Cp1-My Little Matchmaker

Weeee This is my first Fanfic...so please be nice...I hope you all enjoy this Fic...I created Shina (OC) simply because I needed someone to play match maker that was reaosnably close to Sasuke (Sakura was considered...but I think she would rather kill Naruto off than hand Sasuke over to him *evils laughter*)

Anyway...enjoy :P

“Sakura-chan!!” The voice called from not too far away. “Sakura-chan!!!! Sakura-chan wait! Dammit slow down!” The voice bellowed determined. The medic Ninja slowed her pace to a stop then peeked over her shoulder curiously only to fine Shina sprinting towards her. The girl wore her small forehead protector about her neck loosely, bouncing a little as she ran. Hair of raven black, smooth and long tied back into a tight ponytail at her back. She had ivory skin the brought out the flush pink on her cheeks from the running, pale but pretty and even features. Her clothing consisted of a black set of pants and a loose shirt with the Uchiha fan painted on the back. The reason for that was she was Shina…. Uchiha Shina…. Youngest living member of the dying Uchiha clan and bastard daughter of the infamous Itachi. Four years ago the girl had turned up in Kanoha beat up like someone had taken a meat tenderiser to her. Bruises every colour of the rainbow had painted her pale form and she’d been half starved. Reaching the border she’d passed out and lay there until a group of teenagers had found her and rushed to report the ‘dead’ ten-year old to the previous Hokage, Tsunade. She’d been brought back to the village and asked who she was and where she’d come from. But hadn’t said a thing. They’d found it hard to get any information from her for over a week, let alone a word. She’d sat around meekly, trying to avoid everyone who came with in a fifty-mile radius and kept pretty much to herself. It wasn’t until Naruto (in all his big-mouthed glory) had been yelling at Sasuke, while Shina had been listening; how he was a ‘Uchiha bastard who needed a good smack in the head’ did things get interesting.
Shina had been just as quiet as usual, but froze and became very still every time Sasuke-kun had come into the room. The sort of quiet stillness a mouse got when the big evil cat was in the area and was hoping it wouldn’t see. Everyone had wondered, been a bit curious, but it had Pissed Sasuke off no end until a few weeks later he’d snapped and demanded to know what her problem was. The girl had immediately starting screaming and curled up in a tight little ball away from everyone, and gotten quiet violent towards anyone who got close enough to even think of touching her. That day they’d seen fear and red eyes…It didn’t take long to figure it out.
Sasuke had gone into sock-induced silence, while Naruto had managed to calm her down with a gentle hug. Amazing most that he’d managed to get close to the hysterical child. After that Shina had gone into a sobbing rant about how she was not going back to them or him that ‘red-eyed unloving demon from the five cold hells’ (a few more words had been added that a ten-year old should never know). While Naruto had rocked her to silence and reassured none of that was going to happen. Sasuke had just stared; later found he had been trying to tackle the idea of having living family…close living family. The rest was history. After breaking from his reflective shock, Sasuke had stunned everyone by opting to look after the ‘kid’ for a ‘short while’ until something more permeant was sorted out. Needless to say after Sasuke had stopped walking about the girl like she was made of spun glass and would shatter if he even breathed on her (he wasn’t great with kids) and Shina had ceased slipping about him, glancing his way like he might be evils incarnate. The two had gotten along quiet well and the ‘temporary’ stay had so far lasted the four years. Shina had mellowed out a bit and was now Fourteen. Spending most of her time hanging around her uncle, Naruto (nicknamed Kitsune-kun or Naru-kun), Shikumaru (For some ODD reason she actually enjoyed talking to him), Kakashi (Who had developed a habit of watching her closely after the incident involving her stealing off with his Itcha-itcha paradise books and trying to sell them to Naruto) and finally herself. Which brought her back to the now.
“Damn Sakura! Are you getting so old you’re going deaf? I’ve been calling you for five minutes.” She’d caught her breath now and was eyeing her with speculation. Sakura immediately bristled at the comment.
“I am not old brat.” She was only 22.
