~~~Kakashi, Iruka, Team seven and Team 10 were all gathered around Iruka's living room. Asuma had a mission and asked Iruka if he could help Kakashi with his team, seeing as Iruka knew Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru well, he had taught them before after all. Besides this was not any real get down and get dirty sort of mission, it was just basic health stuff that Tsunade thought all the teams should know, stuff Iruka had not covered in the Academy, since it had not been really proper to talk about such things with small children, which was ridiculous when you thought of them being taught how to kill and maim and to do bodily harm, sex ed should not have been any worse. But for some reason, the Academy had always felt that it was better that the kids learn things like that from thier parents. But when Tsunade had discovered that alot of parents were uncomfortable talking to thier kids about sex, and most of the older kids had learned via experience and not all had been really all that great of experiences, some had even wished they could undo them. So Tsunade thought it time that the genines at least learn proper sex Ed from experienced teachers, about thier health, diseases, sex itself and all that stuff. To say the male jounin were not quite looking foward to it was an understatement, but an order was an order and they would do what they needed to do. Asuma had been lucky to have gotten a last of the minute mission. But Iruka didn't mind, he himself agreed with Tsunade-sama, he thought the kids should know this sort of stuff.


~~~The kids had diffrent expressions on thier faces as both Iruka and Kakashi stated the facts of life, all about the birds and bees and all the nasty diseases. They told them the facts of self examination, and what signs to look for if they thought they might have gotten something from a sesual partner. It was all pretty clinical and stuff. The two teams either had rapt faces (Sakura, Ino) bored looks (Sasuke, Shikamaru) or looks of utter disgust and embarrasment (Naruto, Choji). After all talking about having to get a shot DOWN THERE if they had a certain form of treatable STD was not someting to smile about, it bought up all sorts of horror like images to thier minds. But all stayed silent, listened and some even prayed to God that if they didn't open thier mouths, then the sooner this hell would be ALL OVER.


~~~After all the facts were stated and everything explained in minute details, both sensei asked if the kids had any questions. Naruto and Choji were silent but their eyes were round as saucers and they looked pretty green around the gills so to speak. Sasuke and Shikamaru just averted thier faces and looked anywhere but at thier senseis hopeing this was over..NOW. But nooooooo, leave it to the two females present to ask questions, which they ALL had to endure. There was mumbled words along the lines of 'useless girls' 'troublesome females', one guess of which of the four boys present said those words. But the girls ignored them and looked at thier senseis. Sakura raised her hand politly so she could ask a question.


"Yes Sakura-chan?" Iruka asked with a big bright smile, he had expected the first one to come from one of the smartes kuinichi he had ever taught.


"Well senseis I know what love is, but how can you tell if the one you love loves you back?" Sakura asked, both Ino and Sakura looked over to Sasuke, but if Iruka's eyes were not decieving him, and he was sure on THIS particular occasion they were not, Ino was slightly looking more towards Shikamaru, not Sasuke. Hmmm, this was a new developement, he thought. After all Sakura and Ino had both proclaimed to love the Uchiha heir since childhood. Appearantly some things changed.


"Well first off Sakura-chan, Love is a complicated emotion, there are many forms, like the love for a friend, the love you have for your parents or siblings, teammates and so on, then there is true love, but dont be to hasty, sometimes what you may think is love may only be infatuation, lust or just a crush, something you may grow out of when you begin to mature and grow older, get to know someone better, so the true question is...do you REALLY know what love is?" asked Iruka.


"I think so...I mean my heart beats faster and my palms get all sweaty when Im around him..all I do is think of him all the time, I worry about him constantly and all I want to do is be near him as much as humanly possible."


"Ok for argumants sake, lets say thats true love, what you want to know is if he love you back."


"Yes."


"Well thats stupid forehead girl, if you wanna know if he loves you all you have to do is look at his face." came Ino's reply with a smug smirk. All of them were suprised when instead of Iruka it was Kakashi who had spoken up.


"Actually thats not true Ino-chan, a person face is just reveals how well he can use his charm, looks dont tell you how or if he loves you."


"How about the way he looks at you, surely you can tell if its love by the look in his eyes?" Sakura added.


"Nope..eyes can be decieving, people, especially Shinobi know how to disquise thier facial feature, including the look in thier eyes to reveal nothing." Again that was Kakashi.


"Then how about when they hug you? Surely that means they love you?" Ino chimed in.


"Wrong again...a hug is just his or her arms, you can hug anyone without actually feeling anything for the person...I once had a woman who was a spy hug me...she hugged me to try to put put me off guard so that she could slit my throat." Kakashi replied cooly and all eyes looked at him with shock, and a bit fear. Iruka was pretty speechless as well.


"How about the way he talks to you?" Suprisingly, this came from Naruto.


"Words can't always be believed, again as Shinobi you have to know how to lie to get out of situations that can get you killed, Shinobi are good at lying to get what they most desire..so no, words can't always be trusted."


"Then HOW can you tell if a person love you or NOT?" Sakura asked with exasperation. Kakashi smiled. If the curve under his mask was any indication.


"Easy...It's in his kiss." was the simple reply and they all looked at him as if he had just sprouted two heads, mouth hung agape and eyes wide as humanly possilbe. Even Iruka had to look at him with something akin to disbelief.


"WHAAAAAATTTT?!" all six kids yelled. Yes even stoic Uchiha and lazy arsed Shikamaru, even Choji who spit chip crumbs all over the place.


"As I said...If you wanna know if the person loves you..it's all in his kiss." Kakashi restated without batting his one visable eye. He was serious.


"Kakashi-sensei could you please explain your resoning for this?" Iruka asked, not sure if he wanted to know, but the teacher in him could just not accept this as a suitable answer.


"Simple...many of the things we have discussed can be disquised, even used against you...but if you really wanna know if a person loves you then kiss them..if the kiss is forced, then you know that they have no real emotion towards you, they are just doing it for either alterior motives, or out of obligation...if its sloppy and rushed, its lust and all they want to do is get it over with and get in your pants and bed...sometimes a kiss is dry and cold and you know without a doubt that that person could care less about you...kisses are hard to disguise because they are something more personal, something more basic....a person can fake a farely good kiss for a mission, but if your smart enough and not thinking with other parts of your body then your brain pretty much tells you, that its not real, its not a kiss full of love, its just a means to an end...but when a person loves you..truelly loves you with his very being, his very soul and heart, then when he kisses you...its there for you to see clear as day..you feel like your soaring...like you could conquer the world just with that kiss alone..a kiss full of love speaks promises of a future that no words could ever describe, that kiss can show you what no hug or facial expression ever could...in that one kiss all that that person feels for you is shown and conveyed without any doubt what so ever...so as I said...if you wanna know..if he loves you so...its in his kiss." Kakashi explained and then pulled out his little orange book and began to read it.


