Chapter 11
“He asked me out.” Naruto talk Gaara as they sat by the trees in the school yard.
Gaara finished chewing his sandwich before looking up at his friend. “And…” He raised a non-existent eyebrow waiting for the other to finish.
“And I told him I’d think about it.” Naruto stared into his empty cup of ramen, afraid to look as his friend and see his reaction.
“Kyu, look at me.” The blond slowly lifted his head as he looked at his friend. “I know how much he hurt you but I also know how much you still care for him.” Naruto nodded smiling sadly. “Talk to Itachi if you want. After everything he still knows his brother the best.”
“What?”
“He may be able to help you. You’re clearly torn, who knows; maybe he’ll be able to help you figure it out whatever is bugging you.” Gaara finished his sandwich. Then leaned against the tree watching as his friend had a battle within himself, before taking out his phone. He closed his eyes and waited for the bell to ring.
Naruto dialed Itachi’s number and waited for the raven to answer.
“And what do I owe for our yummy Kyu calling me.” Itachi purred.
“Tachi, he asked me out.”
“Ah.” He heard some rustling in the background. “What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know. He hurt my badly. Also if he finds out about that…” Naruto trailed off. “It just seems weird that after all this time, he’s now the one asking me out.”
Itachi spoke slowly, “And you don’t know if you should trust him.”
“Right.” The blond nodded before remembering that the raven couldn’t see him.
“Did he admit he was an idiot?”
“Yea…”
“Did he apologize?”
“…Yes.”
“He’s serious.” Itachi stated firmly.
“How… Just because…”
“Trust me Naruto, I know the kid. Not even a broken arm would make him admit he was wrong or apologize for doing something he shouldn’t have.”
“How does a broken arm-”
“Never mind.” The raven sighed into the phone. “Just think about it. He came to me looking for help on how to fix his mistake.” The blonds mouth dropped open. “He’ll make you happy. It sounds like he is truly sorry for what he had done and really does care about you.” Itachi said tenderly before chuckling. “The guy is already very possessive of you. Just seeing you hug another guy causes the green eyed monster to rear its ugly head.”
“I doubt I could date him if he was that jealous.” The blond frowned.
“I think its just cause others can do what he can’t.”
‘Well that kind of makes sense.’ Naruto thought as he scratched his cheek.
“Just think about it. Listen to your heart Naru-chan. It’s the only one that can give you the answers that you need right now.
“Alright thanks Tachi.”
“No problem Kyu.” Naruto closed his phone, leaned his head back against the tree across from Gaara as he looked up towards the leaves.
A/N: So there we have it. Sorry that it isn’t much of a chapter but whatever. Also couldn't think of a name for it lol.

Sneakyfoy, don’t know if I put this at the end of the last chapter so sorry if it seems as though I’m repeating. Sasukes rejection wasn’t the cause though it does kind of seem like that, it was really just bad timing.
I just noticed that I actually have to do a little research for my story so I’m really sorry if the next chapter isn’t up within the week. But once I get the name for what I’m looking for I’ll continue to keep doing atleast a weekly update. Any whoo..hope you like it and reviews are always welcome.
