Blood runs thicker than water

Golden blond locks moved every so slightly as the owner walked down the semi crowded street. Somepeople would stop and stare, for they rarely had seen anyone with such sun kissed hair nor such beautiful blue eyes of the keeper. Girls would point at him and squeal, mothers nodded proudly while fathers put on a 'got-to-get-through-me-first' face. Yup, Tokyo was a crowded city in some parts, and in some parts mothers were looking for approving young men for their daughters to wed. ((S/N: I'm way off course here...I didn't know how to start it out. xDD))
Uzumaki Naruto was making is way through the streets to get to school, Konoha High. His blond spikes shot in every direction, some strands sticking to the side of his face from the sweat glistening down from his forehead. Yes, it was hot in Tokyo. His bright blue eyes had a rare hue that always twinkled brightly in the day light. He had the most petit face any girl or boy has seen! Three whisker scar marks grace his cheeks, three on each side, people believe that they were his beauty mark for such a beautiful boy. His tanned looking skin is natural to him and somewhat hot to some girls. His navy school uniform seemed to do the trick as well.
He mumbled excuses as he made his way past other people. Bumping into someone every now and than, he dropped his text books onto the ground. People were never nice around the city, if something dropped they would just walk around the person and their belongings. Sighing, the blond bent down to pick up his fallen books. As he was reaching for his last text book, Math, somebody already had reached out to get it. He looked up and was met with..
"Sakura.." Naruto breathed, his blue eyes meeting her turquoise ones. ((A/N: Thought it was Sasuke, eh? xDD))
"Naruto-kun." She greeted and smiled softly, handing him the worn out book.
Haruno Sakura. A beautiful girl who also attends Konoha High. She had pink hair right above her shoulders, tied in two low pig tails.Her turquoise colored eyes shimmer with delight and excitement to try out new things. Her body was curved just right in every spot, though she keeps on saying she's fat or getting there.She wore the school navy jacket and the plaid skirt of navy blue and black. She had her skirt just above her knees unlike other girls in school who have their up to their mid thighs. She had on white stalking's that reached below her knees and she wore the schools ugly shoes.
"Thanks Sakura-chan." He returned the smile and took his text book.
"Mou..Naruto-lun, you should be more careful with your things, you know sensei will get mad if these aren't returned the way we got them." She said in a warning but playful tone. The blond chuckled and waved to her as she went on ahead. Sakura was one of his friends..he wasn't exactly popular or a loser, he was mostly..a loner. He had a crush on Sakura but it was small so it didn't scare him. He always avoided relationships and dates from other girls. He blocked himself off from other people, too afraid if things went too far..he wouldn't be able to turn back..
Snapping out of his thoughts he heard faintly the school bells ring. 'Shit!' He thought as he started to run towards his destination.

Naruto slumped in his desk, out of breath. His teacher wasn't even here yet! 'Stupid Kakashi-sensei..' He grumbled as he pulled out his history book and saw some dirt smudged onto it. 'Just great..' He glared at the dead text book before opening it to the page they were assigned. Ten minutes have passed by and he was still breathing heavily. His class mates were chattering to one another, they knew that there teacher would be 45 minutes later or never came at all so they left their books in their bags.
There was a knock on the door that brought everyone's attention to it. A young lady, looked to be in her early twenties, stepped in and blinked as everyone was looking at her. The lady let her head dropped and sighed, knowing that Kakashi must have skipped off somewhere again. She immediately lifted her head and scanned the room. Finding the person she was looking for she waved.
"Naruto-kun!" She yelled. The blond grinned and greeted back before getting up and walking to her.
"Shizune-san." Shizune was the assistant to the school nurse and principal, Tsunade. Shizune had chocolate brown hair that reached her mid back but while doing her job, she had to have it tied up. She wore the usual white nurse uniform with clipboard in hand.
When the teen reached her, he heard her gasp. Looking up at her, he seen that she had instantly started putting her hands on his forehead, neck and chest.
"Naruto-kun! What happened?! Your breathing is harsh, your sweating and you look too pale! What did you do?!" She was in panic mode by now.
"Eh heh...I heard the bells ring so I decided to run so I wouldn't be late..sorry." He smiled sheepishly and she narrowed her eyes down at him.
