There was nothing but darkness surrounding him. The deceptive softness of the blindfold kept him sightless of what what was around him. Every now and again the scent of water and salt would waft to his nostrils, but other than that, Itachi Uchiha could not decipher exactly where he was or where he was bound. He knew there were at least four other people in the carriage (at least he thought it was a carriage) with him. There was not much he could hear except for the heavy sounds of  the horses hooves as they pulled the carriage and the occasional snap of a whip.

Itachi desperately wished he hadn’t woken up in the middle of the night. The commotion outside of his rather large home had not been his business, but to keep appearances, he had donned his robe over his pajamas and slipped outside. What he had seen shocked him to his core. There were humanoid creatures. Surely they hadn’t been human with their long, twisted limbs, large jaws, and ghastly skin color, snatching people from the small quiet town? For whatever reason he had been overlooked but, as he retreated into his home, he had been nabbed and blindfolded.

Not much scared Itachi, for he was a man who had always kept his cool no matter the situation, however, he couldn’t help the small tendril of fear that danced in the back of his mind. He had been so sure, before tonight, that everything had a logical explanation. Itachi was a man of science, but he had to admit no amount of logic or scientific experiment could explain this situation.

Even though his hands were bound, Itachi had been able to pinch himself several times to wake from what he was convinced was a nightmare. But as he pinched his hands, the flesh aching from the multiple attempts, he realized that this wasn’t a dream and he was in fact, awake and dealing with reality.

No matter how much he tried to relax, he found he couldn’t force it. There was an ominous threat permeating the air and Itachi found himself believing the tales of demons his mother had told him when he was just a young child. As his mind filtered through the stories, he couldn’t find any to match the creature he had seen before his sight had been taken from him. He wasn’t a particularly religious man so the concept of angels and demons were foreign to Itachi. He found Christianity not to his tastes and kept his mind in science.

And even now, blindfolded and helpless, he wasn’t praying to any deity. A lesser man would be and Itachi didn’t doubt that the other captives were more than likely bargaining for their lives. He wasn’t positive one way or the other if he had a soul, it wasn’t something Itachi dwelled on often if at all.

The jerking halt of the carriage ripped Itachi from his thoughts. His body lurching forward violently as no one caught it. Thankfully his head didn’t hit any protruding objects and he still had his wits about him. He was suddenly pulled roughly out of the carriage and set onto solid earth. The ground below his feet certainly didn’t feel like a brick street. He was led by his hands, Itachi guessed they had a rope or a chain attached to his bindings.

He had been thankful in that particular moment that he had slipped on his house loafers, but Itachi wished he had at least grabbed his pistol. He wasn’t certain if it would work on these creatures, but it certainly was a thought. He was pulled along and though he couldn’t see, Itachi had no problem walking. He could distantly hear the others beg for their lives only to be answered by sinister laughter that sent chills down his spine. Whatever mess Itachi was in, he hoped he could make it out alive and block these memories.

Even while being led blind, Itachi was still graceful as he felt the air shift around him. It cast a feeling that had his skin prickling with warning that whatever was about to happen, was pure evil. He could hear the others now more clearly as they whimpered, apparently they had finally realized that it was futile to beg for their lives.

Itachi knew without a doubt these creatures held no sympathy for their captives. It was obvious in how they spoke to each other, not so much in words since he couldn’t understand their language, but it was evident in their tone. Itachi had learned long ago that tone was as important as the words, if not more. He could feel the cool night air on his face, as the smell of fire and burning wood assaulted his nose. Only a touch of the heat drifted over and caressed him, even through his heavy wool robe, Itachi could feel the warmth.

Chanting filled the air as the heavy beat of drums weighed down the air. The fast tempo making Itachi’s heart fall in sync with the beats. It was an interesting reaction and he wished he could document it for later, just in case he survived this night. But Itachi had an eerie feeling that he would never go back to his old life in London and that this night would change who he was.

The drumming came to a stop, the last note resounding through the air and imprinting itself into his brain. It was silent, the air heavy with fear and anticipation, crawling along Itachi’s skin even though he had multiple layers of clothes on. It was a feeling that would forever be burned into his mind and very being.

Cold hands brushed against his neck as the blindfold was removed and Itachi’s eyes immediately tried to adjust to the brightness of the orange flames. He squinted as his blurry vision evened out and what he saw, chilled him to his bones.

Dark figures were standing shockingly still around the huge fire, their silhouettes large and casting long shadows. Itachi found everything he knew about science leaving his head. Nothing could explain the world around him, it was obvious he wasn’t anywhere on Earth or if he was, it was a part that had not been discovered yet. The trees surround them in a circle were tall and black, the deep cracks in the bark soaking up any light from the fire.

