Confessions
With a soft sigh, Naruto turned his face up to the moon shining overhead, a silvery beacon in the velvet black sky. His eyes glowed beneath the moonlight’s soft caress, revealing the shadows that haunted their sapphire depths.
Sasuke was back.
It was hard for Naruto to believe that after all those years of hoping, fighting, and failing he had actually succeeded in bringing his long lost comrade home. He rubbed his face, running his hands through his spiky blonde hair. And shouldn’t he feel better about it? He should be bouncing off the walls, grinning maniacally and generally driving everyone insane. Yet here he was, sitting in Team 7's old training ground in the middle of the night, and he was far from happy.
With another sigh, Naruto rolled to his feet. Hands in his pockets he stepped off the branch he’d been perched on, enjoying the rush of air against his face as he dropped to the ground. He landed in a half crouch, feet silent on the light sprinkling of grass that had sprung to life at the base of the tree. In an unconscious gesture he rested one hand against the tree he’d just vacated, caressing the deep scars etched into the smooth bark. He could still remember putting them there.
Still touching the tree, Naruto took in the training ground, seeing the past through his mind’s eye. Things had been so much simpler back then. Kakashi was always late, Sakura was always mooning over Sasuke, and Sasuke was always trying to prove just how much of a dobe Naruto was. A fond smile touched Narrate’s lips. “Those were the days,” he murmured under his breath, before allowing his shoulder’s to slump. “What happened?” he asked himself, his voice falling flat in the soft silence that surrounded him.
In the days when it seemed like Sasuke would never return, Naruto turned Team 7's old training ground into his retreat. It had been his first home of sorts, where he’d gotten to know his first real family. The happy memories of training together had been a balm on the gaping wound of Sasuke’s betrayal. And now the Uchiha was back, and those distant memories were no longer enough to soothe him.
Drawn by some invisible force, Naruto left the shadowed sanctuary of the trees and casually strode out onto the open field. Hands once again shoved in his pockets, he moved across the large field to the three wooden poles near the water’s edge, silent sentinels to memories long gone. He could still remember the day Kakashi had tied him to the middle post for failing to grab a bell. It was the day their teacher had taught them the importance of team work, and how to rely on one another.
Naruto clenched his fist, bowing his head before the weight of memories and new realizations. He didn’t know when things had begun to change. It had happened so slowly, creeping up on him until it was too late, his new feelings locked around his heart in a strangle hold. He supposed it was bound to happen. Sasuke had been his rival, his friend, and his enemy. It would only complete the circle if he were his...
Naruto shook his head, closing his eyes against his own feelings. “When did things change?” he asked himself again, voice gone hoarse. He hadn’t realized how far gone he was until he’d seen Sasuke for the first time in months, when he was fighting the Akatsuki. After so long, seeing him had brought down an avalanche of fear, rage, elation, and worst of all...desire.
He reached out to touch the smooth pole, keeping his eye closed. No, not just desire, but an overpowering lust, the need to touch Sasuke burning through him with the force of one of the dark eyed youth’s fire balls. The fervent need to lock their mouth’s together and test the Uchiha’s strength against his own. The need had been so strong Naruto had been frozen in shock, taking precious moments to remember he was in the middle of a heated battle.
With a desperate sound, Naruto slammed his fist into the pole, ignoring the flash of pain as his knuckles tore and bled, the coppery scent of his blood filling the air. He knew it was stupid, insane even. Sasuke had refused to even acknowledge their friendship, determined to cut Naruto out of his life if that was the price to pay for ultimate power. Anything to destroy Itachi, the brother who took everything. If he knew how deep Naruto’s feelings really ran, he would be disgusted, or even worse, watch him with dark, mocking eyes that saw all, and turned away still.
In spite of that, Naruto couldn’t stop thinking about his first glimpse of Sasuke during the final battle. Just the memory was strong enough to take his breath away, and send heat rushing south, much to his consternation. Dark hair as soft as a whispered promise; skin as pale as a moonbeam reflected against the water’s surface. The Uchiha had been wearing a shirt that opened up all the way down to his waist, leaving a long stretch of flawless skin exposed. Lean hands clutching a kunai with deceptive strength; lashing out with the speed of a striking snake.
