Rules
Kakashi had rules. He had rules for everything. He had rules for running, fighting, reading, eating,dressing...he even had rules for sleeping.
But his strongest rules were about sex. In Kakashi's opinion, sex was supposed to be about release. No kissing, gentle touching, no caresses...Nothing that could make it intimate.
Kakashi's strictest rule; Never fall in love. Kakashi lived for his village, his students, his duties and rules. So why did he leave his front door unlocked, knowing that the traitor would come in through it?
Why did he let the other touch him? Kiss him? Caress him?
Why did he let him take charge and curl up next to him after the sex?
Why did he anticipate the other's arrival every night?
Why did the traitor's scent linger in his room so tantalizing it drove him half-mad?
He didn't want to answer these questions. His world was fragile, as breakable as thin glass. The truth would shatter it. He couldn't let that happen. Couldn't let his world break, couldn't let himself be broken. It was a luxory he couldn't afford.
He spent his days doing missions, fighting for his village, teaching and protecting his students.
Being the perfect shinobi.
During the day, he didn't think about his nightly indiscretions, didn't dwell on the numerous bite marks beneath his clothing. In the light of day, it never happpened. In the light of day, no rules were broken.
Under the shadow of darkness it was a diffrent story. Under the cover of night his body writhed aganist his lover's, his concious was pushed to the back of his mind, and his control broke.
He knew he was walking a fine line.
One wrong step and he would fall, one wrong step and he wold break.
He lay in his bed, waiting. Just as he did every night. He felt the traitor enter. There was no physical evidence of his entry, the traitor was too good a shinobi for that.
Never-the-less Kakashi knew. Both his eyes were closed, although his sharingan was whirling in expectation under the closed lid. His breathing was steady, controlled.
A second later the traitor, his lover, was in the room. Not a heartbeat had passed before Kakashi was behind the silver haired nin.
He rested his glove covered hands on the traitor's shoulders. Leaning close to him so he could inhale his scent. He felt a flash of anger that let itself be known with a low, dangerous growl in Kakashi's throat.
He could smell the hebi-teme on him. He could feel the silver haired traitor tense under his hands. So. He knew why Kakashi was angry. Kakashi growled again. He spun the other around violently. He crashed his lips to the others, his tongue marking, claiming, erasing every trace of the hebi-nin.
He could feel the other shinobi let go,could feel him melting in his arms. Could feel him admitting that he belonged to Kakashi.
Kakashi pushed him onto the bed.. He didn't prepare him, didn't give him time to adjust.he pushed into him ruthelessly. The lovemaking was was raw, rough intense...dangerously possesive. Their sounds filled the room, but no words were spoken.
They rarely were. Words made everything too real.
Words brought Kakashi's world dangerously close to breaking.
The silver haired trator whimpered as Kakashi drove into him repeatedly, incessantly.
The traitor knew his lover was angry because another had touched him and he relished the knowledge even as he felt the other almost split him in half.. he still came.
He always did when Kakashi touched him. No matter how rough or inconsiderate Kakashi was. Later when he lay in Kakashi's arms, his head on his lover's chest, he wondered how long this would go on.
He sighed. Dawn would come soon. He rose from his lover's embrace and dressed silently.
Kakashi watced him, the forbidden questions whirling in his mind. He pushed them away.
The traitor finished dressing. He walked over to Kakashi and pressed a close-mouthed kiss to his lover's lips. It was filled with regret and longing.
Kakashi pushed him away. No use feeling or thinking about what neither of them could have.
The traitor understood. A series of hand signes later and the traitor was gone.
Kakashi lay with his eyes fixed on the ceiling. Amid the turmoil of his feelings he knew.
He knew that the traitor would be back that night. He knew that he'd be back the next nigh as well. He knew that he'd spent the day following his rules, and he knew that he would leave the door unlocked.
Just as he knew that at night he would keep breaking the rules.
They both knew. They didn't need to talk about it. Or about anything. They just knew
