Hidden Love

When they got there Lee looked at his friend and laughed. "You really got hurt on the same day as Gaara?" He asked. Riku was pissed off about his lover just leaving like that but sighed and left to go to his early class.

Naruto folded his arms behind his head after moving his crutches onto his lap. "Yeah well it happens..has anyone signed your cast yet redhead?" He asked grinning at them and Gaara glanced at Lee then nodded. "Oh there you are!" Anko said walking over to them. "I kinda need to talk to you two." She said looking at Lee and Gaara. "Naruto can't play Romeo since he can't stand without crutches...so Lee your Romeo." Anko said pointing at the black haired male and Gaara gapped. "W-What??!" He yelled.

"U-um.. what? I am not good at this play stuff though!" He yelled awkwardly and then glanced at Gaara. "I mean.. and does that not mean that I have to.. well kiss him as well? I do not uh.. why do I have to do it?" He asked his teacher.

Gaara sweat dropped and rubbed his elbow again. "Yes you are Lee, Gaara can teach you and get you ready. I made up my mind so stop complaining." Anko said and walked off. "Don't worry Bushy-brows you will do fine." Naruto said cheerfully. Gaara stood there for a moment thinking then grabbed Lee's arm and dragged him into the changing room shutting the door behind him. 'Well Anko won't change her mind...so I need to make sure Lee can do this.' He thought and sighed. "Kiss me." He said looking up at Lee.

Lee turned red and backed up against the door. "U-Umm.. excuse me? N-No.. you are dating Riku I am dating Sakura what are you saying?" He said taking it the wrong way. 'Noo kiss him!' His body screamed but he only got more confused about it. He was not.. gay.. was he? But.. Gaara.. there was something special about Gaara in specific.

Gaara blushed and sighed deeply. "If you are going to play this part you have to not freak out and be able to kiss me...your straight and you don't like me so it won't mean anything...so just kiss me." He said and drummed his fingers lightly on his cast. "Stop being a baby." He added.

Lee gulped and looked away. "That is not a good reason.. and I am not being a baby just because I do not want to kiss you.." Lee muttered out but he found his eyes wanting to wander back to the redhead. It took all of his strength not to look back at him.

"Yeah you are, Mr. takes on any challenge. No one's here so stop staring at the floor, I am not gonna let this play be ruined and I am willing to help you out but you need to man up and not freak out on me." Gaara said narrowing his eyes at him a little. "If you can't then I will have to try and find someone else who can." He added with a sweat drop.

Lee took a deep breath and turned, Romeo and Juliet.. was the thought running through his head trying to make himself feel better as he moved his arms and wrapped them tightly around Gaara's waist. One hand moved up and held Gaara's chin, moving in and pressing his lips to Gaara's. A tingle started up right away but Lee had to push it aside and focus on just acting,, that is all that was.. but.. he could not help himself, something made him happy kissing Gaara. He rarely ever kissed Sakura because it felt weird, but Gaara... this kiss with him felt right.. perfect.. enjoyable.. so many words to describe it.

Gaara blushed a dark red his eyes widening. 'H-He really d-did it...i-if I was to kiss back w-would he freak out?' He thought and tried to ignore the feeling of butterfly's in his stomach or the fact his heart was racing and shyly kissed back. 'He kisses better then Riku...GAH! Mind shut up!' He yelled in his head and gripped onto Lee's jacket a little.

Lee felt his breath caught in his throat and he gently pressed Gaara's body against the wall of the changing room. Lee was careful of Gaara's cast while he moved closer to him to improve the kiss. The feeling of the redhead shyly kissing back was amazing. BY far better than when Sakura would kiss back and completely control it wanting to go too far. Lee was extremely happy, for the first time, he was pleased by a kiss.

The younger male turned red and his grip tightened on Lee's jacket. 'I c-can't lie to myself anymore...I d-do like him...oh this is going to c-cause problems..' He thought and kept his eyes closed tightly. He started to feel the need for air growing but tried to keep the kiss going knowing once they broke it things would go right back to normal.

Carefully pulling back from the kiss Lee panted a little bit. "Uh.. how was that..?" He asked his voice sounding hoarse. The older boy backed up somewhat and rubbed his arm looking off to the side. 'I.. I am gay? I.. I really do like him..' His thoughts stated to him softly.

Gaara breathed hard feeling breathless from the kiss and looked down shyly. "R-Really g-good... your p-perfect for the r-role.." He stuttered out and leant on the wall feeling like his legs were like jelly. "S-Sorry I h-had you do that.." He said worried he might have upset Lee seeing he was looking away.

