“Ne ttebayo” Naruto grumbled as he opened his eyes.
“Oi Naruto, wake up baka we’ll be late” Sakura yelled.
Today was a big day for the people of Konoha; it would be a day that everyone will talk about for years to come – the wedding of the lone Uchiha. He was to wed Sakuras’ best friend Ino Yamanaka.
Sakura and Naruto had been roommates ever since they graduated.
Naruto slowly rolled off his bed and reluctantly went to the bathroom.
‘Why does that teme have to get married to that … that’ Narutos’ train of thoughts were interrupted by Sakuras’ nagging.
“Oi Oi Sakura-chan I’m coming” Naruto drawled at her.
Naruto stepped out of the bathroom to the sight of a stunningly dressed Sakura. The ninja girl wore a white, strapless, body-hugging dress that swept the floor. He was speechless. She knocked the wind out of him. She reminded him of the first time he saw Sasuke, then his heart sank. ‘The journey to the Hokages’ building was strangely silent’ thought Sakura as she walked to meet Ino who was down the hall from the Hokages’ office with Mr. and Mrs. Yamanaka.
‘Knock! Knock! Knock!’ Sakura knocked on the door, awaiting approval to enter. She was greeted by a teary eyed Mrs. Yamanaka, who gingerly escorted her to Inos’ side. Ino looked lovely; she wore a lilac gown that had the longest bridal trail that Konoha has ever seen. She looked like she stepped out of a bridal poster. There weren’t words to describe her beauty at this point. Sakura’s eyes welled up with tears, “Ino-chan you look …so…so…pretty!” Sakura screamed as the two girls burst out in childish giggles.
Down the hall Naruto knocked on Sasuke’s door. With each knock he had flashbacks of times they spent together. Times that were so precious, times that were etched in Naruto’s memory and times that Sasuke couldn’t recall. For weeks Naruto wondered if he had imagined it all but the sad reality is that Sasuke had lost his memory when he got injured in a battle six months ago and recovered all of it save his secret life with Naruto.
The door opened slightly and Naruto took it as a hint he can enter. He entered the room, which was very dark; the curtains were drawn with only a strip of sunlight permeating the room.
“Umm Sasuke-kun…why are you sitting in the dark, aren’t you getting ready?” a curious boy asked.
“I…I was…but …never mind…” Sasuke let his words just fade into the air.
‘Is he having second thoughts?’ Naruto heart’s skipped a beat. Naruto swallowed hard. He wanted so bad to tell Sasuke of their prior relationship but was not sure how this would sound to the new Ino-loving-Uchiha. Naruto was an emotional mess on the inside at this point. Could he risk trying to remind his love of their past and loose him forever, could he dash there hopes of the entire village of wanting the revival of the Uchiha clan? Naruto felt sick. For once he did not know what to do.
“N-Naruto-kun are you alright?” the Uchiha asked as he put on his jacket.
Naruto raised his head to see one of the most beautiful sights on earth. Naruto felt as though his lungs were being constricted. Sasuke looked divine in a pure white tuxedo, he glowed. Naruto swallowed hard, his face felt flushed. He basked in the beauty that was in front of him.
“Naruto…are you alright?” Sasuke asked again bringing Naruto back to reality.
“Hai…Sasuke-kun” Naruto replied “I’m just hungry”
The Uchiha smirked.
“N-Naruto-kun” Sasuke said in almost a whisper “will you do me the honour of pinning this on for me?”
“S-sure…s…sasu…” Naruto looked as though he was being drained of all his colour. Sasuke held a small ‘orange’ artificial flower that Naruto gave to him on their first date. Tears were welling up in the blond boy’s bright blue eyes. He was at a lost for words. ‘Does he even know the significant of that flower?’ Naruto asked himself.
“Well …” Sasuke said, jolting Naruto from his thoughts. Sasuke was now standing mere inches from the blonde.
“Hai” Naruto said feeling his stomach do endless flips. He took the flower with shaking hands. He fumbled many times, whilst trying to pin the ‘love-token’ on Sasuke- his love token.
“Let me” Sasuke said with dancing eyes. Naruto remembered falling asleep and waking up to those eyes. Sasuke took the flower from Naruto shaking hands. Walking past him reaching for the door Sasuke whispered…

“I REMEMBER THE NIGHT YOU PINNNED THIS ON ME DOBE”

Part 2

Naruto stood in shock. The closing of the door drove the words to his core. ‘He remembers?’ Naruto thought. Bursting through the door, Naruto ran down the hall in search of his love. Running through the hall Narutos mind was racing ‘why, why is he doing this… doesn’t he love me?’

Meanwhile on Hokage Mountain their fellow ninja took their seats to usher on the proceedings of the milestone event. Members of Rookie 9 stood chatting with each other, along with members of Team Gai and two of the Sand siblings.

(Gaara isn’t a socialite so he was off somewhere)

“It is so good to see our fellow ninja brought together in the springtime---” Lee was cut off by Neji who shot him a deadly glare.
“What’s wrong Neji-chan” Lee said chiding Neji; who walked off.
“Aaaah… so Sasuke finally decided to take the step with Ino-chan” Kiba said to the gathered few.
“Aai…Aai” Shino said. The usually silent Aburame jolted the crowd with his jubilant tone. “What!! Doesn’t everyone get happy at weddings?!!” the usually quiet boy said.
Akamaru who was suited for the occasion with a bowtie barked his surprise also. The group laughed at the Nin dog who scratched relentlessly at the bowtie.
“People of Konohagakure” a loud voice said.
“Will you please take your seats for the ceremony to begin” The Godaime Hokage Tsunade said.

