Caught by Night

Disclaimer... I don't own Naruto! Nor will there ever be that once in a million years chance where the owner of the anime, breaks down in front of my house and asks to use my phone. While he/she use's it they get hit by lighting and in there dying breath they give me ALL of Naruto...So I'm saying that even though it would be nice to own such a cool anime/manga like that one, I won't, but here's me barrowing Naruto. *Runs away with itachi, and an evil laugh!*

Chapter 9. A killer fox friend.

Sasuke's heart was sure to give him away. He hadn't perfected the telaport Jutsu so if he tried it he'd most likely land on one of the guards. Yet he knew this was the way. He watched as the three Jounin moved around, Then he understood, he could jump the wall.

Sasuke began to slowly walk up the wall making sure to not make any noise, with the lateness of the hour, if he was to get caught, oh how Tsunade would kill him, then bring him back to ask questions. As he reached the top he took a deep mental breath. Hard part was over, now for Naruto.

Sasuke began to jump from tree limb to tree limb. He was going to find the dobe, if it killed him.

Naruto rolled over uncomfortable in his sleep. The giant cut on his back wasn't helping, nor was this sudden headache that wouldn't go away. It was four in the morning all he wanted was sleep, good long sleep.

"Kyuubi?" Naruto looked for his fox friend.

"Kit, if I have to suffer like this much longer I'll snap." The fox spoke trying to sound calm, but giving off a weird sounding voice as well.

"I know Kyuubi, but he's coming, he'll help." Naruto tried to sooth.

"Kit?" Kyuubi whined.

"Yes!" Naruto answered.

"My head hurts." The fox answered as if a child.

"I'm sorry, mine does to, but we'll have to stick it out tonight, think you can do that buddy?" Naruto asked.

"I'm not promising a thing." The fox growled.

"Go to sleep." Naruto quieted him.

"I'll try Kit, but answer me something, What do you think about this...Him coming and all?" The fox asked, interested.

"Honestly, if he's the one you can save us..."

"I see your point, but what about him, do you really think he can help?" The fox demon questioned.

"I hope so. I really hope so..." Naruto said.

"Good night Kit, Try to go to sleep." The fox said.

Naruto didn't reply, due to the worry flashing in his mind, what he hoped and what he wondered were two different things. He rolled over and watched the moon, and oddly enough the pounding in his head had gone. As if he knew it he smiled. "He's coming tonight!" He whispered to the darkness.

Sasuke held up a Map, if he was right, he was in the right path to Suna, He place the Map in his bag and was on his way again. "Ten more hours Naruto, just hold on till I get there." He said to the rising sun. Not thinking much of how sleep he's had or had not had in the last few days.

Sasuke returned to the graceful speed he'd gotten used to and lept into yet another branch. Running was to slow for him, and so was walking, flying this way was how he was going to get there, that was that.

Suddenly he saw it a messenger animal from Suna.

Happy to see the Nin-dog, Sasuke stopped and jumped down from the tree. He was going to look at the message, if it killed him.

It was easy to get a nin-dog focused on something new, he knew this from doing his job with the Snake. Making his way to where the dog would soon be Sasuke waited and held out two Kubai. And the Dog began to pass, he threw the Kunai and pinned the dog by the headband around its neck. The dog wasn't very big, maybe a little bigger then Kakashi's mutt. As the dog fought back Sasuke watch a moment then walked over and removed the message from the dog.

Opening it he read the note.

Sasuke's eyes opened wide.

Naruto's eyes shot open, he could feel something within him snapping, breaking as if in two. The second thing that hit him was pain, pain like he had never felt before, this time internal pain. He sat up and bent over his bed clutched his belly and threw up. 'Oh kami the pain,' He thought to himself. He tried not to let out any yells or pleas for help. For he knew there was nothing Gaara or his siblings could do for him.

"Naruto!" Gaara's voice boomed. A pounding was coming from the door.

'Shit,' Naruto thought, 'damn demon within him too. Must have known.' Naruto held his stomach a second time. He got up out of the bed and tried to make it to his bathroom. Yet couldn't make it in time.

A feeling Naruto only felt normally in battle sweep over him, and he knew what was going on. Lurching a third time, he tried to speak.

"Kyuubi!" Naruto called to the deep dark parts of him.

The fox would answer, yet sounds of growling and yipping could be heard.

"Please Kyuubi, please stop! If you don't we'll die." Naruto tried so hard to talk to his friend.

Kyuubi moaned in pain and barked.

Naruto stood again and made a second run to the bathroom.

"I'll break it down Naruto!" Gaara's voice said. "I swear I will."

As Naruto flung open the door he could hear Kyuubi. "Make it stop!"

"I'm trying, I really am my friend, he'll be here to stop it all, and then you'll be better I promise." Naruto tried to calm the Fox. Cuts began to reopen, and his clothes began to become soaked in blood. He arched his back as pain shot down his back, and blood came from the wound.

A dizzy feeling was coming to Naruto and he fell to the floor. "Kyuubi, please...!" He said weakly.

As if suddenly the fox looked up and stopped. "Kit?"

Naruto looked at the door and watch as Gaara blasted it off its hinges. He could hear small yells of. "Naruto!" and "Someone come quick." Yet the rest faded into blackness.

The sun was setting and Sasuke was in the Suna desert. If that message was right Gaara wanted Sasuke for a mission. Yet, Tsunade would have no clue why he was being sent, she'd have no idea why he'd be summoned to the land of sun and wind, but he knew, oh he knew.

Tears filled Sasuke's eye's the third time of the day, what happened to the dobe? He knew something had to have happened, or he wouldn't feel like as if he'd just been thrown into a rock.