Looking up from hearing 'sorry' Lee felt a little guilty. "It is alright.. I um.. liked it.." He admitted then turned dark red covering his face. "I have to go.." The older boy said and he turned trying to just get away from the situation, too afraid to let his feelings really talk.

Gaara blushed dark and reached out grabbing the back of Lee's jacket. "W-Wait!..Uh..." He trailed off then looked down trying to think of what he was going to say. "I-I'm sorry I m-made such a fuss of you joining the c-class...I am h-happy you get to be my p-partner.." The redhead admitted sounding embarrassed.

Lee just seemed more awkward and embarrassed and he shifted turning around to get Gaara's hand off of him. "I a-am happy to.. but.. I.. I really have to go ok..?" Lee muttered and looked down then took a deep breath and moved closer to Gaara, "I do not regret it ok.. I just need to think.." He whispered then kissed Gaara's forehead. "I will see you in the next class... I am sneaking out.." He said then left grabbing both his and Gaara's backpacks.

Gaara blushed again surprised from the kiss on his forehead and tilted his head watching him leave, the moment Lee was out of the room Gaara smiled and set a hand over his heart. 'Wow...I am so writing about this later!' He thought and pulled his hood down when he walked back into the theater and over to Naruto. "You seem happy." The blond commented and Gaara shrugged. "Just having one of those rare good days.." He replied. After class though Gaara was getting annoyed when two guys were making it hard to walk to class. "So if you're gay does that mean you like every guy?" One of the boys asked putting his arm out to block Gaara from slipping away. "No..I only like guys who have brain cells." Gaara growled and tried again to move around them but winced when one grabbed his hurt arm. "Hey we are not done asking you stuff." The guy said laughing.

Lee was across the outside area talking with Sakura. He was really trying to get the inappropriate thoughts about the redhead from his mind. But halfway into a sentence he stopped looking over at the guys. Lee's heart sunk as he realized he was supposed to be next to Gaara.. protecting him. Without another word to Sakura he took off jogging over to the area with Gaara and the boys. "Excuse me.. but I really must ask you to take your hand off of him.." Lee growled out a little seeing that one of them was tugging on Gaara's broken arm.

Gaara's eyes widened in surprise looking up at Lee and winced again when the grip on his arm tightened a little. "What do you care? He's a fag! Don't tell me your one to." One of the boys said and other sweat dropped. "Uh dude.." The boy said noticing the tension in the air.

Lee's emotion turned immediately serious and he moved over quickly before the boy could react and he punched his arm so hard a bone was almost heard cracking. "I said let go of him! You are hurting him, do you want me to break your arm too? And so what if I might be gay.. what the hell are you going to do about it?" Lee asked a little more than infuriated at the boys.

The boys backed up in fear and shoved Gaara into Lee. "T-There! He's f-fine see? Come on man let's get you to the n-nurse!" The other yelled and grabbed his friend dragging him away. Gaara was still in shock and looked up at Lee surprised. 'Why did he say that..? Maybe he was trying to freak them out..I'm confused.' "T-Thank you.." He said in a bit of a daze.

Lee gently grabbed Gaara's broken arm and looked at it. "No problem Gaara... he did not hurt you or mess your arm up again right..?" He asked going back to his sweet self while smiling a little looking at the redhead.

Gaara blushed and shook his head. "N-No it just hurts.." He replied and sweat dropped when Sakura walked up to them. "Leeeee I was talking to you why did you run off?" Sakura companied and pouted at him, she then tilted her head finely noticing the cast on Gaara's arm since Lee had pushed up his sleeve.

Lee gently pulled the sleeve of the hoodie back down and looked at his girlfriend. "Sorry Gaara was having a bit of trouble.." He said softly to her yet he scooted closer to the small redhead beside him.

Sakura raised a eye brow looking at them then set her hands on her hips. "You guys are acting weird." She said then looked over at Naruto as he hobbled over to them still getting used to his crutches. "What's going on? Gaara why are you so red?" Naruto asked and Gaara glared at him, pulling his hood down lower. Sakura looked at Gaara and smirked a little. 'Oh this is just perfect..' She thought.

"Sakura-Chan we have to go to class now ok?" Lee told her and moved over hugging her lightly. Then he gently dragged Gaara away from the pink haired girl. "Do you need some help walking Naruto or you got it?" He asked.

Gaara was trying to stop thinking about the fact Lee's hand was really warm and glanced back at their friend who was fallowing them. "Yeah I got it! These things can be fun at times." Naruto said grinning and tried to keep up with them.

