NOOOOOOO!!!!! ANKO!!!!!! They didn't show her often but I love her character:'( Now I'm sad *sigh*
Anyways, I'm glad you didn't mind my long-winded review. I do that sometimes, just kind of get on a roll and just find it hard to stop. I don't think I'll be doing that today, not feeling very great (I'd say why but it would probably be oversharing;D).
I wonder if Sasuke realized that this would be happening now when he pushed for Naruto to kill him, since it seems that they are doing this because of Sasuke's death. A bit stupid in my opinion, to go through all this trouble for a guy who wanted to die.
I have to say I like Naruto pining for Gaara, it's cute. I hope he'll get to see him again though how that would work out I wonder. I really don't envy them completely though, that's going to be a difficult relationship to keep going. Living in two distant villages, both leaders of said villages, but needed in said villages. Long absences would be difficult, though I do remember reading a story where Gaara and Naruto were together. They both remained leaders but went back and forth between villages, on one month and the other the next and while they were gong the had someone act in the absence. I don't know how realistic that would be though. And then of course, there is the option of one giving up the position of leadership but which one? Complicated, but I can't wait to see how they work it out.
I liked the interaction with Neji, of course:D I love Neji, he's actually the wallpaper on my computer. He's so awesome, I don't know why some people don't like him. Anyways, I know it might just be genuine suspicion but somehow Neji's reactions of Gaara's pursuit of Naruto makes me wonder if he isn't harboring some feelings of his own. That would definitely be interesting:D
Anyways, I guess I did manage a relatively long review:D Go Me!! Anyways again (you'll notice that's my favorite word) I can't wait until your next update to see more. Maybe we'll get to see Gaara again, YAY (he's my other favorite and as soon as I find an awesome picture of him like I have of Neji he's going on my laptop). Now I just need a third computer to put Itachi on.

Yeah, we know you are mean!! J/p/ But seriously, a wise way to go about it if you weren't sure about our couple's err..designated positons. Anyway, i liked the chapter. Naruto is unsure of what to think about it all, and considerng his previous train of thoughts it makes perfect sense. Thumbs up. Update soon!

I'm always happy to find a non-SasuNaru story (though I guess that's not completely true in this case since there was a little bit near the beginning and slightly scattered throughout). I especially love GaaNaru. I know a lot of people love SasuNaru because they say it's the most likely couple, but personally I think GaaNaru is just as likely, if not more so, because of the connection they have. Look at the chapter of the story when Gaara got captured by the Akatsuki. Assuming that there were no meetings between them in the two/three year gap, Naruto hadn't seen him since the chuunin exam/Sasuke retrieval mission. I think the fact that he was so passionate about saving Gaara says a lot. I like SasuNaru also, but I think it's just likely and possible that they could just be very good friends/like brothers as they could be lovers. But yea, enough of that.
I wanted to address you A/N at the end of the chapter. I'm guessing that you were saying you ended the last chapter because you hadn't decided on the seme/uke issue, but it seems like Naruto was uke, at least in this case, because you mentioned a sore backside. But maybe I was reading too much into that. But personally, I would prefer to see it go both ways than for Naruto to be complete seme. There's been a personality shift in him in your story, but it just doesn't fit for me to see him as a seme. I think he's more an uke or an equal, especially with Gaara. I know Gaara has his issues, but I don't see him as being so... ______ (I can't think of the word but hopefully you get my meaning) that he can't bottom for someone. I actually see that being more Sasuke's thing which is why NaruSasu is just the weirdest thing to me, Sasuke just isn't realistic as an uke. I barely even see him sharing an equal position. Gaara doesn't strike me as being that hung up so and equal relationship seems very likely/possible in their case. Though of course, I do lean more towards Naruto being a bottom:)

Reading between History chapters.....its...its a good study thing..yeah...relives the..uhh...mind? *Cough* Continue on and what ever you decide on the uke/seme is fine with me...though...Garaa is very dominate...>_>...he dosn't seem like anything else...but...up to you neh? Funny how writing works...if it was hard for you, you sure as hell gave no indication of it in the ending result! That was an awesome start. FINALLY. Anyway, it was worth it, and you left us hanging! Personally, i wouldn't mind Gaara being seme or uke, cuz out of Gaara's inexperience i could see Naruto letting him do one or the other. So whatever anyone else says is fine by me i guess. Just tally up the votes and whoever has more votes well you know the deal. Or...if you wanna be REALLY nice you could have them take turns! Just a thought. Anyway tight work, update soon!
