Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN NARUTO OR FFX/X-2!!! If I did, I would’ve put more action scene in Naruto and not make him such a wimp. Seriously Kishimoto, grow up from the damn Uchiha-teme and give Naruto a break. He seriously needs it, or at least give him a girlfriend. With FFX and FFX-2, there needs to be a prequel! I would LOVE to see the journey that Jecht went under before FFX along with young Auron and Braska. Plus, aren’t you curious about that journey?

AN: Hello. Here is another Naruto crossover for your pleasure. I have decided this one due to the fact that there are some good fics, but no one finishes them. That PISSES ME OFF! Now, this will be like my Naruto: Senshi of the Sun and Darkness. In that sense, this is NOT a multiover. It will span throughout the ENTIRE FFX saga. That said, here are the pairings: Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. That means Tidus is out. In a sense, Naruto WILL be the Tidus of this fic. There will be some elements from other games and manga, so if you recognize them, I don’t own them either. Now, on with the show!

 

Ch 1: So Long Konoha and Hello weird Temple

 

            In the Valley of the End, there were bodies littered everywhere. Blood was splashed everywhere and was seeping into the lake. Each body had a hitae on their heads, signifying their allegiance. Some of them were being crumbled into dust, due to them being the result of an Edo Tensei.

On the waters, there were two panting figures. One was covered by a tattered cloak with red clouds and blood splatters on it. His mask was broken in half, revealing his aged face, with a Sharingan spinning madly. The other figure was a blonde. His condition wasn’t much better, but he was wearing battle clothing that resembled an elegant assassin. There were long black pants, combat boots, and a mesh shirt, covered by a black and silver armor that was made with a cloth that made it impenetrable and flexible. There was also a hood on the back of the armor. On the sleeves, there were armlets that held two hidden blades of his creation that held poisons, a dart gun, and a gun. (Same outfit as in my other fic Senshi of the Sun and Darkness)

The first figure says, “Namikaze Naruto. You just have to keep on going, you just HAD to ruin my plans. You just HAD to keep going.”

Said blonde chuckles bitterly and says, “Well, you can’t expect me to go along with things teme. Why did you think I killed Sasuke?”

The man growls out, “You ruined everything. I will make you pay for it.”

Naruto gets in a battle stance and says, “Try me Madara-teme. I am beating you now, and I will kill you here. The Uchiha line ends today, consequences be damned.”

Madara lets out a battle cry as he charges in with a kunai in hand. Naruto decides to put out all the stops and says, “Shinra Tensei.”

Madara was blasted back by a force of gravity and was embedded in the statue of himself. He gets himself out and was about to question on how he knew that jutsu. He stops himself when he sees Naruto’s doujutsu. The eyes had now a dark purple background, four black rings encircling on the inside, while an golden eight pointed-star was in the middle. Madara stumbles back as he says, “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT NAMIKAZE?!?”

“Why teme, this is my doujutsu. It is an improved version of the original. I call it, the Tengen Hoshi Rinnegan,” Naruto replies.

Madara then screams, “HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU HAVE THAT?!? IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!”

Naruto shakes his head and says, “The hell if I know. I just do. I had it sense I was 8. No one bothered to ask anyway.”

Naruto then gathers Kyuubi’s (Or Koukon’s) youki and forms his nine-tailed beast shroud and gets into a battle stance, while saying, “Well, what are you waiting for? Come and get me.”

Madara then charges in. Naruto takes out a hidden blade and clashes with Madara’s kunai. They then exchanged blows one after another in high speeds. Each hit caused a shockwave to form, making the water ripple.

Naruto jumps away, makes some handsigns, and says, “Youton: Yougandama!”

Naruto launches lava enhanced bullets at Madara, setting his cloak on fire. He screams in pain as he says, “Amaterasu!”

Black flames were set at Naruto, but he deflects it by saying, “Shinra Tensei!”

The black flames were repelled away from him, and Naruto disappears via Hiraishin. He appears behind Madara and stabs him through the spine. He cries out in pain as he feels his legs’ feeling leaving him. Naruto pushes him away and jumps back.

Madara tries to get up, but fails, while saying, “DAMN YOU NAMIKZE! DAMN YOU TO HELL!”

“I think it is time to end this,” Naruto says, “But first.”