After the battle, when the Akatsuki had finally been vanquished, Naruto had barely been able to look Sasuke in the eye without wanting to drag him down and have his way with him. The whole way back to the village, Naruto must have spoken only a handful of words to his former teammate. Making a low sound in his throat, he gripped his hair. He knew the others had been surprised by his behavior, and worried about him, but he couldn’t help it. He'd spent so long thinking of the Uchiha as his rival, then enemy, only to have him return to the village and discover that his feelings had deepened into forbidden depths. In this situation, Naruto was pretty sure he was allowed some time to himself.
Thinking of the party he’d ditched so that he could have that time, Naruto winced, scratching the back of his head. “Sorry Sakura-chan,” he whispered apologetically. He hadn’t really wanted to go to the party anyway, since Sasuke was the guest of honor. The last thing Naruto needed right now was to see Sakura fawning all over the other man, especially with the way he was feeling lately. Lust he could deal with, but jealousy was an emotion that he wanted no part of. Especially since Sakura deserved every moment she could get, waiting as long as she had.
You waited just as long, a voice whispered in the back of his mind.
“Kakashi told me you would be here.”
Absorbed in his own thoughts, Naruto hadn’t sensed the other man’s silent approach, and stiffened, the only sign of his surprise. Against his will his heart leapt at the sound of the Uchiha’s low voice; the deep, smooth tones reaching deep into Naruto’s chest and twisting. There was darkness in that voice, a sure sign that the man standing behind him was no longer the dark eyed youth from the past; his rival. This Sasuke was someone else, some new creature born of revenge, rage, and lust for power.
And in spite of all that, he had decided to return home. It was enough to leave Naruto grasping at straws, struggling to find a place for this stranger who wore his best friend’s face, and made him forget how to breathe.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto shoved his new feelings down and locked them away, covering the shadows in his eyes with the bright light of his never ending enthusiasm. Once he was sure none of his inner turmoil was present, he turned, smiling widely. “Hey Sasuke! Shouldn’t you be at Sakura’s party? She is holding it for you, you know!”
Naruto tried to remember how to swallow as he looked at his long lost friend. The moonlight was good to Sasuke. Beneath its touch his dark hair gleamed blue black, pale skin glowing against the contrast of his dark features. He was wearing the same shirt and shorts from the old days, only instead of blue and white, they were both a solid black. Naruto doubted he would have been able to see him if it weren’t for his skin. The only thing missing was his Konoha hitai-ite.
Sasuke simply watched him, face impassive. When he did speak, his voice was carefully monotone, holding none of the familiar disdain or derision. “You have been avoiding me.”
Naruto’s eyes widened, and then he chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. “Don’t be ridiculous Sasuke. I’ve been tracking you for three years, why would I start to avoid you now that I’ve finally got you to come home?”
Sasuke’s brow furrowed at Naruto’s evasion. But instead of pressing, he turned away, looking over their old training grounds. “Kakashi told me that you’ve been spending a lot of time here. Why is that?”
Naruto only shrugged, hands linked behind his head. “I’ve been training, and I didn’t see any reason to seek out another training ground.” He smirked, blue eyes twinkling. “Shouldn’t you be getting back? Sakura is going to be pissed if she finds out her precious Sasuke-kun didn’t stick around for his own party.”
Fixing the blonde with a withering stare, Sasuke turned to face him, hands shoved into his pockets. “I know you’re a dobe, but I didn’t take you for a coward.”
Naruto bristled, hands fisting as he resisted the urge to smash the other man’s face in. Or so he told himself, but the blonde had the suspicion that he would be more interested in doing other things if he managed to get his hands on Sasuke. So, no touching it was. “What are going on about, you asshole! Pissed that I didn’t go to your stupid party!?”
Sasuke only snorted, watching Naruto with dark eyes. “Don’t play stupid, Naruto. The other’s may buy the brainless act, but we both know you’re smarter than you look.”
The first signs of panic skittered down Naruto’s spine, urging him to attack the source of his discomfort. Instead, he took a deep breath, letting his arms fall to his side, straightening to return Sasuke’s intent gaze. “Well that’s a relief. Its good to know that you haven’t changed completely. You’re still an ass.” In spite of the insult in his words his voice was fond, unconsciously running his hand through his spikes once again.
“And you’re a dobe.”
Silence fell between them, broken only by the cheerful chirping of the crickets in the background. After a long moment, Naruto cocked his head to the side. “You said Kakashi told you where I was. Why were you looking for me?”
