War and Regret
Prolouge
Poverty. That was the only word to discribe the once thriving city. The people who used to swarm the streets, rarely ever left the safety of their homes anymore unless absoultly necessary. The mountian that had once stood proudly watching over the village, was now crubling from numerous attacks on their home, bringing down what had brought many hope, bit by bit.
It had been this way for the last six years. Ever since the council had decided to through out the only person who stood between them and the hell they were in now. The only true hope this once feared village had. The young blond haired, blue-eyed jinchuriki, who always brought a smile, and the strength to move on to the younger generation, and had saved the older generation more than once.
When Tsunade had returned after a short three day vacation she had been ferious and had imedently sent search party after search party to find and bring him back, but they had all turned up empty handed. After three weeks of trying, she finally had to call them off as one of the teams reported enmey nin coming straight for Konoha.
Tired and illperpared, they had barely managed to hold the enmey off long enough for them to retreat, but they had suffered. Soon after other enmeies of Konoha heard of the weakening village and attacked.
Year after year it was the same. Konoha constantly trying to regain their powerfull statis, and every year they were brutally attacked. They had no allies that could help them, and the only other they could turn to was Suna, but the treaty with the Kazekage became nulled on the acount that, as a jinchuriki, Gaara couldnt trust them not to discard him as they had Naruto.
Tsunade didnt blame him for his reasonings, and had been tempted to join him, but one thought of how much Naruto had loved this village she knew she had to stay.
Even though they were in war, Tsunade had sent a small team of ninja out to keep tracking Naruto down. If they could just find him then they may have a chance, but as they years passed, Tsunade's age started to catch up with her, and her hope was brought to nothing more than a flicker.
It was when all hope was lost that she looked out at the once mighty village as a cheer rang up and saw at least fifty people being lead by one other than her tracker team, a tall handsom red head, and a shot elegant blond. She couldnt believe her eyes there was no way, it couldnt be.....
