MisatosPePen: Here ya go!!! Smint45: Sasuke’s ring is really pretty too!!!! XD Jessica: It’ll get even sappier when you get to the actual wedding ceremony XD Angelj232000: Totally didn’t even think to have him do that. It would have bee so cute XD ============================================= Sasuke fiddled with his tie, making sure it was neat and straight. He knew he was fussing too much about his appearance but... he really wanted to make a good impression with his family and he wanted them to like Naruto. It was obvious that his father already liked the blond and he was certain that his mother would absolutely love Naruto but the best impression was still the way to go.“Sasuke, please stop fiddling. You’re making me nervous,” Naruto sighed, stepping in front of the raven to tug his tie back into place.
Sasuke had spent the night and then the day, and now they were getting ready for dinner. Naruto was already dressed and pretty much ready. The dress he wore today was deep red in colour, with long sleeves that gaped around his hands and a skirt that ended just about his knees in ruffles. It was simple, one of the simplest pieces he had, but it was gorgeous. Paired with his long, blonde pigtails and soft, feminine makeup, he knew he looked adorable. And that was exactly what he was going for, since he wanted to impress his future in-laws. “We’re going to be late if we don’t hurry and that would be bad.”
Sasuke sighed and nodded turning away from the mirror and sitting down on the bed. He looked at the blond and had to smile at how gorgeous the man looked. Naruto really did look beautiful in any form of dress, or gender for that matter.
“You look wonderful tonight... I don’t know how I’m going to resist from staring at you all night.” The raven’s smile turned into a smirk, his eyes clearly roaming over Naruto’s body.
Naruto shivered pleasantly. “I’m your fiancé, S’uke. You can stare at me all you want. Your parents would probably love that.” He snickered as he looked around for a purse that matched his outfit. “At least they’d know you’re interested in your future bride this time.”
Locating it, he transferred all his belongings to the purse and slung it over his shoulder. “C’mon, let’s get this over with.”
Smiling, he took Sasuke’s hand and pulled him up from the bed, tugging him towards the door. After it had been locked, they made their way down to Sasuke’s car.

About twenty minutes later, the two found themselves outside of the Uchiha household once again. Sasuke was still beyond nervous, even after Naruto’s reassurances. He really could not explain why he felt the way he did but he didn’t like it.
Turning toward his fiancé, the raven placed his hands on the slim waist, pulling the blond closer.
“Ready?” he asked softly, his fingers running along the tan cheek gently.
“I think so,” Naruto sighed, leaning against Sasuke. He turned his cheek into that gentle touch and his heart fluttered. It seemed to do that a lot around the raven. “We can do this…” He didn’t know if he wasn’t trying to reassure Sasuke or himself, but he didn’t think it mattered. “It’ll be fine… Your dad likes me okay.”
Taking a deep breath, he tried to prepare himself. It was kind of a big step, meeting his fiancé’s family. “Let’s just go in, S’uke. Standing out here is only going to make us even more nervous.” Smiling sheepishly, he brushed a kiss over Sasuke’s lips.
Nodding, Sasuke opened the front door and let Naruto step inside first before stepping in himself and closing the door. The house already smelled wonderful, his mother was a great cook and never passed up an opportunity to make a big meal.
Taking Naruto’s hand in his own, the raven led his fiancé into the living room, spotting his father and brother quietly talking amongst themselves. They both looked up as they heard someone enter and both stood once they saw who it was.
“Sasuke, it’s been a while, I’m glad I have the opportunity to meet your new fiancé and may I say, she’s beautiful.” Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke’s older brother smirked as he took Naruto’s hand in his, gently kissing the back of said hand. “Itachi Uchiha... it’s so nice to meet you.”
Naruto’s cheeks promptly flushed as those lips brushed over the back of his hand. God, was he ever handsome… He looked like Sasuke obviously, but… He didn’t even have the words to describe. It was the hair that got to him; he’d always had a thing for long hair.
“Naruko Uzumaki,” he answered with a smile. “And it’s nice to meet you, too. I’ve heard about you from Sasuke.”
Fugaku stood rigidly, his face impassive as he approached. “Miss Uzumaki,” he greeted, extending a hand.
