Chapter 1 - Confession


Sun was rising once again in Konoha, after dark winter; the lovely spring had come and the flowers starts to grow and birds singing, villiagers went out and doingall stuff, they hadn't done so much during the winter period and it was another lovely typical morning in this land. One of them, who especially enjoyed this season off spring was Hinata Hyuga. As 14-year-old girl, she had grown, but still somehow shy and timid, her personality hadn't really changed much, yes she had become Chunnin, but the rest of her character was the same.
Only that Naruto isn't here in Konoha anymore, gone for his desire of becoming one of strongest ninja in the world and eventually he'll be hokage, one of Naruto's strongest wish. Hinata signed; after two years, she realised that he was more to her idol, than her dream lovematch, beside during two years together as teammate with two other boys, she had fallen inlove with one off them and that boy, who replaced Naruto, was Kiba.
Kiba Inukuza, a boy from the dogclan, who's known for being brash and hyperactive, but very passionated and lojal, especially to the close ones, well not only his now grown-up dog Akamaru, but his teammates as well. But there was someone he were most fond with and it was Hinata. Since Ninja Academic school, he had grew fond of her, although she was much quiet and shy, he learned slowly to aceept her as she was and even fall inlove her.
Yet, there was a problem, she had only her eyes for Naruto, everytime Naruto were near her, she suddenly either getting her face red of blushes or fainting, but that was the past. Naruto was gone and Kiba had no reason for holding himself back, but then again. Would Hinata ever love him back or would she still love him as a friend or brother?
However Kiba had becoming frustrated, he wanted nothing than to claim her his, body and soul, and one day in training ground, when Shino couldn't come because he had mission with his dad, it was only Hinata and Kiba left. Kurenai, their sensai, was dating with her boyfriend Asuma, the chainsmoking sensai for Team 10, Shikamaru, Choji and Ino, those idiots, Kiba thought.
But he didn't said anything about it and continue pratice with his training, without Akamaru, because he was sick with too much flees and his sis Hana refused to let the dog coming out until he was healed. Hinata however didn't do so much, which was unrare off her, (she always worked twice harder than both Kiba and Shino) and suddenly she just stood there and thinking about something.
”Hinata?”
”Yes, Kiba-kun?” Hinata turned her head over to Kiba, who stood right behind her and he asked: ”Is there's something bothering you? Is that Naruto again?”
”No... it's not him...I...” Hinata still having problems with stuttering, a great fear off hurting anyone, even for small reasons.
”Hinata, please! You can talk to me. I'am your friend.” ”FOR FUCK SAKE HINATA!! I LOVE YOU! CAN'T YOU SEE IT!?” Inner Kiba spoke.
”Well ano... I don't know... of how to tell... but... I think...” then she stopped again, but Kiba noticed something; she was blushing! Could that be a sign? Perhaps it wasn't too late for him, he hoped so. ”Hinata...” Kiba took her hand, stroking it with his other hand. ”There's no need to be afraid off me. You know me, Hinata. Just take a deep breath and take your time.” Hinata blused even more, right after he took her hand and spoke softly, she couldn't hold any longer, she had to tell the true, even it would probably break her heart.
”I...I'am inlove with you!” she whispered fast.
”You're in what?” ”So she was what?” Kiba thought.
”Hai... I'm so sorry, but I... love you...” And then she pulled her head down, not looking at him, just feeling her hand being squeezed slightly. Suddenly she felt a body taking hers.
”He's hugging me!? Is this happening?! Oh my god! Oh my god!” Hinata was in panic, but tried to control herself, as she let him hug her tight, but soon she relaxed and huggen back, she felt that she really needed right now, no word was spoken.
Kiba felt the same, he didn't have any words off it, he was just so happy and relived!
He finally won over something big and so great, that no titles in the world could make him so happy as now!
”Hinata...my love..” Hinata opened her eyes, her body were shaking slightly, but Kiba started to stroke her back slowly. ”Ssssssh. It's okay...it's okay to be nervous, everything will be alright, I promise. Sssssh. I love you so much.”
”Kiba...-kun...never... let it go... I can't live without you...” she whispered and finally relaxed and let herself cuddle him even more and they suddenly lay down at the ground, letting Kiba hugging all off her body and she felt his strong, but warm hand stroking her hair, her forehead, her face, everything was so intense and delightful. She felt warmed and loved, no one had ever done this to her, not since her mother died long ago. She could feel that the tears were coming, just a single thought of her mother was always painful for her, Kiba noticed that she was hyperverialting, and whispered: ”Hinata...? Are you crying?”
”Kiba-kun... I... well... it's just that... I miss her so much...”
