Prologue;

Naruto was feeling the worst pain that had ever been inflicted upon him his entire life...

Every inch of skin on his body felt like it had been burned off; because it had. Every rib felt broken, bruised and/or cracked; because it was... He couldn't feel his left leg or ether arm; and for that he was glad... His head felt like it was going to pop from blood pressure and pain; and he hoped it wouldn't.. He felt like he couldn't move an inch; and he didn't even bother to try.

He felt like he was going to die... And prayed to Kami that it would be soon.

Every breath, each shiver, even just laying still on the grass under him caused him more and more agony.. and the mere thought of moving, even to curl into a ball, made him give out preemptive whine of pain.

It never should have come to this...

He had caught up with Sasuke And had let Kyuubi out again. This time, he had lost control.. and somehow Naruto found himself in his 4-tail form. So now, he fucking hurt... It hurt so much. He couldn't stand it. Naruto wondered what he had done wrong during his 17-year long life to deserve this torture.. but nothing coherent came to mind.

He could feel his cells starting to reform, joining once again.. Draining his life away more and more.. and he knew this was how he was going to die.

He just knew it. Kyuubi had been draining his life force for years in order to keep him alive and well... 17 years of abuse, training, and transformations with deadly demon chakra had now caught up with him. Time to pay the reaper..

He had hoped it would have happened a few more years down the road.. On warm bed in Hokage tower, with his young son (he wasn't even going to hope to see his grandson) at his side. But it was not to be. The middle of a field, breathless and near shock from pain, all at the hand of his former best friend, was as good as he was going to get this lifetime.. this was how he was going to exit the world. And it terrified him.

It was over. All over... wet tears formed at his eyes and fell down his cheeks... and he suddenly found himself in even more pain. apparently salty tears stung when your face had no skin..

"... I see.. I think it's about time then.." came a voice from somewhere past his left foot.

'Sasuke?... Teme.. Inhuman, cruel, sadistic Teme.. Don't just stand there, kill me. Or do you want it to be slow and painful?' The figure loomed closer.. a spark of hope gleamed in Naruto's heart.

'That's right, Sasuke.. That's it.. just a few more steps..' he then stopped as he seemed to stare at Naruto and look him over.

'Be a good friend for once in your selfish life, Please.. Kill me...'

"Yes.. it's Definitely time.." Sasuke said, as he suddenly pulled out a scroll and bit his finger, drawing blood.

'What?... What the.. Hell is going on?..' Naruto mentally deadpanned, as his body suddenly shook violently from the pain..

He let out a gurgled and raspy sound that WOULD have been a scream if breathing hadn't hurt so much.. This lead to more tears, which lead to more pain, which lead to more shaking.. suddenly, Naruto's mind went blank with shock, and he felt like he was having convolutions.

"Hold on, Dode.. The calvary is coming.." Sasuke said, as the sound of two summoning seals went off... then faded. A silently and pregnant silent feel as Naruto stared in horror at the two new people that Sasuke had just summoned to his side. it was truly an icy cold plunge into reality.

"Well.. This is... Unexpected, uh?" The pony tailed blond in a red and black cloud robe said. Looking to the red haired, overly-Periced man standing to his left..

Naruto suddenly started to feel Panic. Sasuke had sold him out.. the fucking Teme sold him out. He was going to turn him over to the Akatsuki, Thus giving them the 9-tailed fox..

Sasuke betrayed him yet again.. If Naruto wasn't already dying, he SOOOO would have killed him.

"Deidara... Pein.." Sasuke said wordlessly. Pein blinked down lowly at the Naruto's fallen form. And oddly enough, a strange look of concern came onto his face. Naruto was immediately confused.

"You know.. We weren't expecting this for another few months.."

"Oh, well.. It's gotta happen sometime, Un?.."

"If you two don't mind, he'd about to so into shock or a coma, so.. If you please?.." Sasuke then pressed, ignoring how rude he sounded.

"Oops! Sorry!" Deidara then said, quickly moving towards Naruto, and kneeling by his side.. and started to made hands signs. Naruto once again started panicking.. and Deidara seemed not to notice. Naruto tried to fallow the hand signs, in order to try to get one clue as to what was about to happen to him.

His hand suddenly gripped the ground in horror.

Where they going to extract Kyuubi? Where they going to kill him? Was it going to make him hurt even more then he did now? What was going to happen?... Naruto nearly started to hyperventilate, despite the pain it caused him. And Deidara happily continued on with his hand sighs, despite the fact that he was supposed to be DEAD!!!

It seemed that Pein was the only one to see the horror and confusion in Naruto's eyes. Pein's look softened, and he spoken once again, this time, straight to Naruto.

"Stop panicking, and calm down Mattei.. We're not going to let you die."

'Wait, Mattei?!, WHAT?!!' Naruto was about to say something, It was then that Deidara finished his hand signs..

"Nighty Night, little Bro! When you wake up, everything will be ALL better!!" Deidara chirped, grinning in the way that only he could...

and it was then everything faded and went black, and Naruto fell into a Jutsu-induced sleep..

His Final thought; 'Well, this is fucked up...'
