It was You

It was you; you were all I cared about. I wanted you, I wanted you so badly. I wanted to feel you next to me and I wanted to feel you in me. All that mattered was that you were here with me, I promised myself that I would bring you back and become stronger so I could keep you here. I would die for you, I would do anything for you, it didn’t matter to me anymore but right now you’re here and right now I am here. And right now I want you.

“Naruto? What are you doing here?”

He looked through the checkered line of the door hearing the patter of rain outside. He leaned forward then opened the door seeing a drenched bleeding Naruto leaning against the frame of the doorway. He stared at him his eyes widening as he blinked hearing his hoarse breath whisper seductively without meaning too, “Sasuke…help me.”

He never heard such words escape his lips before. Never has Naruto ever asked him for help he would always have to force it but right then and there he was asking him, begging him and blood tapped against the floor. The next thing he knew Naruto’s body fell falling onto him causing him to stagger back to the ground their bodies pressing against each other in a tormenting way.

He lifted his head slowly to look into his blue eyes full of vigor but at the moment it was full of sadness and aching bewilderment. He asked suddenly concern reflecting from his usually sonic face, “Naruto what happened?”

His head fell as he whispered, “I was so stupid…I couldn’t even help myself…”

He helped him to the couch laying him down carefully. His face, his usually flawless face was scratched and torn. He usually saw it heal so quickly and his body was a mess, it looked like he had been through hell and back. His half lidded eyes showed the dulled eyes while Sasuke asked while walking to the bathroom quickly and taking out a first aid kit and some other things, he only knew the basics and hopefully that was all he would need, “What happened to you?”

He turned his head in a limp way causing Sasuke to freeze the color leaving his face as he saw the mark of a hand on his neck and his lips bruised. Dropping the bandages he collapsed on his knees staring eye to eye with the boy his usually confident posture falling as his eyes dilated shaking, “Naruto…no they…”

For the first time in a long time a tear slid down his face onto his clenched fist his teeth gritting against each other as he whispered, “They raped you.”

That was 2 months ago, now they sat in the forest waiting for Kakashi. Naruto hadn’t changed at least that he what he led the people who knew what had happened to believe. That consisted of Kakashi, Iruka, Tsunade, Shizune, Jiraiya and himself. After Naruto had passed out at his home he lifted him over his shoulder and walked to Tsunade for help. She healed him rather quickly and when he woke up he couldn’t look them in the eye. He didn’t talk about it; he acted like he never happened.

Sitting against the tree with Sakura continuing on and on about something or other she did last night he stared at him as he sat on a branch of a sakura tree disclosed from everyone else when he usually always pestered them. Glancing to Sakura he asked sounding meaner than he intended, “Well you just shut up.”

She jumped suddenly as he turned back to Naruto. He had one leg bent upwards pressed against his chest and the other hanging down. The scars from before had long disappeared but one remained, the hand print on his heart it was almost burned into his skin. He felt dirty, he felt sick and he felt violated. He had thrown up so many times already he felt that his gag reflex had completely disappeared.

He laid his head back against the large tree his headband still across his face. He had thinned out and his muscles showed more since he had gotten so tall but Sasuke had also. He had a thinner face and his hair was much thinner. He seemed frail but he was stronger. Sasuke had toned out his shoulders broad and waist bony with long legs. He had grown to be about 6 feet tall as Naruto was only about an inch shorter.

Sakura herself had grown and curved up but she was still the same Sakura. Naruto had his eyes half lidded in a daze looking at the long stream. Suicide, he had thought about it for such a long time and yet he was a coward he couldn’t do it. He never talked to any one about it, he didn’t dare.

Shutting his eyes he heard a voice from behind him and a hand on his shoulder causing him to jump across the branch squatting down one hand on the branch the other on his knee. He was shaking unbearably his eyes widened nearly on the brink of tears. His lips quivered as he looked up to see Kakashi staring at him. Sakura jumped forgetting Naruto’s current position screaming, “its about time Kakashi-sensei! We’ve been waiting a long time you know!”