"And..how far away were you?" She pushed, eyeing him as he fidgeted under her intense gaze.
"Four blocks.."he whispered lightly and gulped.
"FOUR BLOCKS!!! FOUR!! Are you insane?! You know that if you do anything reckless than you'll has a less chance of-" she stopped mid sentence and looked to her side. The who class was staring with interest and listening to their conversation. Shizune coughed and led Naruto out of the room and down to the nurses office.
Everybody in the class just shrugged it off and went back to their talking. Somewhere along the rows, dark obsidian eyes watched the whole thing with interest. His long slender fingers touched his chin in thought but was interrupted by a annoying high pitched voice.
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura stood in front of his desk, plastering a wide smile on her face. He was almost blinded by the brightness.
Uchiha Sasuke, Drop. Dead. Sexy. Every girl wanted to be with him, every guy wanted to BE him. You can just say he's popular. His dark raven locks were..uniqe in a way, his bangs curved his face while in the back of his head, it was spiked in one direction, Dark obsidian eyes that could seep into anyone's soul if they were caught in a trance. He had pale skin, natural pale skin. He tried tanning once but it never worked. His school uniform was neatly pressed with no crinkles in sight. Neat freak.
"Sakura." He nodded his head towards her. They had been friends for around three years now. At first the Uchiha didn't like the thought of being friends with one of his fan girls but he got to know her and thought she wasn't that bad.
"What would you like?" He asked, getting straight to the point. She giggled.
"You know what I want. I want to go out with you of course!" She chirped but frowned when he shook his head.
"Aww...you rejected me every time, now I want to know why is that." She placed her hands on his hips, her frown still in place.
"That's because.." 'think fast Uchiha!' "I got to stay focused on my studies if I want to get into a good university and support my future family." 'what the hell..' He thought before shrugging. There came squealing from the girl in front of him.
"Just what I expected from you! Thinking of your future and family..." She sighed dreamily before walking away.
Now he can have time to himself. The Uchiha thought back to the blond. Yes..his name...Uzumaki Naruto, seat #39. He first noticed him a couple months ago, when Shizune-san would come everyday and ask him to come to the nurses office. He would be there for around fifteen minutes before returning back to class. Now he only goes there around two to three times a week. The Uchiha guess he was the only one who notcied..he also noticed that before Naruto had to be brought to the nurses office, he was quiet popular. He was loud and hyper, he was friends with everybody. But than soon he stopped hanging out with the crowd, he kept himself away from others. Like he was afraid to get into any kind of relationship.
He's guessing that he best friend, Nara Shikmaru, seat #18, must know what's going on because he never acted like nothing is happening when Naruto's being dragged to the office. He shrugged it off for now, it was none of his business.

Naruto sat on the bed in the nurses office. Listening to Tsunade babble on and on, on how stupid he was, to run four block.
"Tsubade-obaa-chan, can I go back to class now?" He said with no emotion. He heard the old hag bark at him for everything he did. He elegant eyebrow twitched.
Tsunade was not an old hag. She was just in her mid fifties. She had no wrinkles, had a big bust and she had no silver or gray hairs..yet. Her hair was a dull blond color. Her eyes were a deep chocolate brown ((A/N: I have no clue if that is her eyes color e.e;;)) and she had thing eye brows. She dressed in the head nurse outfit, different from Shizune's. But most of all, she loved Naruto. Naruto had first came to her nurses office, just when she started working there, he had several scrapes on his knees. He says he got it from soccer but really, he got it from being pushed down the steps. Naruto wasn't a favorite back than but soon his popularity raised when he started to hang out with Hyuuga Neji. But soon after that it dropped, after they found out..
"You brat, you should be thankful that nothing bad happened. Well when I took your temperature earlier it was quiet high, but now it seems fine. You should really watch yourself." He scolded him lightly and furrowed her brows, massaging her temples.
"Can I go now, puh~leeze!" He whined, much to her annoyance.
"No, not yet." She opened her eyes and glanced towards the door.
"What? Why not?" The blond puffed his cheeks out.
"Because, I'm going to make sure I have someone to watch over you so you don't overdo things when I'm not around." She glanced at her favorite student, glad with the shocked face he hand on.
