Chapter 11
Chapter 11
ƒ·
ƒoƒoƒo
Hinata harrumphed as he pulled her to him. She tried to ignore what Kiba was doing but she couldn¡¦t. Instead, she relaxed. Kiba¡¦s big hands wandered over her bare skin, thoroughly possessive, and confidently male. He felt her up. Each hand held, and then jiggled, one after the other, the soft weight of each of her breasts before strumming across her nipples with warm, rough thumbs making them tighten harder than the cold, misting, early morning air ever could. Goose bumps popped out all over her, from the water spraying in through the half-open balcony door yet Kiba¡¦s hands remained soothing and very connective. She sighed. He knew her to well. He knew unerringly every square millimeter of her body and how responsive she was to his touch. Her resolve crumbled. Under her open lime green robe, he massaged her upper back before letting his hands slide down to circle and clasp her waist. Reflexively she tightened her arms around his neck and rested her nose at the base of his throat. She sniffed at him. Strange as it was, it was becoming increasingly weird when she didn¡¦t smell herself and Shino on him. Right now he smelled cleanly masculine. He held all of her weight as he leaned backwards against the wall, eyes on the open balcony door not more than a foot away from them. A thick thumb teased at her navel even as his long fingers caressed her definite baby bump. She was an inny and Kiba always loved to play with, and tickle her navel especially with his tongue. Right now, it wasn¡¦t to arouse her, they were both far too emotionally and physically drained for that. He sought to comfort himself and to calm her ire. He hated her being angry at him. He spoke.
¡§I didn¡¦t tell you because I didn¡¦t believe it. Not during the day at least, but I guess my subconscious had other thoughts when I slept.¡¨
Kiba closed his eyes in frustration before gently kissing the top of Hinata¡¦s head; his speech became uncertain and halting.
¡§This is not talked about openly in my clan. It is a secret. It is something that can be used against us if known. Please baby, understand. It¡Kit¡K frightens us. I think it is the reason why my clan leadership is you know¡K matriarchal. The female seems to handle ¡K bounce back from¡K these uncontrolled emotions¡K rejection¡K heartbreak¡Kbetter. After puberty, celibacy is really unknown to Inuzukas. Given our natures, arranged marriages don¡¦t work for us. Commitment is there only when we have mated with, marked and finally sealed our chosen mates. If the ones we choose and we have mated with continually refuse to be marked or sealed, or we are forcibly kept from marking and sealing them ¡K that can be¡Kumm¡K very hard to swallow. It makes us ape-shit crazy.¡¨
Kiba opened his eyes again and let them rest on the open balcony door. Shino stood outside like a ghost. He was a fleeting, narrow figure in the misting rain, white hands grasping the wet railing, staring out into the darkness. Kiba continued in a rush of croaking words as if he were a fountain spouting them out into the air.
¡§You can¡¦t understand. Everyone¡K everyone wants Hyuugas. No one ever turns your clan down. But Shino understands. He gets it. Things happened to fast: the Kazekage, the threat of our public humiliation by the Hyuugas after we politely asked for you, yours and Shino¡¦s marriage behind my back, this seclusion, you almost instantly being pregnant with his child, and my Mom dementedly demanding for me to pick another mate when I couldn¡¦t breathe without, much less forget, you.
I believed your love for me. I¡¦ve experienced it daily during the last three months but I guess a deeper, purer part of my psyche, didn¡¦t believe it was real with either of you, not until tonight. I couldn¡¦t speak about my nightmares, or my insecurities, not at least until I knew whether you would accept my mark. And I desperately wanted you, both of you, to accept my mark because you loved me and wanted to be mine, not because you thought I¡¦d go insane without it. I just¡KI snapped when the storm told me I couldn¡¦t have either of you. That despite bearing my mark neither of you were really mine. That it would take you both from me. I, I apologize for the transformation¡Kfor frightening you. Please Baby, understand and ¡Kforgive.¡¨
Hinata sighed yet again. She hadn¡¦t heard this desperate, pleading quality in Kiba¡¦s voice since that night¡K the night she ran into his apartment over two years ago and found¡KHer heart spasmed. She in fact understood all too well although it would be uncharitable to point that out now. After all, she had only been rejected by Naruto as well as her own clan. She was the lone, defective Hyuuga that understood all about personal and clan rejection. But still she was angry. Kiba had acted like a knuckle-head. They had risked everything for him with days and nights of open loving between them and he couldn¡¦t speak about his nightmares? He was willing to risk his sanity instead? What if they had lost him? She balled up one fist and hit him squarely in the upper arm. His body absorbed the blow but it was his shocked intake of breath that made her finally relent.
