Chapter 1
Maxwell Maxus Hatake

Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were on their way to meet Kakashi at their usual training spot. “Why do we always have to come out here everyday if we know he’s going to be late.”

“Naruto has a point everyday we wait in the same spot for at least an hour.”

They made it to the training grounds but to their surprise Kakashi was already there tapping his foot on the ground as though he was waiting. Naruto’s eyes went big and his jaw dropped.

“There is no way in hell he can be here this early!!!”

“Maybe it’s a shadow clone trying to buy some time.”

Naruto walks up to Kakashi and pokes him in the stomach.

“Hm, it seems real.” Naruto then did something he was going to regret he punched Kakashi in the stomach then the shinobi appeared behind Naruto and ducked down.

“Leaf Village secret finger Jutsu, A Thousand Years of Death!”

“AAHH!!” Naruto flew in the air and landed on the ground face first.

“Idiot.” After training and apologizing to Kakashi the gang was about to leave until Kakashi stopped them.

“Hold on were not done yet you still have 2 more hours.”

“Ah.” The team groaned in frustration.

“Hahahaha.” Kakashi and the team looked around trying to find the source of the laughter.

“I see you’re still torturing your students as always father.”

“Father……. Kakashi-Sensei is there something you want to tell us.”

“Now is not the time to ask me such personal questions!”

Sasuke looked at Kakashi with a strange look seeing the worry in his eyes.

“We never asked anything personal.” Sasuke said with a smirk.

“I don’t have time for this just hide.”

“Why?”

“Just do as I say!” Without anymore argument the team hid in the trees keeping their eyes on Kakashi who activated his Sharingan eye and started looking around.

“I see you’re trying your best to find me father.”

“Come on out and fight Maxwell.”

“Hahahaha, I thought ninjas were supposed to stick to the shadows.” Kakashi growled then started laughing.

“Well as you can see its broad day light ad I’m pretty sure you came here for a fight unless you’re too scared of your old man taking you down.”

Kakashi could hear a low growl. “Come on if you think you have the guts.”

Just then a cloud of smoke surrounded Kakashi then the wind blew it away but there was a person standing behind Kakashi. He had a black trench coat that stopped at his calf’s he had shiny black dress shoes that reflected the suns rays, he had on black dress pants that looked like they just got of the cleaners, a Jounin vest unlike Kakashi his was black, and he had it open showing off his muscles and tan skin, he had black sunglasses that were so tinted you couldn’t see his eyes and he had a leaf village headband on his forehead, his hair was a cross between Kakashi’s and Naruto’s hair it was spiked up Naruto’s but was silvery and a little longer. He carried nine katanas all strapped to his back in a circle by a leather sword case and a black buster sword the same size as Zabuza’a blade. Sakura went googled eyes.

“He looks awesome and he’s so hot!!” Sasuke sat there trying to ignore the pink-head. Naruto couldn’t take his eyes off of this entity that stood before them.

“Naruto………Naruto.” Naruto finally snapped out of his daydreaming and turned around to see what the raven hair boy had to say.

“Who do you think is going to win?”

“I don’t know.”

“How about we wager.”

“How much?”

“50 dollars.”

“Okay then your on, so who are you betting?”

“Kakashi of course I mean think about it the copycat ninja against his son.”

“I’m betting on the other guy.”

“You sure you want to do that Naruto you might as well just give me your money now.”

Naruto looked at Sasuke and let out a low growl then looked back at the fight that was about to happen.

“Well I see you improved on speed.”

“Haha, if only you knew.”

“Well then shall we start?”

“Make your move.”

“Gladly.”

Kakashi went for a leg sweep but Maxwell jumped in the air and flew towards Kakashi with a spinning heel kick Kakashi easily dodged it and went for a haymaker punch aiming for his stomach but Maxwell caught his fist in mid-air and balanced all his weight on Kakashi’s arm and went for a drop kick this caught Kakashi by surprise but he managed to duck down and barely dodge it Maxwell was a about to fall to the ground until he caught himself balancing on one arm he then went for a capoiera spin kick and hit Kakashi square in the chest and launched him back a couple of feet, Maxwell bounce with his arm back to his feet smiling. Sasuke sat there surprised in aw.

“He’s good.”

“Ha see you underestimate people too much Sasuke.”

“Whatever I’m sure Kakashi is about to turn this fight around I know he has a trick up his sleeve.”

“I knew you going to root for Kakashi anyway Sasuke.”

Sasuke looked at Naruto with surprise Sakura went to another tree to get a better view of the fight and get away from the two rivals.

“I heard from a little birdie that you and Kakashi how can I say tied the knot and knock the boots.” Sasuke let out a growl then smirked.

