Better Left Untold 1
Sasuke transforms himself to learn Naruto’s secrets and gets a hell of a lot more than he bargained for in the process.

Prologue
An orange clad 16 year old wearily made his way up to his seemingly shabby sixth story apartment as rain pounded against the windows. Outside, shivering as he was pelted with freezing rain, another boy watched and ran his fingers through his soaked raven hair and sighed to himself.
“No more hiding…Naruto…” He performed a series of complicated hand seals and with a small puff of smoke the dark teen had disappeared and in his place was a small, shivering black and white puppy.

Chapter 1: Naming Sasuke
“Naruto! Where have you been? We looked all over for you.” Naruto grimaced before muttering a grudging response.
“You weren’t looking for me, you were looking for Sasuke-teme.” Sakura looked offended but Naruto cut her off before she could contradict him. “If you gotta know I was cleaning up this little guy.” He said, pulling a tiny puppy out of his jacket. Sakura squealed and took him from Naruto’s hands examining the dog, he had soft black fur around his eyes, on the end of his tail and his paws, ears, and muzzle the rest of the little dog was a creamy white color. When she had finished looking him over Naruto was barraged with questions.
“Who does he belong to? What’s his name? Where did you find him? What happened to his paw? Are you going to keep him?” Naruto was a little dazed but answered her questions easily.
“No one’s ever seen him before so I’m guessing he’s a stray. He doesn’t have a collar so he probably doesn’t have a name either, I found him limping outside my apartment this morning, he must have stepped on some broken glass,” Naruto motioned to the carefully bandaged paw, “I dunno if I’ll keep him…the company would be nice every once in a while.” Sakura cooed at the injured puppy and kissed the pad of his paw. The puppy gave her a very Sasuke-ish glare in return and bit one of her fingers. The dog was hastily handed back over to Naruto, who laughed and let the puppy chew on his fingers, earning him a ‘humph’ from Sakura.
“He looks like Sasuke-kun.” Kakashi’s students jumped and the one in puppy form stopped biting the blondes fingers to look at the silver-haired ninja, who was hanging upside-down off of a tree branch. Naruto was first to regain composure.
“You’re early.” He said simply, tilting his head to the side in question. Kakashi nodded.
“Yes well…” Sakura interrupted.
“Oh don’t bother. Why did you say the puppy looks like Sasuke?” Kakashi rolled his visible eye.
“He’s got mostly black fur and black eyes, he gave you a patented Sasuke death glare and he’s attempting to detach Naruto’s fingers.” Kakashi nodded in Naruto’s direction, where Sasuke-puppy was indeed trying to deprive him of his fingers. Naruto laughed and looked at the black and white ball of fuzz with soft eyes.
“I think he’s cute.” Sasuke puppy stopped chewing abruptly to see if he had misheard his blond teammate. Sakura seemed to be thinking the same thing.
“Who? Sasuke?” She asked tentatively. Naruto’s eyes immediately hardened and he glared at her.
“No,” He growled, grinding his teeth, “The puppy.” He held up said fluff-ball, who blinked. Kakashi shrugged.
“Since Sasuke didn’t bother to show up I guess I’ll just tell you two.” He cleared his throat, “We have no missions for the next month.”
“What!?” Naruto and Sakura yelped, accompanied by Sasuke-puppy’s yip of surprise and indignation. Kakashi smiled beneath his mask and winked at Sasuke while the other two were busy freaking out.
“I’m giving you a month to do whatever it is you need to do.” Kakashi said, looking meaningfully at Sasuke. Sasuke cursed mentally and glared at his sensei, how the hell did he know it was him? Sasuke was snapped out of his reverie by his blond friend.
“What do you mean ‘whatever it is you need to do’?” Kakashi just grinned.
“One day you’ll understand Naruto.” Naruto glared at the jounin. ‘I’ll give you “one day”…bastard. You’ll all see…someday.’ He tucked Sasuke-puppy into his jacket, making sure he could stick his head out and headed home.

Naruto ascended the steps to his sixth story apartment slowly and when he reached his door quietly dispelled the genjutsu guarding it and unlocked it, stepping inside and throwing his keys into a small bowl on a nearby table. Sasuke puppy stuck his head out and looked around, surprised that there weren’t empty ramen cups littering the floor. The walls in this room were a very light grey that faded into a very light blue in the connected kitchen, both of which were very clean something that also surprised Sasuke. Naruto sighed heavily and pulled Sasuke out of his hideous orange coat and put him gently on the floor.
“Alright little guy I’ll be right back, I can’t stand being in these for another second.” He gestured to his clothes before disappearing down a hallway that Sasuke assumed connected to the dobe’s room. Sasuke followed him and mentally gasped when he saw Naruto’s room. He had expected bright orange…not this. The walls were cobalt blue, scattered with silver stars and there was a mural of a large reddish-orange fox with bright yellow eyes on the ceiling, all in all, it was breathtaking. Naruto appeared from a door on the far right corner of the room and laughed when he saw Sasuke ‘gaping’ (as much as puppy can I guess) at his room. He picked him up and carried him back to the family room, plopping down on a dark gray couch.
“You need a name. I can’t just keep calling you ‘little guy’.” He held Sasuke up in front of him and Sasuke noticed he had changed clothes. He was wearing a navy blue shirt and baggy black cargo pants with black converse. Sasuke looked at Naruto’s face and praised the gods that Naruto could see the blush that spread over his cheeks. The blonde had removed his headband and put on black eyeliner, making his eyes stand out even more than usual and seem incredibly sexy. Naruto closed his eyes and hummed in thought.
“Hmm…Tsumetai? Arashi? How about Raimei?…no…maybe Kurai…what do you think?” Naruto looked at Sasuke questioningly and Sasuke was irresistibly drawn to him. He licked Naruto’s nose and yipped in surprise when he realized what he had done. Naruto smiled at him.
“You’re too cute for your own good,” He looked at Sasuke, who blinked in response. “Arashi or Kurai?” Sasuke glared at him but yipped twice, Naruto smiled softly and hugged him. “Kurai it is.”