Dark eyes took in everything around them, from the shivering captives to the stone still figures who watched over them, their stony faces revealing no expression. It was disconcerting since they had no mouths, and their eyes a solid black. He dared not to move his head anymore to observe the people around him. A few had passed out from the morbid display, their bodies littering the cold ground.

Time seemed to pass slowly as the stony guardian stood as silent sentinels. Itachi had no clue how long they waited in the cold of the night, the orange moon casting a glow over the strange congregation of people. It was when the moon reached the highest peak that the air was charged with a strange electricity the cracks small until the grew louder as a hole ripped into the fire and out stepped an entourage of what looked to be humans.

But Itachi wasn’t deceived in the least, he didn’t miss the large, dark red wings that sprouted from the human forms. It reminded him of a painting of Lucifer his mother had shown him a long time ago. But these wings were more graceful and artistic than the ones in the painting. They were larger as well, spanning a good ten feet from tip to tip. The hooks on the ends of the wings were crooked and looked as though they were bone, the startling white against the red was certainly strange.

They were graceful in their movements, their robes elegantly flowing around them as though they were a living entity. They covered the bodies, not a shred of skin was shown as they walked past the guardians. It was as if they melted into the darkness and it obeyed them. Itachi had no doubts they were something sinister and otherworldly. Everything he thought he knew crumbled as the figures glided until they were facing the circle of captives, their hoods hiding any distinguishable features.

Silence reigned over the captives, the beings in front of them demanded their attention with just their presence and aura. It was commanding as it swirled around him, demanding he stare at them as the air around grew heavier and heavier. Itachi could hear the sound of bodies dropping to the ground with a dead thud. He wanted to look, but knew better so he kept his eyes trained on the robed figures.

The bodies stopped dropping and Itachi had guessed that there were others who had known better than to look away. The moments stretched out in silence, a few people began to question the beings only to vanish into thin air. Itachi didn’t show any reaction, he knew what was happening, they were weeding out the weak. Whatever they were gathered for, it had called for people who knew how to adapt to their situation in an instant.

When the group was calm again, the beings stepped forward, their wings extended up above their heads and Itachi was certain they were the messengers of Death, for who else could be so imposing and intimidating? There was nothing that came to Itachi’s mind that was as cruel and imposing as these creatures.

Itachi wasn’t sure what he was feeling as the sleeve covered arms rose up and removed the hoods. The movement seemed too slow, building the tension higher and higher until they were palpable in the air. What Itachi saw took his breath away, it certainly wasn’t what he expected.

They were beautiful, their faces completely human without any deformities. Itachi was shocked by how smooth their cheeks were as bright eyes scanned the small circle. There were various shades of colors, ranging from blue to brown. He would have thought them human if not for the wings on their backs. He found this amazing and had to keep himself in check, his hands itching to just examine these extraordinary beings.

“You are here to prove yourselves to us,” a deep voice echoed through the air, sounding through Itachi’s very being. It was commanding and rich, something that was hardly found in Itachi’s world. It was dangerous as well, an underlying threat laid just beneath the silky tone.

“We are creatures you thought imaginary, demons,” another voice voice spoke up, this one slightly not as deep as the first. Itachi wondered who had passed out from this revelation and who was still standing, though he dare not look. There was not a sound of a body hitting the ground, so he assumed that no one was shocked by this news. The evidence was right in front of them, after all.

“We have a test you will participate in, you have no choice,” the same voice carried on, the words lifted by the wind and echoing through the night air. There were no protests again and Itachi knew that all the weak had been weeded out. Whatever lay before them now was going to be hell, he could observe that much.

“Behind you is a maze, all entrances lead to the same place and if you make it there, you live,” the creature spoke on, a large hand pointing to the trees behind the humans. “You will be tested greatly and frequently. If you make it safely to the end of your maze, all questions will be answered.”

As the small speech ended, weapons appeared in front of Itachi, ranging from a katana to a large axe to a mace. Immediately his hand wrapped around the only sword, the other weapons fading from sight. He assumed it was safe to look around now and when he turned his head, he saw other men and no traces of a woman whatsoever. They had picked the larger weapons and left the sword alone and Itachi started to doubt his choice.

But as the others entered their respective forests, Itachi realized just how heavy the axes and maces were. They would only serve to slow the men down and having to carry that much weight around would only be a hindrance. And as he thought, he realized that it would be useless to wear his robe. It would only serve to get in his way and snatch onto a tree limb or something. So Itachi plunked the katana down into the earth and shed his robe, grabbing the belt from it and then letting it fall to the ground. He cut the belt down to a reasonable size and pulled his hair back.

Satisfied that he had made the necessary preparations, Itachi entered his own maze with squared shoulders. There would be time to attempt to process everything later, but right now wasn’t the time. As he entered the forest, Itachi noticed the temperature had dropped slightly, not enough to be alarming, but enough to put him on guard.

