"How to Love" A Sai x Hero Fanfiction
Prologue: How to Smile
"Am I doing it right?"
"No,no. Curl your lips up more"
"Like this...?"
"...that's right..."
"Um...Hatori?"
My best friend knelt down in front of me,and placed a hand to my cheek. "...I want to do it,but my body just won't listen. How do you..." my sentence trailed off as I studied Hatori's expression. Two cole hues and a line for a mouth.
"I can't do it," I told him. "It doesn't feel natural". Hatori's expression did not faulter. I closed my eyes,allowing the tips of his fingers to caress my cheek.
"Don't show your teeth. It doesn't look real," he said. "This is the ultimate strategy to overcome something that is difficult".
"Something...that is difficult. Does that mean...we can forget our friends?"
"It's a must,"
I put on a grin,and wore it all day. And that's how I learned how to smile.