“I wanted to ask you a question.”
Naruto perked up, “What did you want to ask me?”
“Will you fight me?”
The blonde blinked, taken back by the Uchiha’s request. “What?”
Sasuke remained impossible to read, merely restating his question with deliberate patience. “I said, will you fight me?”
Confused, Naruto frowned. “Why do you want to fight me? You just got back.”
The Sasuke of old would have looked away, muttering his response under his breath. This one pinned Naruto with his black gaze, as if trying to force the desired response from Naruto’s lips. “The last time we fought, neither of us had discovered our true strength. I...wish to see what you have become.” His words were solemn, once again devoid of the familiar derision.
Naruto stared at him, eyes narrowed. Then he nodded. “Fine, I will fight you.” He held up a hand, pointing a finger at Sasuke. “But under one condition.” He didn’t wait for Sasuke to respond. “No jutsus.”
He didn’t have to elaborate his reasons for making that decision. Both were very aware of each other’s skills, and to use them now would only alarm the rest of the village and cause an untold amount of ruckus. So they would keep it to fists and kunai. It would prove an interesting test of stamina.
Sasuke nodded. “Agreed. No justus.”
In spite of his surprise at the dark ninja’s ready acquiescence, Naruto shifted into a ready stance. “Good.” In a blur of movement he launched himself at Sasuke, who blocked his kick with a raised arm. Before the Uchiha could retaliate, Naruto had already retreated and charged from a new angle. Back and forth they traded blows, blocking some, and grunting when they failed to block others. They moved across the field in an intricate dance of violence, limbs thrusting and parrying, both moving so fast they were merely blurs of color to the naked eye.
At one point Sasuke caught Naruto across the jaw, sending him flying back. He loomed over Naruto’s fallen form, eyes narrowed as he stared down at the blonde. “Tell me why you have been avoiding me,” he demanded, clearly unwilling to let the question go.
Throwing his legs up and out, Naruto regained his footing, scowling. “I told you dumbass! I’m not avoiding you!” He lashed out with a sharp spin kick aimed for Sasuke’s face, only for his leg to get caught in mid-air, Sasuke’s hand locked around his ankle. As if by thought alone a kunai appeared in Naruto’s hand and he lashed out with the sharp blade.
Sasuke leapt back and out of reach, releasing Naruto’s leg. Vaulting forward onto his hands, Sasuke spun his legs around, forcing Naruto to give ground as he sought to block the dark-haired man’s powerful strikes. Flipping back onto his feet, he caught Naruto’s wild punch, using the other man’s momentum to throw him over his hip. “Lying doesn’t become you, dobe. You’ve barely said two words to me since fighting the Akatsuki.” He grunted as he took a sharp kick to his side, but made the blonde pay by delivering a sharp palm strike to the other man’s chest. “Why is that?”
“I brought you back for Sakura!” Naruto yelled, releasing a flurry of kunai. “Why don’t you go interrogate her!” His throat ached with the words he refused to say, squeezing his heart in a vise of emotions that could not be expressed.
Sasuke’s expression darkened, and his tactics became faster, more brutal. He slashed at Naruto’s middle with a kunai, slicing open the jacket to reveal the muscled stomach underneath. “So you’re saying the only reason you wanted me back was because of Sakura?” His words were hard, with edges sharp enough to cut.
Naruto scowled, narrowly dodging a kick that would have cracked a few of his ribs. “What the hell has gotten into you, you bastard! Why does it matter why I wanted you back? The point is that you’re home, and if you try to leave again I’ll break both your legs, see if I don’t!”
“As if I you could,” Sasuke shot back, grunting as they locked the hilts of their kunai together. The two of them strained as they sought to over power the other, sandaled feet sliding over the soft grass as they struggled to find a decent foot hold. “And I see no reason for me to stay.” His words were cold, dark eyes glinting in the moonlight.
Hurt lashed through Naruto like barbed wire, cutting his heart to ribbons. Then rage followed the hurt, blazing through him until it filled his veins with sizzling heat. With a snarl he lashed out, satisfaction thrumming through him when his fist caught Sasuke’s cheek and sent the other man flying back. “You fucking bastard!” He leapt forward, spinning in mid-air to slam his foot against the side of the Uchiha’s head. Sasuke blocked the hit at the last minute, stumbling back. Naruto advanced on him, “How can you say that!”