The orange moonlight filtering through the naked fingers of the trees was only enough to light his path. The deeper parts of the maze were dark, fog spilling from the darkness as the moon’s light cast an eerie glow. Itachi could swear he was seeing something swirling in the mist, but as he blinked his eyes to get a clearer look, it was gone.

Shaking his head, Itachi stepped deeper into the thick grove of trees. It was unnatural how tall they were and how close knit together they were as well. The deep grooves in the bark seemed to soak up any extra light the moon provided. Itachi was tempted to stick his hand into one of the grooves, but decided against it since he didn’t know exactly what kind of tree this was.

Itachi was slow in his exploration, not wanting to trip any traps or awaken something ghastly that he wouldn’t be able to fight off. The deeper he went into the maze, the colder it became. The sharp iciness of the air pierced through his warm clothes. But Itachi ignored it in favor of examining his surroundings, searching for any clue he could find as to what direction he would go.

As he explored, he found it odd that he was still going straight, that there were no forks on the path. As he passed a tree, Itachi noticed a groove that had an odd shape. He was never one to miss anything and he found it odd that this particular shape was in the exact form of a crescent moon. Frowning he gazed at it, ignoring the path as he looked up and realized that the moonlight wasn’t hitting it. Deciding that it couldn’t harm anything, Itachi used his katana to swipe away some of the younger branches and let the light pass through.

When the orange beam lit up the dark groove, a path was revealed before his very eyes. Itachi had no doubts this was the right direction and so he stepped into the now hollow tree and walked the path littered with nothing but dead, decomposing leaves that were lifted every once in awhile with a stray breeze.

The cold was ignored as a shriek pierced the very air around Itachi as though there were a person right beside him. To his credit, Itachi didn’t jump, he only glanced around him to at least find the source. But when he found no one was anywhere near him, he continued. The deeper he strode into the maze, the darker it became. There was little light now, and he had to rely on his feet to feel the path before him.

This time an evident fork in the pathway was well lit by the moon. Itachi’s eyes had no problem picking up the worn path to the right and the smooth one to the left. It was obvious which one was highly travelled and he had to wonder if this was part of an elaborate trap. It was obvious which way was more dangerous, judging by the sets of footprints and how many came back this way versus the many that went forward.

He stood there, debating his choices when a slight breeze picked up and erased part of the footprints. Frowning, Itachi used his right foot to wipe away the footsteps. He had his answer, this was obviously a trap to make him take the less travelled road. Gathering his courage, he continued as the sounds of night echoed through his ears. Everything he had heard and everything he saw would haunt him, of that much he was sure.

Keeping his resolve, Itachi marched on slowly, making sure that the ground was solid beneath his feet as he went. He could hear the howl of a wolf in the distance, the sound unlike anything he had heard on Earth and knew immediately it wasn’t the run of the mill wolf. But it too was ignored as Itachi focused on his own task and didn’t let anything distract him.

The branches overhead were thickly intertwined the deeper he went. There was not a centimeter of a hole between them. Itachi rested for a moment, letting his eyes adjust to the new darkness. Many people made the mistake of not allowing their eyes to adjust to a new brightness or dimness and were temporarily blinded. Itachi was a man who was well aware of this fact and he took advantage of it, if he rested now, he would have strength to continue. There was no need to rush to the center when he could make it there as safely as possible.

As he slowly regained his strength, Itachi realized that this nightmare could carry on until he died. It was a thought that didn’t sit well with him. He had no choice but to move on and keep his head relatively empty of such depressing thoughts. Itachi wanted to survive, the need to consumed his very being. He may have been only human, but he had a life he wanted to live.

Standing, Itachi brushed the dirt from his clothes and moved on deeper into the maze. He was still alert, just because he hadn’t seen any danger didn’t mean it was lurking somewhere in the dark. It was like he was wandering aimlessly, whether to his death or something else, Itachi couldn’t tell. But all he knew was that he hadn’t run into another soul yet.

The howling was closer now, but as Itachi listened to it, he realized that it wasn’t wolves. A shudder wracked his body as he realized it was a very human sound. His hand gripped the katana tighter as he trudged forward. He couldn’t stop now and be left behind to rot in this Godforsaken place.

Deeper and deeper into the dark maze he went, Itachi’s eyes roaming for clues and any sort of trap that was waiting in the shadows. They seemed to stretch further without any light, which he thought odd but didn’t think further upon on it.

The smell of blood hit his nostrils, it was rank as though it had been roasting in the sun for several hours. Itachi didn’t dare look in the direction of the smell, for fear of seeing something he exactly want didn’t to see. He was used to dead bodies on a slab after they had been cleaned off. And if his gut was correct, there was more than likely a mangled body somewhere to his left.