"What?! I don't need a babysitter!!" Tsunade left long ago before he could say what he wanted to, so he just stood there, awaiting her return. Suddenly he heard the announcement bells go off and he heard Tsunade's voice.
"Will Uchiha Sasuke from class A-3 come to the nurses office. Uchiha Sasuke from class A-3 please come to the nurses office. Thank you." Naruto gaped. Tsunade came back in and sat on a chair, taking a pen lying on her desk and started to write on different sheets for other assignments she had to do. It was tough being the school principal and nurse.
No later than five minutes, Uchiha Sasuke walked in the room, looking perfect as ever, he bowed to Tsunade and waited. Silence filled the room except for a pen scratching some paper. Than suddenly the old women turned to the Uchiha.
"You will be Naruto's guardian, watcher, stalker or what ever. I just need you to watch him and make sure he doesn't do anything reckless like running four blocks to get to school." She shot the blond boy a glare and he stuck his tongue out in return.
"why is it that I have to do it? You could have asked someone else to do it, like Nara-san." He had no clue why was he chosen, was this old hag a fan girl of his too?
"Don't be so conceited Uchiha-san?" She said as if she was reading his mind.
"I would have left Nara-san do it but he would complain how troublesome it was or he would get distracted by the clouds." She shrugged her sour shoulders than looked at him with intense eyes.
"I see, well..alright, I'll watch over Uzumaki-san ." He knew better than not to go against the headmasters wishes. she smiled, forming some crinkles on her cheeks.
"Very well Uchiha-san, watch over Naruto-kun and keep him safe." Her raised a black brow, It was as if she was giving him her first born child.
"May I ask, why does Naruto need someone to watch over him?" He wished he hadn't said that because instantly Tsunade's face darkened and Naruto looked down.
"Naruto is.."She started out but stopped when she saw the look on the blonds face. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly open. It looked to be as if he was afraid and lost. She looked down and shook her head.
"He'll tell you if he wants to." She walked over to Naruto and popped some pills into his mouth and gave him water to chug them down.
"There, that should clam your nerves down." She smiled and gave him a little push to the door. Sasuke followed quickly but not before hearing Tsunade say "You better not fail me or else!". He shivered. He seen her strength before. When they got out into the hall they started to walk back to class.
"Don't cause me too much trouble." The Uchiha said and looked at Naruto, with no emotion on his features.
"Shut up! You're the one who shouldn't cause me-"The blond was cut short and he walked into a wall.
"Ouchie!! He brought his head down quickly to place his head in his hands but ended up hitting the wall again.
"Itai!!!" He cried, tears forming at the outer corners of his eyes. Sasuke rolled his eyes and brought Naruto's face to his.
"Dobe, remove your hands." Soon Naruto removed his hands and opened his eyes. Sasuke's breath caught as he seen the sight in front of him. He actually thought the blond was cute when his eyes were so big and innocent..with tears forming at the sides...save the blood running the the middle and down his nose. He reached forward and quickly licked away the blood, even though it wasn't much, he didn't really feel like going back to the nurses office for he would be scolded at for not watching over Naruto for less than five minutes.
"Eh?" The blond blinked away his tears as he felt the others tongue licking at his wound. He shivered and shook away the feeling inside of him. Right now the Uchiha had both of his hands on either side of Naruto's arms and they were standing extremely close. Naruto pushed at the other boy lightly and bowed, whispering his apology.
"Uh..we better get to class before the bell rings." The blond quickly said and took off, leaving Sasuke behind. The Uchiha though seemed disappointed, he wanted to hold the fox like boy closer to him, to feel his warmth against his body Frowning he walked slowly as ever to the class room, not caring if he was late or not.

Right now the Uchiha had both of his hands on either side of Naruto's arms and they were standing extremely close. Naruto pushed at the other boy lightly and bowed, whispering his apology.
"Uh..we better get to class before the bell rings." The blond quickly said and took off, leaving Sasuke behind. The Uchiha though seemed disappointed, he wanted to hold the fox like boy closer to him, to feel his warmth against his body Frowning he walked slowly as ever to the class room, not caring if he was late or not.
