**
Naruto Uzumaki arrived at Sasuke Uchiha’s graduation party. He was dressed in tight jeans which showed off the converses he had bought nearly three years ago. His black shirt displayed the names of several bands he liked. The shirt couldn't be found in any store. Sasuke had had this shirt professionally done and given it to Naruto for his 18th birthday a few months ago.
Naruto knocked on the door of Sasuke’s mansion. Some random dude who seemed way too drunk, opened the door and ushered the blond in. Naruto looked around at his surroundings and happily noted that not everyone was drunk. Some people were playing pool while others sat around a table and played some sort of card game that involved drinking.
Sasuke was no where to be seen. He was probably off somewhere, making out with Sakura. Naruto entered the large kitchen and opened the fridge. Before he had a chance to grab a beer, he was suddenly being lifted off the ground by none other than Kiba Inuzuka, one of his other best friends and fellow graduate.
“Dude!! We did it! We graduated!” Kiba said enthusiastically, spinning Naruto around.
“Put me down!!” Naruto yelled, playfully.
“Hn. I should’ve known the two of you would be rough-housing,” Came a voice from the doorway.
Kiba froze and put Naruto down gently. Turning in the direction of the voice, he smiled sheepishly.
“Aw, Sasuke, we were just playing!” Naruto defended himself and Kiba.
“Well, try not to break something, dobe..” He smirked and walked off.
Naruto stood for a moment, wondering what Sasuke’s problem was tonight. Then he shrugged and re-opened the fridge, looking for another beer. Sasuke's parents had unfortunately died when Sasuke still lived in Tokyo and now Sasuke lived with his older brother, Itachi, who was never around, but often bought alcohol for Sasuke and friends. Naruto could remember getting drunk in this house on several occasions.
“So, uh, Naruto, are you planning on telling Sasuke tonight?” Kiba said, striking up a conversation.
“I honestly have no idea, Kiba..” Naruto shrugged.
“But you promised! Remember!” Kiba whined.
*Flashback to 2 weeks ago*
Naruto stared at the paper as Sasuke walked away. Sasuke had just handed him a flier about the party he was having in two weeks. It was a graduation party, and it was going to be held at the Uchiha Mansion .
“So, are you going to go?” Kiba asked, looking at his invitation as well.
“Yeah, most likely.” Naruto folded and tucked the flier into his pocket, keeping it as a reminder for later.
“Naruto, you should tell him.” Kiba approached.
Naruto looked up and narrowed his eyes.
“Kiba, we’ve already gone through this. Sasuke doesn’t like me like that. I know for a fact.”
“So? The least you could do is to just tell him. I mean, you never know..”
“No, Kiba.”
“Aw, come on dude! Just promise me, that,” He looked at the flier, “you’ll tell Sasuke the night of his party.”
“Hn. Whatever, maybe.” Naruto answered, though he had no intention of going through with it.
“See? You’re beginning to talk like Sasuke too! Ow!” Kiba grabbed the arm that Naruto had just sucker-punched.
*End Flashback*
“Honestly, Naruto, what if you never see Sasuke again? It’s worth it to just tell him.” Kiba said.
Naruto didn’t say anything, but Kiba’s words were true. What if he didn’t see Sasuke ever again? Would he regret it, knowing he could’ve told the raven?
“I’ll think about it.” Naruto said, grabbing his beer and walking off towards a group of people to mingle with.
Kiba grinned.
***
The party continued, and Naruto found himself in the corner, talking to Kiba again, and smoking a cigar. Naruto wasn’t really paying attention to Kiba as he rambled on and on about his girlfriend, Hinata. A few minutes earlier, Sasuke had disappeared upstairs with Sakura and Naruto needed something to distract him.
“And then Sasuke..” Kiba spoke and Naruto looked up immediately.
“Naruto, I thought you weren’t paying attention.” Kiba fumed.
Naruto grinned his stupid smile and blew smoke into Kiba’s face. He coughed.
“YOU’RE BREAKING UP WITH ME!?” Someone screamed; it echoed throughout the whole house.
Immediately, all chatter ceased and everyone drew their attention to the main party room. Naruto exchanged a worried look with Kiba and joined the crowd. Everyone was backed up, leaving a circular space open. Inside that space, Sakura stood, fuming. Her hand tightened on the neck of the beer she held. Sasuke stood opposite Sakura and stared into her eyes.