Bypassing the worst area of the stench, Itachi never took his gaze from the path in front of him. But when he felt something close around his ankle, he had no choice to stop. He did it rather calmly much to his own surprise and when he looked down, he regretted ever stopping. The thing, for it couldn’t be called anything else, was nothing more than a few muscles and bones. The flesh had long rotted off and the organs had either decayed a long time ago or they had been eaten by some animal.

Not hesitating, Itachi slid his katana through the thing’s skull, he couldn’t even tell if it had been female or male any longer. The hand around his ankle relaxed its grip and he was able to step away with little problem. The image of the once human creature would haunt Itachi in his dreams, even though he was used to seeing such a thing in a controlled setting. It seemed that the scene made all the difference, something he never would have guessed before.

His mind was whirling with this experience and while Itachi wanted to sort it out, he couldn’t afford to lose any time in doing so. And it wasn’t only that, if he were to take his time and try to analyze this night, he would be caught off guard and be killed. He had no illusions as to what would happen to him if he were to stop and think. The best thing Itachi could do was to move on and keep focussed.

As he walked deeper and deeper into the maze, he couldn’t help but wonder where the challenges were. The demon had said there would be frequent tests, but if Itachi were to count the hidden pathways and other such things, then it was possibly those were the easiest of the maze. And if they were, Itachi was dreading exactly what was laying ahead. He had been expecting more than just tricks and something more grotesque. But it seemed that wasn’t the case as he delved deeper into the maze.

Itachi wished he had his pocket watch on him so he could have kept track of time. He hated the feeling of not knowing just how much had passed as he wandered the maze. It was awful the suffocation that came with not knowing how much time had passed since he had been kidnapped off his stoop. There was also the possibility that his watch wouldn’t work here, wherever here was. The katana in his hand was slightly getting heavier, so Itachi switched it to his other hand. He had kept moving the weapon from hand to hand so that neither one would tire out. He was better with his left, but the right could get things done if he needed it too.

A cold breeze kicked up and ruffled along his hair, pulling the low ponytail back as Itachi’s eyes watched for anything out of the ordinary. He wasn’t disappointed when he saw a large figure standing proudly in front of an ornate door in a small open clearing. It was the shape of the creature that had him perplexed as he stopped in front of it. He had seen the paintings and hieroglyphics of a sphinx before, but to see the creature in real life was something he had never expected.

It was tall, towering over Itachi by several feet. The dark hair was decorated with golden beads and other fine jewels that glittered under the moonlight that shone down on the proud head. The face was beautiful, sharp features that were elegant and wise. It was clear the sphinx was female with the breasts that were barely covered by a draped jeweled collar. Her fur was golden brown as it flowed down strong, powerful arms and came to an end with large paws. She was breathtakingly beautiful, but the power that lurked under her beauty was palpable in the air.

Itachi approached with caution, the golden eyes of the sphinx watching his every move until he was standing below her. He bowed in her presence, a sign of respect before he straightened his body and acknowledged her presence.

“Great Sphinx, it is an honor to meet one as lovely as you,” he said honestly, his eyes not wavering from hers as he spoke. And Itachi spoke the truth on her beauty, he was not flattering her for a favor. He had never seen a creature so beautiful before.

“You are polite and kind,” the sphinx said with a gracious smile. “You do not belong here, but this is not the time. Are you ready for your riddle, young mortal?”

Itachi nodded his head firmly, delaying the inevitable was not the correct move at this point in time. He knew from experience that some things you did not let fester and in this case, he would be wise to move on as fast as he could. He had no doubt that if he delayed, the sphinx would cause him harm regardless of whether she liked him or not.

“I never was, am always to be, no one ever saw me, nor ever will. And yet I am the confidence of all to live and breathe on this terrestrial ball. What am I?” She asked, her voice airy and filling the air around him. The atmosphere around Itachi was heavy with the promise of a devastating fate if he did not answer correctly.

He thought for several moments, thinking on her words and letting the gears turn in his head as answers filtered through his brain. He thought long on it before he finally had what he thought to be the answer. “Tomorrow,” he said with confidence, his head held high as he answered.

The sphinx nodded and moved, revealing ornate gates that were solid. They creaked as they opened, the stone grinding against the pillars they were attached to. Itachi nodded his head in thanks as he passed through the gates, the sound of them closing behind him jarring his ears.

The area in front of him was clear, the moon shining down brightly and illuminating the area. Itachi was on edge as silence blanketed the clearing. The grass beneath his slippered feet was gray, laying tightly against the ground as if it were patted down by feet daily. The trees that surrounded it in a circular motion were as gray as the grass, their branches only reaching out a short distance.

