Lost Puzzle Pieces

Hands laced through pink strands of hair, she gulped for air but not matter how hard she breathed or how fast her chest moved up and down, nothing helped. The tears finally stopped hurting her face, the salty liquid left red streaks down her face. Her eyes were bright and puffy filled with fear and chaos. Sasuke harsh words cut her like a blade he called her names she never imagined coming from him. It had been 3 years since she had seen him and he had changed so much, he was tall strong and handsome. He was not a boy anymore, he was a man. A man with a dark mission and he knew he had to cut all ties and this would be the only way to do it with her.

Cold black eyes stared down upon his tied up prize, he pulled from his sheath the long sword. He knelt to her face and lifted her eyes so they met his gaze.

He opened his mouth and spoke slowly " I am going to leave a mark on your body that will never heal-

"SHUT UP!!"She screamed interrupting him " You have already left a mark that will never heal...I think about you everyday and yet you do this to me...everyone told me you were an enemy but I always-

He lifted his hand and thrashed it across her face leaving a bright red hand imprint on her. " You should have listened." He said lifting the sword to her breast. The blade sunk into her skin and sliced through it like butter.

two years later

Sakura walked to her room groggy from a long nights sleep. Her dreams made it a restless night which wasn't the first for the pink haired girl. She hadn't seen sasuke since her rape but it still haunted her dreams. She had an advance by Naruto for a kiss and she broke down and began to cry. Before her rapist left he grinned leaving only a couple of words to leave in her mind for the rest of her life...replaying over and over again like a broken record. " No matter how long you live I will always be on you and in you. Even after you heal and shower I will be there, I was the one who broke your virgin body and I was the one who broke your heart. The only one who will be able to fix it now...is another Uchiha..." He turned leaving her in her blood and come.

She undressed and climbed into the shower, the cool droplets of water fell over her body, trickling down her body. She touched her breast feeling the raised scars on her breasts, nipples, stomach, thighs and crotch. She cringed as the tears rolled down her cheeks.

When her shower was done she got out and got dressed, she felt like everyone knew even though they probably didn't. Sakura tried to heal them every day but to no avail. Tsunade also tried to help her but there was nothing that would heal these scars. She passed her old captain everyday and they walked around the town for a while. She smiled at him and acted like nothing was wrong.

One day he did something unexpected, his hand moved on its own and wrapped around her slim fingers. Sakura was shocked and began to blush, she hadn't felt his warm hands before like this. She looked up at him and noticed he was blushing too. She smiled and for the first time she actually felt comfortable around him. She was surprised but a good surprise. She returned the gesture and they walked silently.

Kakashi stopped and turned to her " Look I'm sorry that I...uh I dont know what came over me." He spoke quietly under his mask. She smiled and began to kick the dirt under her feet around, bringing little puffs of smoke. " Kakashi for once I didn't mind it."

She smiled and he his eyes widened as reality hit him, she didn't mind at all. He continued to hold her hand and they both walked to the woods where there was a bench. Sakura wanted to talk, she didn't like to much any more. But with him, just him she wanted to talk. When they arrived at the small wooden bench she sat down and he sat down next to her. Her eyes opened and Kakashi was dazed by her. She pushed her hair behind her ear, exposing her soft face. Kakashi looked down the nape of her neck and saw a huge gash, it was healed over but it hit him. Sasuke really hurt her....

They exchanged words the two, and talked about everything. From favorite colors and songs to love interest and life choices. The two laughed about the good and remembered the sad. She leaned up against him and closed her eyes. " Let me just lay here for a minute." She spoke silently as the wind blew through them. Kakashi smiled and said " Sure." she stood up and waited for him to get comfortable, he put his legs up on the bench and signaled her to come between his legs. She crawled between them and laid her head up on his chest. Closing her eyes for a long dreamless sleep. He wrapped his hands around her body. She was warm and he liked to see her at peace.

She opened her mouth and began to speak " Sasuke was my love interest. I am sure you knew that of all people. He was mysterious and had personality. He made me feel safe and I always wanted to be with him. When him and Naruto fought up on the building it scared me...but you arrived. Within a couple of hours he left. I was the last to see him off, for the first time he said he was sorry to me. He left me with hope, I was hopeful to get him back. Even after all the crap he had done I just wanted my friend back...but he wouldn't come back. No matter how many times I wished he never came back. When finally I saw him I cried in front of him and he looked torn. He wanted vengeance for his family but he didn't want to hurt his friends." She began to get choked up " I remember him closing his eyes and looking sad for a split second, he let his guard down and then he opened his dark eyes and turned away. He left me after I just tried to save him. He visited me that night and he" She began to cry. " He took me by force, I couldn't do anything again. I thought maybe this was a nightmare, he grabbed my hair and through me down on the floor. He said this is for having faith in me. He undressed slowly and did the most horrible things to me. I begged him to stop but he would not. He used his snakes and they bit me everywhere paralyzing me at least what I thought but he actually used his sharingan on me...as he pushed inside me I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. He pushed deeper and I let out a cry of pain. He looked unresponsive. I began to cry in agony and he kept going raping me. He -

" When he was done he took his sword and sliced me slowly. He carved me up and now I look like this."

He held her close and when she was finished he spoke " Sakura you are beautiful...they way you are laying on me right now so close and warm...truthfully is a dream come true. You are so gorgeous..." he smiled.

she gasped in shock and looked up at him " do you really mean that?"

"Yes, I do...but I know you are hurting right now."

she wanted to say, she wanted him. She wanted to say stay with me forever...but she couldn't bring her lips to speak the words. Words flashed through her mind, Sasuke's words flashed through. "Only another Uchiha" she closed her eyes and spoke " Kakashi-

As her words just about rose from her throat he looked over to the woods quickly. She looked as well. " What is it?"

" Someone is out there. Sakura get up" He spoke taking a kunai out.

Footsteps left the forest and Sakura's eyes went wide. She stood up, and brought her hand to her chest. Kakashi glared at the man holding his kunai steady. The man spoke " You know me as Itachi, am I correct" he stated walking closer.

"Yes, what are you doing here with your presence covered?"

" I am here for her. Give her to me and I will leave quietly." He stated.

"Me?" She asked confused.

"Not a chance, why would I let you take her to the Akatsuki?" he spoke coldy.

"I am not with the Akatsuki." Itachi spoke looking into Kakashi's eyes.

"Why do you want me then?" she asked.

" I will not harm you." he spoke as if he was a snake charmer and she were the snake...for what ever reason she believed him. His eyes were red and with the black swirls. Kakashi looked to her nervously. Itachi closed his eyes and turned away " I will not leave with out you. Sakura I am turning my back to show I am serious." In the ninja world you never turned your back on an enemy, this was saying he was not here to battle. Kakashi didn't trust him and was about to throw when Sakura put a hand on the kunai.

" Alright. Kakashi let me go, I will be back. Don't send anyone after me." she stated.

Kakashi was confused, did he use the sharingan? No he would have noticed. He lowered the kunai and let her go. Why, he didn't know. Her eyes were serious and demanding. For what ever reason she trusted him, so he closed his eyes and turned away " Alright Sakura.Be careful." he asked.