“Che…” The girl turned her gaze away and casually stuffed her hands into her pockets in a very Sasuke-like gesture. “Fine.” Shina was insulting, some times. But never really meant it. Plus she knew how to act about Sakura. The younger girl was only fourteen and almost a Jounin. But Sakura was a Jounin and a Medic Ninja with some experience at that. Sakura mellowed.
“What do you want Brat.” The tone was far more, friendly, the ‘brat’ sounding more like a friendly nickname than the insult it could be. Shina turned those ebony eyes on her again slowly, as if assessing if she should speak. A grin suddenly bloomed on her lips with a devious feline taint to it.
“I need a favour.”
That girl could change personalities like that. It reminded her a lot of Sasuke and Naruto plopped into one person. Like she was trying to figure out who she wanted to be like more and kept changing her mind.
“What kind of favour?” Sakura could literally feel the plot thickening as that feline smile grew.
“If Sasuke asks if he can stay over at your place…I need you to say no.”
Once upon a time Sakura would have gone into immediate ‘Sasuke-meltdown’ and thought something along the lines of ‘ohmygodSasukestayingatmyplacedamnyesplease’ then proceeded to tell Shina that ‘if Sasuke-kun wanted to stay at her place it was his choice and she would love him to’ while her inner self did a little pump-actioned victory dance at the prospect. But she’d matured a lot since her crush. Realising the crush would always just be that, as crush. That Sasuke valued her, maybe liked her, but needed her more as a friend. Once that had sunk in, and she’d sobbed a few days with self-remorse. She’d realised she’d live and accepted it…moved on. So instead of drooling and zoning out to la-la land she looked at Shina curiously.
“Why would Sasuke ask that?”
That girl managed to look even more devious and Sakura kept waiting for the tails and horns to pop out so she could yell ‘Ah ha! I knew it!’ but had no such luck.
“I’m playing matchmaker.” Admitting to her crime with feline satisfaction.
“With Sasuke-kun?” The tone seemed to also say ‘are you mad you crazy girl, do you serious value your vital organs!’. Shina picked up on it but continued to grin and nodded vigorously, like she would simply laugh in the face of death! “Why?” Was the second question? The grin faded and she huffed again.
“Che…Because I’m suck of him moping about the house with this ‘poor lonely me’ act going on. The guy needs affection. He needs it bad…he needs it lathered on him until he’s sick of it. Might hammer some sense into him.”
Sakura hadn’t been aware Sasuke ‘moped’ but if Shina said he did, he probably did. The girl knew a lot about the Anbu. The four years had been good for both of them. Sasuke had learnt to have family again and smiled more often much to his fangirl gathering's delight. Shina had gained something of a childhood back. She seemed to have figured the man out pretty easily. Where no one seemed to understand what he was thinking half the time, she girl could translate word for word. It must have been an Uchiha thing.
“So who is the fortunate candidate?” A ghost of a smirk, tainting the corner of her own lips. Shina picked up on and chuckled.
“Naru-kun of course?”
Sakura almost choked on her surprise and fell over. Thankfully neither happened, but her eyes did feel ready to pop out of her head.
“NANI???”(1) Blinking to keep her eyeballs drying out. “But…Naruto! What? Shina that’s…he’s…” Blinking again feeling something like a stunned goldfish then frowned. “Wait. Naruto’s a guy!?”
“Dah!” Rolling those dark eyes at the taller pink-haired Jounin. “Just noticed that ha?”
“Why would you want….” Words failed her and something went ‘click’ in her head. “…Sasuke’s gay!” She squeaked. Sakura might have gotten over him, but it still came as a surprise. Damn, did Ino know??
“I wouldn’t know?” That got a raised blossom coloured brow at Shina. But she continued. “What I mean is he could like girls as well. Might be Bi not flat out gay? I do know he Likes Naru-kun.” Purring her satisfaction with a cat-got-the-cream grin.
Sakura was trying to get the mental train back on the tracks of her mind looking down at the girl blankly.
“So you are going to help me?” Expectant eyes gazing up at her.
“I guess?” Murmuring it before she knew what she’d murmured. Shina pumped her arm back and hissed out a ‘yessss’ before winking at Sakura.
“Thanks Sakura-chan. You’re the best.” Then vanished before she could pull herself from the stunned fog.

