The Goth and The Jock

The next morning Lee had left early to go on a morning jog and just now was running back into the house.

Gaara was laying on Lee's bed looking through his photo album a sad look in his light green eyes. 'I hope they are ok...' He thought and sighed.

Lee happily got some water and jogged into his own room, jumping on the bed next to Gaara. "Why do you look through that so often..? Your eyes always look so sad when you do.." He murmured out while uncapping the water bottle and taking a sip.

Gaara looked at Lee for a moment and then bit his lip, he sat up and looked down at a photo of his siblings. "I...it's all I have of my past...all I have of my siblings..." Gaara said and looked up at Lee. "It means more to me then anything I own.."

Lee thought to himself then leaned into Gaara, "Why do you not think about seeing your siblings..?" he asked softly.

"I can't...I'm not allowed back at home.." Gaara said sadly and turned to a page and then hesitantly showed it to Lee, on it a picture of him as a little kid sitting on a swing and his siblings sitting on the lawn smiling.

"Well.. would you be happy to see your brother again?" He then asked as he snuggled in close glancing at the photo album in Gaara's hands.

Gaara nodded and slowly moved the album closer to the older male. "You have to know...I have only let Naruto look through this...its very precious to me and really personal so...me showing this to you means I trust you alot.." He whispered and set the album in Lee's lap.

Lee smiled and started to flip through the pages looking at all the pictures. "Well I am glad you trust me..." He said softly. Then he started thinking up a little plan in his head. "Gaara.. will you come to my soccer game tonight?" He asked.

Gaara watched Lee look through the pages then blinked at what he said. "Really? ...Lee I don't think your team will take to kindly to me..though I have always wanted to watch you play." Gaara said and sat up moving to side behind Lee and rest his chin on his shoulder.

"I would be really happy if you came to watch me play Gaara.. and if they have a problem with you then I will quit the team and join another one. I do not need to play with people who are not accepting of the most precious thing to me.." He said then stopped at a picture in the middle of the book of the three siblings hugging each other. Lee smiled at the picture, Gaara looked so happy in it.

"Wha? You couldn't quit the team! You worked so hard...Naruto told me all the shit you went through to be the star player." Gaara said then looked down at the picture. "That day...its when the three of us really bonded...when they realized I wasn't some heartless kid that my dad got them to think I was.." He said and winced noticing his wrist in the photo was bruised and hopped Lee didn't notice it.

Lee shrugged, "I do not care, if they do not approve of you they do not approve of me," He said simply and he gave Gaara a light kiss. He noticed the bruise but decided not to ask as he shut the photo album and slid it onto Gaara's lap. "I have to go right now ok? Show up at the arena at five." He said to him as he got off the bed.

"What? You call that a kiss goodbye?" Gaara asked playfully and smirked up at his boyfriend; he set the album on the bedside table and folded his arms over his chest.

"A little demanding today are we not?" Lee asked playfully as he walked over and picked Gaara out of the bed. He spun him around before stopping and keeping his arms wrapped tightly around the smaller boy. One of his hands moved up and rest on the side of Gaara's soft cheek as he leaned in his eyes closing. Slowly his lips brushed Gaara's as he whispered, "I love you.."

Gaara squeaked when he was picked up and smiled wrapping his arms around Lee's neck and blushed. He pecked Lee gently on the lips and whispered back. "I love you more." He turned his head and kissed Lee's hand surprising himself a little at how affectionate he was being to the older male.

Lee's eyes widened in surprise at how Gaara was acting and he kissed his temple and said, "I have to go now, I have to find someone. See you at five.." And with that he pulled out of Gaara's arms and pouted at leaving but turned leaving the bedroom.

"I'll be there." Gaara called and jumped as his phone vibrated in his pocket, he pulled it out and looked to see Naruto had texted him. '*Need food comig to pick U up Gar.*" Was the text from Naruto. "Dragging me around again." Gaara said to himself but smiled. He got up and got changed into his outdoor outfit.

Later at five Lee sat waiting in a front row seat in the bleachers looking around. He had invited 3 people to come, and not one of them had shown up yet. A sigh left his lips as he rested his arm on his knee and his head in his hand. "Hey, Lee come on, we have to warm up!" Kiba called from the field to his team player.

"Ow shit!" Gaara spat as he struggled to climb over the fence and moved his leg over the top of it to get to the other side. "What are you doing here?" A guy asked looking at him and Gaara glared at him. "Oh just climbing fences out of boredom..what do you think? Move your blocking where I need to land." Gaara said twitching and the male glared at him before moving to the side.