¡§Alright Kiba-k-k-kun, I-I understand, and I f-f-forgive.¡¨
¡§Thank you my beloved Hina-chan.¡¨ Kiba murmured contritely into the thick, perfumed, shiny, blue-black hair of the woman he so loved. With relief, he trailed his lips down to her ear and then to her neck to blow lightly on her smooth, red seal. The resulting moan as they both felt the binding link between them was absolutely heady. The seal itself was a delicate spiral of floating fangs that lay atop where his ragged bite mark had once been. Deliriously happy even in his bone deep weariness, he let his hands slip further down her nude body to grasp her beautiful, curvy ass under her silken robe, and pull her closer to his towel covered groin. He heard her sudden gasp of pain and smiled devilishly, his lips pressed against her sealed flesh, the seal that was his private mark letting the world know that she was his forever. It could never be removed.
¡§It¡¦s a good pain isn¡¦t it?¡¨ He rasped.
Hinata hid her flush. Not trusting her voice, she nodded her affirmative answer. Kiba continued, as he nuzzled her seal, rejoicing in and feeling their connection. The intoxicating smells of her pheromones struck his nose. He gloried in them. The female body was wondrously made; it was so orgasmic. Feeling her acute pleasure through the link, even as her righteous anger faded, was everything to him. He murmured.
¡§I can¡¦t wait to watch my sweetheart take you again, right here.¡¨
Kiba¡¦s wonderful hands rubbed against her cheeks before gently grasping and spreading them slightly open, forcing her stretched anus to spasm in detailed memory. And this time she had a real aftershock. Unable to hold it in any longer she groaned out passionately, ¡§S-S-Shino!¡¨
Kiba chuckled, before pulling back and looking directly into her eyes.
¡§Hell yeah you like it. Damn! You are so hot. You¡¦d turn an inanimate stone on. Lovely hime, you know our silent bug freak has lost his ever-loving mind over you? You had him so riled up that he fucked both of us senseless all night. Yumm, I think I see a lot of Hinata sandwiches in our immediate future.¡¨
Hinata giggled uncontrollably although her face was burning up like a piece of raw, sizzling meat on a grill. Shino wasn¡¦t the only one who had lost his mind. However, right now Kiba was being silly. She couldn¡¦t even walk or stand up by herself and Kiba looked as if any minute he would slide down the wall that he was holding up, taking her with him, and yet he was talking about future Hinata sandwiches? He was absolutely oversexed, but she knew she couldn¡¦t have him any other way.
She returned the joy in Kiba¡¦s smiling eyes as he looked at her. Then he turned his face back to the open balcony door. She craned her neck to face it too, her head at his shoulder. It was still raining steadily if lightly. The strange storm seemed to have passed them by for good. Although it was pitch black outside she heard an early cock crow in the distance. It would be dawn all too soon.
¡§He l-loves you.¡¨
Kiba¡¦s smile grew slowly reflective but he answered. ¡§I know. He carries my mating seal...babe, you¡¦re looking at one incredibly proud and committed uke.¡¨
Hinata twisted her lips for a moment. She studied Kiba as he stared at Shino. Then she stared at Shino herself before quietly adding.
¡§I d-d-don¡¦t like him out th-there either. H-H-He¡¦s getting wet. I¡¦m afraid he might get sick, b-b-but I-I know it is d-different for him.¡¨
Kiba sighed and gazed back down at Hinata to listen. He reluctantly released her plump ass and caught the edges of her billowing robe to securely close it. She was pregnant. The cold air was too wet and her tone was too serious. Once he securely closed her robe and she was leaning on his chest again, he wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a response. He smirked.
¡§Yeah. Guys don¡¦t mark and seal other guys. He¡¦s really going to get mocked.¡¨
Hinata struggled to keep her stuttering to a minimum.
¡§It is more th-than that. All his life Shino-k-koi has expected that he¡¦d be the clan leader some day. He is the heir; and as the heir he s-s-should be the head of this powerful, aristocratic c-c-clan. Given their strict rules on nanshoku, your sealing him g-g-guarantees that his f-f-fitness for leadership will be called into question and openly challenged within the Aburame almost immediately. S-S-Shibi-sama is giving his blessing on our trey, that is true, but S-S-Shino will still have to fight and f-f-fight hard to k-keep his birthright.¡¨
Kiba tried to swallow around the lump that suddenly grew in his throat.
¡§What? I¡K I didn¡¦t know. I never thought¡KHe didn¡¦t ¡KI¡¦ve never received heir training, no male in my clan has.¡¨
¡§Hush! He knows th-that. I know th-that. But we obviously th-thought it was more important that you b-b-be secure in our love. We are yours and th-that will never change. I-I have had an overabundance of heir training. P-P-Perhaps I-I can help as well as be Shino-k-koi¡¦s eyes within his c-clan.¡¨
Kiba lifted an arm to run an agitated hand through his hair.
