Elie watched the cold hearted murder, from a distance, in the trees, as he walked away from the disaster he created. She knew for a fact that going up against him would mean her death, as she watched him walk past her in her hiding spot above him. Elie didn’t care much for the village she descended from, for she was what you would call street trash, never having a family for as long as she could remember. Stealing was a thing she had perfected over the years when it can to food.

She stared at the figure from above, practically begging him to notice her. Elie made her mind up. She was going to go with this man wither he liked it or not. He was going to teach her! Teach her how to punish everyone who was ever cruel to her, though they all lay dead in the streets, the man was walking away from. She didn’t care; she wanted revenge all the same. She wished to become a ninja, but meant money was needed; which she didn’t have.

She continued to stare at the figure walking away slowly. She gritted her teeth in annoyance as he continued to walk away. I know he knows I’m here! She thought furiously, as she grabbed a rock from one of pockets of her tattered and worn clothes. She aimed the rock as she pulled back her arm throwing it with all the force she could muster. Hit the spot! She yelled within her mind. The rock continued down to where the mysterious man walked. The rock was coming straight for his head, but within a second of impact he tilted his head to the side as the small rock whizzed past his face by inches landing on the ground with a thud.

Elie wasn’t surprised by his dodge but was more surprised by her aim. She pushed her thoughts aside as she continued staring down at the man trying to stare a hole through till he noticed her. She gasped as he disappeared. Elie froze feeling the presence behind her. Now that she got his attention she wasn’t sure if she wanted it or not now. She felt a sharp tip against her neck where she kneeled.

“Stand up.” The voice commanded, sending shivers through her body. She stood, the point of the sharp object still aimed at her neck. She refused the fear the coursed through her body show, waiting for his next command. “Turn around.” The voice commanded once again.

She did as she was told. Turning around slowly as excitement filled her. She was finally she looked up into the face of a cold blooded murder, masking her shock as she mentally gasped. She looked up into his emotionless face both were looking at each other with their emotionless faces. Finally Elie smirked, breaking the emotionless act.

“Itachi-sama.” Elie stated, though she was shocked. She felt the tip of what she expected was a kunai knife touch her throat. She stared into his red sharingan eyes. A determined look in her right eye, as the left one was covered by a tattered cloth. She felt the kunai knife lift her chin as the older Uchiha stared emotionlessly down at her. He took the knife and in a swift movement slashed the tattered cloth from Elie’s face. She didn’t blink once, not letting her surprise show through. The cloth fell silently to the tree branch they stood upon soundly.

Elie’s left eye remained shut, not revealing its contents. The knife returned itself to Elie’s throat wordlessly telling her to open it. She didn’t dare, but when she felt the kunai knife slide underneath her chin gently, she thought about reconsidering. A tiny trickle of blood ran down the kunai knife and dropped to the branch below them breaking the silence.

“Open it.” He commanded. She looked at him defiantly with her right eye, but slowly opened it no less. She couldn’t tell if what he saw surprised him or not through his emotionless face.

“Do you wish to kill me, little one?” he asked simply while staring at Elie’s undeveloped sharingan eye.

“No.” Elie replied simply back, staring into his. She hoped beyond hope that he would take her with him. He has a curious aurora around him, Elie thought blankly, memorizing his aurora.

“Then what are your intentions?” He asked.

“I wish for you to teach me, and for me to come with you.” Elie answered.

Elie continued to glare into his eyes, and gasped as they changed suddenly. She found herself in a world, with nothing but black, white and red. She was in the middle of town, her town. She watched as bodies fell all around her, bloody and died. Cold excitement filled her veins, as she watched everyone she hated fall to their death, by the hands of Itachi-sama. Elie smile pure excitement filling her veins. She walked through the town an evil gleam in her eyes as she watched as they all continue to fall. Let them all die, she thought evilly. In a blink of an eye, the scene changed; Elie stood in a clearing, a none existent wind blew, blowing the grass. The place… it seemed familiar… like a distant memory of some sort, one of her own. Elie started blankly at the scene before for. That was when she heard rustling behind her. She turned watching as a small girl, running away from something, or someone. The girl ran straight past Elie, and Elie froze, livid. It was herself, when she was younger. Elie’s eyes widened as she heard herself trip, and try scrambling to her feet. Then she heard it; a man, chasing after her younger self. Elie was paralyzed with fear as she saw the man run through the bushes, where her younger self appeared. The man continued ran at the girl, who was still trying to regain her footing, though stumbled and fell, Elie, snapped out of it as the man ran straight through her, she turned around and watched as the man hovered over the small girl, grabbing her by her upper arm, and yanking her to her feet. The girl screamed a horrible scream as her shoulder was pulled out of its socket. Cold numb pain, filled Elie’s body, she fill the pain as she watched wide eyed at the scene unfolding before her. Elie clasped her shoulder, which was now immobile to her, as she clasped to her knees her ankle, feeling as though it was broken. She watched the man aim a punch into the stomach of her younger self. Elie keeled over gasping; lying on the ground. Eyes still wide as she felt the punch to her stomach. She blinked, and to her horror, she was now in her younger self’s body, Elie let out an ear piercing scream, as the man continued to hit her. In seconds she was thrown against a tree where her back and head hit it painfully. Elie screamed again, she knew what was going to happen to her next as she tried to climb to her feet. The man creped forward, as he picked her up by the neck and slammed her into the tree; pushing his body against her painfully; reaching with his free hand to touch her immature body. Elie struggled, but to no avail. The man continued to touch her in places she knew no man belonged. She screamed, and screamed but no one came. Her body pounded in fear as the man continued. Elie grabbed the arm the held her throat and tried to make him release her by digging her nails into his skin. The man grunted and pulled himself away from her, and threw her effortlessly across the clearing; while slowly walking himself over to her, Elie cringe and she opened her eyes to find the man standing above her broken and violated body she gasped as she felt him sink to his knees and ripping what clothes she had on off, as lowered himself to her.