“We’ve dated the last TWO FUCKING YEARS, and now you just want to call it quits!!!! What the hell is wrong with you!?” Sakura yelled. She angrily threw her beer bottle down after receiving no response from Sasuke, save just a glance that told her he would not miss her.
“Fuck you!” She screamed in his face and walked off.
Naruto stared, wide-eyed, at Sasuke. Sakura and Sasuke had been voted the cutest couple junior and senior year. Had something gone wrong? Sasuke turned slightly and caught Naruto staring at him. He smirked, briefly, before walking off.
Naruto remembered the day Sasuke had asked Sakura out. Of course, it had hurt Naruto a lot, but he pushed aside his feelings and was happy for Sasuke and Sakura. Secretly, he had hoped it wouldn't work out, but the two of them ended up dating for two years.
“Naruto, do you know what this means?!” Kiba said, bewildered.
“What?” Naruto said, jerked out of his thoughts.
“Sasuke is single now. Meaning, he’s yours for the taking.”
Naruto looked at his friend, “Kiba...come on, stop with the bullshit...”
“Oh, but it’s not bullshit! Why else would Sasuke break up with Sakura? Because he wants someone else!” Kiba said matter-o-factly.
Naruto rolled his eyes and walked off. Kiba swore Naruto had taken on Sasuke’s facial expressions.
**
Naruto had snuck upstairs and was sitting alone in the bathroom, on the counter-top. He was torn over what to do about Sasuke. His thought's were divided. He could either 'Tell Sasuke', as Kiba had urged him to, or he could 'Not Tell Sasuke'. Of course the 'Not Tell Sasuke' side was winning.
Still, Naruto knew he had to tell Sasuke, he just hadn’t mustered up the courage to do it. He licked his lips as he idly thought back to when he had ‘stolen’ Sasuke’s first kiss.
*flashback*
It was their sophomore year in high school. The year Sasuke met Naruto. Sasuke had come to Konoha that year, transferring from Tokyo . He came alone and moved in with his older brother who already lived here.
All the girls swooned over Sasuke-kunnn, as they liked to call him. Naruto hated the bastard. All he did was say "Hn" and they would swoon over him like he was the greatest thing in the world.
Naruto had befriended Sasuke, wondering what was so great about him. Then over the months, Naruto began to like Sasuke more and more, until it was too late.
Their friend, Sakura, had held a birthday party and invited both the boys. The birthday group ended up playing Truth or Dare, and Sasuke had been dared to kiss Naruto.
Naruto and Sasuke both inched closer together, wide-eyed, and let their lips brush lightly together. Both boys reeled back as soon as possible and pretended to choke and spit.
Naruto could tell Sasuke hadn't enjoyed the kiss, but he couldn't say the same for himself. He was glad he had stolen Sasuke's first kiss.
*End Flashback*
Naruto slammed his head against the marble wall.
“Fine. I’ll do it.” He said, the Telling Sasuke part winning. He hopped down off the counter and made his way downstairs.
So what if Sasuke rejected him? At least he’d get it off his chest.
Naruto was shaking by the time he got downstairs. He grabbed a beer and stood next to Kiba.
“So you’re going to tell him?” Kiba could tell by his friend’s posture.
“Abso-fucking-lutely” Naruto said, and took a big gulp of the beer.
Sasuke stood with a group of guys Naruto didn’t recognize. Every so often, Sasuke would glance over at Naruto and smirk slightly. Naruto blushed each time. Sasuke patted one of the guys on the arm and walked off.
Naruto watched Sasuke go up the steps alone. He was walking fine, so Naruto could only assume Sasuke wasn't that drunk. Still, Naruto knew that Sasuke had a high alcohol tolerance and had probably had a lot to drink. Sasuke was alone. Meaning, Sakura wasn't with him, and was most likely passed out, drunk somewhere. Naruto smirked.
This was his chance...
The drink Naruto had been holding was downed quickly and thrown to the floor. He took a glance at Kiba and noticed the spiky haired man giving him the thumbs up. He pushed off of the bar and found his feet slowly inching their way towards the staircase as well.
He had dreamed of this moment forever and his heart swelled, realizing it was about to come true. If Sasuke rejected him, that was just fine. He just wanted Sasuke to understand how he really felt.
Naruto grabbed onto the railing and step by step reached the upper floor of the Uchiha mansion.
The hallway was completely deserted, save for a couple making out in the corner. Naruto had been to Sasuke's house enough times to know exactly where his room was. He knocked on the door, and received no answer from inside.
