War is upon us
A night passed, and although Koroshi was thrilled to have Izumi, she was struggling to accept that she couldn’t fight in the war. She moped about, trying to cheer herself up for the boys. But it was no good. Koroshi decided to give the boys, and Izumi, a puppy each from Kodachi’s litter. There were currently four puppies, and she wanted each of her children to have one. Shisui got a black puppy with gray spots on its ears. Sesshomaru got a gray puppy with a black face. Izumi got a white puppy with a black face and gray on its ears. The father of the litter had been Kiba’s dog, Akamaru. Koroshi had only just found out that information the day before, actually. So she and Kiba were in-laws, then? It seemed strange. Shisui and Sesshomaru enjoyed playing with their puppies, and Izumi just laughed and giggled at her puppy. Koroshi smiled, but she was still having a hard time dealing with things.