Sasuke straightened, refusing to back away beneath the force of Naruto’s anger.
“Even after you left I refused to give up on you, even when everyone else was telling me to let you go. That it was for the best that you had left when you did.” The blonde continued to lash out, no longer even aware when his punches hit flesh or were blocked. “But I wouldn’t give up. No matter how many times we failed to find you, I kept trying to bring you back!”
“It should have been obvious to you that I did not want to come back,” Sasuke stated calmly. “I made my choices..”
“And damned the consequences!” Naruto said, cutting Sasuke off. “You didn’t care what it did to the rest of us. Sakura cried for days, and even Kakashi was affected. But that didn’t matter, as long as you got your stupid revenge!”
Furious, Naruto aimed another punch for the Uchiha’s face. He snarled in surprise when a pale hand gripped his wrist, bringing him to a jarring halt. He opened his mouth to yell only to have the words strangled in his throat, stolen by strong fingers twining in the blonde spikes at the base of his neck. Naruto gasped as he was pulled tight against Sasuke’s body, the rage fading as his blue eyes widened with confusion and surprise.
Sasuke lowered his head to brush his lips against Naruto’s cheek. “And how did you feel...Naruto?”
Naruto struggled to gather his thoughts, his mind muddled by the feel of Sasuke’s strong fingers twining in his hair, gently tugging. The feel of Sasuke’s lips against his cheek burned through him, until all he wanted to do was press himself into the firm body hovering a tantalizing distance away. He could feel Sasuke’s heat seeping through his clothes, making it difficult to breathe. “I...I wanted to hate you...” he murmured, hardly daring to breathe in case their chests brushed against each other. “But you were my best friend.”
“Do you know why I came back, Naruto?” Sasuke asked softly, eyes gleaming in the moonlight.
“No,” Naruto said, shivering at the sound of his name on Sasuke’s tongue.
Against his will, hope sprang to life, filling his eyes and making his hands tingle. Yet even as the feelings filled him, Naruto tried to shove them away. He refused to throw himself at the Uchiha’s feet at the first sign of affection. Deciding that, while very tempting, the close contact wasn’t a good idea, he tried to step back out of Sasuke’s grasp.
If Sasuke noticed Naruto’s struggle, he didn’t acknowledge it openly, merely tightening his grip on the blonde’s wrist and hair. “With Orochimaru I learned how to control my power, learned how to wield it to the fullest of my potential.”
“Don’t mention that bastard!” Naruto snapped, redoubling his efforts to pull himself from Sasuke’s grasp. “He’s the reason you left!”
Naruto would have said more, but he was silenced by two fingers pressing against his lips. At the gentle touch, heat lanced through him, settling in his groin with painful intensity. Thoughts whirling around in his head, Naruto absently wondered how Sasuke would react if he licked his lips. It was only the strongest self control that checked the urge, although his breathing had become rather ragged. He’d been prepared for insults and punches, that was their way of dealing with one another. But this strange gentleness was unraveling Naruto faster than he could pull himself together.
“Orochimaru showed me power,” Sasuke continued, yet to take his fingers off of Naruto’s lips. “But even as I grew more powerful, there was something missing.” His other hand continued tugging at the soft spikes covering the nape of the blonde’s neck, and he was finding it difficult to stay fully aware, his head slowly growing heavier as the caress affected him. Sasuke’s voice softened, barely a whisper hanging between them. “At one point I found myself listening for word of your exploits.”
“Why?” Naruto asked, voice hoarse. Again hope swelled, making his throat painfully tight around the words he needed to say. “You told me I was nothing; an inconvenience.” His lips tingled where Sasuke’s fingers rested.
Sasuke sighed, allowing his fingers to slide from Naruto’s mouth down his neck. The slender digits caressed the length of his throat, with Naruto unconsciously tilting his head back, unable to help the reaction anymore than his rapid heart beat. A part of his mind, the sensible part, was screaming for him to put some distance between them, but he ignored it, knowing he couldn’t move his feet even if Sasuke pulled a kunai on him right then and there. He was trapped. A willing captive.
“I wanted you to be nothing. My feelings for you had no place amongst my dreams of revenge.” Sasuke sighed again, dark eyes following the soft strokes of his fingers down Naruto’s throat.
