Haha I finally restarted it, after like six months. Wow I suck. Haha. Well this chapter I really didn't change, I may later though.. It’s raw, but I’ll send it to my dear beta later.

It started out like everyday Sai, was on the floor playing around on his laptop. Naruto was laying on the couch staring into nothing. Some things never changed, no that wasn’t it. They changed so much, that this truly felt normal. But it wasn’t, and probably never would be again.

Sai looked up at his blond friend. "Naruto your supposed to pick Temari up from the bus station.”

Naruto got up and walked out, without a word.

Sai sighed to himself." What a pain.”

But this is how it was everyday Naruto was locked up inside himself most of the time. He wasn’t the same as he used to be, he wasn’t happy all the time. The occasions when he would grin and laugh was growing less and less.

Maybe Temari and the others coming would help him. Something had to happen and soon, other wise they may just lose Naruto completely.


-at the bus station -


Naruto leaned against the wall at the station. He had a few minutes still before Temari would be here. But he didn’t have anything else to do. He hated when everyone would worry about him, and he hated the pity. But most of all he hated himself. No, one understood and probably never would, and he couldn’t stand it when they tried.

"Naruto" Temari ran up to Naruto and wrapped him in her arms.

"Temari, how are you?" naruto returned the gesture, at least she stopped the depressing thoughts that were consuming him at the moment.

"Im fine. Oh Gaara and Kankuro will be here in a few days" she smiled as she pulled away, giving Naruto a quick look over. He hadn’t changed at all, he was still taller than her, well defined, sightly masculine. Short spiky blond hair, and deep blue eyes.

"ok"

"All right ill cook dinner. Since knowing you, you’ve probably only been eating ramen." She winked at Naruto, earning a chuckle from him.

"ah, you know me to well"

"Ok then well need to stop at a store before we head to your place. Oh and are you sure you want us staying with you we can get a motel"

"Don’t be like that Temari. I would be upset if you guys didn’t stay with me" Naruto frowned.

"Ok" she flung an arm around Naruto’s shoulder. "Shall we then, Naruto?”

"ya"


-at the store-


Naruto was waiting outside for Temari to get done. It was a shady neighborhood. But its not like Naruto was scared. In fact he enjoyed coming here, people usually assumed that he couldn’t fight. Then they were stupid enough to try and rob him, it always ended the same. The only thing they would get from it was a few broken bones, or something of the sort.

He looked across the street in the ally. One of the males there, kept staring at him. And it was starting to piss him off. if he didn’t stop Naruto would go over and punch the asshole In the face.

After a few moments they started calling him over there. ‘Just how stupid are they’ Naruto thought. He smirked as his eyes tinted red. ‘oh well, it gives me something to do till Temari's done.’

Naruto walked over there he knew what they wanted. But he still let them lead him into the ally. He wasn’t stupid, and they would regret it dearly.

"hey you wanna have some fun"

"Come on tell us your name, well take good care of you baby."

"......” A smirk spread across his features, this was going to be fun.

"Oh you wanna play with me" the guy smirked at Naruto.

"Something like that" The blond laughed darkly.

-outside the ally -

A group of males was walking down the street.

" Tenten said they guys who tried to attack her and hinata, were hanging out around here" said a boy with pale eyes.

"We should-"the boy with a girlish figure was cut off by a body flying and hitting the ground right in from of them.

And a blond emerging from the ally stopped the guy from getting up by slamming his foot down of the guys’ chest. Naruto leaned down ignoring the people who were staring. He pulled back his fist and hit the ground next to the guys’ head.


"Now you wanna repeat, what you said to me" Naruto greeted through his teeth. Being called baby made him mad, but being called a stupid son of a bitch, just sent him over the edge.

"NARUTO UZUMAKI"

Red eyes turned blue, and Naruto looked up, giving the girl a confused look.

" Quit teasing those losers and come on, I want t get dinner started.” Temari sighed.

Naruto stood up and started to walk off, completely ignoring what just happened.


Before the guy could crawl away, he was stopped by a guy with blue hair, and pointy teeth.” Hmm you not going any where"

"Naruto, Uzumaki" The younger stared at the males retreating back.

"What is it, foolish little brother, you have a crush" the male smirked at the death glare he received.

"Honestly Naruto why did you beat those guys." the girl crossed her arms.

" Because they pissed me off" Naruto sighed, he really didn’t mean too, actually it just happened, before he could really process it.

"everyone makes you angry"

"That’s not completely, true" Naruto gave his best smile.

" Naruto" Temari knew all to well, and it was a fake smile.

"What?"

"Nothing lets get back" she really wanted to help her blond brother but didn’t know how. How can you fix something that has been broken from the start.

“Why don’t you take a nap when we get back, I’ll wake you when im done cooking ok?” Temari smiled.

“Ok.” Naruto looked down at his feet, really he couldn't be fixed, he couldn't be saved. the sooner they gave up on him, the sooner he could give up on himself.

Naruto’s eyes slowly opened, He smelt something good. "Must be Temari, I should go say hi."

Naruto smirked as he stood, and made his way to the kitchen.

He stood in the doorway his arms crossed waiting for the woman to notice him. She hadn’t changed much since the last time he saw her. She filled out a bit more. Her brown hair tied up in four pig tales. She was tall, and very pretty.

" Ah good morning Naru-" Temari was taken back for a moment, you think she'd be used to this.

"What you’re not happy to see me." The blond’s smirk turned into a devious grin.

"Kyuubi."

"That’s my name." Blood red eyes’ had replaced deep blue. Kyuubi smirked, as he made his way to Temari, He quickly wrapped his arm around her waist.

"So what are you making me." he blew a hot breath across her cheek.

Temari pulled away. "It’s not for you, it’s for Naruto and Sai." She crossed her arms and glared at Kyuubi.

"Well now that's not nice." Kyuubi approached her again. Temari blushed, Kyuubi was just inches from her face.

"Same body, same everything. So what’s the big deal? ."

"The deal is you’re not Naruto, and you care for no one but your self."

" So, it doesn’t mean I can’t take good care of you." The blond roughly pressed his lips against Temari's.

Temari caught Kyuubi in her arms and looked up to see sai holding a frying pan.

"Sai."

Sai sat the pan down." Naruto’s not going to be happy when he gets up. he really hates it when Kyuubi gets control."

Sai help Temari carry the blond to the couch, gently laying him down.

She wiped the hair from his face. "After all this time theirs still nothing we can do."

"All we can do is be here for him." Sai stared at the sleeping form.
