Chapter 1
Twins named Taku and Naruto were born to a young couple, actually the vice president of a major company, and an entrepreneur. They made a fine couple, even though they're businesses differ they got along great. When the wife became pregnant, they were over joyed, but they were only expecting one child and not two. The oldest Taku was more of a mix between the couple, while the youngest, Naruto, had only characteristics of the husband.
They discussed about the sleeping arrangments because they only planed for one child, but here they had two. So they gave the baby room to Taku, since he was first born, and they made a make-shift room in a walk-in closet for Naruto. At the age of two, they saw Taku write letter in the sand on the beach, they had his I.Q. tested and it seemed in science terms he was a genius.
Taku needed more attention to nuture this knowledge, without even realizing it, they started paying less and less attention to Naruto, at times they have even forgotten about him.
It was their third birthday that Naruto decided that his parents were saving their love for him for the future because that was the day they forgot Taku had a brother. Everything was set up for the big day, banners and streamers everywhere, on the banner said 'Happy 3rd Birthday'. And naturally Taku and Naruto decided that it was for the both of them, but after the guests had come over, present after present none came to Naruto, who sat in chair in the corner. His parents had asked him to move out of the picture. It was of Taku and all his wealth of gifts.
All Naruto did though was smile, look around, waiting for a present, hand out held. "What are you doing?" asked his dad, "waiting" said Naruto. "why?" "because my brother got presents, why shouldn't I?"
His father stared, eyes seeing red. "why you little ungrateful brat, Taku is a genius, what are you? Nothing, go to your room." He had whispered that harshly in his ear, making Naruto see tears.
He ran to his room that only consisted of a bed and a nightstand. He didn't have any toys because everything went to education Taku. He did though have a special friend, one that only he can see. His name is Kyuubi, he is a giant fox. They played all day in his room together, it was so much fun, Taku never visted him anymore, he was busy playing with his friends from the smart place.
When he got to his room, he jumped on the big boy bed and started bawling. 'big boys don't cry, they don't. I'm a big boy, thats why i have a big boy bed. maybe daddy was in a bad mood and tomorrow i will get presents, oh maybe it's a suprise.' His smile returned full force. "Kyuubi, today's my birthday, where are youuuuu?" The fox walked up to him and in his tail nestled a cup of ramen. "i brought you this, people have told me it tastes good even uncooked, go on take it" The tail was placed in Naruto's reach, and he grabbed it. "hmmm...m-m-mi-s-o. yum sounds delicious" He opened the cup and started picking out the noodles, "Yum, they are good, thanks so much Kyuubi, i love you" "i love you too kit."
As the night went on, they talked and ate and talked some more. Finally over exhausted they fell asleep together.
Next day
Naruto woke up with a start, but soon realized it was tomorrow, jumped up, and got dressed. He ran to the kitchen and held out his hands waiting. Everyone stared at him, "what are you doing?" "waiting" "for what?" "my suprise gift, because i didn't get any yesterday, so i know there are some today."
His dad stormed up, grabbed his wrist and yanked him up. "look you little shit, i told you yesterday you aren't going to get any because you're an ungrateful little brat." His eyes started to tear up, he was dropped and he ran to his mother. "mommy, where did you hide my gifts because i know they're around here some where." She calmly stood up, dragged Naruto to his room and walked in after.
"look sweety, we don't have any for you because you've been very bad, but heres a present for you though." She raised her hand and back handed him on the left cheek, then the right. six cuts were made, three on each cheek from the rings she wore. Naruto screamed as blood seeped out of the cuts. "shut-up, you don't want to disturb Taku or you'll regret it. Got it?" He nodded and she left.
Tears were streaming down his face into the cuts making them sting 'big boys don't cry, big boys don't cry' he kept repeating that to himself till he finally exhauted himself.
