I can live like this

A/N: Ok, I haven't written fanfics alone before and NEVER written any Naruto-fanfics, so yeah, please don't expect too much? xD; Please review if you like it and want more though! Encouragement is always needed ^_^;;v

Also, have angst and some soloM planned, but yeah, depending on what people want and what I feel like, we'll see how all this progresses... xD;

Thanks for giving me a chance!! ^-^v

The landscapes became a blur outside the window as the train quickly crossed distances, but Sasuke didn’t pay the scenery much attention despite staring right at it. His thoughts were on something entirely else, or rather many things entirely else. To sum it all up – his thoughts and why he was on this train – he’d moved to new and bigger city to study about a year ago and now he was going back to his hometown. However, it was not to see his family. In fact, he had every intent to avoid them which wouldn’t be easy considering how small his hometown was, but it wouldn’t be impossible. The person he was going to his hometown to see though was the very one to keep his mind off the scenery. Uzumaki Naruto. He really was one of a kind, you could easily say that. One of a kind bore a different meaning to Sasuke than it probably did to most, but let’s not get too deep too soon.
Naruto had been out of the country for a few months now, having been on a… study trip of sort, but anyone would call it a regular holiday, only it was exceptionally long. Naruto had worked hard for it though and obviously it had been more than worth it. It had been a bit painful to read the mail, to read how Naruto was sad he had to go home already. For Sasuke the other’s absence had been horribly long and it’d felt so empty to not have the bouncy piece of sunshine around. Sure, they hadn’t lived in the same town for a while, but when they’d been in the same country they’d been able to talk on the phone everyday and Naruto had almost always been online to chat away an hour or two there. These past months however those hours every day had been cut down to a one page long email every second week. Sasuke didn’t know even now how the hell he had made it through because it had been just unbearable.
Now the other was less than half an hour away though. It felt so surreal to get to see Naruto again and Sasuke was both scared and excited at the same time. He hoped he wouldn’t do something as embarrassing as start crying or anything, he’d never be able to live that down. To get teased and taunted by the blond again would be great however even if he’d never admit it to be anything else but annoying… he’d actually missed it. And let’s not forget all the teasing and taunting he did in return (and we shouldn’t miss to point out that Sasuke was way better at it, or maybe that was just Naruto being the bigger moron of the two…). The careless fooling around, he’d missed that immensely. To be able to fully relax around someone. Sure, there was Sakura that he felt fairly comfortable around whenever she wasn’t fangirling over him, something she’d thankfully begun to cut down on lately and then there was his teacher Kakashi that he for some reason had started talking about more private stuff with, but Naruto was special. More special than he should be actually…

“Next stop Konoha Station. We’re stopping at Konoha Station in five minutes.”

Pulled out of his musings by that, Sasuke started gathering his things that he’d put in the empty seat next to him, trying not to fumble despite feeling slightly shaky from being so worked up, but if he just focused enough on the small tasks ahead and on breathing, then maybe he could pull this off properly.