¡§Hinata¡Khoney, I will do anything to stand by him and to give him support but you are going to have to help me. I don¡¦t understand the rules or the niceties of being part of an aristocratic clan. I¡¦m just a common dog-nin.¡¨
¡§S-S-Stop th-that.¡¨
¡§What?¡¨
¡§You are not c-c-common. You are mine and you are S-Shino¡¦s. You are precious.¡¨
The glow Kiba felt inside was like that from a blazing hearth on a frosty winter¡¦s night. He felt it from the tips of his toes to the top of his head. And what¡¦s more he knew that this feeling would live inside of him for the rest of his life. He belonged to his loves as much as they belonged to him. He didn¡¦t know how he was going to withstand the joy of it, but he forced himself to refocus on Hinata¡¦s soft words.
¡§ D-Despite your name change, there is n-n-not one Aburame who c-could expect you to be anything m-m-more or less than an Inuzuka. Just be y-yourself. You and S-Shino-k-koi have been friends for a very long time. Many in this c-c-clan already know and like you, and I will help y-you with the r-r-rules. I just th-thought you needed to know that th-there is more here th-than meets the eye. Shino has a l-l-lot on his mind. He must maintain his c-clan¡¦s iron-clad respect if he is going to l-lead. That is why he is standing on the b-b-balcony in the rain thinking and not safe and warm here with us.¡¨
Thoughtful, Kiba gazed out at the rain drenched balcony again. Resolve, implacable and swift, rose up in him.
¡§I and all my dogs have his back. I will be his private bodyguard. I may not have had heir training but I do know you aristocrats don¡¦t always play fair when it comes to clan politics or even politics in general.¡¨
Hinata inclined her head approvingly at Kiba¡¦s passion. He was a fine uke.
¡§Although I have to say, I don¡¦t see bug freak¡¦s ten year old little brother stabbing him in the back anytime soon. Isn¡¦t he the next in line to be heir?¡¨
Hinata nearly choked. Kiba really didn¡¦t understand Aburame clan politics.
¡§Yes, b-but if Shino is no longer heir I-I would not b-bet even fifty/fifty that little S-S-Shinji lives to see his majority. Shino-k-koi is the only p-product of his father¡¦s f-f-first, c-clan approved marriage.¡¨
¡§Aw shit! ¡KThen I¡¦ll just have to protect Shinji with my life too.¡¨
Kiba shook his head as he forced himself to carefully think through all the numerous consequences. Nobles made everyone¡¦s lives so complicated. It was love and only love that could have forced him to want to fit into either of their lives. Well, Shino needed them now and they¡¦d just have to pick up the slack.
¡§I¡¦m sorry Hina-chan, but you are going to have to give Shino a lot of babies to make this right with his clan.¡¨
Head resting reassuringly on his huge chest, Hinata looked down at her bare, pink painted toes before nodding sadly. She might never get a chance to take the jounin exam, even though Shino had promised her that one day she would and that she would pass. Going on missions was out of the question altogether while she was bearing children, but could she even go back to her medical ninja internship? She really enjoyed the work. However, she refused to give into tears although she could feel their sharp sting under her eyeballs. She was a strong kunoichi. If this was the price to be paid for the three of them to be permanently together then she would pay it. It was a thousand times better than Kiba turning into some out of control beast that had to be put down, or Shino succumbing to soul-killing loneliness from a self-imposed, emotional isolation that would leave him a very fine killing machine but only an empty, icy shell of a man, or her doing her duty as a Hyuuga and becoming the Kazekage¡¦s perfectly respected but unloved, perhaps even ignored, wife. She released Kiba¡¦s neck and touched her baby bump with one shaky hand. Looking on the bright side, she had always liked little children.
Kiba suddenly laughed out loud. Startled, Hinata looked up at him wide-eyed wanting in on the joke. She leaned into him further and relaced her fingers together behind his neck.
¡§What¡¦s s-so funny K-Kiba-k-kun?¡¨
Kiba¡¦s arms tightened around her. He was never going to let her escape him.
¡§Hyuugas and Inuzukas are quite fruitful, so you know together we will multiply. Add to that, Shino and I taking turns knocking you up, well, the Aburame are not going to know what hit them. And you will be the most wonderful, glorious mother, my darling Hina-chan.¡¨
Hinata knew that she had an unusual sense of humor. It was almost black, and no one understood it quite like Kiba. She could actually see the perplexed expressions on all the quiet, careful, sunglasses covered faces of the tall, taciturn Aburame as they got a look at mountains of tumbling, loud Inuzukas with unearthly Hyuuga eyes that could see completely through them who bore the venerable Aburame name and called Shino ¡¥Dad¡¦. She laughed. It was funny.
