Naruto sighed as he watched his friend across the table from him, eating his lunch.The red-head didnt seem to pay much mind to the blonde.He nibbled at his meal, as he always did, taking small bites as if he didnt want to really hurt his hamburger.But that's how he always was.Shy and timid when you first meet, but strong and comfident when you become friends.Naruto found that amiable. He loved that one thing about him. But what he really loved was those icy blue-gray eyes of his..Yes. Naruto was inlove with his MALE best friend. He didnt care. He was too much in love to. Unrequited love, that is. The blond just wouldnt tell his friend, Couldnt tell him.. For all he knew, Gaara was as straight as a ruler. But that didnt stop Naruto from trying. Always buying him breakfast and lunch..(He was too nervous to really ask him out to dinner like a real date). Always being clingy and following him around like a lost puppy.Gaara didnt mind. He just thought that was how the blonde was. But Gaara never showed him any love affection, Nor did he any other person, male or female. It really made the blonde wonder..He was too bust straing at Gaara (More like daydreaming in the way of Gaara's face) To notice the red-head was staring back at him quite intently.

"Uhm..Naruto, what are you staring at..?" Naruto quickly sat up and laughed nervously.

"O-oh..Nothing." The blonde rubbed the back of his head.Gaara looked down at his hamburger.

"..You havent even touched your food.." Gaara pointed out, looking back to the blonde with a dull gaze as usual.Naruto laughed even more hystarically, receiving an even stranger gaze from his friend.

"Er...Yeah..Anyway..I have to get going." Naruto immediatly frowned. "B-but..Gaara~! You're not just gonna leave already, are you, Gaara-kun??" He always used that name for Gaara, and of couse, the read-head didnt mind.

The man stood. "Yes, I'm sorry but I have business to attend to.I'll see you later." He turned to walk away, but paused when he felt warm arms wrap around his waist, the blonde hugging him from behind.He felt the other nuzzle deeply into his back and he felt himself blush slightly at the feel. He couldnt help but smile. He turned around to the blonde and placed a gentle hand on his head, ruffling his hair.Naruto blushed heavily, before nuzzling into his chest to hide it. Gaara never acted this way towards him..

"I'm sorry, but I really have to go.." The blonde looked up at him and pouted.

"B-But.."

"Look, I'll come by your apartment tonight. I'll bring a movie?" Naruto instanly smiled.

"Okay!" The red-head smiled back before patting the blonde on the head,then moving away from the blonde. "I'll be over at 7. Not a moment later. I promise." The reassurance in the other man's voice made him feel giddy.

"See ya." Gaara called over his shoulder and the blonde failed to notice he had already started to walk away. Naruto smiled after his friend as he was then left alone in the resturant.

Naruto was frantic. He was running around his apartment, making sure everything was in order.Popcorn made,black cherry candles lit (He knew Gaara loved that smell.) and his brand new DVD player working.But Gaara would be there any minute! It was exactly 6:59 and he wanted everything to be perfect. Then the doorbell rang. He nearly screamed with both surprise and excitment. He quickly ran to the door. It had been awhile since Gaara wanted to come over for a movie night..

Or rather..Date.. Naurto thought in the back of his mind as he opened up the door and smiled.His friend smiled back.

"Got the movie." The red-head said lifting a small bag.

"Got the popcorn." Naruto said, pointing behind himself. He stepped aside to let his friend in and closed the door behind him. The blonde walked over to the TV and smiled back at his friend,his eyes closed, nose sticking up slightly in the air, obviously smelling the warm scents that filled the room.

"You like it?" The red-head gave a nod.

"Yes. It smells nice..For once.." Gaara teased. Naruto smirked at his friend as he walked over to him.

"Ha ha..That's funny, Gaara-kun." His friend chuckled some and look at the new DVD player.

"I see you got a new one." Gaara said. Naruto nodded some.

Gaara smiled at the blonde. "I hope it works good.."

Gaara's eyes widened some as the blonde hugged him tightly. "..I missed you Gaara-kun.." The red-head gazed thoughtfully at his friend.

"But I was only gone for a few hours.."

"Yeah but..You're my best friend.." Came the blond's reply, slightly muffled as he nuzzled into his chest to hide his blush and to also take in his sweet scent of Axe®. Gaara coulnt help but smile warmly at his friend.He slowly pulled away from his friend.He handed the blonde the movie. It was supposed to be a Action/comedy/drama movie, Gaara explained.

"C'mon. Let's watch this movie.."


