Summary: When Iruka’s parents died, sixteen year old Iruka was taken into the home of a ‘long lost relative’. There he found out that his parents promised their first child to him to pay their debt. The debt came from their own life expense of moving to the village and training as ninjas. Iruka is left to pay the debt as a prostitute along with others in the same situation. He would learn the tricks of the trade until he is twenty-one. On his twenty-first birthday, he planned on killing himself, but someone came to save him.

Chapter One : Rain on Me
He leaned on the still of the window, watching the rain splash on the road. This day seemed no different from any other day, except this day was his birthday. He would spend it alone like he had for the last four years, no one to wish him a happy one or to be there for the celebration, even if there was a celebration for him. Sighing, he pushed his long brown hair away from his face as a knock on the door was heard.
“Hey, let me in,” a heavy voice said as he pulled his hair into a pony tail. He called back, in his light voice, “Come on in.”
“Thanks, listen he wants to talk to you,” the heavy voice belong to a tall broad man with short spikey black hair. He gave a smile, his gray eyes concerned, “Oh ya, a happy birthday seem to be in order for you, eh, Iruka?”
“You seem to know everything, Taira. How did you know it is my birthday, I haven’t told anyone,” Iruka said as he looked at the tall man.
“Well for the last four years, you are always moody on this day, so I mentioned that it and if it wasn’t your birthday, you would have said so, but instead you snapped at me. I guess Konoha never taught you anything.”
“Ha ha,” Iruka laughed as he got up to go, “Must I go see him?”
“Yes, it’s about the debt.”
“I’ll see you later, Taira,” Iruka said as he looked again at the small room, only a bed and desk were in there. Sighing, he left and walked along the dimly lit corridor to the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs was a door, the door lead to a much more presentable part of the house. The corridors were brightly lit and nicely decorated. Iruka walked along until he stopped in front of two black wood doors and he raised his hand and knocked lightly.
“Come in,” was barely heard and Iruka walked in. The man that spoke sat behind a black desk and looked up from his papers as Iruka closed the door behind him. A pale hand lifted and gestured at the chair in front of Iruka as whisper came out, “Please have a seat.”
“Thank you,” Iruka whispered, his voice barely heard as he sat down and looked at the man across from him. The man had long waist length black hair and pale skin, Iruka would even say he was snake like. The man wore a dark hunter green yukata and a black sash. He pulled his hand towards himself and pushed himself upward.
“Iruka, of the Hidden Leaf Village, has turned twenty-one today,” the black haired man drawled as he walked away from the desk. His steps lightly hitting the floor boards as he walked towards his floor length window, “This day and the days that are to come, are the ones that you have spent the last four years learning about. Today, you start to pay off your debt as a prostitute.”
“Yes, I understand. May I ask why this profession?”
“Because I like to take everything from a person, I like to leave them in the dirt with nothing. It is also the fastest way to make money, sex sells. You’re a nice young man that will pull in new customers for this place. You do want to pay off your debt, right?”
“Yes, I do want to pay it off,” Iruka looked at the man and swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat. He took a deep breath and asked, “Once the debt is paid, I can leave right?”
“Yes. You think this will only take a couple of years, don’t you?” Iruka nodded and the man laugh, “It will take much more than that. Your parents asked for five million and promised me you when you were born. As you know, I never got you until four years ago, so I’m adding interest. Now you start tonight at six, be on time please.”
As he was dismissed, Iruka looked at the man with disgust and walked away. He walked back up to his small room and opened the door. Taira was gone and room seemed to be suffocating Iruka, he needed to get out.
Out. How to get out?
He had no money and no family so no one can pay it off. If he ran away, he would be caught and the debt would probably double. He hated sex, especially after having lessons on it. Iruka rather die before making a living off of sex.