Naruto stared at it for a moment before doing something bold. He figured if Sasuke’s father was going to get used to him, he’d better start acting like himself right away. And he was polite, especially when around parents, but… Nope. He had to do it. If it fucked everything up, then he was obviously never going to be accepted anyway.
Stepping forward, he threw his arms around Fugaku’s neck and hugged him. “It’s so nice to see you again.”
Sasuke’s eyebrows rose a bit in utter surprise. .That... was so bold of Naruto. He knew that his father was a bit adverse to that level of personal space invasion but... However, his surprised expression turned into an amused smirk, his fiancé was too adorable, there was no way even his father could fault Naruto’s enthusiasm.
Itachi shook his head a bit and looked at his younger brother, a definite look of amusement in his eyes. “Cute and bold, I like her Sasuke..”
The younger raven’s expression turned into a slight glare toward his brother. Of course Itachi would take a liking to Naruto, considering what he had at home. However, it didn’t mean Sasuke would allow Itachi to flirt with his fiancé.
Naruto held his breath, refusing to pull away until he’d gotten a reaction. He was so freaked out, expecting to be shoved away and scolded for invading the stoic man’s space without permission. What he got instead, made his breath hitch.
“Hn. It’s nice to see you, as well,” Fugaku answered. The barest hint of a smile lit his face as he returned the hug.
Naruto’s smile could have lit the entire, grand room. He pulled back and grinned at the older man who still hadn’t let go.
“How is Sasuke treating you? Well I expect?”
“Oh yes,” Naruto answered immediately. “He’s a perfect gentleman. I’ve never had anyone treat me as well as he does.” He smiled warmly over his shoulder at Sasuke, his eyes gleaming with love.
Itachi didn’t look away from Sasuke as he sat back down. He would never dream of ruining his brother’s relationship, but that wouldn’t stop him from having a bit of fun with the blond. But it was a bit amusing how much his father tolerated Naruko.
There was a moment of silence before someone else joined them. A woman stepped into the room wearing a light pink apron, she looked almost exactly like Sasuke and it wasn’t hard to tell who she was either.
Mikoto smiled when she spotted the blond in the room as well as her son who was standing next to his new fiancé. The woman could tell right away that she would like this girl.
“You must be Naruko... It’s so nice to finally meet you sweetheart.” The woman held out her small hand, a genuine smile crossing her face.
Naruto’s smile didn’t diminish in the least as he turned to see Sasuke’s mother. She was, honestly, exactly the opposite of what he’d expected. She was sweet and nothing like Fugaku. She looked like she wore her emotions on her sleeve, exactly like him. And she was stunningly beautiful.
“Mrs. Uchiha,” he greeted, taking her hand in his. They were just about the same size but he felt… totally unfeminine with her there. He did not hold a candle to her. “You’re right, that’s exactly who I am,” he giggled. “And it’s nice to meet you, too. I have to admit, you’re not what I expected. You’re beautiful. N-Not that I expected otherwise, I just mean… Never mind…”
His cheeks flushed with embarrassment and he tucked himself into Sasuke’s side, wishing a big hole would open up at his feet and swallow him up.
Sasuke chuckled and kissed the top of the blond head. “Don’t be embarrassed, my mother loves honesty.”
Mikoto giggled and took hold of Naruto’s hand. “No need to be so formal, call me Mikoto or Mom if you’d rather.” Her smile grew in size, she had always wanted a daughter.
Naruto’s face went completely blank. The flush disappeared, and his eyes filled with unshed tears, his chest constricting tightly. He blinked rapidly to keep them from falling, not wanting to ruin his makeup.
“I’ve… I’ve always dreamed of this… To have a family… To have someone I can call ‘mom’.” He smiled and laughed, despite his watery eyes. “I haven’t had a mom since I was really little…”
Lifting a hand, he gently swiped a finger beneath his eyes to clear the moisture. “Sorry, I’m being ridiculous. Just… thank you.”
Sasuke smiled and pulled Naruto closer against him. He knew his mother would love Naruto and he was happy he wasn’t wrong about that.
Mikoto stepped back, her smile still firmly placed on her face. “Well I’m glad you’re going to be part of our family, and I know how much Sasuke cares for you.” She stepped forward them and wrapped her arms around her son, gently pulling him into her embrace.
Sasuke returned the embrace. He had always loved his mother’s hugs, they were so warm and full of caring love.