Naruto throws a kunai that hits Madara’s eye. He screams out in pain. Naruto smirks at the sight. He thought that Madara would use his Kamui to escape, so he prevented that by killing of his eye that he uses. Naruto then lifts his arm up, and forms a Rasengan. The Rasengan is then infused with Wind, making it spin faster until it forms a spiraling fuma shuriken. Naruto then adds more flair and infuses the jutsu with lightning chakra, making the shuriken scream from power and the combined affinities.

Naruto rears back and says, “Alright, this is your end! Yuukaiton: Rasenshuriken!”

Naruto throws the shuriken at Madara. He could only helplessly watch as the jutsu comes at him in high speeds. The jutsu severs him in half, and then ignites into a dome of wind, lightning, and chakra. Naruto watches the show with a satisfied smirk, knowing that this will for surely kill him. The dome then explodes from the sheer force, obliterating any remains of the Uchiha. As the smoke clears, Naruto takes up the other half of Madara’s mask and smashes it into the ground.

He takes a few calming breath while ending his jinchurikii state before tensing up at the sight before him. Sasuke, who he thought to have killed earlier, was standing. He was breathing heavily with one eye open. The other one was a gaping hole due to Naruto destroying it.

Sasuke snarls and yells, “YOU! YOU HAD TO RUIN IT! I WAS SO CLOSE TO ACHIEVING MY REVENGE! YOU MADE ME FAIL IN ITACHI’S WISH!”

Naruto raises an eyebrow and says, “Really? Last I checked, he told me to make sure you don’t ruin his name anymore. I guess that means he hates you now.”

Sasuke snarls, “What! He couldn’t hate me! I am an Uchiha! An Elite! I am Kami!”

Naruto shakes hiead as he holds out his arm in front of him and says, “Bansho Tenin.”

Sasuke was taken by surprise as he was pulled towards Naruto. Before he could react, he was in a death choke hold by the blonde. Naruto squeezes bit by bit, making sure he suffers. Naruto was about to end it, but that was interrupted by Sakura and some other Konoha ninja coming in.

“Naruto! Thank kami you saved Sasuke-kun. Hurry, let me take care of him,” she says.

Naruto stares at her blankly, wondering what he should do. He looks at Sasuke and sees the choked out smug expression on his face. Remembering all the shit Sasuke did for his petty ‘revenge’, Naruto decides to screw the promise and end it.

“Uchiha Sasuke. You have committed many sins all for your petty revenge. You are pathetic. Nothing more. Hell, I think that an insect has more worth than you. That is why I am going to take great pleasure in doing this. I know for a fact that you will more than likely be let go, even though you are an international criminal. It is time I dealt with one as such. Have fun in the Shinigami’s stomach because that is where you are going.”

Before anyone could react, Naruto throws Sasuke into the air. As he flails about, Naruto does some quick handsigns before holding his arm out. He aims at the Uchiha fledgling as he says, “Goodbye. I hope to never see your face again. Tenraiton: Tsuuretsu Jajjimento!”

A magic circle forms at Naruto’s hand, and a piercing beam is shot out. Sasuke is hit by it, and is immediately disintegrated. As the beam disappears, Naruto looks to find nothing left of Sasuke. He was gone.

Naruto turns to the onlookers with closed eyes as he asks, “Enjoy the show?”

Sakura tears up and asks, “Naruto, why? Why would you do that to your friend? Why would you betray your promise to me?”

Naruto shakes his head as he says, “He was never my friend. I tolerated him. Yes, he WAS a comrade, but he was an international criminal who killed many people all for the sake of what? His revenge? Oh come one. I had more of a hellish life than he did, and I STILL turn out good. Now, he was nothing more than a stain that needed to be removed, and I KNOW for a fact that Konoha in its oh-so-infinite-wisdom won’t do shit. So I took care of it, and saved you all the trouble.”

Kakashi, who had just arrived and heard what Naruto said, was now holding a Raikiri with a revealed Sharingan as he says, “You’ll pay for that. He was my redemption for Obito.”

Naruto opens his eyes to reveal his doujutsu, shocking the group, as he says, “Please you fucking hypocrite. Would you have done the same for me if I was in the same situation? No, you would ignore my father’s AND my mother’s dying wishes and kill me. What was that rule you taught us? ‘Those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash’? Guess what, Sasuke did that. I proceeded to give him his rightful prize: death.”

