Teaching

Tenten pulled the kunai out, notching each one between a finger. They were released as quickly as she grabbed them, keeping Lee moving faster and faster, as she progressively made her throws more accurate.

“C’mon, Lee, I almost got you in the leg that time! Pick it up!” Tenten said, simultaneously hurling a shuriken low across the grass. Lee swerved, and kicked his foot up, deflecting the shuriken.

For 10 straight minutes, neither of them slowed down, the pace only getting faster and faster with each throw. Eventually, Tenten stopped suddenly, calling out “Alright, that’s enough practice for now, Lee. Time to take a break.” She began to pick up her weapons, humming no particular tune as she did so.

Lee seemed at a loss of what to do. He fidgeted his fingers a bit, keeping them busy, thinking.

“Are you sure we could not train a little longer?”

Tenten smiled, bent over, recovering a kunai. “A little longer always turns into a little bit more longer, and then before you know it, hours have passed.”

“But…still..” Lee started, his fingers beginning to twitch wildly.

“Why don’t you just have a seat? We can talk, if you want. I brought food.” Tenten cut in, opening up a blue bag with some lunch in it – ramen, bento box lunches, and assorted snacks. Some bottled water as well.

Lee looked around a lot, and then just stared at Tenten. The look in his eyes said plainly ‘Do I HAVE to?’

Tenten lowered her head, and smirked a little.

“If you really want, you can do some handstands or something while we talk.”

Lee lit up with excitement, and decided to completely forgo lunch. He promptly positioned himself vertically, pushing himself up, setting himself down, and then pushing back up.

Tenten sat back, leaning against a tree, and opened up a bottle of water, sipping slowly before initiating conversation. If she didn’t, Lee would just do those handstands forever.

“So, what’ve you been up to, Lee?”

“Well, today, so far, I have trained 5 hours! Yesterday was better – I got in 7 hours, not including those in my sleep!” He said, doing yet another handstand, looking ready to switch over to push-ups soon.

“I mean…other than training, Lee. What have you done, lately?”

“Ah -” Lee started, and then went nowhere. He drew a complete blank, but didn’t seem to mind so much, now deep into his push-ups.

“C’mon. Anything?”

He shook his head. Nothing came to mind.

“Well…what about Sakura?”

Lee paused in his push-ups very suddenly. He wasn’t sure how he was supposed to respond to this question. Tenten, asking about Sakura, who he did like very much, but… how do you just talk about this, he thought.

“Well, you’re crazy over her, it’s not like you’ve tried to make it a secret at all.” She chuckled a bit, then stopped, figuring that wouldn’t help Lee figure out how to talk to girls at all. He had a very idealized way of how dating was supposed to to go, and while she thought it was very sweet, she knew he needed guidance on this. Guidance that didn’t come from Gai-sensei.

“I like her.” Lee replied, simply.

“I know you do. What I’m talking about is trying to get you to know her better. Now, how do you think you can get her to like you?”

“By defending her for the rest of her life and impressing her with my acts of bravery!” Lee instantly shot back, very confident in his answer.

“That’s… your heart is in the right place, Lee, but I think that’s not exactly the right direction.”

“You do not?” Lee blinked. He was baffled as to how he could have possibly not been correct.

“It’s too much too fast. That’s a lot of enthusiasm for a girl to take in all at once. You have to start slow and small, sometimes.”

“Well…” Lee rolled forward from his pushup, sitting cross legged. “How do you think I should get her attention, then?”

“Just… talk. Kind of like what we’re doing now. Let her get to know about you – the you that isn’t in a fight or training. You’re very sweet and loyal, Lee, but it sometimes gets hard to see when you’re trying too hard. Sometimes, restraint is hard work too.”

With that, Tenten flashed a smile. Lee rolled his shoulders forward and smiled back, thankful for help. He was going to say something in return, to tell her that he was grateful for help –

But suddenly, he froze up. His face became flushed with red, and he stood up with a rapid, herky-jerky motion.

“Uhm, I, I, I needtogothankyou!” He sputtered, before running off with no direction in mind.

Tenten blinked, taking it in.

“… what?”

Lee ran without thinking, feeling desperate to just be away, and alone, to have somewhere to hide, where no one could see him.

It did not help to be wearing a tight bodysuit in his current condition. He bit at his lip, trying to figure out exactly what was going on with his body. Everything felt warm, and that was getting, well…hard.

He focused on breathing, trying to calm down.

Once he felt suitably in control, and that he shouldn’t be thinking about why he was so very warm, he curiously poked at it.

He shivered a little, and seemed taken aback by himself. Embarassed. But over what?, he wondered. He didn’t know what there was to be embarassed about. He wasn’t even entirely sure why he ran.

So, with some hesitation, he put his hand onto the bulge.

Oh. The shivers again. But they felt good.

He paused again, still feeling slightly embarassed, but he liked that buzz of energy. And once again, he wondered what, exactly, he had to be embarassed about, so he saw no real reason to grip a little tighter.

Another buzz, mild electricity running through his neurons, making them come to life. Reacting to it, he squeezed more, and it pinched, but even that felt pretty good.

Relaxing his grip, he put his palm on the head, and gently slid his hand down, and then up, rubbing the entire length. It was pleasing. He had no idea why it was, just that he knew he liked the feeling.

So he stroked. And his breathing became heavier, hotter, even beginning to eke out low groans uncontrollably. Sweat formed on his forehead, dripping down to his cheeks as he went on, rubbing and squeezing through the fabric.

“Ahh…ah-hahhh…Oh, good,” He said to himself in whispered tones, and didn’t stop.

Up above, among the trees, Tenten walked silently. She had to know why Lee had run off from her like that – wasn’t like him at all. She was curious, and just a bit worried.

When she spotted him, she peeked her head out slowly from the canopy. Her eyes widened, and she blinked, taking in the sight. Lee, fondling himself, his stomach expanding and contracting visibly with each sharp breath.

“Wow,” she said, inaudibly.

Still observing him, she made a silent note to herself.

“So that’s why he ran…guy stuff…”

“Is that because of me?” She thought to herself, and made a personal, inward smile at the thought.

She’d have to remember this for later.