Naruto smiled at both Sasuke and Mikoto, moving out of the way to let them have their moment. He loved the woman already. She was everything he’d ever wanted in a mother-in-law.
“I hope you don’t hate me for stealing your little boy away,” he snickered. “I promise I’ll take good care of him. I’m so happy to be marrying him. I think yesterday was the best day of my life, since he bought me my ring. I can’t wait for this to happen.”
Mikoto spent a few more minutes with her family before returning to the kitchen to finish preparing the meal.
Dinner was a successful affair. There was pleasant conversation and good food, a very good evening all together. After the meal the five talked a bit more as Mikoto served dessert and coffee. She had something to ask Naruko and she hoped she wouldn’t be denied at least some consideration.
Once the kitchen was somewhat clean, the woman stepped back into the living room where everyone had retired and smiled, seeing her son and Naruko cuddling on the small love seat.
“Sasuke, would I be able to borrow your lovely fiancé for a moment?” she asked sweetly, ruffling her son’s hair.
Sasuke scoffed a bit at the childish treatment but smiled nonetheless at the memories it provoked.
“Go on baby...” he said, kissing Naruto’s cheek.
Naruto flushed lightly as Sasuke used his little nickname in front of his family. It made his chest swell with happiness. He was a little unsure as to why Mikoto wanted him and a lot nervous, but he stood nonetheless.
“Sure…” He followed the female Uchiha out of the room and upstairs. His nerves grew the further away from Sasuke he got. “So, um… Why’d you want to borrow me?”
Mikoto led the blond into her bedroom and headed toward the closet. “I wanted to ask you... well... I um, I’ve always wanted to pass this down.” Pulling out a garment bag, she laid it out on the bed and unzipped it, revealing its contents.
“It’s my wedding dress... I was wondering if maybe... you would consider wearing it?” The woman bit her lip slightly, unsure how well her suggestion would be received. Naruko may already have a dress in mind.
Naruto stepped forward and leaned over to look at the dress. He completely forgot how to breathe.
It was made of perfectly white silk and lace, with a full, poufy skirt that ended in a very long train. The bust was a tight corset that tapered at the waist to accentuate slender hips and it would cover his ‘breasts’ enough that nobody would question him. The sleeves were made of delicate lace with a small hoop that wound around the middle finger to keep them in place.
“Oh my god…” he breathed, running his fingers over the soft material. “A-Are you sure you want me to…? I can’t believe…” Those tears were back, only this time they dripped down his cheeks. “I can’t believe you want me to wear your dress… I- I would be honored…”
Mikoto smiled and nodded. “Of course I do honey... It would look beautiful on you. Would you like to try it on?”
“Yes please” Naruto answered immediately. He pulled the dress free, carefully, and was awarded a better look.
The corset top laced up in the back and was covered with expensive looking crystals. There were pickups all over the skirt of it, with more crystals lining the silk. It was gorgeous.
He was so glad he’d worn a bra that covered the fake breasts he wore, and the underwear that hide his parts. As he slipped out of his dress, it was virtually impossible to tell he wasn’t actually a woman, but he was careful as he slid into the wedding dress. It fit him like a glove. He’d been wrong about the sleeves; they actually sat on his arms. The lace and brightness of the white looked amazing on his skin.
Stepping in front of a long mirror, his breath caught in his throat. His tears came harder, but they were of overwhelming joy. He could totally picture himself wearing it down the aisle on his way to Sasuke.
“Um, what do you think?” he asked Mikoto nervously, wringing his hands in front of him. The long train dragged over the carpeted floor as he turned to face her.
The older woman smiled brightly. She was right, it looked amazing on Naruko. Mikoto walked up to the blond and hugged the girl to her, tears in her eyes as well.
“You look gorgeous honey, I’m so happy that you like it. You know, I never thought Sasuke would find someone... after the whole thing with Sakura...” Letting go of Naruko, the older woman turned away. “I just love seeing him so happy. I haven’t seen him this happy in a long time.”
Naruto wiped at his eyes, but the tears still fell. He was touched. Nobody had ever given him such a gift.
“I’ve never been happier either. Sasuke and I haven’t known each other long, but… My mom raised me to believe I have one person out there and… Sasuke’s it.” He smiled brightly as he changed out of the dress and laid it carefully on the bed, changing back into his own so they could return downstairs. “I know it sounds crazy, but I love your son very, very much. He’s everything I’ve always wanted.”