Itachi swore it looked like a small arena, but no blood could be detected as he walked to the middle. There were no other exits besides the one he had passed through. The moments were long as they ticked on, Itachi’s stance defensive as though anything could happen at that moment in time. His head swiveled at noises he thought to be imaginary. A dark cloud rolled over the moon and blocked any light that might have helped him see.

A small stream of light that passed through the cloud alerted Itachi to the gleam of steel. He barely had any time to raise his own weapon and defect the mace that was aimed at his face. The strong blow of the weapon had his body buckling as he fought to stay on his feet. If it hadn’t been for that sliver of moonlight, Itachi was sure he would dead.

As he backed away from his opponent, the moon resurfaced and shone down on the clearing, illuminating the other man in front of Itachi. The man was covered from head to toe in blood, his eyes wide with madness as they narrowed in on Itachi’s slim frame.

It was that madness that had Itachi wary as the man barreled towards him, the mace held high as he inched closer. The arc of the mace was wide, missing its target by a foot at least, giving Itachi room to maneuver around the crazed man. It was obvious that whatever the man had endured in the maze had made him lose his mind. He no longer capable of further function as a human as bloodlust had completely taken him over.

Itachi wasn’t sure if he could classify the man as human anymore with the way he moved. His limbs were jerky as he swung the mace, not even bothering to see if they would connect with the intended target or not. Itachi knew the only way to end this was to kill the man who was intent on ending his existence. But he wasn’t sure if he could kill another human being, mad or not.

As he struggled with the war within himself, Itachi was able to dodge the crazed swings of the mace. He knew he was only angering the other man with his constant evasions, but he didn’t fancy dying right that second. His mind was trying to provide an outcome that didn’t involve him killing another human. But as the fight continued, he was becoming predictable and if the madman had any intelligence left, he would notice a pattern soon.

Swinging the mace was tiring the man and Itachi was running out of time to make a decision. He didn’t wish to kill another, but it seemed it was the only way he could survive this and receive the answers he wanted so desperately. Then he wondered if he would be doing the man a favor with the state he was in. He was nothing more than an animal at this point and had no human functions about him.

It was a grim decision, but Itachi’s mind had been made up. He would take this man’s life only to ease the suffering. He didn’t want to fulfill this task, but it had to be done. So Itachi stopped dodging the man right out and began to attack, his katana clanging against the mace and ringing throughout the area. The bigger was stronger, there was no doubt about that, but he had no clue as how to harness that strength and deliver a winning blow.

Itachi took advantage of this and used it against him, driving the man back as he tired from swinging the heavy weapon. It didn’t matter how strong or how big your weapon was, if you didn’t utilize your tools to the best of your knowledge, you would not win. Itachi was very aware of this fact and used it expertly as he found an opening and used it to slide the katana through the man’s heart. The dead body fell to the ground with a muffled thump and Itachi swore it was like a god had hit the ground.

His hands were trembling as he dropped the sword, the metal not making a sound as it hit the earth. Itachi’s eyes were wide as they stared at the dead body, blood still seeping from the wound in the man’s chest. He had aimed for the heart and his sword had struck true. He wanted to break down but knew that this nightmare couldn’t be over just yet. Itachi bent down to pick up his sword as the wind picked up.

Quickly jumping back to his feet, Itachi brandished the sword as one of the demons appeared before him, a feral grin stretching the full lips. It was the fact he seemed mostly human that intrigued Itachi, from head to toe he looked human, the only things setting him aside were the large, red wings and horns that prodded out from his skull. When he showed his hands, Itachi noticed that they were curved with sharp nails that soon melted into normal human hands. He was fascinated by this fact, but still kept his guard up.

“My, you certainly have come far,” the demon purred, stepping closer to Itachi and towering over him. The other’s hair was long and blond, falling down and spilling over his broad shoulders. His chest was bare and only a loin cloth was covering his hips. Blue eyes were burning bright as a hand snaked around Itachi’s head and pulled the impromptu tie from his his ponytail.

The large hand picked up a few strands of hair and brought them to his nose, inhaling Itachi’s scent deeply. The mortal had no idea what was going on, but his hand stayed on the katana until it disappeared from his hand. Itachi panicked for a brief moment, he had no weapon to defend himself against this opponent, so he tried to push the larger body away, only to fail.

“I believe your challenge is over,” the demon chuckled as he swiftly gathered Itachi into his arms and they disappeared from the clearing and reappeared in a room. It was nothing like the London home Itachi had lived in, this instead was made out of a cave it seemed, lit by torches that lined the walls. He was unsure of what would happen now and the thought scared him.

“So what now?” He asked as he was set on his feet and allowed to move from the warm body. He was still waiting for some other test to pop up.

