Chapter 1: Naruto is Home:

Naruto looks over Konhala. It is a sight he hasn't seen in 4 years. For the last 4 years he has been hunting down the Asituki. It had been Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Yamato-sensei, and Juriya-sama. Sai was killed 3 years ago Yamato-sensei was killed a year ago, and soon after Sakura had to return to the village because Tsunade asked her to come back to teach a ninja medical school, since Sakura was at the same level as her now. For the past year it had just been him and Juriya. He had missed everyone a lot and couldn't wait to see them again. He wanted to see Sakura the most at the moment though. He has finally returned.

Hey Naruto, you keep daydreaming like that and we'll never get back.

Sorry, I couldn't help but look over the village since we have been away for a long time. I wonder how everyone is doing? Well I'll have a lot of stories to tell about the last year. Especially that time when we got run out of a town in the Water Country for your hobby research, and there are many more great ones.

Well, yea, that was kind of bad, but hey, we got out of it ok, didn't we?

Two guards stare off from the main gate to see two people walking towards them.

Halt, you two, state your name and your business in this village!

Wow Juriya, these guards sure are stupid, they don't even know one of the legendary Sanin, and who could forget, the future Hokage ,Unizume Naruto.

Well, you never change.

Hey set the alarm, these two are after the Hokage!!!!

What!!!

Great, now look what you've done, now the guards think we're enemy shinobi!

Sorry, didn't know these guards were this stupid!

Kill them now!!!!

5 guards attack on all sides. Naruto creates 5 clones; the clones jump in the air and each throw a kunai with a seal tag on each. Each one rips one guys sleeve pinning them to the ground.

Why can't we move? What has happened to us?

That's one of my techniques I learned from my battles with the Astuki. They may have a lot of killing techniques , but not all of them are. That body seal tag really works great!

Suddenly a ninja in a green suit with fuzzy eyebrows comes with a kick at his face out of nowhere. Naruto immediately blocks it.

Wow Lee, you sure have improved.

Naruto, is that you?

Yea it's me.

Then what was the alarm for?

Well, these guards went stupid and attacked us for no reason, and sounded the alarm.

Well that's partly your fault Naruto, of course a lot does have to do with how stupid they were.

Shut up old hermit! Let's just go see Tsunade-sama already.

Well let me lead the way.

Thx, Lee, but we got it, How about we meet up later tonight with everyone.

Naruto and Juriya jump into the Hokage office threw the window....SMACK...Naruto ducks just in time but Juriya gets hit and flies into a wall on the other side of the room.

Can't you two use the door like normal people!

Sorry Tsunade, plz, don't hit me, I'm really sorry.

She embraces him tightly.

It's been a long time. You are like a son to me; it's nice to see you again.

There is a knock at the door.

The door opens; standing there is a girl with short pink hair.

Hi, Sakura-chan!

Na...ru...to... NARUTO, YOU JERK!!!!! SMACK!!!

Naruto goes flying across the room. Sakura runs after him.

YOU JERK! NOT A SINGLE LETTER FROM YOU! YOU HAVEN"T TALKED TO ME OR WROTE ME IN ONE FUCKING YEAR. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST PRICK I KNOW. YOU...IDI...OT.. I MISSED YOU!

Sakura cries it all out into Naruto's chest. Crying more than she has in her entire life, now realizing, it wasn't Sauske that she loved now but a whiny, cocky, blond haired brat, named, Naruto. The future hokage of the Hidden Leaf.

Naruto looks down at her, he hasn't felt this bad in his entire life. He has never been so ashamed. Here was the girl he loved, and he hadn't tried to talk or write her in a year. There was no excuse.

I'm sorry Sakura-chan. I won't do this again, and I will never leave you. You are the most important thing in my life.

And you're mine too.

Sorry to interrupt, but we have to go over the mission, but let me and Juriya do the briefing and the paperwork for now, You two should go. Why don't you take Sakura home today Naruto. She has finished today's duties, so take her home, and you two can catch up and fill each other in on yourselves about the past year.

Are you sure, sensei, I still have a little bit of paperwork to do.

I said go home. So get out of here right now or I'll put you on temporary house arrest.

Naruto and Sakura walk up to her front door of her apartment.

Well this is it.

Wow, Sakura-chan, you live on your own now?

Have been for a while now.

They walk in the door. They are in the living room, which is the dinning room on the left side, which has a small wooden table with two chairs. The living room has a sofa and a recliner, which are both velvet red.

I'm really tired right now so I'm going to go to bed. You can take the guest bedroom. We'll talk later after some rest.

Sakura-chan, I promised I would go see everyone tonight, I was hoping you would come though.

(Sakura thinking): I was planning on watching a movie and eating dinner with Naruto tonight, just the two of us. (Inward Sakura): So you could do this and that with him afterwards!

NARUTO YOU REALLY ARE A JERK!

Sakura runs straight down the hall to her room and slams the door behind her crying.

That's twice I made her cry in the same day. I really am a jerk. I'm just going to go lay down so I can think on how to handle this.

Naruto walks down the pink hall and opens the guest room door on the left. He walks in and sees a pink room, with a four-poster bed in the middle with an oak wooded nightstand with a glass table lamp on top. He takes his gear and shirt off and gets in the bed. He shortly falls asleep.

Naruto wakes up suddenly and realizes there is someone laying next to him with their arm around him. He turns around and sees Sakura.

Sakura?

I 'm sorry Naruto about earlier. I was selfish, it wouldn't be right to take you away from everyone else on your first day back.

Sa..ku..ra.-cahn, I sorry.

Well we better get going Naruto or we're going to be late. Don't take me being in your bed the wrong way. I just felt sorry, that's all.

She gets out of the bed and heads for the door.

Sakura-chan, you're so mean!

Sakura smiles to herself and walks out.