Tsunade, who also just arrived along with the other Kages, said, “I’m afraid I have to arrest you then as for killing a Konoha ninja, you are hereby arrested for tr-“

Tsunade was silenced by a punch to the gut from Terumi Mei, who said, “You bitch! He just saved all of our asses from being ruled by that good for nothing brat! And yet, you STILL view him as a prince? Get real!”

A steps out in front of Kakashi and says, “I can see that he is clearly the man that has inherited Minato’s determination and Kushina’s stubbornness and prowess. As a man who acknowledges that, try and get past me. You’ll see what will happen.”

Sakura, who was now standing, charges at Naruto in hopes of avenging her ‘love’, but she was stopped by sand constricting her. She sees Gaara glaring at her as he says, “You move, you die. Decide.”

Naruto was about to move toward them, but he was stopped by him deflecting some shuriken thrown by Konoha ninja. Seeing the action, the other ninja attacks them. In the midst of the confusion, Kakashi runs past A and runs toward Naruto with a Raikiri ready to strike. When he was close, Naruto uses Hiraishin to teleport next to Kakashi, and break his arm, Kakashi screams out in pain as Naruto makes him look at him in the face. Naruto then says, “As a message from Obito, he says ‘Fuck off’.” Naruto then reaches around Kakashi’s head and then, SNAP!!!

Naruto drops the dead failure into the river, and then readies himself from an attack from an ANBU. Naruto steals his sword and stabs him in the back. He draws it back out and stabs another Konoha ninja before he aims his hidden gun and shoots another ninja dead. Naruto then forms a Rasengan in hand and thrusts it into a stomach of another Konoha ninja. As this one is thrown away, other Konoha ninja were thrown into disarray. Seeing the attack from behind thanks to his doujutsu, he blocks an attack from Kiba.

Naruto raises an eyebrow and asks, “Kiba, what are you doing? You said it yourself that we have to kill Sasuke. Why go against me then?”

Kiba snarls at Naruto and says, “Like I need to tell you! We all thought that you were going to be the perfect tool for us, but you have to go and kill the one you were supposed to save.”

Kiba makes another attack, but Naruto counters by going around him and stabbing him in the back of his head with one of his hidden blades. His life ended in a flash. As Kiba drops, Naruto looks at Akamaru, waiting for him to move. Instead, he hears him say in his language, “Thanks for that. Kiba was turning into a real bastard. No hard feelings, ne?”

Naruto laughs at the dog and says, “Sure. Get out of here though, and take some of the other ninken with you, so you can start a new Inuzuka clan.”

Akamaru nods before he runs off. Naruto then deflects a strike from Lee. Naruto looks at him and asks, “Lee, I see that even you are blinded by the arrogance of Konoha. Surely, your ‘Flames of youth’ isn’t diminished by this?”

Lee stares at Naruto while in his Goken stance as he says, “No. my flames have not diminished. It is yours that has.”

Naruto shakes his head and says, “Suit yourself,” before he appears behind Lee, and snaps his neck as well. Naruto looks down at him, wondering what went wrong. He stops his thoughts as he blocks two jyuuken strikes from Neji and Hinata. He figures that

Neji would be pissed at him for killing his comrade, but Hinata being there makes him worry.

“Okay, I can expect Neji, but what the hell are you doing Hinata?” Naruto asks.

Hinata remains stoic as she says, “I am sorry, but I must end you, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto’s eyes widen at her words. He tries to remain calm, but his heart was breaking on the inside. Tears were now coming down his face without his knowing. Koukon, inside the seal, was cursing so loudly at the ignorant bitch’s words that he unconsciously pushes youki out. Naruto clutches his heart in pain as he dodges more strikes. He was about to retaliate, but Koukon stops him.

Kit, form a wind barrier around you. We need to talk.

Naruto nods his head and makes some handsigns. He shouts out, “Fuuton: Kaze Shouheki!” Naruto encloses himself in a cocoon of wind, keeping him safe for the moment. Neji curses as his strike only ends with his arm being cut up, while another Konoha ninja was cut to ribbons.

Inside his mind, Naruto appears in front of Koukon and asks, “What do you need?”

The fox looks at Naruto and says, Kit, I know that you are in pain from that ignorant bitch’s betrayal, but you must move pass that.

Naruto looks down as he says, “I know, but I was in love with her. To think that she would abandon me without reason.”

Koukon shakes his head as he says, Listen kit, I know that you feel pain, but I have a plan that could aid us in escaping. Even if you live through this, there will be still those that resent you for your power, and will lash out against you, whether they be Konoha ninja or not.

