Chapter 1 – Sasuke’s Salvation! You’re my family!

You might be thinking. Oh my god he’s starting another fic, that’s part of the Learning and Their Wedding series. Well I am. Mainly because Sasuke is ending up doing a bit too much behind the scenes and he needs his own fic now.

Now if only Sai was doing more. ><

Anyways I’m going to ask you guys this. Besides Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Rin, Kakashi, Gaara, and Rock Lee, who do you, want to see Sasuke paired up with if anyone,

Sasuke: And if you even joke about my brother I’ll torture you...

That day, it had been pouring down rain hard. As if the world itself was weeping that this battle had to happen.

It had ended almost exactly the same way as it had almost three years ago. The Black Chidori vs. the Kyuubi enhanced Rasengan. Naruto just couldn’t bring himself to use the Rasen-shuriken or his secret jutsu against Sasuke. And the outcome had been basically the same. The Rasengan lost to the Chidori. But this time was different. Sasuke had managed to also stab Naruto in the shoulder with his katana, while in the black sphere.

As they both fell to the ground, there advance forms dissipated. Sasuke’s Sharingan turning off. And they hit the ground with a resounding thud at the same time. But Sasuke got up quickly, and walked over to the body of Naruto. “Sa...su...ke.” Naruto sputtered out. And Sasuke stood triumphant over Naruto’s prone, bleeding form.

“Uzumaki...your attack was incorrect.” He said emotionlessly as he lifted the blade over his head and began to bring it down, with killing intent.

“SASUKE!” A feminine voice screamed out, as a Chakra enhanced flying jump kick, knocked the blade out of his hand. The bladed embedded into a tree before shattering. Sakura landed a distance away from Sasuke and spun to face him. The Cherry blossomed haired girl was panting heavily, a lot of her chakra wasted in earlier fights. [i]I have enough Chakra left for one attack and some decent healing...let’s hope its enough...[/i] She put her hands up in defense as Sasuke stared at her for a few seconds.

“Uchiha! You’re going down!” A normal dispassionate and reserved voice, screamed in anger and rage. Sasuke made the mistake of turning to face the voice. Sai twisted his body and leaped in the air, performing a butterfly kick, slamming his foot into his head. The Uchiha stumbled backwards, before two strong and pale as his, arms wrapped around his waist, forcing him to turn around.

A powerful palm meet with Sasuke’s chest, before two arms, as sturdy as wood, pulled his arms behind him. “And whether or not you like it...” Yamato was behind Sai leaving enough room for one more person to get in-between them.

And the ground in front of Sasuke opened up and a powerful uppercut was delivered. Kakashi grabbed Sasuke’s head, forcing it to look forward. “We are bringing you back!”

Sasuke, finally regaining his senses tried to shake them off. “No.”

“I need...I need Chakra...” A shaky voice said, and Naruto was standing on his feet shakily. The simple seal of the Ram formed. “Give me...GIVE ME CHAKRA!” He screamed out as not a blue or red aura surrounded him. It was orange. He began screaming as the chakra flared out powerfully, forcing his forehead protector off his head and unzipping his Jacket. “SASUKE!” He screamed as he ran towards Sasuke, throwing a punch with his good shoulder at the pale boy’s cheek. It connected and Naruto slid down Sasuke’s side and tried to restrain the legs of the powerful young man.

Sakura was staring at Naruto, tears flowing from her eyes because of the boys struggle. The Chakra concentrated in her right hand, the storm began started to end. With a cry she launched herself at Sasuke.

For Sasuke, time slowed down. Four raindrops hit the seal surrounding the Cursed Seal of Heaven, washing them away. And the last three raindrops of the storm hit his cursed seal. Each one washing away a single tomoe. Orochimaru had been killed. And Sasuke felt his mind freed from the rage, hatred, and vengeance it had been fueling. His body slaked a bit, and the three shinobis let go of their holds and jumped out of the way. Naruto’s grip released on the legs as the darkness from the blood loss began to slowly overtake him.

Sasuke lifted his head up and spread his arms out, a small smile on his face, a smile that he had when they were younger, “Thank you...” And with that Sakura punched him straight in the gut, sending him flying back a bit.

She kept running, wiping the tears from her eyes. She was sure she saw the old Sasuke. The Sasuke she knew and once loved. “Sasuke?” She said as she kneeled down and looked at the Uchiha, who was gasping for breath. Sai stood protectively behind Sakura hand on his sword just in case. Sasuke looked her in her emerald eyes and Sakura hugged him. In his onyx eyes she had saw. She saw emotions. Happiness. Pain. Suffering. Joy. Sorrow. Pride. Love. She didn’t see the rage or anger in them anymore.

Kakashi had his one visible eye closed in happiness. “Whew...for a minute there I thought I was going to have to use the Mangekyo Sharingan on him.”

“Sakura?”

“Yes, Sasuke?”

“Where’s the dobe at?”

And with that, everyone turned to Naruto’s form. A small puddle of blood forming from his shoulder. Sasuke pushed Sakura off him and limped towards Naruto and turned him around, holding him in his arms. “Dobe!?”

“Ne...Sasuke...don’t ca...ll me that.”

Sasuke lightly shook Naruto, unshed tears filling his eyes. “Nar...Naruto...?”

“Yeah?”

Sakura began to rush over to Naruto, Sai following close behind.

In front of Yamato and Kakashi Tsunade and Jiraiya stopped them from moving. “They can handle it.” Was Jiraiya’s words.

“We’ll be friends forever, right?” One tear escaped the boy.

“Of course, Sas...uke...Forever.” Naruto muttered out as he closed his eyes. “Tired...need...sleep”

“NO!” Sasuke shook the demon carrier again. “Sleeping is bad Naruto! Don’t go to sleep! PLEASE!” He began to whisper, “Please, don’t leave me...” The next part was barely audible even to himself. “Brother...”

Sasuke felt his grip released from Naruto as Sakura grabbed one of his hands and put it on top of hers, than Sai’s hand went on top of his followed by Sakura, his own, and than Sai’s again. “I need more chakra to help him.” She explained solemnly as the green chakra aura covered each of them. Naruto’s wound began to slowly heal. Than Sai passed out, followed by Sasuke, and finally Sakura. The last thing Sasuke saw was wound completely closed and Naruto’s breathe returning to normal.

And Sasuke woke up with in a cold sweat. It was just a dream, no it was his nightmare. “So many years ago.” He said to himself as he ran a hand through his jet black hair, the hand returning to the blanket. “And...And I almost killed him...” He laid his head back on the pillow, and spent a restless night thinking.