Making sure the dress was safely tucked away, Mikoto put it back in the closet before heading back downstairs with Naruko. “I know you love him Naruko, I can see it when you look at him... and I know that he feels the same way about you.”
Looking up as he heard someone enter the living room, Sasuke’s eyes zeroed in on Naruto immediately and stood abruptly once he saw the tears and smeared make up, making his way to his fiancé.
“What’s wrong baby, what happened?” He pulled the blond into his arms, worried about what could have possibly happened upstairs.
Naruto melted into Sasuke’s embrace, burying his face in the raven’s neck. He knew he looked horrible. His eyes were probably red and puffy from crying; it was obvious that was what had Sasuke worried.
“Nothing, S’uke. Just your mom… Sasuke, she asked me to wear her dress for our wedding. That was… the best thing anyone’s ever asked me.” He pulled away to look at his fiancé, his eyes sparkling with happiness. “I tried it on and it fits like it was made for me to wear it… It’s amazing.”
Sasuke looked at his mother and couldn’t help but smile. The woman was always so sweet and generous. He wasn’t surprised in the least that she would offer her dress to Naruto. He knew the dress well, there was a beautiful portrait in the entry hall of her and his father on their wedding day; it would look amazing on Naruto.
“I can’t wait to see you in it baby... I know you’ll look amazing.” He gently kissed his fiancé’s lips and wiped the remainder of Naruto’s tears.
If possible, Naruto’s grin widened. He suddenly jumped and wrapped his arms around Sasuke’s neck, hanging off him. He planted a big kiss right on the raven’s lips. “I can’t wait to marry you!” he laughed, pulling back to brush the tip of his nose against Sasuke’s.
It didn’t matter that Sasuke’s family was around, watching. In that moment, he’d never been happier or more excited, and he wasn’t one to tone himself down. It was impossible.
Twenty more minutes later, Naruto and Sasuke were saying their farewells to the Uchiha family, the family of ravens bidding their goodbyes to the blond. They had been told that night that Naruto had asked Sasuke to move in with him and Sasuke would be in the process of moving out over the next week or so. Mikoto became a bit teary eyed when it was her turn to say goodbye, knowing her sweet little boy would not be living there any longer. But she was also happy, knowing Sasuke had finally found someone that made him ultimately happy.
Itachi gave the blond a small hug and a slight kiss on the cheek, smirking at Sasuke as he did so. “I hope we’ll see each other again before the wedding Naruko... and of course you can invite Sasuke if you’d like as well.”
“Before is probably better. Once we’re married, I doubt Sasuke’s gonna let me out of our bedroom for a while,” Naruto murmured to Itachi, smirking. He winked at the older raven before hugging Mikoto, and then Fugaku – again – much to his surprise.
Once they were in the car together, however, his enthusiasm died a little. “Sasuke… do you feel guilty at all for lying to them? If they knew I wasn’t really a girl… I don’t want to hurt your mom after she’s been so sweet to me.”
Sasuke shook his head and started up the car. “It’s ok.... I saw the look she gave me earlier, I’m suspecting she knows, or at least may have figured it out. My mom knows I’m not easily taken into a long relationship, let alone a marriage by a woman. To be honest, I don’t think I’d get along with the type of women who are usually attracted to me for very long, my mom knows that...”
“Nooo,” Naruto gasped, turning to look at Sasuke. “She can’t know… There’s no way! I mean, I know I let myself go a little, but…” He sighed and leaned back in his seat, buckling himself in.
“Okay, but even if your mom’s okay with it… your dad…” Shaking his head, he reached for Sasuke’s hand. “There’s no way he can find out. He may like me a little, but there’s no way he’d be okay with it.”
Pulling into Naruto’s parking garage, Sasuke turned off the engine and turned a bit to face the blond. “Don’t worry... My mom doesn’t want to ruin anything, she won’t say anything to my dad.” Sasuke smiled and leaned forward to kiss Naruto’s lips. “Please, don’t worry baby... everything will be ok.”
“You’re right…” Naruto murmured after a moment. “I should just be happy. I am happy.” He laid his palm on Sasuke’s cheek and kissed him again before slipping from the car. TBC