Naruto raises his head and asks, “What kind of plan?”

Koukon answers, Well, the thing is, you will have to let me take over for this. You see, I am planning on having you jump worlds to save you from the pain of this world. What will happen, though, is my death. It will take what is left of my life force.

Naruto’s eyes widen as he creams, “WHAT! I can’t let you do that! You’re the closest thing I had to family left!”

Koukon closes his eyes and says, I know kit. I would rather live, but I would prefer you to live longer more. That is why I must do this. Consider it a thank you for not making all insane and whatnot.

Naruto looks down as he says, “so, you are really going to do this? I guess I can’t stop you.”

Koukon opens his eyes and says, Even though I’ll be gone, that doesn’t mean I am leaving without a fight. Now, I am going to leave you with some gifts. The first is my youki. It has all been configured into your system. You are still human, but you just have my youki along with your chakra. It is WAY more potent and abundant, practically limitless. That means you can still access your jinchurikii mode. I will imbue you with my knowledge of Kitsune tactics, katas, jutsu, and other stuff. Also, I will upgrade your Rinnegan. You will be able to use ALL elements and sub-elements. Gravity is also now at your command without the use of chakra. Just will it to move, and it does, plus you can use it for your jutsu, like the Rasenshuriken, and manipulate people’s minds. That is all that I can give you.

“Thanks Koukon. This means a lot to me.”

Koukon then says, Well, this is goodbye. Once I cut the link and take over, you won’t be able to see me once you jump worlds. I have to say, I had one hell of a run. Along with you too kit.

Naruto nods at that as Koukon transforms into his human form. He stood about Naruto’s height, had crimson red hair that hung down while being spiked (Raditz’s hair), red eyes, and one long tail to signify his last remaining strand of power. Koukon walks up to the cage and holds out his arm. Naruto does the same and grasps his arm. The two shake firmly.

Naruto then says, “One last thing Koukon. Give them hell. Lots of hell and payback, with interest.”

Koukon smirks as he says, With pleasure kit. With great, undeniable, blissful pleasure.

Outside of the cocoon, Konoha’s forces were waiting for the barrier to break. It starts to rupture, which causes them to take a stance. Instead of disappearing, the cocoon explodes violently, wind shears cutting up the Konoha ninja to ribbons. Hinata and Neji were able to avoid getting too much injured. They look at the smoky area, trying to find the blonde. They see him floating down, unchanged in appearance at first glance. The blonde lifts his head up and opens his eyes, revealing the changed Rinnegan. The background was now crimson red, five rings encircling it on the inside, and a black eight-pointed star. The blonde smirks before he teleports next to Neji and proceeds to kick him harshly out of the vicinity.

Hinata looks fearfully as she asks, “N-naruto-kun?”

The blonde chuckles evilly as he says, “Sorry, he isn’t here at the moment. Please leave your message at the sound of a person dying horribly.”

The revealed Koukon then grabs the head of a Konoha chunin and crushes it in his hand. He tosses the body away as he glares at the trembling Hinata. She steps back as she asks, “K-kyuubi?”

Koukon smirks as he says, “And we have a winner. The prize winner is this poor excuse of a human. Now, saseko, your prize is a brutal beating by yours truly. Feel honored by it.”

Hinata tries to run away, but Koukon intercepts her with a punch to the gut. While she is thrown back, Koukon uppercuts her into the air before he kicks her off to the distance. She lands while skidding across the ground, now in a beaten form. She gets up slowly as she says, “You. What have you done to Naruto-kun? Were you the one who killed Sasuke-kun?”

Koukon snarls as he says, “Please, that was all Naruto’s doing. He didn’t even hesitate to end that insect’s life. The same goes for your teammate, Kiba was it? As for me corrupting him, I am sorry, but that is your village’s fault on that one. You have beaten him, trashed him, ignored him, left him for dead, betrayed him, and crushed his heart, among other things even we demons are against. You call us demons, but I wonder: Who is the real monster. That is clearly not me. That would be you.”

Hinata now tries to crawl backwards as Koukon stalks his way towards her. She was saved by Koukon being encased by a wooden prison. Yamoto jumps down as he says, “So, Kyuubi is out? Well, with my Kekei Genkai, I will restrain you, and make you repent for your sins.”