“I believe it was stated I would answer any question you wanted,” was the rumbled answer as the other male took a seat on a rather large chair, allowing his wings to be spread comfortably.

“Why was I taken?” Itachi asked first, needing to wrap his head around that answer and figure out just why he was kidnapped.

“Originally, you weren’t supposed to be taken,” the demon answered, his eyes serious as he studied Itachi. “But since you were nosy and poked your head outside, it couldn’t be helped. We have strict laws when it comes to these sorts of things. But I couldn’t allow you to die, you intrigued me, little human, and I had to test your limits.”

Itachi was stunned by the answer. He didn’t understand what was so enticing about him that a demon had to bend the rules. He was stumped for a moment as he thought, his head cocked to the side as he ran a hand through his hair.

“But I’m just a human, there is nothing extraordinary about me,” he finally answered, turning burning dark eyes to the demon. He was taking this very well, but Itachi knew it would only be a matter of time before he broke down.

The demon moved from the chair so fast, Itachi couldn’t see him until he was hovering over him. A large hand cupped his face as it tilted his head up so he could gaze up into bright blue orbs. “That is where you are wrong. Most humans do not survive the maze, you are one in only a hundred over the millennia who has accomplished such a feat. And I intend to claim you as my own. You see, it takes a special kind of human to be a mate to a demon and you, my dear little human, have what it takes.”

The demon’s free hand grabbed a few strands of his own hair and then proceeded to grasp some of Itachi’s, mingling the two colors together. The human had no idea how a demon could have such bright hair if he was to be a dark creature. The strands of blond and black were a contrast that Itachi thought he would never see, but somehow, he liked it.

“What do you mean mate?” Itachi asked, dark eyes darting from the hair being twirled in elegant hands to meet burning blue eyes.

“I will show you,” the other purred his breath ghosting over Itachi’s face as he swept the smaller  body closer to his and plundering the sweet mouth. At first the mortal didn’t reply, but when the demon nipped harshly at a lip and drew blood, he received the action he wanted. Itachi’s mouth opened for him and he delved his tongue, brushing it over the other muscle and bringing it to life.

Itachi had never been kissed like this before, not so possessively and dominating. His hands moved to the demon’s shoulders and clutched at the warm skin, his fingers digging in and leaving red marks as they slid. The sensations coursing through his body were new and exciting, his skin was prickling as large hands roamed down his body and then snuck under his pajama top.

He moaned into the kiss as the demon’s hands danced over his prickled flesh. Itachi’s senses were overwhelmed at the contact, he no longer cared about his fate or what he had done to get to this point. All that mattered to Itachi was his pleasure that was building in his body. He desperately returned the kiss that was currently hindering any thoughts he had. Nothing else existed for him as he pushed against the cave wall and the cold dampness seeped through his slim pajamas.

His clothes were ripped from his body, the remains laying on the cold ground as the demon’s warm flesh came into contact with his. A silky smooth texture made its way up Itachi’s thigh, caressing the skin as it moved higher and higher, making the mortal shudder with desire. He didn’t have a name to moan, or else it would have escaped his lips.

“Naruto,” the demon purred as licked a long line from collarbone to ear. “Say it, mortal!”

“Naruto!” Itachi gasped as the smooth texture moved over his straining erection, his eyes darting down to find it was a tail. His body shuddered as it kept twisting around his cock, coaxing the head to leak heavily as he threw his back, giving the demon more access to his neck.

The demon grinned against pale skin as he bit down into the succulent flesh, taking blood into his mouth as some of it slipped down Itachi’s body, leaving a warm trail. A clawed hand came up and smeared across a smooth chest, leaving a handprint as he moved from one side to the other.

“You look so delectable like this,” Naruto purred, inhaling the sweet scent deeply as his blue eyes flashed crimson, capturing lust ridden dark eyes and pulling them further into a mesmerizing haze. He wouldn’t have been able to pull Itachi fully under unless some part of the mortal had wanted this.

The tail around Itachi’s penis began to slow its pace, moving up and down slowly and dragging out the silky sensation. His back arched as his nails dug into the demon’s skin, drawing blood and adding to the coppery scent that permeated the air. It was so debauched and sinful that Naruto drunk it in with every fiber of his being. He knew he had been right when he had pegged Itachi for a lustful creature.

Itachi could feel his impending release pool in his stomach, the sensations that were running through his body were almost too much as it was worshipped. His skin had never tingled like this before, as though it were on fire and nothing could ever put it out.

“Naruto!” He moaned, his back arching as he felt everything about to spill. But it was restrained by the demon’s sinful tail as it wrapped tight around his cock and prevented his released. He whimpered at the treatment, turning fevered dark eyes to Naruto. “Please?”

