Hey hey hey! It’s my first non-twee fanfic! Now to get all the boring twaddle out the way

DISCLAIMER: I don’t own Naruto. If I did, Orochimaru would be washing my car and Itachi would be my personal slave.

WARNING: It’s YAOI. And it’s VIOLENT. Well you have been warned. I just hope I don’t get banned off this site like I di ff. ff.net…

Anyway, enjoy it…

(A/N: this fic is set in the future. Sasuke ran off to Orochimaru ten years ago and everyone is grown up, aged about 22 or so… and Orochimaru is still evil even though he may seem a little nicer than normal. But this is my story and it’s FICTION so who really cares?)

A hill outside Konoha…

Two caped figures stood on the hill, looking down at the village of the Leaf. So many memories stirred for both of them. One had suffered his greatest defeat here, the other had witnessed the murder of his entire family. To merely look upon the village was painful beyond words.
Sasuke felt tears prick at his eyes and he squeezed them shut to stop the salty liquid from falling on his cheeks. He would be damned if he’d cry now, not when he hadn’t cried for so long… The reassuring weight of a hand on his shoulder jerked him back to reality. He reached up and touched the hand. ‘I’m ok,’ he said, his voice a little thick. ‘I’m fine.’
‘That remains to be seen.’ Orochimaru pushed Sasuke’s hood down and turned the young man to face him. He smiled, a rare sight that only really Sasuke got to see. ‘Oh, my Sasuke…’ The older ninja touched his lips to the boy’s forehead. Sasuke broke instantly, tears freely falling down his face. Orochimaru held him tight. ‘Cry. It will do you good.’ With Sasuke sobbing his eyes out on his chest, the Sannin looked down at the village. I could have crushed this place, he mused. But something stopped me. Perhaps the memories, or maybe it was Sasuke. I will never really know, I think. Konoha is so much to so many people. And it could still be destroyed if we do not hurry…
‘Sasuke.’ Sasuke looked up, his eyes still wet. ‘We have to go now. Our journey is almost over, but we have to speak to Tsunade.’ Orochimaru hated seeing Sasuke upset. The young ninja had willingly joined him, and was a fantastic replacement for Kabuto, who had vanished without trace the day Sasuke arrived. For the first time, Orochimaru had opened up to someone – there was something about the boy that reminded him of himself as a youngster – and now the two were more than just friends, if you catch my drift -_~.
‘I’ll be ok,’ Sasuke said, wiping his face with his sleeve. He sighed heavily. ‘We should get going. I’ll be ok as long as nobody sees me…’

