Fallen
Chapter One
It was raining softly in the dark of the night. Small droplets of crystal clear water streamed down in ribbons onto the slightly reflective surface of the window pane. Cobalt eyes watched as a droplet slid down the smooth surface until it met its demise on the widow seal.
It was just like that night the raven haired boy thought as thunder streaked across the sky. Cold winter rain reminded him of how screwed up his life had become.
“Ne, nii-san.” The raven finally spoke after snapping out of his daydream.
“Hm?” his raven haired sibling answered him from his spot near the fire. Spiky pieces of the younger raven’s hair bobbed as he turned around and sat down in the window seat. The flames from the fire cast a surreal look around the room draping most of it in shadows. A long haired raven sat in a crimson pillowed chair facing the fire.
“How long are we going to be staying here?” The elder long haired raven stopped reading and shifted his crimson gaze up into his younger brother’s stormy blue eyes.
“I don’t know Sasuke.” the younger sibling was about to question that further when the door opened and their mother walked in. She was wearing a warm looking sweater and a pair of dark blue jeans.
“Sasuke-chan, please go put on a warmer shirt, I don’t want you catching a cold.” Mikoto said as she stood with her hands on her hips. She watched her elder son while her younger nodded his head.
“Hai!” the eight year old spoke as he hopped down from the window seat and passed his brother who was still reading by the fire. As soon as the eight year old was out of the room Mikoto turned to her eldest son who had stopped reading and was regarding her with mild curiosity.
“Itachi, how is he?” Their worried mother asked her eldest son.
“After watching his father die? I don’t know how I would have been at his age.” Itachi’s interest had gone back to the book, but he wasn’t ignoring his mother.
“I’m worried about him…” Mikoto said as her pained ebony eyes watched her eldest son.
“As am I but unless we leave this place Sasuke will never stop having those nightmares.”
“I forget how wise you can be Itachi-chan…” the elder sibling snorted at that. He hated it when his mother called him that. It made him feel like a child. He was twelve years old damn it.
“But you forget, Fugaku was your father too.” She continued. Itachi remained cool and distant. He hadn’t really known his father. Sasuke had received all his love and attention while Fugaku taught Itachi how to be ruthless and cold in the business world.
“I am all too aware of that Mother, and before you ask, I am fine.”
“You are only twelve.” She said in her soft voice.
“Aa.” He answered before going back to his book.
“Kaa-san! When are we leaving?” Sasuke asked as he looked his mother in the eye. Mikoto sighed and smiled as warmly as she could at her youngest.
“As soon as possible Sasuke-chan.” The younger Uchiha sibling wrinkled his nose at that but nodded to his mother anyway.
“Ok.”

“Oh wow!” a high pitched male voice nearly screamed out. A blond haired man chuckled lightly at his son’s obvious excitement. He was wearing tan slacks and a white button up shirt with a pair of dress shoes.
“Sure beats Suna ne, Naruto?” the elder blond said as he looked at his son. The young adult looked at his father with dazzling azure colored orbs, excitement and mirth filling them to the brim. Unlike his father who was dressed in light colors, the son wore black jeans, black and white chuck tailors and a mesh long sleeved shirt with a black tank top over top of it.
“The house in Suna aint got shit on this house.” The long haired blond said as he took a step forward.
“I’m happy you like it.” Naruto darted to the trunk of his father’s blue ford tempo to grab his suit case.
“Oh wow I can’t wait to see what my room looks like!” The blond haired boy cried out in excitement. The older blond caught movement in the corner of his peripheral vision. The curtain in the next house over just moved. Naruto threw his long ponytail over his shoulder and looked up at his father for a moment.
“Do you think they are going to be trouble?” The younger blond asked as his tongue played with the silver ring pierced through the right side of his lip. The elder shaggy haired man scanned the off white house next to theirs and shook his head.
“There is only one in there, besides he seems to want to avoid company.”
“Hai hai, oi, Minato, can you help me with this?”
“Naruto! What have I said about calling me that! I’m your father.” Minato spoke with mach hurt. Naruto chuckled lightly at his father’s antics before speaking again.
“Gomen, demo, half of this stuff is yours tou-san.” Naruto chuckled when the elder man sighed.
“So ka so ka.”

Sasuke watched with mild curiosity as the two blond men moved boxes into the house next to his. It had been around four years since anyone had lived in that house. He picked up his cell phone as it went off, abyssal eyes never leaving the pair.
“Nani.” He spoke in an irritated droned voice.
“What a disrespectful way to answer your phone Sasuke.” The raven haired teen sighed as he closed the curtain and moved over to the sofa.
“I was expecting you; I have what you asked for.” The young raven spoke in a bored voice.
“Hn. I have another job for you as well.”
“Sending it now.” Sasuke said as he worked his way up the old, yet good looking, steps that lead to the master bedroom. He pushed his door open with his left hand and held his phone with his right. He sat down in his black leather computer chair and switched hands as he flicked his computer off of standby mode.
“Slowpoke.”
“Asshole.”
“I love you too little brother.”
“Fuck off.” Itachi’s deep chuckle filled the phone. Just after he had finished telling Itachi what to do his instant messenger window popped up.
“Did you know someone finally bought that house next door?”
“Oh? I take it they have caught your elusive attention.” Sasuke sighed at that. Ever since they had been orphaned Itachi had grown…less ‘superior’ to his younger brother. Their mother had died two years after their father.
“By the way Itachi, this better not be some of your supernatural bull shit. I worked hard for this information I’m sending you.”
“No I assure you Sasuke, this job is legit.” with a few mouse clicks, the information that Sasuke had been working on for months was sent to his elder brother via his internet connection. A notification popped up through his email and Sasuke quickly clicked on it.
“You have got to be kidding me. There is no way I’m doing this.” Sasuke growled at his brother through the phone.
“All you have to do is infiltrate Orochimaru’s bar and observe. Do not come into contact with him. I want a report two months from now.”
“Your Boss is going to be pissed if he found out you were using your little brother for recon missions.” Sasuke said as he leaned back in his chair and sighed.
“Leader does not need to know. Don’t get caught.” Sasuke growled as his brother hung up on him. Sasuke stood and walked to the window in his room. He watched as the two men shuffled around in the kitchen. He closed the curtain and went to get ready for his recon work.

Naruto sighed blissfully as he stuck his head under the spray. Blissful may have been an understatement. Azure orbs closed as tanned hands caught in long sun kissed wheat colored hair. Hot steamy water washed over hard tanned muscles and down over washboard abs to streak hotly through golden curls.
On the opposite side, the same water snaked down a tanned back and over parallel scars ten inches long and a half an inch wide and down over well sculpted mocha colored globes of flesh. Suddenly a tanned fist struck hard on the cool blue tiles of the shower causing it to spider web and pieces to fall to the tiled floor.
“Fucking Snake Bastard!”
“Oi Naruto, are you ok?” sky blue orbs snapped open and the youth looked at his fist. Long elegant black nail polished fingernails were piercing his palm and there were cuts from the tiles on his knuckles.
“Hai.” He answered slowly calming himself.
“Alright, just to let you know dinner’s ready.” Naruto stuck his hand under the spray and watched the red liquid of life turn pink and disappear all together.
“Hai.”
Naruto would go hunting tonight. That snake bastard was going to pay.
