Disclaimer: I do not own naruto, or any of the other numerous charectors of said anime/manga. Masashi Kishimoto does though.
It all goes back to that first kiss that they shared, however accidental it was. That was the biggining of his problem as far as he could see it. Of course the easy way to deal with his problem would be to swallow his pride and just tell him how he felt about him. But he was Sasuke Uchiha and he swollowed his pride for nobody or anything, no matter what the reason!
It'd been a few years since they were put on a team together and ever since then his mind would say one thing and his mouth would say another.
'I wish that dobe would figure out why I'm always turning down Sakura and the rest of those fan girls. He's got to notice the way I stare at him. Than again, he IS a dobe...'
"Hey, Sasuke-kun, want to go out with me?" Sakura asked.
"No. why don't you ever take the hint that I dont want to date you sakura?"
"Because I love you Sasuke-kun!" she replied, rather hastily.
While this daily exchange was going on, Naruto was laughing at sakura being turned down, yet again. He had given up on asking her for a date about 8 months ago, which shocked every one at first. Sauske of course was exstatic, but his ego got the best of him (as always) and said nothing. 'Heh, now he's going to goad me into a fight, and of course ill act unintersted, but at least it gives me an exuse to touch him and be close to him.'
"Hey, teme, fight me!" Naruto yelled.
"No."'Here it comes...'
"What, afraid I'll whoop your ass?"
--20 minutes later--
as usual, Sasuke beat Naruto in their spar, with sakura watching and then praising sasuke for his skill and his coolness. This time, unlike any of the others, he offered to help Naruto up. Naruto was shocked, to say the least, but accepted his hand regardless. Then another unprecidented thing occured, Sasuke complimented him. both Sakura and Naruto were shocked, and Sakura voiced it.
"What do you mean that was fun? He's not even worth your time Sasuke-kun!' she whined.
"He can beat YOU, cant he? So I guess you'd be a waste of my time, huh?" Sasuke replied with a smirk "besides, this was a warm up spar." with that said, Sakura started to cry and took off running, not wanting Sasuke to see her as weak.
"Hey, Sasuke, don't you think you were a little hard on her?" Naruto asked.
"Hn. Fight me, and don't hold back this time, Naruto."
Naruto just sighed and slipped into a fighting stance, knowing that he could either participate willingly or unwillingly.
They both shot off twords the other, engaging in taijutsu combat. Sauske through the first punch, which Naruto dodged and tried to knee Sasuke in the stomach, but it was blocked. Sasuke then delivered a palm strike to his chest sending him back a few feet. He used this time to go through some hand seals and yelled "Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu" sending a giant fireball at Naruto.
He dodged the fireball and made some seals of his own and then called out his technique, "Katon: enkou supia no jutsu" and then he pointed his hand at sasuke.
'Whats that dobe doing now?' he wondered and then his eyes widened when he saw a spear of fire coming at him from Narutos hand. He barely managed to dodge it by dropping to the ground on his back. before he had a chance to get up he heard Naruto say "Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu" and then found that his hands and feet were submerged in the ground. at this he blushed, knowing that if Naruto wanted he could be ravished, but he knew that Naruto only had eyes for their pink haired team mate.
"Heh, looks like I win this time, eh Sasuke?" was the rhetorical question asked by Naruto who had on his over the top, cheesey fox grin.
"Oh, shut up and get me out of the ground."
"Fine, fine" Naruto replied, walking slowly and getting him out of the ground. They then both went their seperate ways, Sasuke to the Uchiha compound and Naruto to get some ramen. when Sasuke got to his place, all he could do was wonder why he didn't go and get ramen with Naruto, regardless of the fact that he's not big on the salty stuff himself.
at the moment he was thinking about how he was going to get Naruto to either say that he liked him, or at the verry least sleep with him. and thats when the idea hit him, he'd use the sexy jutsu...or better yet, henge into Sakura!

Katon: enkou supia no jutsu - fire release: flame spear technique. the user of this technique focuses the chakra to their hand instead of their lungs or mouth, effectively creating a spear like flame from their hand. mine.)
