I love shy!Iruka. Although I have read some good fanfic where Iruka was seme and handling Kakashi like he was a blushing, plaid skirt-wearing schoolgirl. Man! That's the stuff.

And a little bit edgy. With your description of Iruka's discomfort at this new activity, it made their consummation less of a sure thing even as their contact got more and more intimate. That made it more interesting (not that it wouldn't have been riveting for a yaoi fan anyway!).
I liked Kakashi's confidence and expertise - understated just enough to be believable.
I'm curious to see where they go from here and if there are any problems on the morning after.
