Despite the popularity of Ichiraku, many ninjas and ambassadors come to this restaurant for its variety and down to earth atmosphere. It had sit down tables as well as booths, various cultural pieces of art, and lively, earthly, colors. It even had its seasonal decorations.

Since it was spring, the windows were open, letting sunlight shine on the lanterns, causing colors and patterns shining. The Green beast of Konoha was preparing the food alongside a few of the female staff. 'I pray that no one that I know recognize me here.'

Kakashi winced at Gai's booming voice 'Dammit must he be so loud?'

The lazy shinobi didn't know what in his right mind made him walk with Maito Gai for lunch. Yeah...he must have been smoking some good weed...

After Sasuke left and his other two students went under the wings of the legendary sanins, Kakashi really didn't have much else to do. So he spent his free time moseying up with his annoying rival Gai-sensei.

Gai glanced at the bold red letters with an empress that said "Kouzoku" as well as the familiar curtains. "Ah yes...I’ve heard of this place. The ambassador from the fire village went here; come my rival, let us FEAST!" Fuzzy brows-sensei grabbed Kakashi's arm and ran inside.

Kakashi almost whistled at the place; it was lively with various nin, townsfolk, and outsiders. The waitresses could even give old Ebisu out of the closet and the smells were making his mouth water behind the mask.

Kakashi blinked; he thought that Gai would say something stupid that would cause his student to blush or humiliate him further, but that was...positive. He twirled his chopsticks on the table as Lee blushed slightly from Gai's words.

"Thank you Gai sensei." Maito Gai motioned Lee to come down to ear level and he whispered something that caused an interesting reaction to the younger student. Lee went through several facial expressions, from uneasiness, to horror, to complete panic. Rock Lee was all out stuttering and flushing as he ran into the back towards the kitchen.

What the hell was that? Kakashi raised his eyebrow again at the exchange; Gai only laughed and turned his attention back to his friend/rival. "Now my rival, let's converse!"

Oh shit...Kakashi grumbled as he tried to put up friendly conversation with Maito Gai, but the result wasn't as bad as he thought; it was actually enjoyable. They mostly talked about random things such as their teams and future genin, until Gai suddenly bolted up from his seat.

"I'll be back my rival! I must...uh...use the restroom!" The other sensei raises an eyebrow; Gai was awfully nervous about something with his face flushed like that. He watched his friend leave quickly; almost walking bowlegged towards the back and pondered about that.

"........no......I am insane thinking about that between the both of them."