A dark chuckle was his answer, the sound washing over him like a cold waterfall in winter. The tail stayed in place for a few lingering moments, making sure he wouldn’t spill his seed. When a few moments had passed with nothing but the sound of heavy breathing filling the air, Naruto hoisted Itachi up further.

Long legs wrapped around the trim waist, Itachi’s erection grinding against Naruto’s stomach. A hand trailed down his back as the tail slipped up his body and toyed with a nipple, the sensation just as amazing as the one on his cock. Itachi arched and moaned. A finger ghosted over his opening, teasing the sensitive puckered skin. No one had ever touched him there before and his body shuddered as it was removed.

“Soon, you will be mine for eternity,” Naruto purred, conjuring a large vial and grasping it in his hand. Using his sharp teeth, he pulled the cork from the top and spat it out. It bounced off the wall and rolled over out of the torches light, forgotten as a slick finger teased Itachi, dipping in past the tight ring of muscles.

The intrusion was different, something he had never felt before and he wasn’t sure how he should feel. It was awkward and he tried to push the digit out of his body. But Naruto’s deep growl had him relaxing, he didn’t want to displease the demon in anyway. As the finger worked deeper into him, Itachi was distracted by sharp teeth nipping along his neck. They barely drug over his flesh, creating bumps in their wake as they worked lower and lower.

His erection was engulfed once more by the devious tail, the smooth texture providing the best distraction as another finger joined the first. They were uncomfortable and he wanted to beg Naruto to withdraw them, but refrained from doing so. He didn’t want to disappoint the demon and so he dealt with the discomfort.

But soon it ebbed away as a third was added the slick fingers brushed against a spot within him, causing Itachi to gasp and arch into Naruto. His heated, sweat skin sliding against the demon’s own abnormally warm flesh. The sliding of their bodies together had a low moan leaving Naruto’s lips. The contact was more than he could ever imagine being and he knew he was addicted.

Itachi couldn’t help but glance down, now that Naruto was not wearing a loincloth. The thick erection that hung there was long, bigger than what Itachi had ever seen. He slid a hand down to Naruto’s, grabbing the vial from the other’s hand and pouring the liquid on the cock that was near his.

The heavy organ was slathered in the oil, Itachi’s soft hand playing along the shaft. A hiss of breath left Naruto’s lips as the mortal continued to play with the cock in his hand. The nip of approval had Itachi gaining more confidence as his strokes melded from timid to confidant. He memorized the feel of the skin, the shape, the weight of Naruto’s cock.

“That’s it,” Naruto purred, nipping Itachi’s flesh. “You’re doing so well.”

The silken praises urged Itachi on as he poured more oil on Naruto’s organ. This time his touches were light as he looked up into burning red eyes. “I’m ready,” he said huskily, his tone low with lust as the fire played in his dark eyes.

Naruto lifted the smaller body up with one arm, making sure that Itachi’s hips were tipped forward for easy access. Using the leverage he had, Naruto allowed the wall to hold Itachi up as he used a hand to guide his slicked up erection to the hidden hole between the pale globes. He slid into the welcoming warmth, shoving all the way to the hilt.

A hiss of pain left Itachi’s lips as his eyes screwed shut. The width of Naruto’s cock burned his too stretched muscle, but it was a good burn as he slowly adjusted. His hands clutched at Naruto’s neck, nails digging in as he bit his lower lip. Slowly, Itachi exhaled, his chest moving with the motion and pushing against Naruto’s.

“You’re doing so well, Itachi,” Naruto whispered, his breath fanning out over the mortal’s ear as he pulled his cock and pushed back in. The moan that left Itachi’s mouth was music to Naruto, the sound reverberating throughout the cave and echoing around them.

The cock in him had him so full that Itachi was sure he was going to burst at the seams. He could feel it pulsing against his walls as it dived in and out, Naruto setting up a slow rhythm at first. It was heady and not rushed, something Itachi appreciated as he wrapped his legs tighter around Naruto’s waist.

Naruto groaned as he was pulled further into the velvet heat of Itachi’s ass. He had never had anyone who hugged his erection like this mortal. It was that moment the demon knew he was ruined for anyone else and he growled deep in his chest at the thought of anyone else touching what was his. His canines elongated before he pierced the juncture of Itachi’s neck and marking the mortal.

The wound would scar and in its place his family crest would appear on the pale skin. The other demons would know that he had claimed Itachi as his own and would teach the human how to be a demon. Pride welled up within Naruto that he had been the first in over a century to claim a human strong enough to pass the demon trial as he thrust deeper into Itachi. Yes, he was right when he thought this beautiful would look absolutely divine taking his cock.

Itachi moaned as the long cock in him brushed against something, sending sparks of pleasure throughout his body.He was too far gone to notice the shift in the air as ancient magic bound him to the demon. All the young mortal could focus was the cock in his ass bringing him immense pleasure. His pale was lit by the torches, the orange glow playing over his skin as a thin line of sweat began to form.