Lee walked at a little slower pace for Naruto to be able to keep up. A little while later all three were sitting in their class and Lee was blushing putting his head down on the table. His mind kept thinking about what had happened in the changing room and it kept adding Gaara being shirtless and making the noises Lee had heard him do, Lee was trying his best to get the thoughts out. "Ugh.." He groaned and started to hit his head against his desk.

Gaara turned his head and raised a 'eyebrow' at him. "Lee...psst hey Lee.. what are you doing?" He asked setting his pen down. He had been writing down about what happened between him and Lee. Naruto laughed a little and wrote up a note and throw it at Lee asking what was wrong.

"N-Nothing.." Lee muttered to Gaara. Then he felt a little awkward but wrote down what was wrong and tossed it back to Naruto. The note read: I can not stop my mind from thinking about Gaara shirtless and blushing and making these noises and ugh.. I hate hormones sometimes..'

Naruto read the note then blinked, he quickly wrote back it reading: You like Gaara??. Then he rolled it into a ball and tossed it back it bouncing off Lee's head and landing in his open hand. Gaara blinked then covered his mouth as he laughed. "Scoore.." Gaara whispered being playful.

Lee laughed awkwardly trying to pretend that he thought it was. Then he opened the paper and blushed a little responding on the paper one simple word, yes. Then he tossed it back and rest his head back on the table.

Naruto frowned a little and tapped his pen on the paper trying to think of what to write back. He then blinked and wrote: When's that party anyway?' and tossed it back to Lee. "Did you not sleep? Normally you never lay down in class." Gaara whispered and opened his sketch book and started to draw the black haired male again.

Lee sat up straight and blushed a little to see Gaara was drawing him again. "You like drawing me do you not?" Lee asked trying to change the subject. Then he wrote back to Naruto: The party is in two days.

Gaara blushed faintly and nodded. "Yeah...you're so lively and you make a good model...will you come to my art class today?" He asked shyly and quickly started to shade his drawing. Naruto caught the paper when it was tossed back and narrowed his eyes a little at Lee.

Lee could feel the sudden change in his friend look and he shifted feeling uncomfortable, that stare did not make him very happy. "Yeah sure I will come to your art class," Lee said with a smile and started finishing writing down the answer to a problem their teacher had given them.

Gaara gave a small smile then quickly finished up his drawing then ripped it out of his book and set it on Lee's desk. He then started up another drawing not noticing the glares Naruto was shooting Lee.

The older male glanced over his shoulder and then shrunk down a little bit. He pulled out a piece of paper and wrote: What is the matter? On it and tossed it back to Naruto. Then the black haired male smiled and took the picture putting it on the front of his binder.

Gaara blushed and gave a small tug on Lee's sleeve, something he had not done since he was little. "Lee...everyone could see it there.." He said sounding embarrassed. Naruto sighed and read the paper then wrote back: Don't worry about it dude.' Then crumbled it up and tossed it back to Lee, he then crossed his arms and pouted watching Gaara talk to the taller male.

Lee caught the paper and after reading it sighed a little. But then he smiled and leaned over playfully bumping his arm into Gaara. "So Gaara-kun? I want everyone to know that I have a friend who is an amazing artist... they may not know it is you. but they will still know.." He said and chuckled lightly then blinked when the teacher called on him to answer a question, wanting to get his attention again. "Uhh... I do not know that..." Lee muttered under his breath trying hard to think of the answer.

Gaara blushed darker then blinked when he looked up at the board, he poked Lee gently on his hand and whispered the answer then coughed. Naruto drummed his fingers on the desk and watched them closely ignoring his work.

Lee blushed at Gaara helping him out and he said what the redhead had told him and the teacher smiled saying correct before turning around. "Thank you Gaara-kun.." He muttered and scooted a little closer to the smaller boy.

"Your welcome..maybe I should be tutoring you..playing dumb is the only way I can keep from being sent off to one of those smart schools..I would rather be here with you.." Gaara said smiling at him then blushed even darker and quickly added. "A-And Naruto...uh is it getting hot in here s-someone should open a window.." He said tugging a little at the front of his sweat shirt. Naruto twitched a little then let his head fall onto his desk with a loud thud making everyone glance over.

Lee glanced back at his friend and felt confused. Why was the blond acting so weird? Then the bell rang and Lee stood up grabbing not only his books but Gaara's as well, carrying them for the redhead. "Come on Gaara-kun.." He said softly.