‘HINATA!!!’ Naruto’s voice set some birds in a nearby tree to flight. ‘HINATAAAAAAAAA!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!’
‘Naruto!’ Hinata blushed. ‘The whole village can hear!’ Her hand went to her stomach. ‘But you’re the only one who knows about this…’
Naruto grinned and bent down to kiss his wife’s tummy. ‘Hi there,’ he said, waving. ‘I’m your daddy. I wonder if you’re a boy or a girl…’
Hinata giggled. ‘We’ll find out in nine months,’ she said, drawing Naruto into a kiss. The couple had only been married for a few months, but they were both the happiest people in the village. Everyone thought it was sweet… everyone apart from Neji, who had vanished shortly after the wedding and nobody had seen hide nor hair of him since.
Naruto broke the kiss and smoothed his wife’s hair. ‘I’ve got to go meet Kakashi,’ he said. ‘I’ll see you later!’
‘Bye,’ Hinata said, looking after her husband adoringly as he sped off to his ANBU meeting. Smiling, she went back in into the house and put on some outdoor shoes, in preparation for going to the market. They needed food and Naruto, pig that he was, had eaten most of the cupboard out the previous night when he had returned from a mission with huge hunger pangs. Hinata shook her head fondly. Naruto was going to eat the entire Hyuuga fortune if she didn’t keep him in check.
She looked at the sky. It was a bright blue, but she wasn’t taking any chances so she wrapped a light blue scarf about her shoulders before starting on her journey into the shops. The main street was quite busy, even at this early hour, and she found her way hindered by people greeting her warmly. She ducked into Ino’s flower shop, just desperate to get away from people.
‘Hey, Hinata.’ Ino greeted her lazily. ‘How’s it going?’
‘Good,’ Hinata said, with a smile. She suppressed a giggle as she saw Shikamaru sweeping up some dirt. ‘You’ve got him working.’
‘It’s such an achievement, isn’t it?’ Ino said, with a cheeky wink at her husband-to-be. Shikamaru scowled and turned all his attention to the floor. ‘He’d better pull his weight round the house or there will be hell to pay!’
Hinata chuckled. ‘Hey, Ino, I have news.’
Ino perked up. ‘Yeah?’
Hinata went pink. ‘I… I’m going to have a baby.’
Ino’s shriek could have been heard all the way to the village of Sand, it was that loud. ‘HINATA!!! That’s amazing!!’ She embraced her friend. ‘Oooh I bet you and Naruto are so excited!’
‘We are,’ Hinata said. She beamed. ‘I’m going to be a mother, Ino! It’s the most amazing thing in the world!’
‘Don’t you get any ideas.’ Shikamaru had stopped sweeping and was leaning on his broom. ‘We’ve already got two, Ino. I don’t want another one.’
Ino glared. ‘Shut up and sweep.’
Hinata laughed. ‘I should go. I have shopping to get.’ She was still smiling as she walked to the grocers, where she started to do the rounds with her basket. She paid and was walking back through the streets when someone bumped into her and she fell, dropping her shopping. One pair of strong hands caught her, while another person started to pick up the shopping. ‘I’ll do that,’ Hinata mumbled, blushing and releasing herself from the grip of her saviour. ‘You don’t have to…’ She gasped as she looked at who was helping her pick up her groceries. ‘It’s… you… Sasuke…’
Sasuke gave her a smile and continued to pick up the packages. ‘In person,’ he said, putting the last tin in the bag. ‘Sorry we knocked into you. Someone wasn’t looking where he was going.’
‘Don’t blame me…’ Hinata froze as she heard that voice. Turning round, she found herself face to face with Orochimaru’s blazing eyes. ‘I trust you are not hurt, Miss Hinata.’
Hinata just gaped. ‘Wh… what is he doing here?’ She backed away a little. ‘Sasuke…’
‘He’s with me,’ Sasuke said. ‘Ths a s a reason why he has his hood up, Hinata. We don’t want people overreacting to him.’
‘What are you two here for? Sasu, we thought you were dead!’ Hinata shouldered her bag and stared at the pair in front of her. Orochimaru hadn’t changed a bit since she had last seen him, the day before Sasuke vanished. Sasuke, on the other hand…
He had grown a fair bit, taller than Itachi had been, but much more built. His hair was tied back in a ponytail that snaked down his back to almost his knees. His face was sharper, very defined. He looked a lot like his late brother, only there was a basic Sasuke-ness about him that permeated everything. Hinata looked at his eyes and had to fight back a scream. One was permanently stuck on Sharingan, the other was half Sharingan, half snake-like.
Sasuke caught her looking. ‘I had an accident,’ he said. ‘Orochimaru fixed my eye with one of his snake’s eyes. It’s only thanks to him that I can see again. The Sharingan is slowly coming back in that eye.’
Hinata suddenly felt very nervous in the presence of the two missing-nins before her. ‘I-I have to go,’ she said, turning tail and walking swiftly away.
Sasuke watched her go. ‘She hasn’t changed at all,’ he murmured. ‘She’s still so sweet.’
‘She’s pregnant,’ Orochimaru said. ‘You forget, I can sense these things. And the baby has Kyubi blood. It must be Naruto’s.’
‘So he married,’ Sasuke mused, watching Hinata’s retreating back. ‘She knows we are here now. And she will most likely tell Naruto. We must get you to Tsunade as fast as possible.’

