Unexpected Relations

A/N: HEY! This is my first fan fiction, so forgive the short chapters and possiblility of it being absolutely HORRIBLE. OH WELL! I’ve had this story bouncing around my head for a while, so I figure I should get it down ( finally).Yeah, I don’t own Naruto. (insert witty disclaimer here)

Title: Unexpected Relations
Pairings: Naru/Sasu, possibly a M/F pairing as well. (mostly the two boys, though)
Rating: NC17 (for future chapters)
Warning: Shonen-ai, yaoi (as in MEN! MEN WITH MEN! FLEE IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT!), violence, little bit o’ angst

A/N: For the sake of storyline, in the story, Itachi is 15 years older than Sasuke, rather than just five. ON WITH THE SHOW!

Naruto walked through the snowy village, planning to enjoy the night before heading home. He had just completed a B-rank mission, involving escorting a noble to the Water country. A few attacks from ninja, but nothing caused him too much trouble

Since bringing Sasuke back from Orochimaru and passing the Chunnin exams, he had grown to be an attractive young man, with a female fan club that rivalled is friend’s. The orange and blue outfit had been long since abandoned, and replaced with a more flattering choice of black and red, which he had became fond of. His appearance had matured as well. The baby fat from his days as a genin had slimmed away to be replaced by long, lean muscles. He never was bulky, but blessed with a slender figure and considerable height, although he never did surpass Sasuke. Even his hair had grown out, long, and shaggy in the front, and shorter near the back, giving him a striking resemblance to his father.

However, some things never change, like his eternal adoration of ramen or that childish sleeping cap, and that rivalry, although weakened after their return to Konoha, never failed.

Under Jiraiya’s training, his abilities had flourished, making his a highly respected member in the village. Only 18, and he could already fight evenly with the best jounin of Konoha.

He shivered, pulling his coat tighter around his shoulders. The weather was bitter cold, and all the sensible people were hiding in their houses.

However, Naruto has never been described as sensible.

He wandered on, over a snow-carpeted bridge, looking at the sky and dreaming of going home to Ichiraku, when something on the bridge caught his eye. A girl. Shivering under a blanket. Apparently asleep. He looked at her pityingly, and bent down to wake her. The least he could do was buying her some food and a hotel room for the night. He shook he shoulder and jumped back, eyes wide with shock, as the snow fell off what he thought was a blanket.

‘What the hell is she doing with one of these?’ he thought, mind skittering across the possibilities.

‘Why the HELL does this girl have one of the Akatsuki cloaks?’

Reaching forward to try to wake her again, her eyes snapped open and glared at him menacingly. She then back-flipped onto the bridge’s railing, drawing a hidden kunai in the process.

“Who are you?” she growled, raising the kunai to a defensive position. “What do you want?”

Naruto remained silent, dumbstruck by her speed and surety. ‘She must be a ninja, and a strong one, if she managed to get one of their cloaks.’

“I ‘m not going to hurt you,” he finally replied, trying to remain as calm as possible. “Do you need any help?”

She threw the kunai, which he caught with ease, although he wasn’t prepared for her to vanish and lunge at him from behind. He dodged, but barely.

“They sent you, didn’t they?” she hissed. Naruto remained surprised at this girl’s skill. ‘Not an amateur either, I see.’

She lunged again at him. “DIDN’T THEY?” she screamed, and was knocked unconscious. The blond was shaken to the core at what he saw in the girl’s eyes before he knocked her out. He hoisted her over his shoulder and began to sprint toward the Fire country. At his pace, he would be there in under a day.

He had to take this girl to Sasuke. He needed to know exactly what happened.

That in the girl’s eyes, Naruto had seen the bright, blood red Sharingan.

Good? Bad? Deserving to be pissed on by dirty, constipated sheep? (no offence to those with constipation)
