Poor Sasuke... even though cheating on your boyfriend is terrible, he absolutely doesn't deserve this. Why are Sakura and Kakashi trying to keep Naruto in the proverbial dark about Sasuke anyway? It's cruel and selfish of them.

I didn't see that one coming. Sakura and Naruto? Poor kid had to up a loose his parents on top of everything. Usually ignorance is bliss, but in his case, it seems to only be partially so if he still manages to be so numb.

Glad you're continuing this. :) I'm a little confused over the current timeline. From what I understand, Sasuke saw Naruto at the concert and resolved to talk to him & get their relationship back in some form. Now he's been taken back to Konoha from Suna? Did Sasuke change his mind on talking to Naruto after the concert? Sasuke only plans to be in Konoha temporarily, right? (Depending on how long Neji wants to stay with Hinata.) It seems to me like he can't remain in Konoha permanently since he works in Suna, which it sounds like is 4 hours away? If that's the case, then why did Sakura also make the trip in the middle of the workday? (Surely her lunch with Naruto could have been pushed back later to a more convenient time.)
I think Kakashi and Sakura's panic over Sasuke is a bit premature. They can't know if either guy wants to make contact with the other, and Naruto doesn't seem to have much memory of Sasuke. So why, after 10 years, would Sasuke suddenly be a threat?
I'm also curious what happened after Naruto's accident that Sasuke would've had no clue he was blind. Did Sasuke drop him off at the hospital and then resolve never to see him again? That doesn't seem like something he would have done. But even if Kakashi & co. decided to bar Sasuke from the hospital after hearing why Naruto ran out into that street that night, I'd think *somebody* would've eventually told Sasuke what happened to Naruto, just because Sasuke would've been concerned about Naruto's recovery, right? (Seems to me it would make more sense if Naruto's eyesight problems occurred later on.)
And I'm still curious from Sasuke's perspective, why things got as bad as they did after the two guys moved in together. How did Sasuke get so wrapped up in his job that he neglected Naruto like that? And what caused him to sleep with someone else when he was previously very big on monogamy? Maybe when they start talking again, we can finally hear Sasuke's explanation. It seems to me that no situation is black and white, that Sasuke may have made the biggest mistake in cheating on Naruto, but Naruto had to have contributed in some way to the deterioration of their past relationship.

Great chapter. Poor Naruto!!! I'm excited, but also kind of dreading Naruto's and Sasuke's reunion, I hope it's not too heartbreaking.

When I first read the summary of this story, I thought Naturo somehow lost his memory. well, it might be the same to Sasuke. Being blind, Naturo's sense of smell should have developed more and yet he didn't recognize Sasuke's scent. I didn't feel bad for Sasuke, not at all. Plus, he's not in Naturo's life for so many years after all. What did he expect?

I hope there is a good reason for Naturo and Sasuke to get back together. I believe in forgiving but forgiving doesn't mean forgetting. I don't buy that one should get back to their ex because "they belonged together", that's just crap and so forced. If Naturo really takes Sasuke back, I hope it's more than that he still loved Sasuke or I will find it hardly convincing.