Elie screamed long and loud as she fell to the tree branch in front of her. She wanted more than anything right now to crawl into a hole so no one could find her and die. She cradled her body; wrapping her arms around anything she could cover. Sweat dripped from her face, as her body ached, Elie’s eyes were wide with terror as she had just relived her worst memory. She shivered on the cold tree branch. It took Elie a few minutes to regain control over her body as she stood numbly to her feet placing her hand on the tree trunk next to her. She stared numbly into the cold blooded killer’s eyes, sweat dripping from her face. He watched her, as her body trembled.

“You still wish to come with me, after this?” he asked, giving Elie a chose.

Elie placed her back to the tree and slide down it leaving small scrapes on her back from the rough surface. She didn’t care about that at the moment. She continued to stare into his eyes, breathing heavily, a determined look still gleaming in her eyes, trying to forget what she just went through.

“I do.” Elie murmured. “Itachi-sama.” She continued bowing her head. She continued to huff, as she keep her head down.

“Stand.” came Itachi’s chilling voice. Elie obeyed as she staggered to her feet; raising her eyes cautiously up to his. He glared down at her pondering his answer. Elie watched as he stared down at her.

Itachi turned and walked to the end of the branch, before saying anything. “If you wish, to come, you must keep up. I will not feed you; you will have to fend for yourself. Do you understand?” Itachi asked while taking out the kunai knife he had used on Elie; he turned and looked at the worn girl.

“I understand, Itachi-sama.” Elie said as she bowed her head, before looking up. Itachi tossed her the kunai knife as she caught it numbly by the handle.

“Then we shall go now.” Itachi stated as he jumped down from the tree and started running on the path way. Elie gasped and jumped to the next tree branch in front of her in her efforts to catch up. She continued to jump branch to branch as Itachi ran under her.

After what seemed like hours, Itachi finally slowed down, and came to a walk. Elie face was covered in sweat as she continued to jump numbly to the next branch. Elie could see the Itachi had stopped in a clearing and waited.

Elie continued towards him her movements growing slower with each passing second. She didn’t stop till she was above him once again before falling to her butt and straddling the tree branch she was on.

She felt Itachi stare at her from below. Elie leaned over to look at Itachi; she didn’t know what he wanted her to do, so she returned his gaze with a blank look with her right eye, since her left was closed. Itachi remained quiet as he pointed to his left eye. Elie did the same has he did, pointing to her left, then a switch turned on, in her brain. Oh, she thought and she opened her left eye slowly. He nodded his head, and stared in another direction. Elie stared in the direction Itachi was staring in. That’s when she spotted it; people were coming their way, she felt Itachi’s stare at her again, and she returned it, getting the idea and jumping a few trees back and hiding as she clutched the kunai knife that he had given her. Back against the tree as she closed her eyes, listening, as she heard the footsteps walk into the clearing where Elie had left Itachi. I guess this is to test my hiding skills, Elie thought as she stayed as still as possible. Yes, that’s it, just think of it as a test, she thought. Elie focused on Itachi’s aurora as she stayed still. She could feel him as he walked to the middle of the clearing.

“You all alone?” Elie heard a man ask. She memorized his aurora as he took a step forward. His was different from Itachi’s, smaller so to say. She thought as she continued to listen. Itachi stayed quiet. After a moment he spoke.

“No. But she is no concern of yours.” He chilling emotionless voice said plainly.