The movie was an explosion of action and drama.Naruto was way into it.He laughed. He cried. He was blown away by the special effects and High definition.Gaara even manged to chuckled now and then, but mostly when people died or got shot. And Naruto stared at him as if he had no soul.Then the credits flooded the TV screen, along with cheesy backround music to keep you interested longer.Naruto sighed, rubbing his eyes, laying his head on his friends shoulder.

"That was a good movie." Gaara snorted at the blonde's statment which made the blonde half surprised.

"Not really. The main character died.."

"Yeah..But that just made the movie even better!"

"Pfft.." Naruto looked up at his friend and pouted some. "Oh, c'mon, Gaara-kun! You liked it!" Gaara chuckled some and looked down at his friend.

"Fine, It was.. Okay.." Naruto stuck his tongue out at him. "Well..That's is you're opinion.." A smile stretched across those beautiful, pale lips of Gaara's. Naruto hadnt noticed he was leaning forward, up and up until they're lips met.The red-head's eyes widened and his heart pounded in his chest.It fluttered and he felt his body heat up.Then the lips pulled away.Gaara hadnt even noticed his eyes had closed and he opened them slowly to look at his friend.Naruto wouldnt look at the red-head, his face red with embarrassment.

"G..Gaara-kun..I..I'm sorry..I didnt..." His friend trailed off as he slowly lifted his blue-eyed gaze to Gaara. "I'm just..so sor--" He was cut off abruptly as lips were harshly pressed to his in a feirce, yet passionate kiss, bruising his lips.He found that Gaara had moved on top of him,pinning him to the couch as he kissed him.He nibbled and sucked on the blonde's bruised bottom lip,causing him to tremble with lust and pleasure. Gaara ran his tongue over his lips, asking for entrance. The man reluctantly opened his mouth in response, alowing his friend to venture deep into the slick,wet cavern within.His friend's tongue slid over his own, touching every side of the cavern. Naruto shivered underneath the red-head,moaning softly in pleasure. Gaara pulled away, gazing at his friend, both of them completly breathless.

"G...G..aara.." Naruto managed to breath out.He heard Gaara sigh and the warm body from above moved off.Naruto opened his eyes and stared at his friend, who was standing and fixing his ruffled clothes.

"G-Gaara..Kun..?" Naruto asked, concerned. His friend was unusually shaky. He should be, he just made out with his MALE best friend!

"...I have to go." Naruto sat up immediatly. "..Wh-what..?"

"I'm sorry, but I do.." Gaara said, grabbing his coat off the coffee table and heading for the door.

"W-wait! Gaara-kun!" Naruto felt like crying, he didnt want Gaara to leave him all alone. Not now. Gaara stopped and turned to the blonde.

"Please..Please dont leave me alone.." Naruto said at almost a whisper.Gaara smiled at him weakly. "I'm sorry, Naruto..But I have to go.." Then he turned away, opening the door and closing it behind him. Then Naruto really felt the tears welling in his eyes.They streamed down his cheeks and onto his pants and couch. He wanted Gaara to be there with him. He wanted his friend to be there to tell him everything was okay like he always did..He felt so alone..

Gaara..If you only knew how much I love you..

Naruto sighed staring up at the cloudy skies above as he sat in the park. He hadnt seen Gaara all day and it worried him.

Maybe he hates me.. Naruto thought sadly. Maybe he scared Gaara last night..He felt his heart lurch.

I want to see him..So badly.. He sighed and finally decided with himslef. Yes! I'll go see him! And I'll tell him how I really feel!

He stood and walked off in the direction of Gaara's house. He was glad his friend didnt live far from the park. As he walked, he found himself catching speed, then running towards his friends house at full speed. He heard a low crack of thunder in the skies above and he prayed to the gods to keep the rain away for a bit longer.Once he reached the house, he banged on the door, not caring how loud at the moment.Then the door was flung open. Gaara blinked and stared at his breathless friend.

"N-Naruto..? What're you--"

"I have to tell you something.." The blonde interuppted.

Gaara sighed. "Can it wait..?" Gaara's voice was almost a whisper.

"No!" Naruto yelled, rather loudly.He was blushing madly,hoping his red-headed friend wouldnt pay much mind. "I..Well..For the longest time now..Uhm.Gaara..I..I've been in lo--"

"Who's at the door, Gaara-san?" Came a voice from behind Gaara. Naruto blinked as a raven haired boy with a bowl cut, wearing a green sweater with black pants came to the side of Gaara. He wrapped himself around Gaara's arm as he smiled at Naruto.

"Oh, who's this?" The black haired boy asked cheerfully. "A friend of yours?"

Gaara nodded absently as he continued to stare at his friend. "Uh..Naruto..This is Lee..Uhm.."Naruto stared at his friend, confused.

Gaara sighed once more. "He's..My fiance'e..."