Kiba smiled contentedly. Hinata¡¦s laugh was like a struck match banishing the darkness. He too in his small way could bring out the best in his Princess. He felt her soft body shift under her silken robe. Against his rough hands the fabric was exquisite and obscenely expensive. But he and Shino were her family now, not Neji or any other scum sucking Hyuuga who were not fit to latch her sandals. She didn¡¦t need to cling to their fake gifts. If that meant that he had to dress her every morning himself, head to toe, in nothing but kisses, he would.
The famed Inuzuka stamina kicking in, he suddenly cast off his weariness and without warning easily hoisted her up into his arms.
¡§This robe is coming off of you.¡¨
He shot her a look that said as her alpha and her mate he meant business. Not bothering to give the open balcony door so much as a backward glance, Aburame-Inuzuka Kiba carried Aburame Hinata forward towards their bedroom.
Shino stood quietly in the light, slow falling rain, staring straight into the heart of the night. Deep in thought he leaned forward, one powerful hand propped up underneath his chin and his right elbow resting heavily on the balcony¡¦s now lopsided railing. Heedless of everything except his scattered thoughts, the slick coldness of the metal did not register. Neither did the fact that his body had turned numb from the blowing drizzle or that he had been standing outside bare-footed, bare-chested and bare-headed in the early morning¡¦s soft winter rain for about a half an hour. He knew that his kikaichu were displeased that he and they were getting soaked. However they maintained a strange silence whilst they burrowed themselves more deeply within the inner layers of his skin and nibbled at his chakra. He cast his eyes upwards to the heavens for the one thousandth time but could not make out any stars to light his way. The cloud cover was too thick. All he had was the knowledge that to his very marrow he was an Aburame, and the Aburame heir to be exact. That meant something. He clenched and opened his left fist repeatedly before striking the wet railing. The fact that he freely bore a male Inuzuka¡¦s mating seal on his person wouldn¡¦t change that. He couldn¡¦t let it change that. One day he would lead his beloved clan as capably and as devotedly as he led his team. He hadn¡¦t come this far, won the three most difficult and necessary battles of his life, to just lose the war for his existence. He was an elite, leaf shinobi. Sacrificing his birthright, and possibly his little brother¡¦s life was as unacceptable as living without Hinata and Kiba. There was a way and he would find it. Already he was anticipating which of his older cousins, and maybe even uncles, would step forward to challenge his fitness to be heir. But if he was truthful, he wasn¡¦t sure that he could win the fight.
He ground his teeth in anguish. How had he let all this happen? He had only intended to let Kiba mark him but never seal him. A healed bite wound could become just one of many scars on an active Shinobi¡¦s body. But a seal, a mating seal, was something quite different. It was that mad beast that had reared up without a hint of humanity in its golden eyes ¡K he shook his head purposefully. He could no more allow Kiba to lose his sanity than he could allow the Kazekage to have Hinata. He would just have to prove his fitness to lead. Make it unequivocally clear that he was his wife¡¦s husband, Kiba was his uke and that he was their future clan leader. But how long could he get away with concealing the red fanged seal on his shoulder? Should he even try to conceal it? Perhaps not...
Perhaps he should cut his losses. He swallowed hard, tears nearly springing to his eyes from the inner pain. A good leader had to consider the possibility of retreat. Kiba, Hinata and he could voluntarily leave Konoha, taking Shinji with them. However it would ruin Hinata and all their children forever, plus leave all the Aburames in a death struggle with the Hyuugas. His hii oba-chan¡¦s matter of fact voice rang in his mind.
¡§I am sorry to say that alone, it is a battle we cannot win. They are the strongest clan in Konoha and there are simply too many of them.¡¨
Besides, leaving would only be a temporary fix.
¡§We both know that Hiashi is crazy when it comes to Hyuuga purity.¡¨
The Hyuugas¡¦ would hunt them down; pursue them to the ends of the earth. And given how their clan worked, it would probably be either Neji, or Hanabi, or both, who would be assigned the task to kill all four of them not even excepting the baby in Hinata¡¦s womb. Neji and Hanabi, the vicious, avenging archangels of Hyuuga purity with all the Hyuuga host at their backs, out to eliminate the cancer that was Hinata-sama. Just the knowledge of that reality would decimate Hinata before any death blows were even struck. No! There could be no retreat and no surrender. Better to fight his clan than to fight Hyuugas. He had better odds of winning.
