Right Kind of Wrong
Sakura resisted the urge to look towards him as she walked through the door to the ninja bar. She couldn't date him. There were so many reasons. He was way older than she was, almost too old to be acceptable. It really was against the rules of them being ninja. One night stands were all right, but no relationships beyond friends and teammates. And of course there were the countless women before her. And those damn books.
She should've known her resolve wouldn't last. He came up behind her while she was waiting to be served at the bar. She stiffened as she felt his body slide up against hers and fit itself against her, like they were puzzle pieces made just for each other. She caught a whiff of his strong masculine scent, woodsy and familiar, and her determination to stay away from him crumbled like a sand castle at high tide.
“I've missed you.” He breathed against her ear.
Sakura tried to think of a good response, but the only thing on her mind was how good he felt behind her with his hands slowly moving up and down her sides. She turned her head to look at him.
“You're so wrong for me, but my place or yours?” she whispered, right before they disappeared in a puff of smoke.