Naruto swallowed hard, wanting to reach out and touch in return, but his hands refused to cooperate, hanging limp at his sides. “What...what feelings?”
“You were always so strong,” Sasuke murmured, pressing closer. “You were always so irritating, so loud and obnoxious. No matter how many times you failed to find me, you never stopped looking.” He lifted his gaze, dark eyes blazing. “You were the one person I could count on Naruto. Always one step behind me, waiting until I found what I was looking for.”
Naruto took a deep breath, blue eyes swirling with varied emotions that rocked through him. “Why did you come back, Sasuke?” The question had been plaguing him ever since the battle with the Akatsuki.
Time seemed to slow as Sasuke abruptly shifted closer, pressing their bodies together until not even a sliver of space existed between them. Unable to contain himself, Naruto gasped, hands flying up to grip Sasuke’s hips. The Uchiha only laughed, nuzzling Naruto’s throat with his lips, leaving soft kisses in his wake. “I found what I was looking for,” he murmured into the blonde’s warm flesh, nipping at the sensitive skin.
A low moan was dragged from the back of Naruto’s throat, his head falling back until it was cradled in Sasuke’s palm. His fingers dug into Sasuke’s hips hard enough to leave bruises, but the other ninja didn’t seem pained at all, absorbed in kissing the soft skin behind Naruto’s ear. The blonde panted, wanting so badly to throw himself entirely into the dark haired man’s clutches, but holding back. “And what were you looking for?” Naruto gasped out, needing to hear the answer before he lost all grasp of coherent thought.
Sasuke paused, pulling back enough that he could meet Naruto’s dazed gaze. The ground seemed to drop away from beneath the blonde ninja’s feet when he saw the passionate blaze crackling in the depths of those dark eyes.
“You.” Sasuke said quietly. “I was looking for you.”
Then his mouth was covering Naruto’s, and the blonde lost all touch with the world around them. He’d used to day dream about what it would be like to kiss Sasuke for real. Nothing could have prepared him for the explosion of sensation the touch of the Uchiha’s lips released.
Sasuke kept the kiss light, feathering his lips over Naruto’s in a soft caress; teasing, tasting. The hand buried in the hair at the nape of Naruto’s neck gently released its hold, curling around the base of Naruto’s, urging him closer. The hand gripping Naruto’s wrist joined the first, Sasuke’s thumb feathering over the blonde’s frantic pulse. Naruto tightened his grip on Sasuke’s hips, his head spinning. Every inch of him had never felt so alive, his bones humming within his skin.
“Sasuke,” Naruto murmured, moaning low in his throat when the Uchiha seized the moment to slide his tongue across the sensitive crease of his lips, begging entrance. Naruto opened his mouth to Sasuke with a soft whimper of need, unable to deny him.
Naruto’s needy moans shot through Sasuke like chain lightning, filling his veins and body with driving heat. With a low growl Sasuke pushed even closer, sealing their mouths together as he drove his tongue into Naruto’s willing warmth. Shifting his hands, Sasuke angled the other man’s head back, making it easier to plunder the blonde’s mouth, losing himself in the unique flavor that was Naruto. The blonde ninja moaned again at the dominating gesture, opening his mouth wider to twine his tongue around Sasuke’s.
Gradually, Sasuke’s hands slid from Naruto’s neck, moving over his body with devastating efficiency. They smoothed along his shoulders and flanks to rest at his hips, pulling them closer until their erections ground together. Naruto groaned, arching his hips as need slammed through him with all the finesse of a run away boulder. Then his hands were full of silky hair, nails dragging over Sasuke’s scalp. Judging from the rough purr working up the back of Sasuke’s throat, the Uchiha appreciated the gesture.
Feeling adventurous, and delirious with the realization that he was actually kissing Sasuke, he pulled out of the deep lip lock to catch the Uchiha’s bottom lip between his teeth, flicking out his tongue to smooth the small wound. The blonde chuckled when Sasuke growled, the light sound turning to a gasp when Sasuke’s quick fingers went to work on Naruto’s jacket. The feel of the Uchiha’s cool hands pressing against his heated chest sent Naruto’s desire exploding outward with a silent roar, blasting through him until he was trembling with overwhelming lust.