Koukon laughs as he says, “Come on! Do you really think that this knock off wood manipulation can hold me? Surely you jest. (Koukon breaks free without effort and proceeds to decapitate Yamoto with a youki enhanced uppercut.) Seriously, you need to think your strategy through on that. And look who decided to join the party. It is the pink mesuinu who thought she could manipulate my Otouto. Pathetic.”

Sakura is now standing in front of Hinata with tears going down her face. Tsunade, who just escaped from Mei, appears as well. She says, “Naruto, snap out of it! You can’t let the Kyuubi gain control!”

Koukon stares at her before he starts to laugh as he says, “Really? That the best you can come up with? FYI, he LET me control him for a little bit. I am here to help him escape, but not before I have my just desserts with you ningens. Just call it Naruto’s revenge on you fuckers.”

Tsunade’s and Sakura’s eyes widen at that. Before they could react, Koukon punches Sakura hard and makes her crash into the statue if the Senju. Tsunade then retaliates with a punch to the face, but Koukon is unaffected by it. He smirks as he grabs her forehead, and painfully removes her genjutsu, revealing her real old age. Koukon shakes head at the idiot before he forms a Raikiri in his hand and pierces her with it. As Tsunade stares at Koukon during her last moments, Koukon then says, “Your Grandparents and uncle are waiting for you now, along with your Dan and Nawaki. They are pissed, so this is the least of your worries. Have a horrible afterlife.”

Koukon drops Tsunade onto the ground and jumps away. He summons the wind to form a barrier around him. Taking note of his job done mostly, he starts to go through handsigns at speeds that no one with the trained eye could see. 275 handsigns later, Koukon then calls out, “Akuma Hijutsu: Seken Dimenshon Unsou no Jutsu!”

A circle forms underneath Koukon as he slowly releases his control and his life. He takes one last look at the Konoha ninja who were trying to stop him, which only ended up with them getting cut to ribbons and killed by the other ninja. Koukon smirks again as he says, “This is a message directly from Naruto! SO LONG FUCKERS!”

Koukon fully release his control as Naruto, now regaining control, is engulfed by a light. Naruto then takes one look with his own eyes. He then proceeds to flip them off as he disappears into whatever world he would go to. The Konoha ninja at the location were either captured or killed by the other Allied Shinobi Forces. Everyone would remember this day as the day that Naruto saved all of the Ninja World. His tale would be passed down for generations to come.

(Spira – Baaj Temple ruins)

The ruins of an ancient city were still. The waters calm and the night was young. Stars were gleaming and the fiends were about. All was somewhat peaceful, until a light appears. It illuminates the area for a few moments until it dies out quickly. As it goes, Naruto is now panting on the ground from the travel. He felt like that something was extracted from his being, and it was painful. Naruto looks around the desolate place, wondering where the hell he was at. He calls out for anyone, but got no answer.

Naruto sighs before he sees a temple off in the distance. Even though it was in shambles, it beats being out here. He then starts water walking toward the temple. As he walks, he takes note of the ruins and how they were laid out. He figures that these ruins were old, probably from a battle long ago. He continues walking until he notices something glistening off of his path. He walks toward it, and picks up what looks like some sort of sphere bordered by a gold ring. He looks at the foreign language and couldn’t figure out for the life of him what it meant. He inspects it until he finds what he reads ‘Basic Language if Spira – Learn how to speak the basic language and Al Bhed.’

Naruto stares at it blankly as he involuntarily asks, Hey Koukon, do you got anything on this?

Naruto gets no response as he slowly realizes that Koukon was gone. He was the one being extracted from him during the jump. Naruto looks down as he sheds tears for his departed brother. He ten shakes his head and remembers that Koukon would want him to get his ass over it and move on. He decides to do so, but makes a personal note to leave a memorial of him. He inspects the sphere again, and finds a switch. He flicks it, and is instantly hit by a painful headache. Languages and symbols were flowing into his mind, slowly integrating into his head. Naruto grasps his head as this goes on, and tries to bear with it remembering his Kage Bunshins the pain lasts for a while before it subsides.

“Man, was that painful,” Naruto says out loud.

He then inspects the sphere and finds that he could now read the other languages. It basically read the same thing, but he was glad that he could understand it now.

That’s good. Now, I am guessing that Spira is the world that I am at now. Since there is nobody here, I might as well take a look around.