“Hmmm, you make the most delicious sounds,” Naruto purred as he shifted his hips and brushed against Itachi’s hidden bundle of nerves. The action had the man screaming hoarsely as he arched, his head hitting the cave wall as he clung desperately to Naruto. “Fuck, you’re mine!”

The growl had Itachi moving his own hips, he wanted to be a participant of this encounter and not just a bystander. The appreciative moan from Naruto alerted him that he was doing well, but he let out a small sound of surprise as the cock was pulled from his body and he was set on his feet.

He went to question Naruto, but words never came out as he turned around and pressed against the cool, damp wall of the cave. The wall itself was smoother than what he had imagined, but Itachi didn’t have much time to dwell on that as Naruto’s cock shoved back into him, this time much harsher than the first.

The harsh thrust wasn’t what caught Itachi’s attention. It was how much deeper the demon was going in this position, his cock pulsing within him. The tail was back again, brushing over Itachi’s needy cock as Naruto’s cock hit that spot deep in him. He desperately tried to grasp at the wall to have something to hold onto, but his hands came up empty. He whimpered but then a wing came into view and Itachi latched onto it, squeezing it between his fingers.

The wing wasn’t soft like the tail, instead it had felt like leather and Itachi adored it. Experimenting, he pulled the tip closer and nipped along the tough skin. Naruto’s reaction was instantaneous as he thrusted harshly into Itachi. He had never known his wings were so sensitive and he would reward his human for finding that out.

“Do you want release?” Naruto asked in sinful tone against Itachi’s ear, pumping his hips to accentuate his words.

“Yes! Please!” Itachi begged, grasping the wing tighter as he was slammed into over and again. Gone was the slow love making from earlier and in its place rough sex appeared. But he couldn’t bring himself to care as the silky tail closed around his own heavy erection, covering it from base to tip in a vice grip.

“I want to hear you beg for it!” Naruto growled, nipping an ear as his hands moved to the smooth chest and began to play with the pert nipples. He was coaxing more shivers out of Itachi as he continued to abuse them, alternating between gently pinches and harsh squeezing.

“I want to come! I want you to fuck me so deep that I lose control!” Itachi answered, finally able to form words through his lust filled brain. “Just please, Naruto!”

Naruto had never heard such sweet words before and he had to comply. Itachi was a magnificent creature and the demon was more than satisfied. He dived deeper and deeper into the delicious heat, determined to make Itachi come first. His hands weren’t idle as they kept toying with pert nipples, rubbing and squeezing until Itachi called out hoarsely that he wanted more.

Tail tightening around his cock to create a warm cavern, Itachi couldn’t help but to shudder his release with a strangled cry. His ass closed in on Naruto’s cock, milking it dry as it exploded deep into him. Itachi was too exhausted to just stand, he fell back against the tall demon and allowed him to cradle his body as he was swept into strong arms after a few moments.

“You did well, Itachi,” Naruto praised as he carried him to a pile of furs, placing the mortal on the soft piles and watching him trying to regain his breath. There was no answer from the human as he fell into a dreamless sleep courtesy of Naruto. The demon knew that the horrors from the maze would arise within the human’s mind and plague him. But Naruto would do his part to help Itachi recover from the experience. What he hadn’t told the human was that most of the survivors had gone mad after the maze and mating with a demon.

There was hope in Naruto that Itachi would be different. He could already see the changes taking place cause by his seed. By the time Itachi would wake, he would no longer be human. He would be a full demon and Naruto knew he would be breathtakingly beautiful. Swiping the bangs from the sweat damp forehead, the demon laid alongside the small body and grinned. Itachi was tucking his body into Naruto’s side and wrapping an arm around his waist.

“Sleep for now, Itachi,” Naruto murmured, kissing the damp forehead. “We have a lot of work ahead of us in the future.”

The breeze was cool as they entered the clearing, Itachi standing next to his mate proudly as they observed those that were gathered in a circle. They were the chosen for this season’s test, only a few had been gathered as those truly worthy had not been found that easily. This was Itachi’s tenth time attending since he had been changed three centuries ago. So when his eyes landed on a man who was similar to him, he easily hid his surprise as he studied the mortal.

The young man was certainly enticing with piercing dark eyes that demanded answers right on the spot, but had kept his mouth shut. Itachi wanted him, plain and simple and he could feel Naruto’s own reaction in the back of his mind. They would claim him if he survived and fought his way through. There was just something about the young man that had demanded Itachi’s attention and he couldn’t wait and see how this would pan out as Naruto’s voice filled the night air much like it had all those centuries ago and so began the tradition as old as time in this new era.