”Who? Our sensai?”
”My mother...”
”Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..” But Hinata were holding Kiba’s sleeve, and laid her forehead on his chest. Through his shirt, he could feel Hinata’s tears and said nothing more.
Kiba relaxed somehow, he also lost his parent in past, his father died in one of horrible war, when he was only 6, but he never really remembered his father so much, except few flashbacks, but that was all. The rest of the Inuzuka's household were two women and their pack of dogs and wolves.
“I’m so sorry, Hinata-chan,” he whispered once again, stroking her back and hair with his bare hands, gently.
She shook her head. “Why?!” she sobbed. “Why did she had to die!? Why her?! What had she done to deserve that! I wish that she was here with me right now, if she hadn't died, I wouldn't feel so alone...”
”Because that’s just how things are,” he whispered. ”People dies, that's how life is. We don't choose our fates, not this. And I'm sure that she loves you so much, but sometimes you have to let it go, because theres always someone, who will be here for you. You know, Im here, Akamaru is here, Shino is here, our sensai is here. For this, we're family, and we all love you so much, Hinata.”
”Kiba... promise never leave me like this. If this ever going to happend to us, I want us to die together, I don't want to feel alone again. Please...I'm begging you...” she whispered.
”I will be here for you, I won't let anyone taking you away from me, no matter what. Until we die, we'll do it together, I swear from now on. You will never be alone. I promise, Hinata-chan.” Finally her tears slowed, she relaxed, still feeling his strokes over her back, it felt so wonderful and she felt like a child again, clunging to her mothers chest.
Then Kiba lift her chin with his fingers, looking at her puffy red eyes, after crying, his face moved close to hers and his lips touched hers. A kiss, their first kiss and it was warm and passionated, he heard her moan soflty and their lips pulled away from each other and just blushed.
Hinata's first thought that she sucked kissing, but Kiba who understood, shoke his head and said: ”No, we're just not used to it, kiss or not. I will always love you, Hinata.”
”I love you too, Kiba-kun. But Kiba...”
”Yes?”
”How Am I going to tell my family?”
Suddenly both of them paled, her family, Hyuga clan. The oldest, most noble and feared clan in entire Kohona and the leader, her father Hiashi was a coldhearted man, who's known for his merciless leader with no pardon, and unlike his twinbrother, Hinata's uncle Hizashi was warm and clever man, a genious and most strongest ninja, but unfortunally he was killed long ago and Hinata was only three then, but she still had her small memories off his smile and how much he cared about her. He said that she was the only reason, why his son Neji smiled few times, because he stopped smiling since his mother died and a year later, his father vanished too and he was orphaned and adopted by his uncle and had come to live with Main House, although he's a Branch member. ”Hinata... I know we have to tell them sooner or later, but in meanwhile, why don't we tell Shino, Sensei and my family about it first, maybe they can help us, if something's going to happend, especially to you.”
”I know, it's just that... my father is not the man, who takes back his words, once he had decided something, nobody can stop him. And when he say something about someone, he mean it every word. I still remember two years ago..., when Sensei was taking me as her student... and she told him about those risks of being genin, but he simply told her that she could do whatever she want with me, because... I was useless to this clan.” For a first time, she talked without stutter so much a she used to do.
”Bastard... that's how he said about you?” Kiba clenched his fists, he just wanted for that moment, beat shit off her daddy, but sat where he was and Hinata simply nod.
”But don't worry, he won't win.And I'll make sure off it.” he said with strong confident.
”Kiba..”
”Listen to me, Hinata! He can't control you forever, your his daughter, not his slave!”
”You don't understand Kiba!” Hinata gasp and continue; ”He treats all Branch-members as slaves, even to his own brother! He even tortured my uncle with curse seal, when he tried to stop him from abusing me for failure and for his hatred towards the Main Bransch, after the curse seal on his son Neji! And I'm no better than any Branch-member to him, for him; I'am just a burden to this clan and not worth the title as heirness. Hanabi, my younger sister, is the one, who probably will be the one who's going to take over the clan, one day.”
”Hinata... your not a burden! NEVER EVER! He's wrong, so god damn wrong! You are the most beautiful and amazing woman, I've ever known! I mean for fuck! Your his daughter... I can't for fuck believe how cold that human can be!”
”Beautiful? Me? Only Sensei and my mother ever said that I'm beautiful...” ”But you are beautiful, always and I want you, I need you with me, Hinata!”
They hugged each other tighter, the promised was made, nothing will be ever taking back, no matter what and Hinata finally closed her eyes, a few tears fell; it was happytears for the first time. A real happiness she hadn't felt for so long.
”Kiba...”