~~~The kids were speachless, even Iruka was speechless. Soon after no other questions were forth coming, the kids left and Iruka turned to Kakashi and cleared his throat. Kakashi looked at him and smiled, well his eye smiled.


"What the hell was all that bullshit about love being in his kiss?" Iruka finally asked him, once he'd gotten the copy nin's attention.


"Who said it was bullshit?" Kakashi asked with a raised eyebrow.


"So you were serious?"


"Yes I was Iruka-sensei....and I can prove it to."


"How?"


"Easy...I will show you." Kakashi said a bit to happily and before Iruka could say a word, kakashi had taken off his mask and was kissing the living daylights out of him. It was not forced, it was not sloppy and rushed, it was slow and sensual, and Iruka could tell there was a tiny hint of lust in it, but it was like a backround thing, the kiss itself was intense but not, he couldn't explain it properly there were not words to decribe what he felt while Kakashi was kissing him. It was like floating yet not, it was heaven yet still totally grounded in reality. Again hard to explain except for one thing. in that one single long passion filled kiss, Iruka could tell one thing for certain. Kakashi's very heart was in it, his mind his soul. It was breathtaking and wonderful all at the same time. It was just simply amazing. All too soon the kiss broke off and both were left panting and breathless on the couch.


"How long have you loved me?" Iruka finally asked, without a shadow of a doubt in his mind that Hataki Kakashi was in love with HIM.


"They day you challenged my right to nominate team 7 for the chuunin exams..I knew then and there that someone who cared that deeply for the kids he taught might have a heart big enough to love a scarred and tainted man like me..was I wrong?" Kakashi asked with a bit of nervousness in him. Iruka smiled.


"You tell me...what did my kiss tell you?" Iruka grinned. Kakashi smiled brightly, having had taken off the mask to kiss his heart true love with all he had.


"Then I was right...if you wanna know if he love you so...its in his kiss." Kakashi replied before pulling Iruka back in for another kiss, his heart lighter as he not only felt but believed with all his heart just by the way Iruka responded and participated in thier kiss, that Iruka loved him too. Who needed words when a kiss could tell you all you needed to know.


A/N~ya I now sappy and all and a bit OCness...but this sort of just came to me when I was listening to this oldie but goody called "Its in his Kiss." I dunno I thought of Iruka and Kakashi and well this is what was spawned from that Idea...hope it did not suck to much. ty and huggles Mija..:-)