“Well at least I got what I wanted besides you, trying to impress Shino, or pushing up on Neji, you’ll never find what you are looking for, because no one loves you.”

Those words sent Naruto into a rage as he tackled Sasuke to the ground out of the tree Maxwell took his attention off of Kakashi to see what was going on.

“What the hell, what are they do-“ Maxwell was interrupted by a spinning roundhouse kick to his chest which sent flying into a nearby tree. Naruto heard the impact and looked to see Maxwell against a tree Sasuke took advantage of this a tried to attack Naruto from behind but was stopped by three shurikens thrown in front of him. Naruto ran towards Maxwell to see if he was still breathing.

“You alright.”

“Yeah I’ll live.”

“Let me help you up.”

“Thank you.” Naruto stood up with Maxwell who was still trying to catch his breath he then grabbed his chest and hissed in pain.

“What’s wrong that shouldn’t of hurt you at all, I know Kakashi is strong but not in physical strength.”

“No that’s where you’re wrong.” Maxwell pointed at Kakashi and Sasuke both of them with their Sharingan eye activated Naruto looked at them and then looked back at Maxwell in confusion.

“What do you mean?”

“When Kakashi activates his Sharingan eye he doesn’t just copy moves and use them, his strength increases ten fold that goes for anyone with the Sharingan eye including me.”

Naruto’s eyes widened. “Wait so you have the Sharingan eye too.”

“Yes.”

“Well can you take off those shades.” Maxwell reached and removed to the tinted shades to show off his deep blue pools, Naruto looked in surprise.

‘He has the same color eyes as me.’ Naruto looked in his blue eyes and looked confused.

“Where is your Sharingan eye?”

“I have to activate it like your friend over there but I only have it in one eye.”

“Which one?”

“The same one as my father.”

“Whoa that’s cool.” Maxwell looks over at Kakashi and Sasuke and sees them talking hugging Naruto looked too.

‘Sasuke you son of a bitch trying to get me jealous.’ Maxwell shouted over to the two Sharingan wielders.

“Aye enough kiss and make up I’m not done with you yet father and I see my friend…………..what’s your name?”

“Naruto Uzumaki.”

“Thank you, my friend Naruto here has a problem with raven head over there so why don’t we continue this as a team battle.”

“Sure but with a couple of stipulations.”

“State them.”

“Both teams must wager 100 dollars.”

“Yes and.” Kakashi took off his bottom mask to reveal his face with a smirk.

“You are not allowed to use any of those swords on your back.”

Maxwell let out a loud growl. “Alright whatever.” Naruto looked Maxwell telling he was truly and really angry.

“What’s wrong?”

“I can’t use any of my swords.”

“Don’t worry we can still beat them.”

“I’m sure we can.” ‘Damn you father can’t use my fucking swords……Goddammit.’

“LOOK OUT!!!” Maxwell snapped his head forward just in time to see Sasuke and Kakashi one foot away about to hit him with twin Lightning Blades, Maxwell barely dodge it and was about to reach for one of his swords until Naruto stopped him and grabbed his hand.

“No, remember you can’t use you swords.”

“Thank you for reminding me.”

“Aye I never got your name.”

“It's Maxwell Hatake.”

“Alright now let’s kick some ass.” They both heard a loud thud as the tree Maxwell was standing in front of fell Kakashi and Sasuke were sitting there laughing.

“Oh so you think you’re bad just because you knocked down a tree!”

Maxwell reached inside his trench coat and pulled out two black gloves one with red inscriptions and one with white inscriptions he then puts them on and activates his Sharingan eye and walks over to nearby tree.

“Naruto you may want to move back.” Naruto moved over, Maxwell reared back and punched the tree and sent it flying Kakashi’s, Sasuke’s, and Naruto’s jaw dropped, Maxwell turned around and smiled.

“Now let’s get this started.”

After 3 hours of fighting, chakra wielding, and explosions the fight was over except they had attracted the whole village, Naruto jumped and cheered.

“Yeah we won I knew we were gonna win believe it.”

Maxwell lifted Naruto up on his shoulders and started turning around throwing his hands in the air to the village people who were applauding, Kakashi and Sasuke walked up to them and gave them their money Kakashi smiled.

“Quick thinking Maxwell next time it won’t happen again.”

Kakashi and Sasuke left well, Kakashi had to carry Sasuke seeing as how his chakra was low before Kakashi left out of sight he turned around and shouted to Maxwell.

“Welcome back.”

“It’s good to be back.” Maxwell put Naruto down and shook hands with him and was about to walk off.