Naruto puts the sphere into a storage seal on his clothes for future reference. He notices the state of it and presses chakra into another seal. The clothes slowly regenerate back into its normal state. Naruto smiles at this before continuing on toward the temple.

He reaches it in who knows how long, and finds that the place is sealed. Curious about the place, Naruto starts to climb the building while looking for an entrance. He looks for a while and grows frustrated at the sight of no entry point. Naruto, being him, improvises and jumps down back to the entrance. He prepares a Rasengan and throws it, causing the entrance to explode and create an opening. Naruto smirks at his work as he walks in.

He admires the layout of the temple, but stops as he hears a mysterious chanting. He feels creeped out by the sudden music and wonders where it came from. He sees another opening and uses his advanced hearing to judge the source of the chanting. He sees that the opening leads to the source and goes through. As he goes along, the chanting grows stronger and stronger. He also feels the great sadness and darkness of it. He stops momentarily as he notices two swords laid out. They were averaged sized, double-edged, red and silver in color, and weigh about the size of a heavier than normal katana. He takes them both and decides to keep them for now. He hangs them off of his back in an ‘X’ pattern.

He then continues on toward the voice. The chanting was now stronger than ever. He could feel the wave of sadness coming at him, as if it was testing him of his worth. Naruto, being used to this kind of pain, pushes onward. He then comes up to a door. He figures that this is where the chanting was coming from. He could tell by the design of the room that this place was one for worship, but t looked more like a waiting area. He also sees the intricate design of the door. It was black in color, with a circle pattern labeled with runes and such. He takes a deep breath, and moves to the door. As if it were abiding on his advancements, the door opens. Naruto stares at the hole before he walks slowly in.

Naruto gapes at the shrine in front of him. By now, the chanting was coming at full blast. Naruto looks at the shrine and sees the design. A woman was encased inside of it, while the shrine itself looked like it was encased by a cocoon. It glowed a low blue hue.

Naruto walks up to the shrine and touches the shrine. The shrine flashes, so Naruto covers his eyes. Once cleared, he opens them to see a young woman of a different kind of humanoid species standing before him, only she was ghostly, like she was dead. She had a sad smile, that seemed to not fit her exuberant blue hair.

Naruto asks, “Um, excuse me, but what are you?”

The woman looks at Naruto before she says, “Hm, I see. You are not from here. I can feel the energy, the power flowing from you. It is different, demonic, but good at the same time.”

“What?” was Naruto’s intelligent response.

The woman laughs bitterly as she says, “Do not worry young man; I am here to guide you. You see, I am a faith.”

Naruto looks at her strangely as he asks, “What is a faith? And why does this place feel so sad, like a tragedy happened here?”

“A faith, you see, is a collection of what you call souls into a sentient being. We then judge a summoner through a test of determination, among other things. Summoners, in this world, use us faiths to summon Aeons, creatures of immense power, to aid them in a pilgrimage. It all leads to the confrontation of a being of destruction known as Sin. To your other question, yes, I met a tragic end here. My son used me as a sacrifice for power a long time ago.”

Naruto’s eyes widen as he says, “W-what? Your own son did that?”

The woman nods solemnly before Naruto says, “That teme. I will make sure he pays for that. Now, about this summoner, why tell me this? What about this, ‘Sin’?”

The Faith the replies, “The reason as to why I am telling you this is because that you are becoming a summoner yourself. That means that you will have to fight Sin.”

Naruto nods at this as he asks, “What is Sin?”

“It is a creature that is the embodiment of torture and destruction that has terrorized Spira for centuries ever since the Great Summoner War. The reason of the pilgrimage is for you to travel to Zanarkand, a ruined metropolis, and obtain the Final Summoning. The drawback, is that it costs the User his life. Also, you need to sacrifice a companion,” the Faith replies.

Naruto then says, “I will not do that. If I have to defeat Sin thanks to the sacrifice of a friend, I would rather die than that. I will find a way around it, and I WILL succeed, I promise on that.”

The faith smiles at that and says, “That is why you will become a summoner. You can defy destiny by your choice and actions. You will bring in an Eternal Calm for Spira. You will be our Avatar. You will be our, ‘Dream of the Faith’ for the ones who died.”

Naruto stares at her before taking out a kunai, stabbing himself in the hand, and hold out his hand while saying, “I think that I understand what you are saying. Alright, I will take this mission. I will become your ‘Dream of the Faith’, your avatar, who will defeat Sin without any of my friends dying. I vow by my blood to go by these words or die trying.”

