Naruto's Pov

They where beating him again.
Why did he have to be so weak?
He couldn't stop them even if he wanted too....they where too many, and he was only one....
He just closed his eyes and waited for the pain to stop, soon he was unconsous.
Some time later he awoke to find it dark out. He had already healed most of the way and his bruises and cuts would be gone by morning. If only the pain in his heart would stop....

Naji's Pov
She looked back at her former sensai and smiled waving goodbye. She turned around and faced the road. It would take her all night to make the journey, but it was worth it.
She didn't really look like much of a ninja....but really, she was the strongest of the village of Fire.
Looking at her she was shorter than most, she had dark brown hair that she tied up samurai style.
She had bright golden brown and bright red eyes. She wore a long red dress like outfit that had fire designs all over it, but underneath she wore long red pants and a small red shirt.
She grinned as she walked hoping that they would let her into the village, after all she could be a spy/assasin.

Iruka's pov

He walked into class and saw that one person was missing, everyone saw where he was looking and new right away who was missing. He cleared his throat and was about to start when the one person who could have been late arrived.
"Uzumaki Naruto! Your late again....what am I going to do with you huh?"
He looked down at Naruto and saw again that his eyes where glazed. He wondered if his young student had even slept, let alone studied.
"Sorry Iruka Sensai, when I woke up I was already late..."
He felt sorry for Naruto, but he didn't pity him, he respected him too much to pity him. He smiled slightly at him before replying.
"Just take your seat..."
He watched Naruto sit down and began his lesson, hoping that Naruto would actually listen this time.

Naji's pov

"What do you mean? I traveled a long way to come and train here!"
She glared at the guards as they outright refused to let her pass, or even talk to the Hokage.
"Fine I'll just let myself in!"
She yellad at the stupid guards, not expecting them to take it seriously.
"Well we'll just have to stop you then!"
They got into fighting stances and hoped it would scare her away. But nothing could scare her away from her goal! Not these guards, not anything! Except for matbe....uh nevermind!
One guard lunged at her and she dodged to the right, the other appeared behind her. Since she couldn't block she swung backwards in a summersault then launched off of his face. She knew that she had used to much force as she flew toward the wall. Luckily the guard stood in the way and caught her.
"Your not bad at fighting, but you forgot.....your not fighting only one person!"
She was being held know by two of the guards.
"We'll take her to the Lord Hokage, he will decide what to do with her!"
She went limp, she couldn't fight these guys while they held her, so she would have to wait for the oppourtunity.
They brought her too a room where there was a few ninja's in black, she watched them fascinated as they talked and seemed to be at ease. When they noticed her though, they froze and followed the guards.
"My Lord Hokage, this young girl tried to break into the city, but we caught her just in time!"
The older man looked to the men who had spoken. Between them was a young girl wearing all red. She looked up at him her eyes clear and calculating. They reminded him of Naruto's eyes but at the same time where different.
She looked up at the old man and knew he was wise, his eyes showed recognition but she knew she had never seen him before.
"Why where you trying to get into the village?"
She was surprised he would ask her. She expected him to call for her death or somthing.
"I just want to train as a ninja...and maybe find a place I can call home...." She was lying about the second part...but in a way deep down it wasn't a lie.
The Hokage stared at her and noted her appearence. her clothes where shabby and she didn't carry anything with her except a small pakage and a letter. he nodded for them to let her go. Both guards let go and left the room, deciding to go back to the front gate.
"Who is that letter for?" he asked kindly trying to show that he wasn't heartless.
"It's for the Hokage, I was supposed to further my training but the guards ignored that..."
He nodded and told one of the Ninja to set her up, by then school was out.