Swallowing Naruto loosened himself not saying anything. Kakashi stared at him in worry walking towards him whispering so they wouldn’t hear, “Naruto are you alright?”

He lifted his head carefully then nodded faster than he should of. Kakashi reached a hand out feeling him freeze up suddenly. He whispered, “Maybe you shouldn’t take this mission.”

He shook his head quickly. He was 16 now and they were equal with Kakashi he didn’t need them lecturing him. Kakashi nodded jumping down with Naruto following. He once again stood away from everyone Sakura yelling annoyed, “What are you doing Naruto?!”

He turned to her smiling tiredly, “Nothing Sakura jeeze!”

Sasuke stared at him seeing he was fiddling with his loose under clothes. They all wore clothing identical to Kakashi’s except Sakura to which wore her usual attire. Naruto left his over size flack vest open the sleeves of his shirt too long and his pants perfect.

Sasuke looked away for a moment while Kakashi spoke casually, “The Hokage wants us to run some errands, no big deal only take some scrolls to the surrounding villages. These scrolls though are quite important so there goes the enemy warning.”

They gave curt nods while Kakashi ordered them to head towards the path. Naruto to try to keep himself sounding normal took the loud lead with Sakura yelling after him. Sasuke stared at him for a moment then turned to Kakashi in question, “What is it?”

He spoke softly, “Naruto, keep an eye on him.”

“I always do don’t worry.”

Kakashi smirked to him then allowed him to catch up to him. He put his hands in his pockets carefully and thought over how close Naruto and Sasuke had gotten it was a little strange as it thought it over. With Naruto not talking they didn’t know what happened to Naruto well who did it anyway.

Sasuke called, “Naruto.”

He turned suddenly smiling brightly. Sasuke froze as he looked at that smile, he wanted to puke as he thought about himself pushing away those feeling of hurt and forcing those smiles. Those weren’t the smiles he wanted from him he wanted real smiles; he wanted the old Naruto who was an annoying idiot not the guy in front of him.

He glanced to Sakura then asked kindly, “Can you leave I need to talk to Naruto for a minute.”

She jumped pouting and turning walking away. Naruto stopped walking while Kakashi and Sakura glanced to them walking ahead. Kakashi voiced waving his hand, “I’ll meet you at the gate then around 6:00 instead how about that.”

He nodded while Naruto turned to look at them his hands on his side. He turned his head carefully to Sasuke asking, “What’s wrong Sasuke?”

He looked to him carefully then asked while they walked in the opposite direction towards the waterfall to which Naruto had told them he had been taken. Naruto jumped suddenly he avoided this area with all his heart he never came near it, his heart beat quickly as he pulled back, “I don’t want to come here, I don’t want to go this way.”

Sasuke turned to him hurt filling his eyes as he reached out suddenly grabbing his hand causing his heart to beat faster with fear, “Stop running away Naruto! Its time you face this!”

He shook pulling back vulnerability in his eyes as he yelled, “No! Stop it Sasuke! I don’t want to go this way!”

He pulled back thrashing yet then suddenly he was pulled into his tight embrace. He stood stiff as tears rimmed his eyes. He whispered, “Sasuke?”

“I’ll look after you, you dobe. I’ll take care of you. I won’t let anything touch you.”

Naruto turned into jello in his embrace as he held onto him tightly. Sasuke stared down to him whispering, “Trust me Naruto.”

Tears rimmed his face as he whispered, “Please Naruto, I need you…more than you’ll ever know. I can’t lose you.”

His eyes dwindled as he whispered, “I tried to forget about it…but when I finally did I kept seeing that hand…I was scared…I never want to be like that again.”

Sasuke quickly took his lips into his own quickly sliding his tongue into Naruto’s mouth pushing him back. He froze, was Sasuke really doing this to him? Backing away carefully he looked down to the blond under him whispering, “I won’t hurt you…”

Looking up to him his hand beside his head and the other parallel to his body he whispered, “ I promise.”