With a rough sound, Naruto’s hands left Sasuke’s hair to smooth down his chest, wanting to feel bare flesh in return. He was rewarded with a hiss of pleasure, smiling against his lover’s mouth as his hands slipped beneath the other man’s shirt, finding skin hot to the touch. This time it was Sasuke who moaned, Naruto eagerly swallowing the desperate sound. Wanting to hear it again Naruto dragged his nails down Sasuke’s torso, chuckling in delight when the brunette arched helplessly.
Wanting to taste the Uchiha’s skin, Naruto leaned in, pressing soft kisses to the sensitive flesh in a mirror move of Sasuke’s earlier movements. All the while his hands continued to trace the man’s sides in random patterns that left him writhing in want. Sasuke made a choked sound, hands shifting to clutch at Naruto's hips, head falling back to give the blonde better access. Pleased with the brunette’s surrender, Naruto tasted the proud line of Sasuke’s throat, all the while letting his fingers slide along the waist band of his shorts. The Uchiha’s hips bucked helplessly, his breath deepening, becoming harsher in the still silence that cloaked them.
Naruto wasn’t sure when the world spun for real, only that one moment he was teasing the soft skin behind Sasuke’s ear with his tongue, the next he was lying flat on his back, Sasuke straddling his hips and staring down at him with a knowing smile. “Maybe next time dobe. This time, I’m on top.”
Before the blonde could object, Sasuke leaned over and kissed him again, grinding their hips together in a few quick thrusts that left Naruto gasping for breath. Then Sasuke was slipping off his shirt, and all Naruto could do was stare at the mouth watering expanse of pale flesh looming over him. He tried to reach out with his hands, only to have them pinned to the ground, Sasuke nipping at his bottom lip in reproof. “Patience, dobe,” the brunette muttered against his lips. “Right now its your turn.” Then he was sliding further down Naruto’s body, pressing open mouth kisses against the blonde’s bare chest.
The breath left Naruto’s lungs as Sasuke’s warm mouth closed over one of his nipples, arching his back without conscious thought. His hands gripped the soft grass beneath them with desperate strength. It was the hardest thing to remain still as Sasuke gradually moved lower, tongue gently lapping at his abdomen with obvious relish. Even worse were the delicate touches of those agile fingers, sliding along his ribs and hips, seeking the tender spots that made him gasp and moan.
At one point, Sasuke halted, hands tracing Naruto’s erection through his trousers, the soft caress burning him straight through the thick fabric. Naruto moaned, hips arching off the ground as he tried to increase the contact. “Sasuke,” he whispered hoarsely. “Please.”
Sasuke looked up from his position across Naruto’s legs, dark eyes burning with possessive lust as he heard Naruto’s soft pleas. He smiled. “For you.” Then he was pulling Naruto’s trousers out of the way, and Naruto was drowning in the slick wet heat of the Uchiha’s mouth. Dazed by the sensations coming from his cock, Naruto stared up at the distant sky, the many stars barely focusing as his eyes tried to cross. No one had ever given him a blow job before, and the experience was proving to be quite exhilarating, unable to keep himself from reaching down to bury his fingers in Sasuke’s silky hair.
Keeping his lips tucked over his teeth, Sasuke eased his mouth over the head, sucking gently as he allowed Naruto time to become acclimated with the experience. From the sounds the blonde was making, he was definitely enjoying it. Hands at Naruto’s hips kept the blonde pinned to the ground, allowing Sasuke to set the pace.
Gradually he swallowed Naruto deeper and deeper, using his tongue to full advantage, flexing and darting in wild patterns. He listened to the blonde’s soft sounds of pleasure with half-lidded eyes, carefully noting which spots got the strongest reactions. When he was sure that Naruto was reaching the point where he wouldn’t be able to handle much more, he slowly pulled away, replacing his mouth with his hand.
The pulsing heat of Naruto’s cock was burned into Sasuke’s palm, and the Uchiha squeezed gently, smiling in satisfaction at the way the blonde threw his head back with a sharp cry, hands tightening their grip on his hair. Then the moment finally came with Naruto’s orgasm rising from the depth of his belly and rippling outward, bringing with it a long, low moan.
Sasuke didn’t seem too bothered by the semen that covered his hand, instead looked rather satisfied with himself. While giving Naruto time to recuperate from his orgasm, Sasuke stripped them both of their pants, the cool air caressing their overheated skin like a third lover. Then, using the moment when Naruto was still trying to gather his wits, Sasuke gently pressed a single finger into his entrance, finger slick with semen.