The bright day turned into a rainy night. Tsunade sighed in exasperation and slammed the ANBU reports down onto the table. She had had a rough day, topped by finding Kurenai had managed to detonate half the explosives store by accident. ‘Why the hell did I agree to be Hokage?’ she moaned, laying her head down on the desk. ‘Why me?’ She got up and turned the light off, making to leave. But as she was about to depart, she sensed movement and turned to defend herself.
Too late. Whoever it was had pounced her and pinned her to the floor.
‘Hello, Tsunade-sama. It’s been too long since I was last on of of you.’
Tsunade’s eyes narrowed. ‘Orochimaru… I should kill you here and now!’
Orochimaru laughed. ‘But then you wouldn’t hear my warning and you would die.’ He sat back on Tsunade’s legs. ‘We have the Hokage in a rather compromising position, I feel.’
‘Get off me,’ Tsunade hissed, struggling under his weight. But he was just too strong – his nails had virtually dug through her hands and into the floor, pinning her there. ‘Pe…’ e…’
To her immense surprise, Orochimaru released her, getting to his feet. ‘I only came to talk to you, Tsunade-chan. If you would rather resort to violence, so be it.’ He snarled in frustration and his arms suddenly fell limp by his sides. ‘The magic has worn off again, and Sasuke isn’t here to reapply it… agh!’ He fell to the floor, pain suddenly coursing through his body. ‘Shit…’
Tsunade was at his side in an instant. She could tell that his pain was real, although she was wary of him incase it was just a ploy. ‘Give me your hands,’ she said.
‘I can’t lift them,’ Orochimaru said, from between gritted teeth. ‘Damned Sarutobi! This curse….’ He growled in pain as Tsunade touched his arms. ‘It hurts.’
Tsunade was inspecting him. ‘Sasuke did a good job of healing them,’ she said. ‘I assumed he does a temporary spell each morning.’
‘Yes.’ Oimarimaru’s face contorted in agony. ‘I want my arms back, Tsunade.’
Tsunade sat on the floor, holding her oldest friend’s damaged arms. ‘Is this why you came to me?’
‘One reason,’ Orochimaru said. He had gone even paler, if that was possible. ‘I have another reason… but I shall not say… until you heal my arms. I promised not to touch the village if you healed me. I hold to that promise.’
‘You stole Sasuke.’
‘He sought me out. Just heal me, woman!’ Orochimaru was trying not to lose his temper. ‘If I had my arms back, I could hold Sasuke the way he holds me… You can’t imagine what it is like not to hold the person you love…’
Tsunade’s mind was working furiously. This man betrayed me when we were young, she thought. He left me for love of his jutsu research. He became obsessed with power and forgot his friends. And then he tried to destroy his village and killed Sarutobi! And now he is begging me to heal him… I can’t. I just can’t…
A vision suddenly flashed across her vision, of a teenage version of herself shouting at a teenage Orochimaru. ‘You idiot!’ she saw herself scream. ‘You could have died!’
‘I’m sorry, Tsu.’ Orochimaru was the only one who could get away with calling her Tsu. It was instant death to everyone else who tried. ‘But at least I got your scarf back.’
The vision was one that made Tsunade smile. It was the time when Orochimaru had dived into the river to save her favourite scarf… forgetting that he couldn’t swim a stroke. She enjoyed remembering her teenage years, when the two of them had begun a crusade to upstage Jiraya at every given opportunity.
Orochimaru’s pain was getting too intense and he was on the verge of blacking out. Thanks, Tsu, he thought, waiting for the blackness to slip over him. You’re a great hel… His thought pattern broke off as he felt the warm, familiar press of Tsunade’s lips against his. But that didn’t stop him from falling into the dark…

WOOH!!! There we go. What do you think?

Itachi: Why aren’t I in this?
Me: You’re dead.
Orochimaru: HAHAHAHAHA!!! You’re dead and I’m screwing your brother!
Me: Hold it, Orochimaru – I haven’t decided if you and Sasuke are going to get any action yet…
Itachi: HAHAHAH!!! Snake boy doesn’t get to get laid!!! HAHAHAH (points and laughs)
Naruto: (reading next chapter) Actually, he does…
Itachi: DAMN IT!!!

Anyway, that was it. Bearing in mind that I’m riddled with a virus at the moment and listening to Avril Lavigne (god kill me NOW, Itachi) I think I did ok. Next chapter has more sex and we find out what happened to Neji. And if I’ve spelt any names g, pg, please tell me! Peace out!!!