“We thought we told you to come alone, what's this? Bringing a spy?” another man asked. Elie memorized his aurora as well, as she stayed put.

“Think of her as a spy all you want, but she is no spy.” Itachi countered, effortlessly, ending the conversation.

“So be it, we didn’t come to talk about this.” Another man says. Elie once again memorized this man’s aurora. “We came to talk about the organization. Have you thought of something for your initiation?”

“I have, and already did it.” Itachi stated simply.

“Which would be?” asked the man who first spoke.

“There are only two people in my clan left.” Itachi stated emotionlessly.

“Two? Are you going soft Uchiha? Who are these two survivors?” asked the man who spoke of initiations.

“A girl, who has decided to follow me, and my little brother,” Itachi replied.

“So where is this girl?” asked the second man, Elie could feel he’s aurora giving off a mysterious glint that worried her.

“If she wishes to show her self she shall, if she doesn’t come out, leave her alone.” Itachi said; Elie knew she had a choice, and she was guessing that it was another test, in her eyes at least. She pondered her position, think thoroughly of the consequences.

“So why didn’t you kill them? The boy I can understand but the girl? There can’t be anything special about her.” The first man spoke.

“Special now? No. In time? Yes.” Itachi stated; as he turned in Elie’s direction. Elie peeked out from behind her tree when she felt his piercing stare. He did some hands signs in her direction. The men behind him stared in confusion.

Elie watched his hand signs, ‘Throw’ seemed to be his first word. Then he pulled out another kunai knife, pointing to it. ‘Kunai knife’ he walked over to the tree across the clearing and held the handle to the tree. Then he point to the hole at the top of the kunai knife. ‘At this’. Elie paused, ‘Throw’ she looked at her kunai knife ‘kunai knife’, she looked back at Itachi-sama and the kunai knife he held at arms length, ‘at this’. Another test, Elie thought to herself with glee. Itachi-sama continued his message. He pointed at Elie, ‘you’ then held up two fingers, ‘two’. ‘You, two?’ she thought, before she knew it the kunai knife he held in his hand came whizzing at her, and engraved itself in the tree, as he pulled another kunai knife out holding it at arms length again. ‘You get two tries?’ she thought piecing together his message. Elie nods her head once with a determined look in her eyes. She closed her left eye and began to aim, but stopped as she saw Itachi-sama put his hand up. What now? Elie thought. He pointed to his left eye. Elie sighed, opening her left eye and closing her right eyelid; he nodded and held the kunai knife steady.

Elie pulled back again, aiming before throwing the kunai knife across the clearing; Elie closed her eyes hoping it would hit the spot. She only opened them when she heard a thud against the wood. To Elie’s dismay the kunai knife didn’t hit the mark but, it didn’t matter. The three men were looking at the kunai that Elie threw with amazement. Instead of the kunai knife hitting where the hole was, it hit where the tip was, which in the men’s opinion was pretty good, Itachi looked at Elie again.

Elie pulled the extra kunai knife from the tree, and began to aim again, taking her time this time as Itachi-sama pointed to the small hole again. I get it, I’m sorry, she mouthed to Itachi. He nodded and pulled his hand away from the hole while holding it stead. Elie aimed using her left eye and threw it faster and harder than the one she threw before, when she let go she stumbled forward, and was about to fall from her tree branch but grabbed the branch before she did so. She let out a sigh of relief, and climbed onto the branch again. You heard metal hit metal. Elie’s head fell, and turned around, feeling ashamed of herself. She looked into Itachi’s eyes, giving him a pitiful look as if saying ‘I’m sorry’. He shook his head and walked away from the tree, pulling out the one she threw and picking the other one off the ground before pocketing two, still holding one. He walked back to the three men, and stood with his back once again to Elie. She sighed in disappointment. I couldn’t pass his test… she thought numbly as she jumped closer.

“That was pretty impressive. Tell me Itachi, how old is this girl?” Itachi shrugged his shoulders. “What do you mean you don’t know?” Itachi shrugged his shoulders again; as Elie jumped down, hidden behind Itachi-sama. She was a foot away from his back, staring at the back of Itachi’s legs, practically radiating disappointment from her body. She saw the knife that was being held in Itachi-sama hand and went to grab it. She touched Itachi’s hand in the process and he let her take the kunai knife into her own before grabbing her wrist and gently, yet a little forcefully pulling her forward.

Elie sighed as she kept her head down, in shame, her hair covering her face; Itachi-sama still holding onto her wrist. Elie side glanced at Itachi with her right eye. Elie felt the men’s stare at her. Elie closed her left eye again before looking back down at the ground.

“So is it true? Did Uchiha really kill his whole clan?” a man asked.

“…Yes.” Elie said simply