“Wait!” Maxwell turned around to see what the blonde had to say.

“Shouldn’t we go and celebrate?”

“Well I guess so, but where are going to go?”

“To the Ichiraku restaurant.”

“Okay let’s go.”

They both left for the restaurant they sat there talking eating just having a good time then left it was night time in Konoha village, Naruto and Maxwell were walking through the streets the village still had a little life in it at night.

“Do you still live in Konoha?”

“Yeah I just been gone for a year training, where do you live?”

Naruto let out a sigh. “With Sasuke and Kakashi.”

“Why?”

“Because someone kept trying to kill me so they moved me in with them except I barely get enough sleep because of those two love birds moaning and groaning all night.”

Maxwell starts laughing. “Well that’s never a good way to start your day off.”

Naruto smirks and joins the laughter. “Well why don’t you move out?”

The blondes face filled with sadness. “I tried but…….. no one accepted me, even after all the things I have done for the village I still get turned away.”

Maxwell patted Naruto on the shoulder and turned Naruto around to face him. “Why not move in with me?”

Naruto came back to life. “Are you sure?”

“Yeah why not besides I’ve never had a roommate.”

“Well I don’t know, could you give me some time to think about it?”

Maxwell smiles and pats Naruto on the shoulder again. “Yeah, you’ve got all the time in the world.”

They both left the streets and head to their apartments, Naruto walked to Maxwell’s apartment to see the general area that he lives in before Maxwell walked inside his apartment Naruto grabbed his arm, Maxwell turned around to see what the blonde had to say.

“What are you doing tomorrow?”

“Nothing special, why?”

“I was wondering if we can you know hang out or something.” Naruto said rubbing the back of his head trying to hide the blush appearing on his face, Maxwell smiled.

“Sure, I’ve nothing else good to do.”

“Well I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“See ya, oh but before you go if you get lost looking for my apartment just remember this I can see just about all of Konoha from window it’s a beautiful, see ya tomorrow.”

Maxwell went inside his apartment and close the door. Naruto left for his apartment knowing that he’s not going to get any sleep. Naruto got to the apartment and walked in, went to his room, kicked off his shoes and laid down.

“Finally this day is over I can’t wait for tomorrow.” Naruto took off his orange and black vest and laid down.

“Naruto.”

“Huh what is it Kyuubi?”

“You know what it is.”

“No I don’t.”

“Does Maxwell Hatake ring a bell?” Naruto blushed at the comment.

“What does he have to do with me?”

“Seeing as how your body temperature rises whenever you look at him, or you’re close to him, I say you have the hots for him.”

“I don’t know Kyuubi, I don’t know if he likes me and I’m scared to ask.”

“Well you shouldn’t be.”

“Why?”

“I know something you don’t.”

“What is it tell me.”

“I can read thoughts and Maxwell like you a lot.”

“Really?”

“Yes really.” Naruto’s face turned crimson.

“Maybe I should move in with him.”

“That’s a good idea because any longer with Adam and Steve I’m going to kill them.”

“Yeah I’ll tell him tomorrow Goodnight Kyuubi.”

“Goodnight Naruto.”

Naruto was lying down sleep when someone entered the room Kyuubi woke up and sense the person’s chakra, it was massive.

‘Naruto wake up, wake up.’

“Just five more minutes.” Naruto said as he turned around facing the ceiling.

“Still asleep, good.” The person came on to the bad and sat on top of Naruto causing him to moan and wake up.

“What the…..” Naruto turned on his lamp and started panicking.

“Hello Naruto.”

“Sasuke what are you doing get off me!”

“You’re not in the position to make demands.” Naruto looked in Sasuke’s eyes and saw that it wasn’t Sasuke anymore he notice black scars over Sasuke’s face and arms and they kept growing.

‘Naruto you have to get out of here!’

‘But where will I go no one is going to help me.’

‘Go find Maxwell.’

‘Okay.’

“What’s wrong cat got you ton-“ Naruto kicked Sasuke in the air and watched slide across the floor, Naruto grabbed his vest, opened the window and leaped out and started jumping from roof to roof thinking he was in the clear.

‘Watch out!!!’

10 kunai flew towards Naruto two got stuck in his left leg, one in his right arm, and one in his chest, Naruto screamed in pain but kept going without turning back soon after shurikens were flying past him, he looked back to see Sasuke with a sadistic smile throwing shurikens every which way.

‘Naruto you have to hit the streets you should be able to lose him just make sure to hide your chakra.’

Naruto turned around and throw a kunai at Sasuke, but he caught it but it had smoke paper on it so it exploded in a cloud of smoke, when Sasuke got out of the smoke he stayed on the roof looking but couldn’t find the blonde so he left back to his apartment. Naruto came out of the alley covered in a black cloak.