Sasuke had been wandering down the street towards his house after finishing the grizzly mission he’d been sent on for the day by Naruto. Only to turn the corner to find the house tented. Stopping in his tracks he frowned and saw Shina sitting outside of the house smiling sweetly.
“Hey Oji-kun.”(2) She chirped. She was too bright and happy. His conspiracy detector jammed on high as his mind tried to figure out what she was up too. Something was up and why was the house tented??
“Shina, what is going on?” Nodding to the building cut from view.
“Oh?” Turning her head she innocently peeked over at the house before turning back with a grin. “I got the house fumigated.”
“WHAT!” He bellowed, his face showing more expression in that split second than most days. “Why the hell did you do that!?” Demanding an explanation. She simply cocked her head to one side looking coy, those dark eyes closing to curve into a happy arc.
“We had ants.”
“We did not have ants.” He snarled.
“Yes we did! Big ants!” Then added with a smug smirk. “And termites.”
He groaned and dry washed his face.
“Shina. We don’t have termites.”
“Che…course we don’t. They’re dead now.” She was being difficult. Then added. “By the way. We can’t use the house for three days.”
“NANI!” Going pale. “Three days!”
“Yeah.”
“Fumigation doesn’t take three days.” He was looking furious.
“Sure it does. I told you…we had ants. BIG ants.”
His eyes narrowed to cold black slits. The anbu was starting to think of ways to kill his only living relative and dispose of the body without notice.
“Where are we meant to stay ha? Think of that?”
“Sure did. I’m staying at Sakura-chan's.” Purring contently with her obviously flawless plan. Sasuke felt the corner of his eye twitch.
“You asked Sakura if we could stay?”
Blinking in all that ‘adorable’ innocents.
“I asked if I can stay only has Sasuke-kun. She only has one spare room. So you’ll have to find somewhere else to stay.”
-must none maim, must not maim- repeating the thought over and over in his head with frustration. He would not kill Shina. Nope. No matter how mad he got. -Godammitalltohellthelittlesneakybrat- She was up to something…but what.
“Fine I’ll stay at Kiba’s.”
“Che.” She snorted. “You seen his house, you’re too much of a clean freak. You’d flip out.”
Okay maybe she was right.
“Shikumaru…”
“Don’t expect me to bail you out of jail after you murder him.”
The vein in his temple throbbed. Eye twitching again.
“Kakashi then.”
Her eyes actually went wide at that.
“No way. He’d got Iruka staying over. They need some ‘private’ time together.”
He paled, okay not Kakashi. Suddenly she looked devious as he mulled over whom he would stay with. He was not one for living on the streets. Plus he was exhausted from the last mission.
“You could stay at Naruto’s?”
The evil ploy sudden came together and he blinked. Mouth hanging open she had already started grinning wider.
“In fact that is perfect. I already asked him. He said it would be fine? Already sent your stuff over. Okay? Great…I’m off.” Her bag was suddenly noticed by Sasuke as he grabbed it and vanished in a puff of pale smoke leaving him in shock…mouth hanging open on it’s loose hinges. Suddenly he slipped back to himself and swore.
“Shit!” Part of him was excited at the prospect of staying with Naruto for three days. Considering the major feeling he had for the current Hokage it wasn’t surprising. But the rest of him (the larger part) was having a mental break down. Maybe if he hadn’t known of Shina’s evil plan he wouldn’t have felt so nervous. But knowing the reason why she had made it obvious what she expected to happen. To his knowledge. The girl was the most up-to-day fourteen-year old he knew. Most girls her age were doing things other than trying to hook their uncle up with the current Hokage.
-Current blond haired, blue eyed, hot as hell Hokage- The thought intruded without consent and he blinked…. Then swore again. He liked the girl, even loved her. Which was always a big thing for him. She was the only family he had left that was capable of loving him back and seemed to do so without a worry. The only one who didn’t mind knocking some sense into him when he needed it and speaking her mind. The only one who knew how to make him laugh, feel human and relatively normal. She didn’t mind hugging him when he least expected it. Went out of her way to make him happy even if he protested. Actually no…that wasn’t true. She wasn’t the only one who could and would do that. Coming to the conclusion that…Uchiha Shina…was too calculating for his taste.
