Chapter Ninety-Five
A/N - Sorry for the delay . . . muse scampered off on another project and I had to wait until it burnt itself out before I could get back to this one (sorry . . . my bad!!). I'll try not to do it again now that we're so close to the end! Again, thank you all for your support, especially those of you who take the time to leave a review . . . your kind words definitely keep me going.
Chapter Ninety-Five
“Let's go home and celebrate.” Ibiki whispered in the copy-nin's ear as he made the signs to jutsu them there, pulling the lithe figure tightly against him as they flickered out and reappeared in the lounge.
“I have something for you.” the scarred man continued, reluctantly letting go of his new fiance to rummage in the pocket of his trench coat. “Here you go.” he declared unceremoniously, dropping a small box into Kakashi's hands, “You're tough to buy for. I didn't want to get you an engagement ring, I thought it was too girly, wedding rings are enough.” he continued somewhat nervously, “But jewelry is traditional, so I thought, perhaps, a necklace . . . but I was afraid it would seem too controlling, you know, like a collar.” he finished with a bright blush, peeking under his eyelids at the silver-haired man's stunned face.
“You bought me a present?” the copy-nin stammered uncertainly, “I don't understand.”
“It's an engagement gift.” the interrogator explained, “To celebrate your promise to be mine always.”
Kakashi studied the small box closely before untying the ribbon and lifting the lid. He let out a small gasp of surprise as he reached inside and carefully lifted out an elaborately carved pocket watch. “One side is the Morino clan seal, the other is the Hatake.” Ibiki explained carefully, “Look inside.”
The copy-nin opened the watch and studied the inscription closely, 'Always remember, with every beat of my heart I love you more'. He looked up into worried onyx eyes, studying the impassive face for signs of deception. “It's very beautiful.” the silver-haired man declared with a wide, genuine smile, “I'll treasure it always.”
“Of course, now you no longer have an excuse to be late all the time.” Ibiki quipped as he pulled his new fiance close and kissed him thoroughly.
“On the contrary.” Kakashi murmured when the kiss broke, “Now I have the best excuse of all . . . I was lost in the contemplation of your love.”
“Cheesy.” the scarred man rumbled as he moved to kiss his slender lover yet again.
“Cheesy!” the copy-nin exclaimed as he deftly avoided the arms trying to snag him, “I'll have you know that was a heart-felt sentiment.”
“I'll admit it was sweet . . . probably why it sounded so cheesy.” Ibiki chuckled, “I forgive you for being a sap though . . . just this once.”
“Ha, ha . . . very funny.” the silver-haired man grumbled, “It was no sappier than the inscription . . .”
“So,” the interrogator deftly changed the subject, “how soon can we do this?”
“Get married?” Kakashi replied hesitantly, “I don't know . . . we don't have to make a big deal out of it, do we?”
“Don't you want your friends to be there sweetheart?” The tall man inquired anxiously, “Gaara and Raidou would be hurt if they weren't invited, so would Itachi and Kisame.”
“I guess you're right.” the copy-nin admitted, “But I don't want a lot of fuss.”
“I take it you're not planning on telling Kurenai then?” the scarred man retorted sarcastically, “Because she's bound to try and turn this into the social event of the year.”
“Shit.” Kakashi muttered worriedly, “I can't keep it from her . . . she already suspects something. She's going to turn this into a circus.”
“So let her.” Ibiki rumbled as he pulled the lithe figure close, bending to husk in his ear, “I want the whole world to know you're mine and mine alone. Just tell her it has to be soon, please.”
“Why soon?” the copy-nin whispered hesitantly, “Is there something you're not telling me?”
“Oh no, no 'kashi, nothing like that.” the tall man cooed, voice dropping to an erotic growl as he continued, “It's just that I don't want to wait much longer to make love to you sweetheart . . . you're driving me insane.”