There was only one way he would make it through the first time: he had to be drunk. The only problem with this is he didn’t know how much alcohol he‘d have to drink before he could be considered drunk. One way to find out: leave now and spend the afternoon drunk. Iruka got up and changed into a pair of black pants and a dark green shirt. Sighing, he closed the door and made his way out of the house. Outside was nice and cool now that the rain stopped; the village itself was alive with people shopping and enjoy themselves. Iruka milled about for a bit before walking into the local bar. Sitting down, he asked the bartender for the quickest way to get to get drunk and the bartender handed him a bottle of sake and a cup.

Three ninjas stopped a few feet in front of a busy village. Two of them turned and faced their colleague, a tall pale, gray haired man, as he pulled down the ANBU mask. He gave a smile and said calmly, “Asuma, Gai, this is my stop. I took a couple days off for a vacation.”
“But, my rival, we must train against each oth-“ Gai was cut off by Asuma as he grabbed Gai a head lock, knocking his mask off to reveal a bowl cut and two bushy eyebrows. He struggled and finally stopped moving, “Now, who am I to train against?”
“Gai, Kakashi wants a vacation, who are you to deny him the pleasure?”Asuma said as Kakashi looked at him, “You need the vaca, you look horrid.”
“Thanks, plus Gai, you can use this time to train, while I relax,” Kakashi said as he put his gear into a bag, “I’ll be back at the end of the week.”
Kakashi slung the bag over his shoulder and walked into the village. He headed towards the local inn and acquired a room for a couple of days. The room was simple and cozy, a king size bed, a desk and a set of drawers. There was a large bathroom and a walk-in closet. Kakashi flung his bag on the floor and took a quick relaxing shower. Walking out into the room, he dressed in a black long sleeve and pants, brushed his hair over his left and left to explore the town.
The village seemed to have caught the rain shower early, but it didn’t put a damper on the villagers’ spirits. The place was lively with vendors and people. Kakashi decided he was going to just going to look around today and go for a drink. The town had many stores and restaurants to visit, soon Kakashi found himself in front of the local bar. Walking in he saw, a couple in one of the booths, few single people milling about and two men at the bar, one piss-ass drunk and the other just seemed to be listening to the drunk.
He sat down at the bar and order sake. The bartender handed him the cup and a bottle, and asked if he wanted anything else. Kakashi shook his head no as he poured his first cup and listened to the conversations around the place. The couple seemed to be calling each other their pet names and flirting. Two new guys walked in and sat down at a booth and whispered too quietly for him to hear. The most interesting conversation was held between the drunk and the man.
Kakashi looked closely at the two. The drunk was slim and slightly fit, he could have been a ninja, and he had brown hair slung into a pony tail and brown eyes. The brown haired man was captivating, causing Kakashi to catch himself staring at the brunette. Averting his eyes, he looked at the other man, he was plain and simple, blond hair, blue eyes, but there was something about this guy. He leaned too close to the drunk and kept refilling his drink.
“So, you’re going to be working there, any clients yet?”
“No, it’s my first day, I want to be drunk. I don’t want to remember anything,” the brunette said in return, his voice seemed familiar to Kakashi.
“How come you don’t want to remember anything? It’s your first time,” the blond said as he moved closer to the brunette. “You should remember your first time.”
The blond glanced at his watch as he pay the bill and asked casually, “You start at six, right?”
“Yes, why what time is it now?”
“Quarter to six. Let’s get you there and help you start your job, okay?” The blonde said as he helped the brunette up and gave a signal to the two gentlemen, who had just come in, causing them to leave. The other two followed them out the door.
Kakashi didn’t care what the other villagers do as professions, he was here on vacation and he planned on enjoying it. An hour went by and Kakashi couldn’t help but be bugged on who the brunette was. Finally he pulled the bartender aside and asked him in a casual manner, “Excuse me, do you know who the brown haired guy was that left an hour ago?”
“Ahh, him, he said his name was Iruka…”
He nodded his thanks and the bartender left, leaving Kakashi to his thoughts. He remembered who Iruka was; he left with a mysterious relative after his parents died from the fox demon carnage. Kakashi never really got to see Iruka before he left, not that the man was any more than a close friend. The blond man worried him, he seemed to be a little too friendly.