“I have to find Maxwell quick.” Naruto started walking until he recognized the area.

“Damn, which apartment is it I forgot.” Naruto started looking outside the complex to find Maxwell’s window.

“Here it is he said he could see Konoha from his window.”

Naruto leaped up to the window and got in silently he started tiptoeing around until someone grabbed his arm put it behind him and a cold long piece of steel was place over his throat, Naruto started crying.

“Please don’t kill me Sasuke.” Just then the light was turned on.

“Naruto what in hell are you doing here.” Maxwell let go of him and put down his sword Naruto hugged the silver haired shinobi and buried his face in Maxwell’s chest, tears running down his face.

“Naruto what’s wrong?” Maxwell grabbed one of Naruto’s arms and noticed it was bleeding then he saw the kunai stuck in his arm, then the two stuck in his leg, and the one stuck in his chest.

“Naruto we have to get you patch up!”

“Just don’t send me back…………….out…………..th-“

Naruto passed out in Maxwell’s arms. “Who could have done this?”

[ 3 Hours Later ]

Naruto jumped up screaming, Maxwell came over to bed to quiet him down, the blonde hugged Maxwell yet again but shaking and shivering violently, the silver haired shinobi sat down on the bed with Naruto still latched to him arm, leg, and chest bandaged up.

“Naruto what happened to you last night you had a kunai stuck in your chest, one in your right arm, and two in your left leg.” Naruto hugged Maxwell even tighter and started shaking worse than before.

‘Something bad must have happened, I’ve never seen anyone this terrified.’

“I…….. was attacked.” Naruto could feel Maxwell’s body heat up as though he was about to explode.

“Who attacked you?!” Naruto started sobbing and clenched Maxwell even tighter.

“S-Sasuke, but it wasn’t him.”

“You just said it was Sasuke now who is Sasuke?”

“Remember the fight we had today it was the boy you called raven head, but it wasn’t him.”

“Naruto what are talking about was it him or was it not?”

“Ok, it was him physically but not mentally, that curse mark that’s on his neck took over again.”

“So he’s the one I heard while I was gone, news spread that Orichimaru attacked Konoha and put the mark on his neck, well what happened to you I need every detail.” They sat there for an hour Naruto telling Maxwell everything what happened.

“Well you can stay here until things cool down, you need to get some rest your body is still weak from the blood loss.”

“Did you get any sleep?”

“I was about to go to sleep until you came through the window, I’ll just stay awake until you wake up.”

“But this is your bed besides it's my fault you didn’t get any sleep.”

“Don’t worry I’ll be okay.”

“No please.” Maxwell stopped and turned around.

“What’s wrong?”

“I don’t wanna be alone, can you……..uh.” Naruto turned his face hiding his blush Maxwell moved over to Naruto.

“What is it Naruto?”

“Could you………sleep in the bed with me, I’m still scared he might find me.”

“Okay.”

Maxwell took off his vest seeing as how he was already in his black pajama pants he went to the other side of the bed and laid down. A few minutes Maxwell was asleep lightly snoring, Naruto sat there and watched him sleep he moved over to Maxwell and placed his head over his chest hearing Maxwell’s heartbeat and breathing pattern.

‘He sleeps so peacefully.’

Naruto stayed like that for a couple minutes until he fell asleep head on Maxwell’s chest. About 15 hours later Maxwell woke up yawning and groaning he looked to the side of him and didn’t see Naruto he sat up quickly but laid back down when he realized that Naruto had his head on his chest laying between his legs sleep Maxwell’s face turned crimson as he started rubbing through Naruto’s hair.

‘No Maxwell you can’t remember what the fortune teller told you, she told you who you are destined to fall in love with, but Naruto I wish I could tell him how I feel about him but I’ve known him for one day but it feels like I’ve not him all my life but, knowing Miranda she will call it forbidden love I can’t go against her fortune.’

Maxwell kissed Naruto’s forehead which caused him to wake up, the blonde got up yawning loudly, rubbing his eyes trying to get his vision back. Naruto sat up to find himself laying on Maxwell he jumped to the other side of the bed.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

“No worries, you hungry?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay then wait here.”

Maxwell made his way to the kitchen when to the cabinet and pulled out two cups of instant ramen.

‘He’s so cute when he’s sleep but I have to keep in mind what Miranda told me, *sighs* why me?’

Meanwhile back in Maxwell’s room. ‘Kyuubi how did I get on top of him?!’

‘First you put your head on his chest then fell asleep then you started moving and that’s how you got there.’

