”Why can´t I make him come back home with me? Why can´t he see… that what he´s doing only leads to more death and destruction?” Naruto gulped down his colorful drink before mixing a refill.

He had just returned from another failed mission; trying, for the seventeenth time (but whose counting) to find and retrieve a certain stubborn Uchiha Sasuke from the claws of Orochimaru.

He had accepted Kakashi invitation to stop by for a drink, and both were now sitting on Kakashi´s couch; talking and drinking.

”Well, he has always been a stubborn kid. That´s the Uchiha blood that runs in his veins, Naru-kun… it is the same with Itachi.” The silver-haired nin tried to tell his blonde teammate.

“I know that, Kakashi… but he´s my friend… and I want to… no I need to save him from himself.”

“You can´t save those who doesn’t want to be saved… He will kill you for sure if you continue to follow him.” The copy-nin stated sadly.

“If that will make him wake up from this madness that rules his world… then so be it.” Naruto sighed.

“NO! You don´t mean that, Naruto!” Kakashi yelled.

“Sure I do… It´s not like I have anyone who really would miss me. Even Sakura-chan would still choose Sasuke over me.”

“F*** her and her bad judgment! What about Iruka-sensei, Tsunade… and what about… me. Doesn’t our… love for you count?” Kakashi grabbed Naruto´s shoulders and turned him around to face him.

“… You don´t mean that, Kakashi… don´t use the word love so easily, or it will loose its real meaning.”

Smack! Naruto raised his palm to cup his abused chin.

“HEY! Why did you smack me?!” Naruto cried.

“Because you are an idiot!” The older man leaned back and crossed his arms. “You act as if the world is crashing down on you… as if there is no one else in your life except that damn Uchiha!”

“HEY!” The blonde pouted.

“Stop living his life and start living your own, damn it!” Kakashi scolded the pouting blonde.

“I don´t know how.” Naruto whispered with a sad tone while empting his glass in one gulp before refilling the glass for the third time.

“…Explain it to me, will ya.”

“I have been following Sasuke´s trail for so long… I just don´t know how to… let go. What else is there left for me to do?” Naruto sighed deeply. “He was the first one who really saw me as his equal… as someone worthy. He didn´t care that I have the Kyuubi inside of me… Kakashi… I… I know that he has changed… I just don´t know how to continue from here.”

“Yare yare, Naru-kun. It is never easy to change things… even I have a hard time to change the way things are.”

“Really? You do? What would you like to change about yourself?” Naruto looked at his former teacher with a curious glint in his beautiful blue eyes.

“Are you planning on giving up on your perverted books?” The blonde chuckled.

“I would never give up on my beloved Icha Icha paradise. No, I wish that I could be more honest with my self; with my feelings.”

“What kind of feelings?” Naruto asked. The alcohol made him feel slightly lightheaded and lifted his dark mood.

“Oh, the feelings that tells me that I would like to comfort you, to make all your fears and worries go away.”

Naruto´s blue eyes grew wide at his former sensei’s honest words.

“I want to touch you, kiss you and whisper into your ear that I would do anything… anything to make you happy.” The silver-haired man leaned closer to the blonde man.

“… You want to make me… happy?” Naruto asked.

´Please let him say yes.` Kakashi´s mind screamed to him.

“If you let me, Naru-kun.” Kakashi slowly raised his hand to remove his mask and then moved to cup the blonde´s whiskered cheeks; dragging the younger man so close that their noses touched.

“Kakashi?”

“May I kiss you, Naru-kun?”

“…Yeah.” Naruto closed his eyes and leaned closer. ´Kakashi-sensei… wants to kiss me… please let this be real… and not only happening in a dream or because of the alcohol. `

Naruto then felt a soft pair of lips pres against his in a chaste kiss. So smooth, caring and soft that he felt the tears well up in his eyes.

“Naruto? You… you don´t want me to kiss you?” Kakashi whispered almost sadly.

“Please… tell me… that you´re not only doing this because of the booze we have been knocking down… please tell me that this is not only a one-night-stand; if it is… then don´t even start.” Naruto´s sobbing voice whispered.

Kakashi felt a stinging pain in his heart. Naruto had already gone through so much and Kakashi wanted nothing more that to make all those bad memories go away.

“I love you… I have, since we managed to revive Gaara. You showed me your true self; all your emotions, all your pain.” He embraced the smaller man and hugged him tightly against his chest.

“I don´t want a one-night-fling, I want to make you happy for as long as you´ll let me. You do so much for others… please let me do something good for you… please let me show you how much I care… show you how much I love you.” The silver-haired nin softly wiped the tears away from Naruto´s tanned cheeks with a thumb.

“… You really mean it, don´t you?” Naruto merely whispered.

“I do.” Kakashi felt Naruto´s arms wrap themselves around his neck; drawing their bodies closer together.

Their lips locked in a soft kiss that soon evolved into a more passionate one. Kakashi nibbled softly at Naruto´s lower lips, asking permission to deepen their kiss. Naruto answered by parting his lips and meeting the older nin´s tongue with his own.

They explored each other with hands and tongue; slowly tasting the sweetness of love and compassion that they both missed and needed so badly.

Kakashi scoped the younger man up into his strong arms and carried him bridal style into his bedroom. He laid the man; he had craved for so long, gently down upon the soft sheets without even breaking their heated kiss once.

“I want to show you that I love everything about you… Would you let me do that, Naru-kun?” He whispered seductively as he broke their kiss.

“Mmmmm, yes.” The blonde purred as he unzipped the green jounin jacket he wore. Naruto had been a jounin for almost two years now; another bump on his road that had been successfully filled up… which placed him a bit closer to fulfilling his dream; becoming the next Hokage.

Kakashi helped to undress Naruto, who was soon lying very naked and erect on the bed.

“You are so beautiful, Naru-kun.” The silver-haired nin did his best to memorize every little inch of golden skin, every inch of Naruto´s perfectly toned body… yes… he was perfect in Kakashi´s opinion… perfect… and all his.

The older man quickly undressed and crawled onto the bed. He trailed his beloved blonde´s body with his hands, from his feet up along the strong legs. He kissed the kneecaps before kissing, licking and nibbling his way up the muscled thighs, to the hips with the thin and very sensitive skin there.

He smiled as he felt his younger lover buck his hips instinctly as he played teasingly with those lovely blonde curls without touching Naruto´s throbbing need even once.

“So why did you say that?” Naruto looked at his lover with a puzzled expression in his beautiful blue eyes.

“I said so, because I will spend the rest of my life to demonstrate my affection, hunger and love for you, Naru-kun… and not only one single night.”

“… You really are a pervert, Kakashi…” The blonde grinned before their lips meet in a lovers kiss before they both drifted off into a peaceful sleep; happy that they finally found someone to love and hold.

Happy to know that neither of them would never be alone or unloved ever again.
