Oh, oh, oh. I forgot--Shikamaru licking his lips while he was walking by their little public display of affection...very hot! I like Shikamaru he reminds me of Kakashi (lazy genius).

Forgot to mention in my previous review that I was glad you brough Shika into the story. Hopefully we will get to see more of him in the future - he certainly seemed to like what he was seeing. Thanks again for a great story.

I was pretty positive that Kakashi had some sort of plan with Ibiki (hope it actually backfires on Kakashi in some way).

Oh, Kakashi, you manipulative bastard...^_^ Love it. Izumo really was the perfect choice, wasn't he? But I'm thinking maybe Kakashi hadn't counted on his sweetness... Yay for Ibiki showing up at just the right/wrong moment!

Kakashi's plan intrigues me. There are a lot of ways it could go wrong... and it seems like it is already. I'm sensing that it might just backfire on him, or complicate what it was supposed to simplify. It might also teach him more about himself and his feelings, which would be good, him being the mixed-up guy that he is.^_^

Oh... public sexin... *drool* I loved Izumo and Iruka sneakily groping each other down the street. And then making out with Kakashi watching... the interaction between Kakashi and Izumo was very well done, the way their voyeuristic/exhibitionist tendencies complimented each other, and the way Kakashi *knew* they would. ^_^ And - oral in public - very, very hot. I want a sexy little 'Zumo of my very own!

Hmm... I'm wondering just how far they're going to go before they get somewhere a little more private. Also wondering just how far they're going to go, period. And how will Ibiki's arrival change the game, I wonder? This is great, Shikyaku! <333 I'm really looking forward to seeing how this will all work out in the end!

Wow, I just want to kick Kakashi's ass right now. How could he get Iruka drunk (because I know that was phase one of his plan) and lead him into all this? What does he plan to say when Iruka's sober: "You can't get to upset about this anymore, look what you were willing to do last night."? I almost hated Ibiki until he showed up there at the end. *Sigh* You said at the end of Conversations that this story would b angsty but so for it hasn't been. Does that mean we'll be getting a very sad ending?

excellent, fabulous, and terrifyingly true-to-life. it seems iruka was totally set up, but for good or bad? izumo's inner monologue had me laughing and squirming because it's really amazing what you can justify to yourself at the right moment. can't wait to read more *mwahahaha*

I love it. The POV is really good, not ot mention the fact that the sotry just makes me giggle. The whole awkwardness of it makes me smile, and I love how Iruka fights his exclusivity and wants to find another way to make himself happy. I think that Kakashi doesn't mean to make him miserable. I think that Kakashi-bastard just is so fucked up in his own mind, he can't see Iruka's pain.

Anyway, great job... I like how you made Ibiki reluctant and aloof.

A wonderful demonstration of Ibiki's specialty. A new perspective for Iruka to consider, but I love that you have not let it be that simple a matter. Now with Kakashi's grand entrance, I can't wait to find out what happens next.

SHIKYAKU. I'm never going to believe you again. Boring? Never! I love drunk-thinking Izumo and Iruka, arousing secrets, 'platonic' kisses, knowing that you shouldn't but DOING IT ANYWAY, all the things that it's okay for two pretty, pretty chuunin who are good friends to do to each other in the middle of the street(!), hands that just won't behave....

Ibiki is so very Ibiki in this. ^_^ And I'm just going to imagine that Ibiki and Anko are up in his apartment getting it AWN.

You know what else I love? The way you contrasted Kotetsu and Izumo's relationship with Kakashi and Iruka's, the way that Izumo didn't try to make Iruka feel bad that they were different ('We're all wired differently'), the fact that Iruka doesn't have any apparent bad feelings for Sasuke - in fact, I think I'm picking up some concern there, eh?, the fact that... okay, I'm not going to type it, because I know people sometimes look at reviews first.

Say what you want to say, but... I'm hooked on this story. Love it!