The Faith smiles again as she says, “Thank you. I can see that you will bring peace to our world. Now, Naruto Namikaze, I will imbue you with two Aeons. One of which, my son uses. His name is Anima, and he is the embodiment of the sorrow and darkness which I experienced after my son’s betrayal. The other one, I am not sure. He has never been called upon before, but I am sure that he will reveal himself to you soon. Now, I want you to find a fellow summoner by the name of Yuna Belaska. She will help you in your endeavors.”

Naruto then asks, “Wait. What is your son’s name?”

“Seymour. Seymour Guado,” the woman answers.

Naruto nods and says, “I’ll be sure to give him what he deserves.”

The Faith says, “Thank you. Don’t be too harsh on him though.”

Naruto nods and braces himself. The Faith then charges into Naruto. Naruto flinches from the pain of receiving the summons and glows blue for a little bit. As it dies, Naruto feels regenerated and alive. As he leaves, he hears the Hymn go again. Taking note of it, he exits into the light.

Naruto reappears at a different location. He sees that he is now in some sort of entrance hall. He decides to take a break and make a campfire. He gathers the sufficient supplies, and does a small fire jutsu to start it. He sits by, admiring the flames going. Remembering one thing, Naruto gets up and does some handsigns. He punches the ground and a slab of steel is pushed out. Naruto takes out a standard kunai and starts to carve the memorial. After going at it for a while, Naruto steps back to read what he wrote out. It said, ‘Here lies the Koukon, the greatest companion anyone could ask for. RIP brother, NUN.’

Naruto then goes back to the fire, only to find it going out. He tries to keep it alive, but his ninja senses detected a danger. He moves, only to dodge a creature from jumping on him.

“What the hell are you?” Naruto asks.

The creature was truly grotesque in appearance. It had an insect like boy, four legs which were more spears, and a curved head. It hisses at Naruto, causing him to draw a kunai out and throws it at it. It hits, but it causes the creature to grow angry. He dodges a charge attack, and takes out the two swords he found earlier and hangs them down by his side. He charges at the creature and slashes at its side. The creature screeches in pain before it launches some sort of liquid out of its mouth. Naruto swiftly dodges it and spits out some wind bullets. They hit the creature, making it stumble. Naruto then jumps into the air and stabs the creature in the head, killing it off. The creature sways before dropping dead and fading in a light. Naruto assumes that those lights were the souls of something.

Before he could relax, another creature of the same kind appears. Naruto curses as he says, “Libra.” He didn’t know how, but the name of the technique he said allowed him to analyze the creature. He sees its weak points, string points, and its name. Naruto takes his blades at the now known Machea and charges, but his advancement was stopped by an explosion from the wall. Several men in breathing masks and suits come in and proceed to shoot the creature. The Machea screeches before it lashes out with its tail. Naruto, taking advantage of the distraction, focuses wind chakra into one of his swords, and throws it hard. The sword slices through the fiend’s legs clean. The creature falls as Naruto jumps onto it and stabs it in the head with the other sword in his hand. The fiend dies swiftly.

As the fiend fades, Naruto takes a look at the newcomers. Before he could say anything, one of them starts to speak, saying, “Hold it! There is a human here!”

Another man points his weapon at Naruto and says, “No! He could be a fiend in disguise.”

“I don’t know about you all, but I see a human. And man, did he know how to fight!” A girl’s voice says. The one who said the last sentence, walks up to Naruto and asks, “Hey, where did you learn how to fight like that?”

Naruto would’ve answered, but he was reacquainted with the ground as he lost consciousness from traveling, battle, and chakra exhaustion.

 

AN: So, how was it? By now, you could tell that Naruto has now taken up Tidus’s role in the fic. Also, he is a summoner now as well. His discussion with Seymour’s mother was what engaged that opportunity. Obviously, one of his summons is Anima. The other one, well that is your choice. It will be up to you all to decide on who Naruto’s second Aeon is. Leave suggestions in the reviews or PM’s to me. Also, I have given Naruto the doujutsu he has in my other fic, Epitaph of Twilight. Also, the death of Koukon was epic if you asked me. I let him kick some ass before he tells them to fuck off. Even Naruto did that before his possession. Once again, there was Konoha bashing. It was the same scenario as Senshi of the Sun and Darkness, but with some major changes. Alright, that covers everything.