Swallowing, he slowly turned the knob and pushed the door open. Sasuke was lying, asleep on his bed. His drink lay spilled on the floor. Naruto smiled inwardly, Sasuke was cute when he slept.
He softly shut the door and tiptoed over to the king-size bed. He stood there for a few minutes, not really sure how he should do this. Should he wake Sasuke up, and only get yelled at and kicked out? Or say it to Sasuke while he was sleeping?
All Naruto really had to do was tell Sasuke he loved him. But did Sasuke have to hear it? Yes, Naruto thought, Yes he did. Naruto gulped again, and slowly crawled onto the bed, towards the sleeping raven.
Sasuke's head jerked towards Naruto unexpectedly and Naruto shrieked out loud. He instantly covered his mouth. Sasuke appeared to be sleeping still, so Naruto inwardly cheered.
Naruto's hands brushed against some of the sheets. Idly, he began to arrange that small section perfectly, getting completely sidetracked. Sasuke snored loudly for a moment.
But Sasuke doesn't snore... Naruto wondered. Maybe Sasuke had started snoring recently.
Naruto's breathing quickened; he had wasted too much time.
"Sasuke...” Naruto whispered, maybe he could get by with not saying it.
Sasuke's eyes fluttered open nearly two seconds later.
"N-Naruto..?" He said, astounded. He sat up, and leaned against the headboard.
"Sasuke, I need to confess something...It's been bugging me for a long while. And you've been my best friend...forever," His speech hitched. Sasuke's eyebrows rose. "What I'm about to tell you, you may not like."
Sasuke remained quiet, so Naruto took a deep breath and spoke.
"I'm in love with you." Naruto whispered out, his heart throbbing.
Sasuke stared, eyes wide, for a few moments. To Naruto, it felt like eternity and his hands began to fidget. He cast his eyes downward, waiting for Sasuke to say something, and began twisting his finger around a loose blanket strand.
Sasuke breathed, "You know...I kind of thought you always did...”
Naruto looked up, glad Sasuke hadn't rejected him. He had told Sasuke, and Sasuke was still his friend. Surprisingly, he began to laugh. He leaned against the headboard as well, and grinned his stupid grin.
Sasuke smirked, "Dobe." His hand reached up and cupped the blonde's chin. One of his fingers traced Naruto's lips.
Naruto immediately stopped laughing, and turned to face Sasuke.
"Sasuke?" He barely had time to speak, before Sasuke's lips were on his.
Naruto could feel Sasuke's tongue pressing against his lip, asking for entrance. His shocked eyes stared into Sasuke's. He opened his mouth and let Sasuke's tongue swoop in. Naruto's heart swelled inside his chest.
Naruto realized that this was Sasuke with his tongue down his throat. The blonde pulled back and stared into obsidian eyes.
“Sasuke...why?”
“Hn. Dobe, it’s not that hard to figure out.”
“Well…can you just tell me!?” Naruto said stubbornly.
“I’m in love with you too.” Sasuke said, and leaned forward for another kiss.
“But-“ Naruto started, only to be cut off by Sasuke's lips.
Who cared about why? All Naruto could think was 'Sasuke was kissing him!'
Naruto leaned forward, into the kiss and moaned.
'Sasuke was kissing him!' He repeated in his head.
He still couldn't believe it. Sasuke loved him.
Slowly, Sasuke pushed Naruto down - flush against the bed sheets. Naruto's eyes closed and his hands threaded in Sasuke's raven hair.
Idly, Naruto thought it didn’t matter if Sasuke was using him. This was possibly his last chance and it had turned out better than he'd imagined.

Sakura sat up in her stupor. She reeked of alcohol and had drool sliding down her chin. Looking around, she tried to find her boyfriend. No, not her boyfriend – they had broken up nearly two hours ago. To her dismay, he wasn't there. She hoisted herself up, and noted what was left of the party. At least three people were passed out.
Figuring Sasuke might've gone upstairs and fallen asleep, she made her way across the large living room and ascended the stairs. She was making it her mission to win back Sasuke.
She knew exactly where Sasuke's room was. She had slept in his bed multiple times. Not because they were having sex. No, Sasuke wanted to wait till marriage. But they used to make-out in his bed a lot. To Sakura, it felt like Sasuke was trying to forget about something or someone he couldn't have. Sakura had felt like she was just a rebound.
She opened his door quickly, and entered the room.
"Sas-Sas’ke, I wanna t-tell you - SASUKEEEE-KUNNNNN!"
Her screaming could be heard all over the mansion.