“Sasuke!! Sasuke-kun!!” Naruto yelled as he ran through the halls. A barrage of tears flowing down his beautiful face. Thoughts of all kind rushing through his head.
“Naru-chan” said a nonchalant voice. Sasuke stood in the doorway of a dark and seemingly empty room.
“Why! Why how could you do this to …”
Naruto felt warm lips envelope his, begging entrance.
“Teme!!” Naruto screamed, pushing Sasuke away, tears still flowing out of his sky blue orbs.
SLAP!!!!!

“You have no right… absolutely no right to touch me without an explanation” Naruto yelled.
“I … I HATE YOU….how could you do this teme, after all we’ve been through” the blond sobbed.
At this point Sasuke had heard enough of Narutos childish whining. He pinned Naruto to the adjacent wall.
“Listen to me Naru-chan” Sasuke said.
“No… NO!! Leave me alone. I HATE YOU” Naruto screamed pushing Sasuke away.
With that he started running, leaving tear drops in his wake. Sasuke felt his little Uchiha heart sink.
‘Naru-chan you never listen’ Sasuke thought as he chased after his love.

“Sasu-teme” Naruto chided.
“Umm…Yes Naru-chan” was the lazy reply.
“Do you love me Sasu-kun?” Naruto purred.
“You know I do Naru-chan. I tell you that everyday”’ Sasuke said as he tightened their embrace.
“Hai… but I can’t get enough of your love Sasu-kun. You have taken care of me ever since I can remember” Naruto said snuggling closer to his lover.
“And I will for the rest of our lives” Sasuke said as he lulled his sweetheart to dreamland. Which he was most certain revolved around an Ichiraku ramen stand.

“Was it all lies?” Naruto cried out loud as he sat with his knees to his chest.
“Naru-chan” a breaking voice said.
“Go away!! Teme”
“Naru-chan I can explain” Sasuke pleaded.
Naruto stood to walk away, but stopped mere inches from Sasuke.
“what are you doing to me” Naruto protested as he internally willed his limbs to obey him. With those words said the laziest ninja in all of Konoha stepped from behind a tree.
“Baka listen to the Uchiha and don’t be so troublesome” Shikamaru said.
“Shika-kun let me go!!” Naruto almost barked.
“Oi oi don’t call me Shika-kun” Shikamaru fumed as a blush stormed over his face, at the pet name he was unceremoniously given by Kiba.
‘Shika-kun’ Sasuke thought, ‘I’ll have to check that out’ < sasuke smirks internally>
“No… Naruto-kun… listen to me. I love you.” Sasuke whispered ever so sweetly as a single tear streamed down his pale cheek.
‘NANI!! Sasuke-teme crying!!!’

“I LOVE YOU!! Naruto-kun” Sasuke said again with more authourity.
“Then why…why Sasu-kun” Naruto said with trembling lips.

With that the few inches between them was no more. Sasuke captured Narutos quivering lips in a kiss so passionate it made Shikamarus’ pants feel a size too small.
“Tell me teme, tell me why…” Naruto whispered.
“I did it for you” Sasuke said
“… I … had no intention of hurting you… you are my special person” Sasuke said now with his beautiful onyx eyes flooded with tears.
“Nani! How did you do this for me?!” Naruto asked bewildered.
“I see the pain in your eyes Naru-chan but don’t judge me before you hear the whole story” Sasuke said.

“Don’t you think he should know…Uchiha” asked Mr. Yamanaka.
“No… I trust he will understand when the time comes” said Sasuke.
“What if you lose him forever” asked Mrs. Yamanaka.
Sasuke thought of the Yamanakas words. He milled them over in his mind a final time and gave his ohh so sexy smirk and said
“I know my Naru-chan, if he sees that I’m doing this for our relationship, he’ll forgive me.”
“By Kami, I hope you’re right Uchiha” Mr. Yamanaka said. ‘You sure as hell hope no one will be comforting your little fox he thought.
As if reading Yamanakas thoughts Sasuke scowled
“Are you sure you want to this Ino-chan” Sasuke asked
“Of course Sasuke-kun, anything for a friend” Ino smiled.
The two Yamanakas smiled as they agreed to marry their one and only daughter to the lone Uchiha. This marriage was to be ways for Ino to make one of her main dream come true even in the slightest way possible. She was to be the surrogate mother of the Uchiha heir.

Sasuke explained to Naruto what took place and why he did it. By now Sasuke was a bit ashamed of himself for being so surreptitious.
“I am so sorry Naru-chan” Sasuke said sobbing “I never meant to hurt you, never meant to break your heart.”
Naruto stood as though in shock. Then a soft smile edged his flawless face.
“Oi …love birds the ceremony is about to begin…Godiame would be very upset if we are late” and with that said Shikamaru walked away muttering something along the lines of sexy blonds and an angry medic.
“So will you come to the wedding Naru-chan” Sasuke asked almost pleading.
“I won’t miss it for all the ramen in Fire Country” Naruto said with a goofy smile.
They both smiled and kissed passionately as they walked to the Hokage Mountain, hand in hand.
“Sasu-teme… why did you choose Ino-chan” Naruto asked a bit confused. “Didn’t you always used to say she was more psychotic than Sakura-chan?”
“Hai… but I chose her because I wanted our child to at least have some physical features that resembled your own… you know…the blond hair, blue eyes” Sasuke smirked weakly at the blond boy.
“Hmm…ok” Naruto smiled contentedly “You seem to have thought this out well teme.”
