I love your story!!! It is so captivating and the way you wrote all the characters is so apt. I waited with bated breath for an update :) When is the update? All your numerous fans are probably beside themselves with anticipation... I know I am!!! Its been over 3 months :-( So hopefully when you update you'll put up several chapters!!! Anyways, don't give up on this story or at least put up an author's note if you're discontinuing it.

I hope you’re not having writer’s block at this point within the story!! That’d really bite I would think for everyone, even yourself if the writer’s block issue is true. Well, I’m still here to support you, as well as wishing you the best of luck with getting chapter 17 all ready and assembled to be released out into the public (aka your die-hard fans)! hey! Are you still there?! Sorry to bother you but this story is too great to just stop like that! Come on we need an update now! or at least an author's note to know that you're still working on it!
You said reviews motivate you to write more, right? so here it is!
First, next chapter should be from sasuke's POT i think... Naruto really picked his curiosity. He feels like he doesn't know him anymore so he is kinda vulnerable now. 'Love is a funny thing indeed' Naruto has opened a gap in his mental defense. Sasuke was always the one to initiate, the one who wanted to take it one step ahead and naruto refused/distrusted him. If naruto really plans to give him the night of his life just like that, out of the blue, he is bound to be confused... especially after the night before he left for suna.
Second, the blond wants to indulge in his feelings for sasuke, just for this night, as a final goodbye,right? so it should be intense and sad (for naruto) but really SWEET. Naruto has the control here. Not Sasuke. The blond, though he doesn't realise it, hold sasuke's heart in his hand and he is about to squeeze. It's a time bomb waiting to explose? really. But Sasuke just wants to believe he owns Naruto and can bend him to his will. He craves for attention from Naruto; if he suspects naruto is up to something he really doesn't want to think about that now. This new side of naruto should really mesmerize him to the point he doesn't want to even envisage the possibility of naruto leaving him. He doesn't realise the real power naruto has over him, he doesn't realise naruto's powers alltogether. This new side of hunter nin naruto should leave him breathless, but broken and confused too... especially if he realises he cannot force naruto into this relationship anymore. I believe that's what you intended, right?
Finally, Naruto doesn't want revenge anymore but he doesn't understand the depth of sasuke's feelings either. Like some other author said 'Naruto doesn't FUCK, Naruto can only MAKE LOVE'... Maybe, just maybe, if he can make Sasuke feel the difference, he will just fall in love all over again. Not possessiveness, but love. Sasuke should be able to FEEL all the hurt and the doubts naruto has because of his relations with others. He already knows naruto doesn't understand but he is not one to explain himself or his actions to others. ... hn, so complicated!
Understandings and misunderstandings are the heart of this story, right?
I really have a twisted mind, i know!lol I think i don't make any sense but it's all your fault, i really need to see next chapter! it's driving me nuts! ;p

I don't really know what you've planed with Ino in Suna, but i'm sure new misunderstandings will arise between naruto and sasuke. For exemple, what if naruto and ino had a relationship before he left to fetch sasuke? what if she fled to suna to give birth to his child? i know! too farfetched! but i can just picture sasuke's face in my mind at that news... hehehe revenge on sasuke, yeah!!!

That was stupendous. Sasuke sipping tea through that was perfect black humor. I adored Naruto's line of promising to bring Sasuke home. Got me teary. This next chapter is going to be intense - emotionally and physically. I can sense it...
