Shinobi Can Be So Dense

Okay I was going to make this a one-shot but I felt it was much better Included as the last chapter of Shinobi Can Be So Dense. It's just a short something I came up with one night after I wrote the rest of the story. I didn't have much time so it is a bit short I may one day go back and make it longer but not right now.

I am working on the sequel to Shinobi Can Be So Dense. I have three chapters written and am planing on there being five on six. The sequel will be in the general section since it will have other couples in there as well. I had fum dedicating myself to at least one full Kakairu story though. There will still be Kakairu in the sequel . I just have to give some love to the other sexy boys as well.

Thank you Ryu Earth. You have praised me and given me helpful hints throughout the entire life of this story. It makes me happy since I initially was afraid to even post it. Your comments keep me going.

I'm tired from blood loss (accident at work that sliced two of my fingers open) so on with the story.


Kakashi Hatake was ambling down the streets of Konaha. Word had gotten out that he and Iruka Umino were dating. All thanks to Naruto who didn't know he should knock before he entered someones bedroom. Naruto had seen them in the throws of passion. Iruka had warned him the blond would blab about them unintentionally. At least Iruka failed to notice Naruto till they had both gotten off. That had been a blessing. He now feared he scarred the poor boy by finishing Iruka off.

Now the village was filled with gossip. The hot topic was his relationship with Iruka. Kakashi naturally tried to avoid contact with people as much as possible. That's why he started reading porn in public. People were not inclined to talk to someone who openly read porn in public. Which is why Kakashi was not happy. The villagers were now openly staring at him.

Kakashi was passing the Yamanaka flower shop. As soon as he came into view in front of the door he heard several girls voices, both were very familiar. They broke into a fit of giggles when he made to walk pass them. Kakashi did not like being the subject of this gossip. He did what he only deemed fit to do in this situation. He pulled out his Icha Icha. Better they gossip and he can pretend it is about his porn reading habits.

He was so busy reading and pretending not to care about the village gossip he did not see who was in front of him at first. He nearly walked right into the senbon wielding special Jounin. He let out and irritated grunt. This was not his day. Now he had to deal with Genma who had slept with both him and Iruka.

“Kakashi may I have a word with you.”

Genma looked Kakashi over with an angry glare. Kakashi reciprocated with his usual bored demeanor. He so did not want to hear about what Genma had to say to him right now. Politeness that was so ingrained into his being took hold and replied for him though.

“Sure thing Genma.”

Kakashi slipped his book back into his pocket and crossed his arms in front of him, hunched over in his customary slouch.

“I heard you happen to be the one sexing up Iruka. I just wanna make it clear that you better not fuck this up Hatake. He was the best lay of my life and I will not have you break his heart or I will turn you into my own personal pin cushion.”

Genma continued his fearsome glare which did little to stir the Jounin in front of him. Kakashi sighed this is so not how he wanted to spend the day.

“Genma in case you don't know Iruka and I are in love. We are not just screwing around. I even let him set the pace of our relationship when we started dating. Genma I will not intentionally hurt Iruka or tell him you said he was the best lay of your life. I think he has gotten enough revenge on you for now.”

Genma took a deep breath and gulped. He knew to fear Iruka's wrath.

“Thanks for not telling him. I know you'll keep your promise to not hurt him. Now I'm going to go grill Iruka on you.”

Genma took off to the rooftops with a chakra enhanced leap. Kakashi shook his head in amusement and pulled out his book again and continued with his walk.

'I wonder what he's going to say to Iruka? I know it won't be anything like what he said to me. It is funny that he thinks me enough of a friend to grill Iruka in my behalf. '

Kakashi walked for a while and found himself nearing the village gates.

“Hey Kakashi may have a few words with you, please?” A voice called out to him.

Kakashi looked up from the pages of his infamous book to see the ones who called out for him were Izumo and Kotetsu. Kakashi recalled that Iruka had told him they were his former teammates.

'This is going to be a bother.'

Kakashi pocketed his book and slowly strode over to the two chunin. Kakashi knew today was going to be annoying but at least Iruka was coming over to his place tonight.

“Yo.”

The two chunin looked at each other and Izumo nodded his head to Kotetsu.

“We heard from a reliable source that your dating our former teammate.” Kotetsu said.

“We both wanna make sure your intentions with him are honorable.”Izumo said

“And if we find out you ever hurt him in any way we 'll hunt you down and beat you into a bloody pulp.” Kotetsu finished.

Kakashi sighed as he thought. 'Why are Iruka's friends so nuts?'

“I love Iruka. I will not ever intentionally hurt him. I'm more afraid he'll get bored and leave me. Iruka is moving in with me. He asked that if I saw you two to ask if you'll help him move his stuff into mine.”

They looked at each other smiling. Each quietly confirming what they heard with the other.

“Sure thing Kakashi. Just have Iruka tell us when he wants us to and we'll be there.” Kotetsu smiled at him.

“You've got someone very special there Kakashi. Please don't mess it up.” Izumo said flatly.

Kakashi waved farewell to the duo and took his book out of his pocket and resumed his walk. He heard giggling and whispers from the civilians as he walked but did not let it distract him. I hand appeared in his vision. Kakashi stopped and looked up into the scared face of Raidou.

“Kakashi don't fuck this up with Iruka. He's to well loved.” Raidou left just as fast as he appeared.

Kakashi was a bit stunned but did not let his face betray that fact. At least Raidou didn't question his intentions towards Iruka. He always had been a good guy. Kakashi pulled his book back up to his face and continued his walk again. His thought drifted to his beautiful chunin. He couldn't wait for him to be done with work so they could spend time together away from all the gossips.