Naruto hissed, arching his back in surprise as his body protested the sudden invasion. “Sasuke, what?” he asked, blinking dazedly.
Sasuke continued to push in with his finger, coaxing the blonde to bend his legs so as to open him up further. “Relax Naruto,” he murmured, pressing kisses all along Naruto’s inner thigh. “You have to relax.”
Naruto grit his teeth. “That’s a little hard to do when your sticking your finger up my ass.” But he did as he was told and tried to relax his body. It was certainly a new sensation, almost too solid, too real. He’d barely opened his mouth to ask Sasuke to stop when he abruptly bit down on his lip, refusing to quit now. No matter how uncomfortable, he wouldn’t stop, because this was Sasuke. He’d hoped and prayed for this moment too long to just give up now. Filled with the determination to endure no matter what, Naruto gradually became used to the gentle movements, the finger’s passage made easier by the coating of semen.
Just when the blonde was becoming accustomed to the gentle pumping, Sasuke added another finger, and he was forced to start all over again, hissing as he was slowly stretched. The Uchiha made it easier to bear by keeping up a continuous caress with his other hand, also putting his mouth to good use. Unable to help himself, he left the beginning’s of several bruises on Naruto’s sensitive inner thighs, marking the blonde’s flesh with his teeth.
Naruto didn’t know when it started, but by the third finger he was anticipating each thrust, hips lifting to urge the Uchiha’s fingers deeper. Legs spread wide, he reveled in the new found pleasure, blue eyes heavy lidded as he watched Sasuke, and the almost feral look in his eyes as he watched Naruto in return. Having complete faith in Sasuke, Naruto didn’t panic when Sasuke positioned himself between his legs, only biting his lip when the Uchiha slowly began to press into him. Naruto had felt much worse than the burning pain, but it was the strange sensation of being filled that made it difficult for him, eyes clenched shut as he fought not to struggle.
Sensing the blonde’s turmoil, Sasuke leaned up, pressing his mouth to Naruto’s in a light kiss. “Relax dobe. I won’t hurt you.”
“I know,” Naruto gasped, voice catching in his throat as Sasuke became firmly seated inside him. White tipped flames of desire were seething through him, the heat steadily building until it created a delicious pleasure low in his belly. But it didn’t stay pleasant for long, slowly growing hotter and hotter, gripping him in an iron fist until he writhed beneath the Uchiha, moaning and whimpering as he sought to urge his new lover deeper.
Braced above him, Sasuke panted, his legendary self-containment long gone. “Naruto,” he gasped. “Put your legs over my shoulders.”
Chest heaving, Naruto did as he said, both of them groaning as the movement pushed them closer together. Trying to get a hold of what remained of his self-control, Sasuke rested his forehead against Naruto’s chest, fingers sinking into the cool grass. “Stop..moving so much...dobe.” His voice was smoky, sending shivers rolling down the blonde’s spine.
“I can’t...help it...,” Naruto whimpered, bucking his hips with mind-less abandon.
Sasuke growled above him, dark eyes shifting to reveal the blazing crimson of the Sharingan. “Fuck it.” He began to thrust.
Naruto’s jaw worked in a silent scream at the first thrust, eyes glazing in lust induced shock. Sasuke’s thrusts were rough, urgent, pounding into him over and over. It was then that Naruto seemed to come alive, arching his hips in return, hands reaching for the Uchiha’s sweat slick skin. A sob was trapped in the back of the blonde’s throat, half plea, half prayer; caught between fearing this was a dream and hoping it would never end.
Sasuke moaned, the sound wrenched from his gut. Never had he imagined that he would one day be able to fulfill the fantasies that had plagued him ever since the final battle with Akatsuki. Before then he’d only gotten brief glimpses of Naruto, the stubborn blonde glowing with determination. And yet those glimpses had been unable to prepare him for when they finally came face to face after three long years. Ever since, Sasuke had been plagued by erotic dreams, all featuring one blue-eyed, loud mouthed ninja.
