Sorrow's Shadow

Tira looked down at the girl nestled in her arms. The warmth had left her body, as her blood trailed onto Tira and on to the bed. The smell of death and evil magic filled the air. Tira removed her arm and lept from the bed. She fled from the room and down the stairs into the common sleeping room. Everyone there was dead. Lower Healers, Good Mothers, Battle guards... All of them dead. The whole house was silent. She rushed into the baithing room and washed the blood from her body. She pulled on a clean change of clothes and ran back into the common room. The withered arm of her Good Mother reached out for her.

"Tira... you.. must.." She paused to lick her blood stained lips. " You must... find.. Kakashi. Only.. he.... can help you."

Tira had no clue who or what Kakashi was, only that Good Mother had told her of him. He possesed a powerful knowledge of magic that detected evil magics.

"Good Mother, I will find Kakashi, and I'll bring him here."