‘Kyuubi you’re not helping!!!’

‘What are you worried about.’

‘What if he doesn’t like me or he’s straight.’

‘When you were asleep he kissed you on forehead and said something about a fortune teller telling him about something, I think he loves you but is just to afraid to tell you.’

‘Really?’

‘I can read peoples thoughts trust me I know but there is also conflict going on inside.’

‘What do you mean?’

‘Well he loves you but the fortune teller I was telling you about told him he was destined to fall in love with someone else.’

Naruto put his down and his face saddened.

‘Naruto what’s wrong?’

‘I don’t won’t to interfere with his life if it's a risk he has to take.’

‘Naruto how do you think he feels right now, he doesn’t want to go against the fortune teller’s words, but he doesn’t want to lose you.’

‘*sighs* ok I get it.’

‘Don’t worry I think he can make the right decision, but, you still may want to tell him how you feel.’

‘Okay Kyuubi.’

Maxwell came in the room walked over to the bed and handed Naruto his ramen cup and chopsticks, Maxwell sits down in a chair sitting next to the bed and they both ate their ramen in silence when they were done Maxwell threw the empty cups away.

“Um….Maxwell.”

“Yes Naruto.”

“Um…..”

‘Go ahead Naruto tell him, ask him.”

“What do you use those swords for?”

‘Naruto what the hell!!!”

“Well when I left Konoha for training I went to 10 different cities on the other side of the continent, each with their own unique martial arts, the weird thing is that all the cities used katanas in their fighting style but each style had a different element they used for the katana.”

“What were the elements?”

“Fire, Wind, Light, Darkness, Lightning, Earth, Water, Ice, and Thunder.”

“If there are nine elements they why do you have 10 swords?”

“Because that last sword was given to me from the last city with every element infused in it, that’s also the same place where I talked to a fortune teller, oh you wouldn’t want to hear about it.”

Naruto eyes widened. ‘Hold on the fortune teller Kyuubi told me about this.’

“Oh no, go ahead I would like to hear about it.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay, well in the last city before I left the elder told me to go see a fortune teller named Miranda, she live in the mountains in a cave, when I got there she told me.”

‘Aye Naruto he’s getting nervous I think he’s about to tell you what needs to be said.’

Maxwell paused and sat on the bed next to Naruto. “Well what did she say?”

“She said I would fall in love with the person who carries the nine tailed fox.”

Naruto started blushing, Maxwell joined him but turned his head and started sobbing.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’ve been searching so long to find this but, I’ve failed I got a lead that this person lives in Konoha that’s why I cam back, but, I’m scared.”

“Scared of what?”

“Scared of my fortune coming true, and not coming true, whoever this person is I would like to meet them and get to know them but……”

“But what?”

Maxwell looked in Naruto’s eyes and hugged him. “I…….I…… love you.”

Naruto eyes widened as he hugged Maxwell closer. “And I know why you love me.”

Maxwell looked in Naruto’s eyes again but turned away when he started blushing. “Why?”

“Because I am the nine tailed fox Naruto Uzumaki.”

Maxwell lifted up his head and kiss the blonde, Naruto kissed back, both of their tongues fighting over dominance eventually Maxwell won. Naruto broke the kiss to catch his breath. Maxwell his forehead on Naruto’s and started smiling.

“You know this is kinda Ironic……..” Maxwell kissed Naruto on the lips.

“The fortune teller told me…..” He kissed Naruto again. “That the one I was destined to fall in love with……..” Maxwell moved down Naruto’s neck kissing and licking his collar bone which caused Naruto to moan.

“Would be right under my nose.” Maxwell said whispering in Naruto’s ear sending a shiver down his spine, the blonde wraps his arms around Maxwell’s neck as the silver haired shinobi hugs Naruto around his waist they both fall to the bed laying there still hugging each other looking in each others eyes smiling, talking, telling everything they knew about themselves, they wrestled in the bed until they tired themselves out Naruto was laying between Maxwell’s legs head on his chest moving his fingers over Maxwell’s soft, milky, tan skin.

“You’re not going to sleep are you?” Maxwell said as he looked down at Naruto, the blonde moved up and kissed Maxwell.

“Not before you do.” Maxwell smiled and rubbed through Naruto’s spiked hair. About 5 minutes later both of them were sleeping soundly. Two men were standing on the roof watching Maxwell and Naruto sleep.

“He’s back.”

“Should we report this to the Hokage?”

“Yes I’m pretty sure she would be happy to see him.”

“Which mission do you think she’s going to give him?”

“Who knows.” The two men disappeared from the rooftops.