Kakashi had been walking for about an hour now. He still had to wait another four. Kakashi walked past the barbeque restaurant. He was stopped out front by the new Shika-Ino-Cho trio. They really did grow into a formidable team reviling their parent's old team even.

“I know this is troublesome, but we want to make sure you are not going to hurt Iruka sensei.”Shikamaru slouched against the wall.

“I know we always caused him nothing but trouble for him when we were in his class but he never gave up on us. He always encouraged us to do better and would still let me eat during class. We still wanna make sure your not going to hurt him.” Chouji took out a bag of chips and began eating them.

“Iruka sensei is the nicest person in all of Konaha. We just wanna make sure he is going to stay happy.” Ino gave Kakashi an evil smirk that some women just happen to posses.

Kakashi studied the three chunin in front of him. Iruka's students sure did love him.

“You don't need to worry about Iruka. I will not hurt him. We are in love and all I want to do is make him happy.”

Ino squealed in delight and pulled her teammates back inside the restaurant. Kakashi took off with a burst of speed not wanting to be around there any more. Ino always did creep him out. He took to the roof tops to try and avoid more of Iruka's former students and friends.

'I wonder if I can get to the sushi place without anyone else bothering me. I'm getting hungry.' Three figures appeared behind him and were following him.

'Not again!' Kakashi stopped slumped over and prepared to meet his fate. In front of him was team Kureni.

“Yo.” Kakashi tried not to look too frustrated.

“Kakashi sensei we just want you to know if you hurt Iruka sensei we will make you pay.” Hinata turned bright pink as her boyfriend Kiba spoke. Shino was as unemotional as always.

'Trust the damn Inuzuka brat to be just as brash as his mother.' Kakashi let out an exasperated sigh once again.

“I wouldn't hurt the one I love. Believe me when I tell you this Iruka means more to me than you'll ever know.” They nodded in understanding and left.

'At least that was most of the rookie nine. Thank Kami team Guy is still on that retrieval mission in wave country. I don't think I could deal with Guy an his mini me right now. Damn my team will be after me next probably. Naruto still hasn't laid into me for being with his beloved Iruka sensei.'

Kakashi made it to the sushi restaurant and was able to eat his lunch in peace. Kakashi left intent on finishing his walk. Kakashi followed the well worn trail that led to the top of the Hokage Monument. He went to sit on his sensei's head. Kakashi told his sensei about what had happened. This day had been very annoying and draining. Kakashi laid down to take a nap. Some time later he awoke when he felt three people surrounding him.

“Hello Sakara, Sasuke, and Naruto.”

'Naruto looks more like Sasuke than his normal self. This can't be good.'

“Kakashi sensei you know why we're here right?” Sakara said clenching her fist by her side.

Kakashi decided to have a little fun with his team. “ You wanted to throw me a surprise party and needed to know when it would be best to do so with my schedule?”

“No. We want to make it plainly clear that if you so much as hurt Iruka sensei even once you will have to deal with us.” Sakara punched a tree to make her point. Sasuke and Naruto were being too quite even for them.

“I won't do anything to hurt Iruka intentionally. Believe it or not I really do love him completely and I only want to make him happy.”

Sakara smiled, Sasuke said his usual noncommittal grunt. Naruto had his head down and was very quite which was very unlike him. The other two walked away happy with his response. Naruto stayed behind.

After a few tense moments Naruto lifted his head and looked Kakashi right in the eye. They were not Naruto's usual blue pools. No Naruto's eyes flashed red with the power of the Kyubi. Naruto grabbed hold of the front of Kakashi vest and lifted him into the air.

“You better mean what you said or I'll rip your limbs from your body and make sure you suffer a fate worse than death if you hurt Iruka sensei.” Naruto threw Kakashi to the ground and stormed off.

'Damn I was not expecting that type of reaction from Naruto. I thought he would just scream at me and call me a pervert. He must not think that highly of me. My day can't get any worse. I should probably go home now.' Kakashi sighed as he dusted off his clothes and made his way down the trail.

He was a block away from his apartment when he was surrounded by clones of Anko. The clones pushed the struggling Jounin into a dark alley. While the clones pinned him to a wall they real Anko came out brandishing a kunai in her hand. She placed it at Kakashi's throat.

“Kakashi your treading on hallow ground now. I know what it's like to hurt Iruka. I don't want to see that happen ever again. He was a wreak when I hurt him. I still don't know what ever possessed him to ever forgive me for what I did to him. He is like my little brother now and I won't let another person hurt him. GOT IT! Now be a good boy and don't break his heart. I don't think he could handle it.” She let him go.

“I know Anko he told me everything even what happened the night you left him. That is probably why he forgave you so easily. He was ashamed of himself. I want to get this straight with you. I LOVE HIM. I love him with every fiber of my being. I will do my very best to make sure he is never sad another day in his life. He is my soul mate and anything that hurts him hurts me too.
I don't like being hurt so I'll destroy anyone who hurts him. You understand me.” Anko smirked.

“Now that's what I wanted to hear. I hope you two will be very happy together.” Anko disappeared in a swirl of leaves.

'This really has been a very bad day.' Kakashi hurried to his apartment. When he entered he locked door and every window. He had enough of people tearing into him. He fell onto the couch in defeat. He fell asleep before he knew it.

Kakashi awoke when he heard the sound of keys opening the locked door. He sat up on the couch as Iruka opened the door. He took off his sandals and made his way over to Kakashi with a smile on his face.

“So how was your day Kashi love?” Kakashi looked at the man he loved like he had three heads and just asked him to join him in battling a naked Guy in a vat of chocolate pudding.

“Your friends and former students are all crazy, especially Anko!” Kakashi fell back onto the couch and closed his eyes. He was glad Iruka was there to save him if anyone else came to 'talk' with him again that day.