So here he was once again racking his mind trying to figure out what to do. And he wasn¡¦t sure that there was anything that he could do but accept defeat.
He blinked a moment before tilting his head to the side. It had registered somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind that the two chakra signatures that he was most intimately familiar with were near to him. However, he had not anticipated the very large green umbrella suddenly hanging over his head, shielding him and them from the rain. Nor could he ignore the soothing warmth of the hard male body pressing in behind him, and the sweet, tantalizing voluptuousness of the female one in front of him. Without saying a word, Hinata patted dry the rain water from his face, nose, and shoulders using a warm towel. Planting her small booted feet atop of his, she stood on him while stretching up to carefully dry his soaked hair. Holding his gaze, her incomparable white eyes shone like headlights in the deepest dark. And like the spinning of straw into gold, his impossible despair turned into miraculous hope. Unerringly, his wet arm snaked out of its own accord to wrap around her tiny waist and hold her to him. His kikaichu sang loudly as they always did when she was near. He trembled. What on earth was she wearing? It looked like one of his yukatas which was at least three sizes too big for her and way too long. Yet she looked like an empress in it, more so than she had in her earlier silken robe. What a statement - her taking her solace from him rather than from Hyuuga Neji. The knowledge re-charged him, fired up his soul in a way that was totally unexpected. What a treasure, what a gift it was to be loved by her and to be able to openly love her back in return. His throat closed up with a flood of pure emotion. He was unable to speak as he held her close to his heart. This woman, his woman, made him so strong and yet so weak all at the same time. He had to succeed for her.
Unwilling to be ignored, Kiba grasped his left bicep, and squeezed. Friendship, affection, understanding and most of all devotion were all there in Kiba¡¦s fiery touch. Plus Kiba¡¦s high body heat was a comforting brand against his back. He got it. The large umbrella Kiba held high over their heads was a shield for more than just the rain. Nevertheless, it was Kiba¡¦s hot breath blowing over his cold shoulder and then hovering over the smooth, red seal upon it that telegraphed true love.
Shino stood tall and stiff in shock, a gasp escaped his lips and his arm tightened around his wife¡¦s waist. He had had no idea that the seal was a communication link between them. Boldly he swiveled his head and roughly caught Kiba¡¦s mouth in a hard, powerful, dominating kiss. Kiba returned the bruising kiss eagerly. It was a long kiss, both tongues tasting as sweet and as richly textured as plum summer wine. It was a kiss that acknowledged they were men as well as shinobi. And, that this was how men kissed when one proudly bore the other¡¦s name and the other proudly bore the first¡¦s mating seal. Could either one give the other up? Never!
Breaking the kiss, Shino beheld Kiba¡¦s brilliant, devilish smile. In love as they were, they were also two men who were hopelessly in love with the same incredible kunoichi. Kiba released his bicep and reached down and around him to very possessively palm the fleshy curve of Hinata¡¦s ass with a big hand. But his possessiveness didn¡¦t stop him from pressing Hinata into Shino¡¦s groin further, all the while holding Shino¡¦s glittering eyes.
¡§Bug-freak, nothing is ever going to change. You are the Aburame¡¦s future clan leader - no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Sweetheart, get your aristocratic, hard-assed, big-swinging-dick self in gear. Let¡¦s show them what being an Aburame is really about.¡¨
Still trying to catch his breath, Shino simply nodded. Kiba¡¦s decisive confidence was invigorating. It worked to banish his fatigue. He turned back to gaze out at the dark, his mind already formulating a strategy. One that used Kiba¡¦s extraordinary heart, Hinata¡¦s all seeing eyes and his own cool, careful and silent demeanor. His uncles and cousins weren¡¦t going to know what hit them.
Hinata listened to the steady pounding of Shino¡¦s heart underscored by the humming serenade of his deadly kikaichu as Kiba fondled her derriere and shielded them all from the quiet rain. Very close by, a cock crowed thrice. That meant a rosy hue was on the edge of brightening the dark night¡¦s horizon. Contented, she kissed the fluttering pulse in Shino¡¦s warm throat as she absently reached up and curled a hank of Kiba¡¦s coarse, brown hair round her finger. Her heart was overflowing with love, and she knew that there was no need to speak. Life had taught her that it was always the darkest before the dawn. Shino would figure it all out. He¡¦d figure out that team eight no longer existed. In its place were three shinobi minds, three shinobi souls, and three shinobi hearts bound and blended together as one. They were all Aburame, an Aburame trey to be exact. That meant something. It was something truly special. And now it was their time to shine.
The End.

The End.