“And why are we waiting?” the silver haired man whispered against the interrogator's neck, sending a rush of gooseflesh across his chest.
“Because I want to wait until you're mine.” Ibiki explained as he nipped at the long column of his lover's neck, “Only mine, forever.”
“Possessive much?” Kakashi muttered sarcastically, but he didn't resist when the scarred man easily lifted him up and strode into the bedroom, divesting them both of their clothing along the way. The copy-nin relaxed as he was pressed into the bed by the interrogator's hard body, arching up to press them even more tightly together as his mouth was plundered.
“Totally and completely possessive.” the interrogator murmured when the kiss finally broke, nipping a pale pink ear as he ground their hardening lengths together.
“So now I need to give you a gift . . . right?” the silver-haired man murmured as he snaked a hand between their bodies to wrap around both their erections, rubbing and squeezing the sensitive flesh together.
“Ah . . . ah . . . I won't complain.” the scarred man finally gasped, “But you don't have to do anything but marry me 'kashi.”
“No, that won't do at all.” the copy-nin husked, “I need to prove I want this as much as you do.” He slid his hand lower, gently fondling his lover's sensitive sac, stroking the thickly puckered scar with a chakra-infused thumb, making the tall man press them even closer together and recapture Kakashi's lips.
They rocked against each other, hands smoothing over all the sweat slick flesh they could reach. The copy-nin wrapped long legs around Ibiki’s waist, pressing their bodies flush and moaning when the interrogator’s insistent erection rubbed against his. He broke away to gasp “More.” before diving back in for another passionate kiss.
The scarred man let out a broken groan, fisting his hand in silver strands and yanking the pale man’s mouth to his, aggressively devouring the sweetness that was his intended’s mouth as their hips ground together frantically.
Eventually Kakashi's head twisted to the side and he let out a loud howl as he came, hot spurts of warm seed shooting between the pair as the scarred man picked up the pace, twisting and writhing until chakra infused fingers wrapped around his throbbing length and began to stroke, sending him over the edge with a roar, adding his cum to the slick mess between them as the lovers reengaged their leisurely tongue battle.
After a few minutes Ibiki pulled back, easily pulling the lanky jounin up to join him. “Shower, now.” the interrogator declared, “Then we need to go to the market.”
gI thought we were celebrating,” the copy-nin teased, “not doing chores . . . you might as well go back to work.”
“Oh no you don't.” the scarred man protested laughingly, “You're not getting rid of me that easily. We can go out to eat if you'd rather not go shopping.”
“We never go out to eat.” Kakashi pondered thoughtfully, “It could be fun . . . do you have anyplace in particular in mind?”
“I don't know . . . where would you like to go?” the interrogator retorted.
“There's a new place near the store . . . I'm not sure what kind of food it is, but it always smells good.” the copy-nin suggested, “I'm willing to try something new, how about you?”
“I'm always up for a change.” Ibiki declared, only to be met by an incredulous look and a snicker. “What?” he demanded.
“You are never up for a change.” the silver-haired man replied with a chuckle, “As I recall it took you twenty-five minutes to break down and try the take-out I got the other day.”
“It was a really odd color.” the interrogator dissembled, “I never know when someone may try to poison me.”
“You honestly believe I would poison you?” Kakashi asked caustically as he pushed the taller man into the shower, soaping up a cloth and beginning to scrub the scarred torso as he waited for an answer.
“Well no, not you.” Ibiki backpedaled, “Enemies.”
“Enemies who somehow convinced me to share poisonous food with you?” the copy-nin pressed as he maneuvered his lover under the spray before starting to scrub himself.
“Are we going to eat or not?” the scarred man asked petulantly, “I'm hungry and I don't want to argue.”
“We're going to eat . . . I don't want to argue with you either.” Kakashi conceded as he finished rinsing off, “Let's get out of here and go rebuild our energy. I'm looking forward to more 'celebrating' later, and that will never happen if I let you starve to death.”