Pieces of those fantasies flashed before Sasuke’s eyes, making him growl, and he increased his thrusts. Naruto could only moan, nails dragging across the brunette’s lithe back in wild abandon. Eye’s narrowed, Sasuke made sure to brand the image into his mind. Naruto’s brilliant blue eyes glazed with desire, his face and chest flushed as he gasped for breath. The feel of the blonde’s muscles clenching him tight; the firm ground and soft grass. Never would Sasuke forget this night, but he would make sure there were many to follow.
The steady pressure of his orgasm bore down on him, waves of heat steadily pushing him higher and higher. Gripping Naruto’s hips, he angled him upward, shifting his position until he hit the blonde’s prostate with every thrust. At the same time he shifted one of his hands to the blonde ninja’s weeping cock, matching his strokes with every thrust, filling the air with his lover’s desperate pleas.
Naruto’s orgasm ripped through him without warning, sending his mind aloft with wings of fire. Every muscle in his body seemed to contract at once, forcing the breath from his body in the sound of a low keen. Sasuke was unable to resist the feel of Naruto’s inner muscles contracting around him and came with an audible groan, teeth sinking into the thick muscle of the blonde’s shoulder. Once he was spent, Sasuke collapsed on top of Naruto, nuzzling the bite marks that had begun to slowly ooze blood.
Naruto didn’t know how long they lay there together before he slowly opened his eyes, fully aware that Sasuke had yet to pull out. Naruto found that he didn’t mind the brunette’s continued presence in his body, content to cradle the man between his thighs a little longer. As long as he was there, he wasn’t walking away without bothering to look back, as Naruto feared would happen.
Content to remain where he was, the blonde only stirred when he felt the warmth of Sasuke’s tongue bathing his neck, cleaning the blood from the bite marks he’d left in the wake of his lust. “So, I take it you like me?” Naruto asked innocently, hands smoothing the scratches he’d left on the brunette’s back.
Sasuke snorted, looking up from his ministrations to pin him with dark eyes, the Sharingan having faded. “Considering I don’t fuck just anybody, I would say yes.”
A dozen retorts leapt to mind, but the blonde couldn’t force them past his suddenly tight throat. Still looking up at the distant stars, he was surprised when they began to blur. Touching his cheek, he started, feeling the wet warmth of his tears. Embarrassed by his reaction to the Uchiha’s round-about confession, Naruto tried to turn his face away, only to have the movement halted by a pale hand.
Cupping the blonde’s jaw, Sasuke forced him to meet his own dark gaze, the tear tracks gleaming pale silver in the soft moonlight. Sasuke waited a beat, then gently began to kiss the tears away, the salt making his lips tingle.
Naruto’s breath hitched, overwhelmed by the gentle ministrations. “What are..?”
“You are a stupid pain in the ass,” Sasuke whispered, nibbling his jaw once he finished kissing away his tears. “You’re too noisy and wouldn’t know subtlety if it smacked you up side the head.” He smirked. “You are a dobe, but you’re my dobe. Got it?”
Light headed with relief, and nearly hysterical with joy, Naruto could only nod. “Got it.” Overwhelmed, he pressed his face into Sasuke’s neck. “Dumb ass,” he muttered under his breath, smiling. He yelped in surprise when teeth closed on his other shoulder, desire sparking to life beneath his skin. Eyes wide, he drew back to stare at Sasuke. “What was that for?”
Sasuke smirked. “That was for missing my party.”
Naruto scowled. “Bastard! You ditched it too!”
“Yes, but that was to look for you.” Then Sasuke’s smirk melted away, replaced with a calculating gleam. Slowly he pulled out of Naruto, fitting their hips together, pinning the blonde beneath him. “You never did tell me why you left.”
Naruto rolled his eyes, reaching up to bury his fingers in silky strands the color of night. “That was because watching Sakura moon after you was more than I could bear, thank you very much.” He was about to say more when his stomach let loose a faint gurgle, making him grin sheepishly. He chuckled. “I guess I’m a little hungry." He hesitated, then added cheerfully, "Ramen sounds nice.”
Sasuke nodded. “I’m hungry too. But I’m thinking something a little more...appetizing.” Then, before Naruto could object, he pressed their mouth’s together, entering them into a duel of lips and teeth.
Naruto let loose a soft moan, tilting his head to the side when Sasuke shifted his attention to the blonde’s neck. He stared up at the moon, filled with lazy contentment, underneath which the embers of desire slowly stirred to life. Arching into his lover’s hot mouth, Naruto decided the ramen could wait.
But just for a little while.
