Dark Temptations
Prologue
Was there a world beyond this place? Was there someone who didn’t hurt children? Would dying result in the opportunity to be free? Who would care if she died?
Was there even a God?
A small girl curled up into a ball, silently contemplating her questions. She didn’t dare ask out loud, nor did she dare to speak. Instead, she endured whatever came her way in silence. When they came, when they hurt her, she’d scream. They liked her screams, it made them feel higher than anything else. It didn’t matter that they could beat her or even touch and rape her, they still liked the high that came from her screams.
No, she couldn’t give them the satisfaction anymore. She had to runaway from this place. She could do it, she knew she could! Nobody would notice she was missing unless one of those bad men wanted her and they attempted to find her.
As she slipped out of her “bedroom” door, she froze when a familiar pale hand grabbed her wrist. “Going somewhere?” a cruel voice full of promises of unspeakable things questioned.
Oh, no! It was Orochimaru! If he found out what she was about to attempt, he’d kill her for sure! He didn’t like his playthings attempting to runaway! Please, if there was a god listening to her, if there was even a god in this terrible place, don’t let him find out what she was planning on doing! Don’t let him find out!
As if she weren’t going to do anything, the little girl shook her head and looked up at him with adoring eyes that made her want to throw up. If she kept looking at everybody with those eyes, she’d survive. No one was here that she truly adored, those people had been used as experiments and killed but they made her promise that she’d attempt to escape so she could live a true life. Not living in a place where she’d be forced to open her legs for people who didn’t want her to begin with.
“Good girl. Come now, I want to try a new game with you.”
Her body ignored her mind’s protests as she followed the snake-nin, trying desperately to keep from crying. She knew she had been caught and gave Orochimaru the perfect excuse to try a new “game” with her.
If only somebody would come and help her now.
Fallenangelz: Right, this is gonna be my first chapter fic on this site. I've got plenty of ideas for this story but feel free to make a suggestion if you want. I'm not sure how long the story will be just yet but I'll figure it out after a while. Anyway, read and review, flames are accepted!