Lee raised an eye brow noticing that someone was climbing the fence and one of the other team members were bugging him. Then when he noticed it was a pure black dot meaning it was his gothic love Gaara, he nearly jumped out of the bleachers.. no wait he did, right onto the field. After catching himself he bolted over and caught Gaara when he jumped down. "You could have hurt yourself silly, what are you doing..?" He asked looking around for his blond friend as well.

Gaara blushed and wrapped a arm around Lee. "Sorry just trying to get in un noticed." He said with a sweat drop.

Lee sweat dropped and chuckled. "You kind of failed my love.. Everyone can notice a black dot climbing over a fence." He nuzzled his head into his gothic mate then set him down on the grass. "Now come on, where is Naruto? The game is about to start, you both have seats in the front row I reserved for you," He said while walking the boy over there. He ignored the looks from everyone and the whispered from his team mates. Kiba immediately burst in, "Sooo how is your love with Gaara? I think you guys work well together," He said giving glares to the other team mates.

Gaara blushed and jumped when he heard a yell and turned to see Naruto running over to them. "I'm late sorry! I had to help find one of the bob cats who was hiding..damn they got tree climbing skills!" Naruto said and had a few band aids on his face and hands.

Lee laughed and pointed to their seats, "hurry up go sit" His lips pursed together when he noticed that his other person he invited wasn't there yet. Then he shook his head trying to block out the thoughts and keep his head in the game. About 2 hours later Lee was waving at his team mates while jogging over to Gaara standing on the field next to the bleachers. Upon seeing that the guest still wasn't there his smile faltered and he sighed. "Gaara, come on, I want to show you to the whole team."

Gaara sweat dropped and looked down. "Lee...I dunno." He said and Naruto looped an arm around him. "Do they want to met the real Gaara or the Gaara everyone see's? Everyone left but your team!" Naruto said and gave a playful tug on the redheads wig making Gaara elbow him.

Lee smiled, "Which ever one that Gaara wants them to know.." He murmured out softly. Then the older male held out his hand looking at Gaara with big brown pleading eyes, "Come with me.. please?" He asked in his usual gentle voice.

Gaara blushed and shyly placed his hand in Lee's. "I g-guess.." He said awkwardly and Naruto grinned and got up to follow them. "Hey I think I was sitting in soda.." Naruto said glaring at the seat.

Lee laughed while inner locking his fingers with Gaara's. "Way to ruin the mood Naruto," He said to him while pulling Gaara down from the bleachers catching him and walking him over to his team. "Everyone, I told you I was dating someone besides Sakura.. and this is..him.." Lee said glancing at Gaara before looking at his team mates.

Gaara blushed darker and rubbed his elbow getting confused on why he was feeling so shy. Naruto rested his bat on his shoulder and smiled looking at his friends, he was really happy for them.

The team members looked at each other and started whispering amongst each other. Kiba started cracking his knuckles ready to bash skulls in if they said something bad but what they said confused him slightly. "Nice Lee, good for you," A few of them said while others whispered something into his ear making him turn bright red. "Guys! D-Do not say stuff like that.. that is not the only reason.."

Gaara blinked looking at everyone and Naruto spoke before he could. "So you guys ok with Gaara?" Naruto asked wrapping a arm around the redhead and raised a eye brow.

When they all nodded Lee couldn't help but yell, "Yosh! Then he is accepted, come on Gaara, Let us go celebrate!" And he dragged both his friends away back to the house. Just as they were leaving though Kiba noticed someone coming into the arena.

The tall male walked onto the field and glanced around, he sighed and rubbed his forehead looking annoyed. "Damn...I'm late." He muttered and turned going to leave.

Kiba looked the other brunette up and down before running over catching his arm. "Hey, were you going?" He asked looking up at him.

He blinked and turned looking down at Kiba. "I was late getting here so the person I was meant to met I guess already left." He said frowning.

"Umm well what is your name and who were you gonna meet?" The teen asked tilting his head his red tattoos under his eyes being illuminated in the spot lights around the stadium.

"I'm Kankuro.. and I kinda forgot the name of the guy I was gonna meet. He's tall and plays with this team, black hair...uh big eye brows." Kankuro said and blinked looking at Kiba's tattoos.

The dog like boy smiled at hearing the strangers name then it faltered at hearing the disruption. 'Damn it.. that means he will go away.. waiiitt I can show him the way.' Kiba thought and grinned showing the fake incisors he had. "Come on right this way Kankuro I know just who you are looking for.." Kiba said turning and walking to the exit of the arena.
